The video cuts of Shane saying that "he's an empath" creeped me the fuck out.
I just finished the video and I’m still processing what I feel. I know I felt super uncomfortable with the one Millie scene. I know it’s a puppet but the implications... it shook me to my core, it made my stomach turn and with everything else as context i can say I am disturbed.
I will say this; I was a Shane fan, but back in the day I used to think him and onision were the same person and found them racist and weird. Then I “rediscovered” Shane when he was doing his spooky boys and conspiracy vids and I found out two they are different people, so I thought all the racist weird pedo shit was Onision not Shane and gave him a chance. Now I know it was both, it was always both.
I’m like 99% sure that DW goes on this sub. So if you see this I just wanted to let you know you’re my favorite YouTuber!!
Fantastic video. Very well researched, he came to not mess around, and given the severity of everything, that was the right thing to do. A+ he said everything perfectly, absolutely worth the watch.
The only minor thing I would have added is how awful "the dark place" excuse is. I'm gay and I've been in the closet too, and somehow I still managed to never do blackface, to say nothing of anything else. But again, this is minor compared to everything else
Haven’t watched it yet, but it’s awesome to see DW videos being praised all over reddit. I’ve been a sub since he had around less than 100k and to watch him blow up has been awesome. His videos are such quality and his commentary, so I’m happy he’s getting the recognition for that hard work. He’s also so young but I forget all the time since he’s so mature with really interesting things to add to the conversation. Such a cool dude and I’m so glad his work is paying off.
Edit: Watched it. So incredible. May be his best video yet. I am so glad I've been watching this guy since his "art drama" saga. I am, however, somehow more disturbed by Shane's past content. I didn't even think it was possible but DW definitely proved me wrong.
The most disturbing part of the animal abuse clips was probably that part where Shane starts making out with that Husky (can’t believe I have to type that) and someone yells “oh my god he always does this!” What the fuck?
It’s the moment we have all been waiting for... D’Angelo finally graced us with his video on SD. Only posted 9 minutes ago and a 1 hour 15 min deep dive. Looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts!
