receive the things of the Spirit of God for they're spiritually discerned but we have the mind of Christ okay so that was quoting from seven different scriptures you know where they stand okay for as the heavens are higher than the earth so my ways are higher than your ways my thoughts than your thoughts in other words God doesn't say it's higher it means it's of a different standards it's of a highest entities from above it's not from beneath it's of a different quality now it tried to explain the thoughts for as the rain and the snow comes down from the heavens and returned out there again but what to the earth and make it to bring forth and sprout that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth it shall not return to me void you in the spirit realm people get all these weird ideas about spiritual warfare and demons in the heavenly places and we fight ourselves to pieces in the heavenly places and the only the Bible talks about in the higher places in high places that high places is your head that's the high place don't look at me funny the devil works through people that's why the Bible says we struggle not against flesh and blood but against the principalities in high places where's the high places the wicked minds he says you were wicked in your minds but now you were reconciled to God so let the unrighteous forsake his evil thoughts let the wicked man get away from thinking wrong it's your thoughts that activate demon powers in the air if you think right there will be no demon activities in your area if you think wrong they will be demon act demons are activated by the wicked thoughts of people so repent get your thought life strength first Peter 1 verse 30 says so gird up the loins of your mind be sober so Peter says gird up your mind that means that word good means make ready gird up your mind then he says how you must gird up your mind how do you get your mind ready for what Peter is trying to tell us be sober okay now the word sober means not under the influence thank you sober means don't be under the influence that East means to be sober now in the King James as well as the amplified I think there are about 910 in different scriptures where the word sober comes in but only three has got this connotation to not be under the influence the other word sober has been interpreted I don't know why they're the translators put us in there but it's the word body you know like way Paul says in 2nd Corinthians 5:13 when I'm beside myself you know it's for God's glory when I'm sober it is for your sake that word sober is when I'm in the body when I'm natural when I'm acting physical when I'm not really spiritual then it's for your benefit so sometimes I gotta act fleshly to help you go to my mind so to get my mind ready to receive from God I've got to not be under the influence under the influence of what so I've got to change my thought under the influence I gotta be out of the anxieties okay the anxieties the worries choked the word so the word didn't produce what's supposed to produce in my life the word what will prevent the word to produce in my life if I have got wrong thoughts so forsake your thoughts repent and get god's thoughts where do I get god's thoughts in the word so i mustn't be under the influence of my wrong thoughts I'm gonna try and we gonna go on I'm under the influence of my train of thoughts I come under the influence of thoughts the influence of thoughts is called cares the influence of taking an air out of the Greek concordance the influence of my thoughtless brings me to a place of distractions so I gonna put it according to the word I'm distracted when I allow my thoughts to run away from God's words and then those thoughts start over occupying me they start making my mind too busy and when my mind is too busy with distractions the Word of God is choked and I don't bear fruit so verse 41 but the Lord replied to her by saying Martha Martha you can put your name in the if you want to you are anxious and troubled about many things now are you ready okay so in Matthew 13 and 22 mark 4 and 9 when he says the case of this world chokes the word where he says in Philippians 4 be careful for nothing the same word but in everything let your request be made known unto God with praise application remember that story so that word cares is the word distraction in the Greek I want to put it down again so the Bible says Martha was distracted and then jesus said to her listen to this word now maybe I should cite for the scholars the Greek word therefore the cares and care for is the word marina which means distracted but it's got included in the fuller Greek dictionary that which includes punishment okay I just want to say you are distracted with something that includes punishment but then we get to verse 41 and it says you are careful about many things that word careful is not marina but Maryam nail it differs at the back and coming your way daily trying to distract you all the time you don't have to take it Martha you are distracted but Martha let me tell you you have now taken one of those distracted thoughts now I want the air for they sow not neither do they reap nor gather into barns yet your heavenly Father feeds them are you not much better than they yes I am are you not better than a bird and a chicken and a turkey verse 27 I hope you can find the stretching of the words which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature I want you to understand that word taking thought means cares careful worries which of you by worrying which of you by being filled with cares which of you by being here so the word take the thought you can change it with cares which of you by being caring which of you
