The Church's Greatest Danger No One is Talking About | Perry Stone

put your hand up with me i want you to say this out loud i'm open to hear this word because it's going to change my life if i will listen to it and follow it it will change my life for the next few moments the lord dealt with me very very strong about what i'm about to share with you and i had an actual vision it lasted about two seconds three seconds the other day at 3 10 and he said to add it at the end of this message and i want you to understand as i get ready to share this that this is not an opinion message this is not something that i just decided to come up with because i want to give you the greatest danger the church is experiencing that no one is talking about it's the silent elephant in the room and if we don't get a grip on this subject and i'm going to go through more scriptures probably than i've ever gone through in my entire ministry to show you a foundation of this and i've i've i've often asked myself um what would be the most dangerous thing no let me go back what would be the most frightening thing to hear or the most frightening thing period and i thought okay if the doctor told you you were terminally ill and you were dying early that would be a very frightening thing if if your companion came to you after years of marriage and said i don't love you anymore i'm divorcing you that would be uh that would be earth shaking in most families if you um go to a bank which i have had two friends to do this and you're just doing the bank business and robbers walk in until you get on the floor if you move they're going to kill you that is a frightening thing when you have had which i have a drunk driver on the wrong side of the road coming towards you at night with lights and you just barely escape a head-on collision at 50 miles an hour that is a frightening thing but i want to give you and i want you to please please hear my heart and my spirit that i believe the most frightening thing and even paul bore this out paul the apostle paul who wrote we believe about 14 letters of the new testament if we can include the book of hebrews paul who was stoned and left for dead had 22 things in second corinthians 11 that he suffered for christ's sake he says himself that he had a fear of one particular day paul and i'm thinking to myself when i read this i said paul dear lord brother if you have done all these things for god and you're telling me you're afraid where does that leave me or where does that leave the average church member sitting in a church and the day that i want to mention and i'm going to again bring in the vision at the end of this is called the bema it's called the judgment seat of christ and the reason that i want to teach this is because there is a carelessness with christians with their mouth thank you all seven of you christians have become busybodies christians have become gossips christians repeat information that's not even vetted christians repeat lies that other people tell them without realizing it is a lie and they act as though they're getting by with it this is the thing that i want to address tonight you are not going to get by at the judgment seat of christ unless you deal with the issues now face to face with the people that you're dealing with now this is not going to be a hoop holler shouter and shouting run the aisles that'll come later come to warrior fest you'll get more shouting than you know what to do with so i'm going to begin to read scriptures and i've uh jonathan i hope you have all these up second corinthians chapter 5 verses 10 through 11 a lot of scriptures but i want you to see what the word has to say about this so jonathan if you have second corinthians this is the first one chapter 5 verses 10 through 11. did you get it done son yes sir for we must all appear before the judgment seat of christ i'll give you the greek word for judgment seat there in a moment that each one may receive the things done in their body that means what you did on earth according to what was done now watch this this is the judgment seat now whether it be good or bad you are rewarded for the good you lose your reward for the bad knowing therefore watch this this is the bema the terror of the lord we persuade men but we are well known to god and i also trust well known in your consciences matthew chapter 16 27-28 matthew chapter 16 27-28 for the son of man is going to come in his father's glory and his angels and then he will reward each person according to what he has done now paul said it this way it is appointed unto men once to die and afterwards the judgment now please listen to me everybody in this room everybody watching me will individually face to face stand before christ to answer from the moment that you spoke your first word to the moment you breathed your last breath or up to the moment of the rapture the bema is called the judgment seat of christ those who will be raised at the rapture and those who will be raptured out and whose bodies will be changed from mortal to immortality those are the ones who appear at this judgment let me say it again it is the judgment seat of christ the reason you have 24 elders in heaven you have 12 from the old testament that are the sons of jacob you have 12 from the new testament which are the 12 apostles we cannot be judged based on an old covenant because we came in under the new covenant therefore paul said you will be judged by my gospel you will be judged by matthew mark luke and john the statements they made and by those men in other words they you have to stand based on what you knew in the new testament because that's where the bema is the old testament saints have to be judged by the twelve sons of jacob and also by the mosaic law that many of them died under there some of them were never under the law but when the law came they are responsible for the level of knowledge which they knew now you can't be judged for something wrong if you did not know it was wrong there is a sin of ignorance this is in your bible and there is a sin of knowledge the worst sin is the sin of knowledge or it's said this way in the new testament to him that knoweth to do good and does it not it is a sin if i know for example something is wrong but i choose to do that which is wrong that's a sin against knowledge a sin of ignorance is someone who has just been saved and maybe they've been living together and sleeping together they're in church for a couple weeks but they they have no knowledge because they weren't raised around the gospel they didn't have christian parents so they have no knowledge of anything being right or wrong so that's where they have to be taught now once you are accountable to the knowledge you have let me give you a a version a different version but the word where little is known little is required where much is known much is required the greatest fear i would have sitting here tonight is if my mother or grandmother raised me in sunday school in church and i heard the gospels but i have willfully chosen never to come to church and never to obey god and hope one day before i die i can repent that is a very scary position to be in as the expression is some will be saved by the skin of their teeth meaning a last-minute confession but i'll talk about the reward in a moment and the significant of that so the bema is for those who are from the time of the thief on the cross till the time of the rapture we all go to the bema that's our bunch right there there's the judgment of the nations when does that happen at the end of the seven year tribulation jesus will sit in jerusalem and judge the nations and this is the separation of the wheat and the terror parable which is alluded to in matthew 13 the children of satan are separated from those who have survived the tribulation there will be tribulation survivors and trust me you don't want to risk it to be one of them did you understand what i just said why don't you go on the first load hello okay then at the end of the 1000 unit rain one thousand year reign this is revelation chapter 20 there's something called the great white thumb judgment now who are these people these people are all of the sinners that have gone to hell their soul and spirit is in hell they will be taken out of hell and god will show each one of them individually it's going to be like playing a record it's going to be like hitting a computer keyboard and your whole life will flash in front of you and you will know why you are condemned never to enter the kingdom all of those people along with all of the fallen angels in second peter 2 and 4 in the book of jew that are now bound in the greek word is tartarus it's the lowest compartment under the earth according to the greeks according to scripture where fallen angels are they will be at this judgment satan will be at this this judgment principalities powers and demons will be of this judgment and everyone who lived in the uh one thousand year reign of christ who were humans who died will have to go with this judgment and so they will be judged according to whether they had ever received the lord that's the millennial people by the way but those in hell here's the thing about those separated from god right now there are people that in hell is in a chamber underneath the earth we know that science proves that and the bible proves that if you really study it but those people there are people there that say i don't deserve to be here and there may be people there that say why am i here god being a just god will say to them individually and play their life and say this is why you could not enter into the fellowship of the kingdom now everybody at one time then are cast into the lake of fire let me tell you something that i believe based on people who have died and went to hell their solar spirit not their body but their soul and spirit went to hell and they lived to tell it later they said it is not the heat or the fire that's torturing it is the absolute absence of god's presence that destroys you there is no peace there is no joy all the good feeling of any kind of good feeling that you've ever known your grandbabies sitting in your lap your wife and you going to a lake you're taking your kids fishing any good feeling is absent so to me i'm going to say to me the worst part of hell is the absence of god it's the absence of the good things that you know that come with god and that alone would be enough now my subject is not hell tonight but i do want to bring that out as far as the great white throne judgment now here's what i want to share with you and i'm going to make some very bold statements i have been preaching for going on 46 years i have seen in the body of christ the good the bad and the ugly i have seen extreme spirituality that is mind-blowing like my aunt be that's the most godly woman i've ever met in my life we call her aunt be our head prayer lady and i have seen the extreme on the other end of complete total blatant hypocrisy and the enjoyment of that hypocrisy i will i'm going to make four statements the biggest gossiping group in the world is christians i'm going to get amen from the back because y'all ain't going to hide from me tonight the christian community has the largest number of backbiters in the world i was at a place with five outright sinners you know why none of them had ever accepted the lord because they said the church has the most judgmental and unforgiving people that exist and they hate the judgmental spirit that the christians have and now listen to me it's not everybody oh sure it's nobody in this house i'm talking about i'm sure but this is not everybody but i'm saying if you take 2 billion christians that are in the world this is the pro i'm gonna look i told you we're gonna plow tonight you might as well fake a smile fake amen or do something because we're gonna go there anyway you're here you're already here while christians are good at classifying other people's sins they seem to ignore their own mouth and forget that the power of life and death are in their own tongue now listen to this statement because we're going to plow there right now in the word of god the greatest danger is christians church attenders think that they can do or say anything under the guise of being spiritual and get away with it they are self deceived if they believe that i'm going to give you a long list of scriptures from the word of god we're going to read them together slowly we're going to go to matthew chapter 5. four major scriptures we're going to deal with matthew chapter 5 verse 21-25 jonathan i hope i gave you all these if i don't i'll go ahead and start reading them anyway most of these are new king james matthew 5 21-25 you've heard it said to those of old you shall not murder and whoever murders will be in danger of judgment but i say to you whoever is angry at his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment and whoever says to his brother raqqa and that is say that means that's aramaic for you for you idiot are you fool shall be in danger of the counsel but i'm sorry whoever says rocket shall be in danger of the council but who says you're full there's the verse i'm looking for shall be in danger of hell fire he's not talking to sinners he's talking to people who are obeying the law but if you start talking about you idiot you fool you stupid person you will be in danger of hell fire therefore if you bring your gift to the altar and remember that your brother has something against you leave your gift there at the altar and go your way first and be reconciled to your brother and then come and offer your gift now you clean your ears out because i'm going to tell you something about old school pentecost i'm four generations of old school pentecost how many know what i'm talking about when i say old school do i have to explain it raise your hand if you know what i mean by old school okay let me explain it to you this way when i grew up in the cog i'll let you figure out what that is but when i grew up in the cog and we took in members we had a book that we read that says you can't wear makeup you can't row jewelry you can't wear pants you can't go swimming you know it says you can't mix bathe i looked at my mom one day when i heard that i said i don't take a bath with nobody but myself that's just the term for swimming so we were so concerned about not offending god that's the point that we did we wanted to do nothing to offend the father but what happened with it in the sincerity of wanting to be holy before god and be perfect before god it turned into a judgmental spirit and a pharisee spirit that if a person came into the church looking like what we did not think they should look immediately they were judged aniston alabama i'll just tell you where i was doesn't doesn't i'm 62 now and i'll just say a lot more than i used to a woman came to me it was a three-week revival they just built a brand new huge church and she came and prayed for my daughter she's an alcoholic so she wants her daughter to come to church to hear me preach and lo and behold i look up and here comes a woman in a tank top t-shirt and she had shorts on and she'd been drinking a little bit and she come down and plopped beside her mother and i thought oh praise god her daughter's here and the mother looks and said what are you doing coming in the house of god dressed like that you get yourself out of here come on woman you are literally on steroids of stupidity you're telling me you want me to pray we've prayed your daughter in can i tell you can i look at this camera and tell you how ramp and oci and voe and iso and anybody else that's ever been around and existed in this building feels ready we don't care how you come to church we don't care what condition you are when you walk in this building because we believe that the power of god has the ability to liberate you and set you free and we can't help you if you ain't here that felt good to say now going back to the verse let me go back to the verse because i don't want to get sidetracked into an area that the lord would not want me to go in the old school i remember that people tithed and gave now stay with me here because i'm going to show you something interesting many years ago i became acquainted with the ministry of kenneth hagin jerry savelle charles capps i knew some of these guys personally kenneth copeland okay i know kenneth personally so in the 80s i began to study the word of faith which was confess the word confess your sins confess you know watch your mouth and i heard preachers at large camp meetings in my denomination stand up and say this copenhagen name it claim it grab it nab it doctrine it's from the pits and i'm thinking to myself hold on here dude then i would ask these men when did you read their books i never did really when did you hear them teach on a cassette tape i never did so they were going by what other people were saying and had no information on themselves a well-known preacher's son got on his uh program and took my book the meal that heals and tore it apart that's on day daily come here tore it to shreds so a friend of mine from cleveland went to a certain state you know who i'm talking about yes your father-in-law used to be on his board yes and went to a certain state and said to this young man when did you read perry's book he said i never did he said i just went to a blog that where people were talking about it and read what the people said give me a break everything i wrote in the book was historic everything i wrote was biblical and i would challenge him to a debate because everything i wrote i could prove what i wrote anybody read that book to me of the heels it's totally sound but again he had never read it so he is judging by a misrepresentation of what other people said and they were not even theologians who were criticizing me they were people who aren't we were in there i don't believe in there i don't believe in that still here i've got the first five rows with me if i don't have the rest of you so we'll get the rest of you in a minute but watch what i'm going to say one of the things the word of faith men taught was and i know don't don't write me prosperity preaching let me tell you what the bible says you want a word prosperity from the new testament but love that worship of all things that you may prosper and be in health even if you're so prosperous don't write me and tell me you don't believe in prospering it's real funny that rich people have no problems with that verse and it's the people ain't got nothing to have a problem with that verse if you start believing the word and paying tithe or giving or doing something for god you'd start believing the verse because you'd start seeing it work in your life excuse me but i've just i've gotten i'm just going to get it all out tonight so people would say well i've been given for years and ain't done nothing for me i heard people say this i've been paying time for years these people preachers talking about a breakthrough never happened to me well go back and read what he said your problem sir and man may have been that you criticized everybody that didn't look like you you cut down sinners like a dog you gossiped about your preachers and ran them all off you told stories from other people that weren't even true about people and you want to know why i've been given tithe for 25 years and never got my breakthrough because jesus said unless you reconcile your differences and unless you reconcile the stuff that's in your heart and get it right you might as well leave your gift and go away with it because he ain't gonna bless it oh i'm preaching now [Laughter] pam and i have been blessed for years and pam's a giver we're givers and i'm not gonna brag on that but i will tell you this don't ever criticize my blessing till you know what i've given come on don't criticize all that god's doing for us till you understand how many bills we've paid we paid bills for people that used to sit here hospital bills surgery bills car payments house payments where are they at now but do you think i'm gonna quit giving because people that we gave to don't care about us don't really love us do you think i'm gonna quit pat now because i know where the blessings come from he didn't tell me to give expecting of them to love me he didn't tell me to get expecting to pat me on the back i don't give a rip you know why because when i get to the judgment god's going to remember everything that i gave to people oh praise god hallelujah that's why i don't worry about it i said i'll get my i'll get mine one day hey you believe there's cars in heaven no but there might be a gold wagon i'm going to haul my crown and you never know you never know you never know still here so the reason the reason that the blessing never came was they were disobeying what jesus said by having animosity unforgiveness and bitterness and they live in it all the time but they're doing the work and never getting the reward you know why jesus said he said because you can't give it to get what's in you out of you and then go give it here's another one matthew 7 1-5 matthew 7 1-5 judge not that you be not judged for with what judgment you judge you will be judged and what measure you use it will be measured back to you and why do you look at the speck in your brother's eyes but you do not consider the plank in your own or how can you say to your brother remove that speck from your eye and look at the plank not look at the plank that's in your own a hypocrite first remove the plank and the king james says beam telephone pole that's in your eye then you will clear see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye let me just say one word about this verse paul said that when someone fails restore such one in meekness lest you too be tempted i could stand here and tell you five stories will not take the time of ministers who cut down other people privately and two years later got caught in the same thing three years later because what god said was this okay so you want to condemn a man who's already repented i remember in 1988 when my friend i'll call his name jim baker the charlotte paper it was a one-time incident that happened he already got counseling he had already repented he our years he'd already repented and somebody brought up what was already forgiven too bad it's coming on you and it did and you know who i'm talking about come right back on another guy two years later so i'm not trying to say anything other than using this for an illustration do not look at a mother whose daughter got pregnant said my baby will never get pregnant because i bet you she will after you say that i'm gonna explain why in a moment don't look at someone that has a problem and say that'll never happen to me because god here's the reason god let it happen to you because you think you're above it happening to you you're not being meek about the person's problem you're not saying to yourself y'all better be careful because this could happen to any of us oh not me no well i'm sanctified yeah sanctified right let's just see how sanctified you are when the devil hits you with it you're tracking with me that's why when all of my preacher friends i have five friends that fell into a female problem i have never downed one i've never talked bad about one i've never gone behind their back and talk okay are you tracking with me i'm not going to do it i'm not going to do it if they steal money from the church and have to go to prison for a couple years i'm not going to do it i'm not going to do it if they end up taking some kind of medicine they get addicted to i'm not going to do it you know why because i don't want to judge somebody and end up with their trouble [Applause] so best thing for you to do when you hear people just yapping and say you know what ain't nobody got time for that do what my black sister did on youtube anybody got time for that no just look at them and say you know what i don't want to hear it you're not going to corrupt me with your opinion you're not going to corrupt me with your rumors you're not going to corrupt me with you in your windows you're not going to contract me with with information because what if it's misinformation okay let's go to the next one ready i'm telling you if you'll listen to me this will help you look at somebody right now and just say it'll help you if you listen say here's a big one matthew 12 36-37 but i say to you that for every idle word men may speak well this is heavy this will make you want to put tape on your mouth really seriously just they will give an account now that word is an accounting of a uh i'm going to say it this way in modern a tax agent coming in to take account of your books to see where you spent the money that's the word if you will give an account of it in the day of judgment now which judgment would that be i told you it didn't that would be the bema for by your words you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned romans 14 10-13 let me go ahead and tie this one in i'll tie the next two in romans 14 why do you judge your brother why do you show contempt for your brother for we must all stand before the judgment seat of christ for it's written as i live says the lord every knee shall bow to me and every tongue shall confess to god so that each of us shall give an account there's the word of himself to god therefore let us not judge one another anymore but to rather resolve this not to put a stumbling block to cause to cause a fall in our brother's way let me explain to you why that stumbling block to cause a person to fall is important if you have five kids and you're coming home from church and you sit at the table and with your husband you discuss a church problem with someone then you will turn those kids against that person i've taught you this years ago and half of them didn't pay attention to what i said so let me say it again for the folks that did pay attention god help me i feel the holy ghost deep there are people adults who have children 8 10 12 15 years of age but especially earlier who take an offense at a church and they use their children as pawns we're not going back there the kids sit at the table and cry and you got an attitude and i want to tell you what jesus said about you whether you're a mom or a dad and you've taken offense but you want to your problem is ego and pride and god hates it the only reason you're not letting your kids get involved with the ministry is because you're too proud to let them get involved because you want to be the boss and you want to be the big chief and i'm going to tell you because i've watched it for 46 years in my daddy's church every parent that ever did that regretted it when the kids turned 18 because they all left church and never came back you offended them and you offended them while they're young and i'm going to go buy a bunch of millstones so if you want to come by ma'am or sir i'll give you a millstone and you can do what jesus said it's better for you to tie a millstone around your neck and cast yourself into the sea than to offend a little one and that includes your own children not just somebody else's when are we going to mature and go back and read what jesus said and do what jesus said we want holy ghost fallout camp meeting signs and wonders and gifts and we wonder why we don't have real blessings it's because we're not obeying the very basics of what the lord jesus christ said to us oh come on somebody [Applause] you got to be very careful mom and dad manipulating your kids because of your offense matthew 12 36 37 every idol word that word there is useless worthless and it can actually according to strong's it can it can translate as a word that has no life in it you can say what you wish but everybody in this building has at some point used idle words the only way to get that canceled at the judgment is if you have absolutely talked bad about someone is for you to go face to face and apologize to them and say i am so sorry and that's the only way the blood of jesus can do it is a face to face to where you don't have to answer at judgment because i'm telling you now if you don't get it straightened up now you absolutely will and here's the thing that i believe you will face the person that you talked about and jesus will say why this may not be on the same subject i'm on but a pastor who now has over 400 churches many many years ago daniel told me this we know who the pastor is you know him i said why did he want so many churches because i said when he started in the ministry he had a vision of the judgment seat he saw jesus in the bema asking him why didn't you do what i told you to do and he answered jesus i didn't have the money and i didn't have the help and jesus said to him why didn't you ask me i had both why didn't you ask me why you asked me for the money and why you asked me for the people and he started churches and has is it 400 or is it his goal is 400 he's got foreign he's got churches all over the world all because he finally had a vision and he asked jesus give me the money and give me the people and he's never done without with 400 churches there's no listen to me listen to me there is no excuse there is no excuse when you go there when he asked you why didn't you and i'm going to get to that in a minute we haven't got to the heavy part yet i'm almost there seriously okay do not put us do not put do not put a stumbling block in a brother's way here's what he's saying here if i am offended at pam and i go to jake and talk negative about pam i have just put a stumbling block in his way toward pam that's what he's talking about quit putting a stumbling block in people's way by judging and condemning and backbiting and then now you have caused all those people to stumble i had never going back there i don't ever want to hear him preach again i don't ever want to hear her do this again i don't want to be associated you know what you did they don't they do not get that way till somebody puts a stumbling block down trust me people don't just normally get that way they've ran their mouth and talked so much that they've laid stumbling blocks for people and can i tell you something if that person goes to hell the blood's on your hand that's what the bible says in ezekiel you will have blood dripping from your hand of a person in god that's so serious help me jesus john 5 29-30 i can of myself do nothing as i hear i this is jesus talking let me say it again i can let myself do nothing as i hear i judge my judgment is righteous because i do not seek my own will but the will of my father who sent me now watch this i can do nothing of myself as i hear i judge say it with me as i hear i judge what does that mean by your words or you're justified by your words that condemn meaning ready when he judges you he doesn't just look at a book and say oh you did this and this and this that's nice that's your works he judges your works by a book of works in heaven you gave somebody a cup of cold water you got a reward you went to the prayer meeting you became an intercession you got to work so he judges your works by the books but he judges you by your words and he knows them all and so you will either be condemned and i'll explain that in a moment or released by what he heard god said to israel one time i preached a message on this i heard you murmur in your tents and you displeased me we see the murmuring at the rock we see the murmuring after the red sea incident we see the murmuring at the gold calf but that's not what god was watching god was watching what they were saying in private people think they can say or do anything with no penalty that no one knows but them every word action indeed is being recorded in heaven you know this should shake you up a little bit seriously this should make you think i hope after this night you guard your heart and your mouth and what you do i'll get to that in a minute he he what he hears he judges you were justified or condemned by your words he went as far as to say that the queen of sheba this is the woman who saw king solomon in the old testament would stand at the day of judgment judging nations jesus said listen to this one the men who were burnt up in sodom and gomorrah would stand on the this is jesus stand at the day of judgment to condemn his entire generation for if the men of sodom had seen the miracles they would have repented in sackcloth and ashes other people at your judgment will stand at your judgment knowing what you said and did is everybody listening to me i'm not making this up this is really heavy this is really heavy here's a powerful revelation now we're going to get to the heavy part give me about 10 minutes maybe 15 at the most first timothy 5 24-25 i saw this i have known this verse was here but i revisited it three days ago and i want you to listen to me and i want to answer a question some of you may have some men's sins are clearly evident preceding them to the judgment but those of some men follow later meaning after they die they never get exposed on earth likewise the good works of some are clearly evident meaning here on earth and cannot be hidden in other words what they're doing everybody hears the good things they're doing and they hear about it okay so i'm gonna i'm gonna and please let me say this if i if i make a statement this could have been a statement i made 30 years ago 40 years ago please don't read into stuff people here i bet he's talking about this and that no listen to what i'm saying i have asked the lord in my ministry in 45 years why did you let that person get away with saying what they did about me when it was not true and god spoke to me and said i didn't and he said this to me just because they don't answer while they're living doesn't mean they're not going to answer at the bema and i'm telling you when he told me that it settled my spirit for years it settled my spirit there was a group of drug dealers in 1981 that wanted to shut down my revival because in three counties there were not enough kids to sell their pills in the high schools one night one high school one night 450 kids showed up from the pulaski county high school and god decked them all in the holy ghost on the floor all 450 and the drug dealers could not take it i found this out ten years later from a former dealer who was now a christian he said perry you know how they got you out of town and i won't go this is on the end i'm gonna be very careful they got you out of town by taking this person who had a position and telling lies to the pastor about you so the pastor would shut the meeting down i said i saw that guy come by twice and meet with the pastor so help me i did remember that pam they told us all that 10 years later and they said we knew that the only way to get you out of town was start lies and rumors and i'm telling you seven lives were started on me i hit the pastor i'm going to perry is going to start a church perry split i mean i heard all kinds of craziness and they did it to try to run me out of town and you know what they shut the meeting down and i was run out of town in the middle of the greatest revival ever saw a blind woman that had her optic nerve burnout was healed a man that was a professor from a university and translated a message in tongues from a dead language signs and wonders were going so crazy and the enemy didn't like it so what did he do he formed a strategy and the craziness of it all was the people in that church couldn't discern it was the devil couldn't discern it could not discern it my biggest frustration as a minister is to sit for 10 years in a building and preach to people and say look out for this hey man whoa shut up you think the enemy's going to let us get by with having warrior fest without trying to attack us come on brother preach it and the very people who shouted to amen left that's right yes i said it and nobody comes to this woman or me when a bunch of mess is going on and tells us what's happening till three months later i'm sorry but i've getting it off of me now once and for all that it's over nobody and me and this woman right here could have put a stop to probably 80 percent of it if somebody would have come and told us something so i have had to live this i've had to live forgiving i've had to live not trying to judge i've had to i have gone through this since i was a kid preacher at 18 years of age when for six months demonic spirits would come into my house and curse me and i saw them and i thought god do i want this or not and they tried to run me out when i was 18 years of age of my own ministry and terrify me from preaching i'm not making this up i've told this for 30 years and i've gone through crazy stuff i've preached messages that people misrepresented i told stories and preached messages i got into the hebrew roots and my denomination didn't understand i've been through hell and back for this gospel but i want to tell you something that's watching i want to tell you something that's sitting here i'm still running this race and we're about to have a move of the holy ghost this weekend glory to the name of the son of the living god [Applause] so here's the thing i want you to get i want you to get this i feel so relieved all that thing i've been carrying for years it's gone now i'm serious it's just like you'll lift it i just need to say it one time and just get it done okay it's done it's over it's buried never again [Applause] okay track it with me oh my lord i got to show you something here because this is real important this is i'll get to this vision just a minute i promise you i'll always remember this someone murders someone they can't find who it is you'll know one day to my physical murder you'll know one day if people who did you damage doesn't matter if it's a doesn't matter if it's a family member relative or church person there's a lot of people that can do that just remember this if you know your intent was right your intent god sees the intent people can't judge your intent only god can uh don't don't get don't get too hung up on it right now because if they don't come to you and get it right now oh trust me they'll have tears coming down their face he said there's no tears in heaven and why does it say he wipes away tears if there's no tears why and why is the rich man in hell weeping why is there weeping in hell don't tell me you cannot cry outside of your physical body just remember the day paul said the day will declare it so just lay back keep doing what god says keep obeying him and realize either now or later god will take care of it is that a good word for somebody here that's been through something okay now this is for the house i almost would cut the internet off here but everybody's going to get mad if i do so i don't want to have anybody mad at me because that they need to hear this probably because this is really a good word for the house but i want you to hear it because this is what the lord gave me uh ephesians jonathan do you have ephesians six seven through nine if not it's okay serve wholeheartedly as if you were serving the lord not men whatever you do you do unto the lord right you greet to the lord you park to the lord come on ladies where is the wind of hope you clean bathrooms as unto the lord yeah somebody's got to do it imagine that what would we do with that you guys i did it for five years in my dad's church hallelujah he's the janitor because you know that the lord reward everyone for whatever good he does whether he is slave or free here's what he says giving food you get a reward giving water isn't that simple giving a glass of water in the name of the lord is someone who's thirsty you don't lose your reward matthew 10 42 your works are going to be tried in heaven by fire some will come forth as people's works would hay or stubble they receive no reward others works will come forth as gold silver and precious stones if their intent was right their motive was right they did it as unto the lord i'm talking about you nursery workers you are you will be rewarded because you had the ministry of helps it is a biblical ministry ministry of helps when you when look if i was sitting where you were and they said we need volunteers i i'm a busy man but i would jump to say let me do it because i don't have a preaching ministry or a teaching ministry and i'm not traveling but let me do something if some if it's not so much about handing out water because i get a reward for the ministry of helps that's what you that's what i'm that's what i want to get across to this body that what you do at ramp conferences and voe conferences what you do you might think it's insignificant first corinthians 3 13-15 each one's works will become clear for the day we'll declare it because it will be revealed by fire and the fire will test each one's work of what sort it is if any man's work which he has built on endures and by saying doors i'm going to give you the revelation here in a minute he will receive a reward if any man's work is burnt he will suffer loss but himself will be saved as though by fire now i want to tell you what happened while i was preaching here at the summit it was saturday night when all those people got filled with the holy spirit and i went to get up to preach now i want to say this to you anyone who's known me this man has known me since i was about 19 18 well about 19 i'd say and uh probably as long kathy's known me for all the way back to daisy how old was i then 18 19 some about 19 probably probably around there but listen to me very careful this is important anyone that knows me knows this even my enemies and i have enemies if they if they if you ever ask my enemy say one good thing about perry stone they will say well there's one thing about him he can hear he does hear from the lord i've had people look at me who didn't even like him say well there's one thing about you we know you do hear from the lord i said well thank you that's the highest compliment you can give me really forget the preaching you don't like it but i mean how wonderful it is to say i can hear from the lord i heard from the lord and i want to say this to this congregation this is why i've almost talked thought about taking this offline because i think this is just for this house but then i feel like somebody might be watching who needs to hear it where they're at i want everybody to who was at the prophetic summit volunteering raise your hand oh thank you the lord gave me a word for you now this is going to be very heavy this is not slanted toward any person i cannot think before god in heaven of one person that i'm thinking about right now who used to come here that this is about or that used to be a partner of our ministry that this is about or used to be a staff member this is about i can think of no one i'm just going to give you what the lord told me he said there are people here tonight perry that are going to take somebody else's crown and i almost said it that night and i thought oh lord you're going to have to help me with that and he said read what i said and this is this is what he gave me this week revelation 3 11 let no man take your crown i said okay tell me how it's possible here's what he said your crown is given for working giving giving your life for the gospel as a martyr preaching teaching or helping in a ministry you have five crowns that you can get listen to me a crown is a reward for faithfulness where you are planted because where you are planted is your divine assignment if you leave your divine assignment willfully and purposely choose now this i'm not talking about if the lord opens up a door for you that's this this is not the same thing if the lord has actually spoken to you to be do something different that's a whole different thing i'm saying if you so choose to say i'm done and you leave the place of your assignment what if you were supposed to be greeting at warrior fest and you see a little girl crying and she's going to kill herself that night i mean i'm an illustration and you say sweetheart what's wrong and you minister to her deliverance there and what if you're not there when the little girl walks in think of no stop and think about it for a minute what if in the parking lot someone is about to turn around they've had an argument maybe when they just said let's just not go to church and you they rolled the window down they said how are you doing and you're the person to smile at them and say it's so good to see you i feel like the lord told me to tell you that the enemy's trying to fight you all but you're about to get and you gave you gave them the word that saved their marriage when god touched them what if you're not in the parking lot let me just tell you this before the lord you've heard me say it in teasing and i do say it's easy but i say it seriously you know many hours a day i've worked in 46 years no less than a today sometimes 16 hours till i see a computer screen in front of me i go to bed watching i literally go to bed seeing words on a computer screen where i can't sleep for 46 years actually since there's been computers 46 years of minutes just work work work work work you think i'm doing that for any other game i'm on a salary i don't make any more money do i make do i make more at the end of a month rick if i preach more no i have a set salary by my board of directors i'm not preaching for money if i was preaching for money i take a royalty on every book i've ever written i could be a millionaire you know what all my book money tape money all those books all that stuff back there that goes back into the ministry not me voe pays that pays a 14 million dollar bill a year all that stuff we do offerings do i take up offerings for myself no what do i do give them back to the ministry but you know why i do that i'm gonna tell you why i do it because when i leave this world i want to hear somebody say well done one reason one reason man i could choose to do it the other way and i chose not to when i was 18. and rick's on my board and been on my board from the beginning he'll tell you rick am i telling the truth in the night in 1980s my salary was 18 000 a year yeah it was it was we we made you we just afraid the irs was gonna come here and talk to see where your money's going to you wouldn't take any i wouldn't take any money you know why i didn't take any money though because i lived on the road 250 days a year in other people's homes and driving to places and 11 week revivals so they're taking me out to eat they're they're taking care of me while i'm there i didn't need the money and they almost quit the board trying to give me a pay raise from 18. pam am i telling they're going to think i'm crazy but it's the truth you met 18 i met 18 that's what we lived off of in the late 80s and early 90s and finally they a guy said you you have to make his his income is increasing he has to take more of a salary right is that is that what happened am i bragging no but i'm telling you why i did that because i want a reward in heaven i am reward in heaven oriented so so can i say something to you 45 years of having misunderstanding misaligned you've heard criticism cathy all the way from daisy god when i was at daisy and 500 baptist got the holy ghost the baptist churches were trying to run me out of town back then that's really true it really was the people were loving it the pastors were like oh we might lose members and that really happened to me but you see what i why should i be angry and stand at the bema angry when i want god to reward me and i don't want nobody else getting what i've worked for for 45 years you kidding me do i want somebody else to step in and just get what i've worked for for all these years no because that crown does not fade away and you say well the crown doesn't mean anything to me think about this those elders have crowns and they cast them down before the feet of the lord and worship him what if you're walking around without a crown you have nothing to lay before him which he looks at you and just said what a pity you lived your life and did nothing that's right that's why that's why when we start these conferences and i see those ladies in that cafeteria giving out the water i just said god you can bless them down here but bless them real good at the bema tommy and that team's sweating in the parking lot parking cars and sometimes people aren't the friendliest when they're driving a long way and i'm saying keep up tommy tommy keep it up hey guys keep it up you know why every car you park you performed a ministry function that was needed every older woman that you helped get on that cart it's a ministry function that was needed you don't need to think it's just the preachers and the teachers in the five-fold ministry that get the rewards that is absolutely not true you'll give somebody a cup of cold water in his name the bible went as far to say give to prophets you get a prophet's reward give to a righteous man you give a righteous man's reward he watches everything you do and it spooked me because god spoke to me and said there are people that were assigned right here and for whatever reason they're not here and they're not doing their assignment they're not doing it i'm not talking about everybody because everybody wasn't a sign i'm saying there are some that were assigned and because they're not doing it somebody else let me explain the reward this way let's just say you were supposed to work at the children's church you love children that was your ministry and you worked now you quit you just man god you quit mad anywhere i don't care what church good you just got man quit guess who goes guess who's going to get your reward the lady that took your place can i prove it to you if any person's work endure to the end then they shall receive a reward you have to be faithful till the which is the end of your life or the end until god maybe people do move they move to another area that's fine but i'm not talking about everybody but i'm talking about if your assignment if you fail because of offense bitterness and anger i'm gonna give you the vision everybody for the vision can i go on just a few more minutes please i think the front rows with me i've lost the rest of you or something i don't know okay on july 5th at 3 10 i was listening to music and i got in a zone i got in a zone i had not been in in quite some time almost between heaven and earth zone and i had a vision of a doorway it was a doorway made of stone of rock and above the doorway were written the words the tares are choking the wheat and i said lord give me an explanation of that he said you have to understand that there are not always bad people but there are misled people they get misled doesn't mean they're evil or bad but they get misled and he said this not all that say to me lord will enter the kingdom but they that do the will of my father so i went back to the wheat and tear and i realized what he was saying the sower sows the seed it falls upon ground that chokes the seed hears the phrase and they become unfruitful so what he said to me is there are people who have been misled and they're pulling wheat and choking it not like this they're choking the life out of it they're choking the vision out of it they're choking the joy out of it they're choking the peace out of it and those people are now unfruitful they have no fruit this does not mean you have to be in full time ministry look if your legs are tired and you can't park or let me tell you about this brother let's look at this this brother sits in a wheelchair and comes to prayer you listen to me he comes to prayer there are people that can walk who don't come to prayer he comes to prayer in this chair and prays with the rest of us guess what he's faithful he's faithful and you know what that means because he's faithful he will endure to the end if he keeps doing that that's what that's his his ministry is to pray and to encourage people that's his he does not you do not have to be in a pulpit or a rogue choir or a band member to have a reward all you have to do is be in the place where god has called you and do what is needed to be done i hope i'm encouraging somebody here right now we have 10 conferences a year probably more coming knowing karen and me both we may end up with the conference a month who knows he'd just say oh jesus who knows altar workers god bless the altar team we're going to wear you out this week you ready for it geo you ready for it greeters parking attendants people feeding people people with the youth people with the children cleaners they're all needed we call you a volunteer but you're actually a team member and we call you volunteer because you voluntarily serve without renumeration but i want to come by and tell you you have renumeration you just don't have it earthly it's waiting for you when you get there that's a word i'm supposed to give this body tonight be faithful tuesday night be faithful you never know the one person you're going to see you just saved their life by by living with loving on them you never know the song you're going to sing that somebody needs to you just don't know what good you're doing very quickly one story and i'm done we're going to have an altar call and i don't want anybody to leave because we're going to do two altar calls one will be a salvation come back to the lord after call and god spoke to me and said i want you to spend about four minutes to talk about the double blessing that's coming and you're gonna pray for everybody who has been faithful to get in on it excites me okay remind me to give them my report what was i going to say i'm getting i'm going three different ways god help me god help tony scott tony scott was pastoring in ohio still does been there for 40 years he was about eight to ten years into it and it was a polish catholic town so they weren't used to pentecostals or charismatics lester sumrall came to preach for him and said tony said well i've been here for about eight years and we gain people we lose people we gain people you know tony would lose 100 people at a time i'd go preach for him place would be packed come back the next year 200 people missing 200 new people there so what happened he said 200 left he lost 50 to 100 to 200 every year it was it was funny got to be funny he said ain't funny to me they said they they're just hard to deal with up here you know so tony asked lester he says lester i'm thinking about going to another state maybe like california and just starting a church he said when am i going to get my harvest and lester looked at tony pointed his finger at him and said six months after you leave this church the harvest is coming he said what is that supposed to mean he said all the seed you're planting has to come in eventually so you're going to plant all this and not get a harvest and the next guy's going to step in and get everything you worked for and tony that was 30 years ago and he's still at the same church right faithful everybody touch your neighbor say faithful okay i said touch your neighbor and say faithful remind me when i get to the double blessing prayer bow your head we're going to pray right here bow your head i'm going to ask one question before we do the double blessing prayer is there anyone here tonight after hearing this message that says perry i need you to pray for me i got a lot of bad seed out there i got a lot of bad deeds out there and i want god to help me to be a better person and i want him to touch my heart raise your hand in jesus name oh thank you so much i see hands going up hands going up all over the place hands going up yes thank you thank you everybody stand together in jesus name stand together okay lift your hands i'm going to start praying for you and those that lifted your hands okay i want you to pray a prayer to god open your mouth and tell him lord you know you can say something lord i've heard this message and i raised my hands and i want you to help me lord i've got to be a better person i've got to be a better pro i've got to guard my mouth i've got to guard my heart let's pray put your hands up everybody right now and pray and pray out loud father in the name of jesus as we as we have prayed this prayer uh for the for the people and there was about 20 hands that went up that is worth this entire message those 20 hands going up is worth this entire message ha father we ask you in the name of jesus the son of the living god to let there be a breakthrough for every man and woman who is standing to their feet right now lord this is a strong word and it's a word that i had to get out of my spirit and it's done and i've said the things i feel like i said everything i'm supposed to say and i'm asking you to bless the people lord god who are obedient to you and faithful to you in jesus name i pray that the spirit of god is going to overwhelm them and overcome every issue in their life guard our heart put your hand on your heart father guard your heart guard our hearts with all diligence for out of it precedes the issues of life don't let anything come into our heart that would be a hindrance lord now put your hand up towards your lips father guard our mouth i need help there lord i do you know that father i ask you in jesus name that when i would want to say something i shouldn't say that you'll just restrain me and check my spirit and i pray god that the words i speak will be like apples of gold pictures of silver that they'll be words of faith and words of healing words of love god i thank you for bringing us through trials and tribulations i thank you for bringing this ministry and the people here through many trials and tribulations but i do know heavenly father that from this moment on after this message that we want a heavenly reward we want to do we want to be faithful in little things we want to do something for the kingdom it may how's this terminator doing that's that before your faith and he told me he said i'm gonna get up there to visit y'all he said we're busy down here in atlanta but i got to come see you guys i said well come on up bro and we've been friends for a long time but he had talked to me on the phone after he talked to me the lord said to me i'm going to give you double remember me telling you all that in prayer all right i had two issues and i'm going to go ahead and tell you what they were i would have never said it publicly i have a esophageal problem that the doctor biopsies every year and it looked bad and it looked like it could be it looked like it couldn't i don't think it is but it could be cancer because something has turned right down there where your stomach is all right i needed a double blessing i had a very large prostate and the doctor said we're not trying to scare you but the numbers could go into that you've got prostate cancer been real weak lately and you know that kind of thing so i got my barrett's esophagus back no cancer in the esophagus okay wait a minute i gotta have a double blessing i told god i told god this morning you told me double and my my psa you guys know what that is right was over 5'4 which that's high how this happened in like a week two or three weeks it dropped to 2-1 and he said he said i don't need to see you for another year i've got a double healing hey hey glory to his name what i'm going to say is not about giving off because we're not going to do that in the bible it says that some 30 right some 60 some 100. where do i get the idea of double if the thief be found he shall restore double whatever you've been going through that the enemies try to take your peace your joy your your family your finances it doesn't matter if the thief be exposed he has to get back double now whatever that double is in your life i don't know what that double could be whatever that double is if you can say before the lord hey hey hey perry i've tried my best to be faithful we're going to pray a double prayer i'm telling you i felt it today this morning i get up early i'll know that if you watch facebook i'm up at three four o'clock in the morning but i got up here this morning and i heard the lord say tonight you decree based on the book of job you shall decree a thing to be established that everybody who has tried to be faithful through all this covet mess and all the messes in your life and family whatever it might be and you keep standing it's time for god to do something for you i'm serious i'm not playing games i don't play with the holy ghost you know that i fear the lord and we're going to decree doubles so everybody that says perry i really believe i've done my best to be faithful hey come up here give me your double he's going to open doors people are going to call you that have not called you before people are going to contact you there's just going to be some things but in the next 90 days you'll be able to say guess what happened everything started doubling okay so now i'm going to tell you how i am if i'm in a church and i'm having a situation that could be me i'll go ahead and claim it if it ain't me okay i'm just telling you i'm just telling you i'll sit out there and say no really because i'll say you know what lord i want to get in on that let me get in on that word but there's three of you in particular and i want you to write this down and put it somewhere if you feel like you're one of them and even if you're claiming it watch 90 days what would that be october it's about would that be about the time of the main event okay we're going to know by the time of the main event that's pretty cool hallelujah oh yes now repeat this after me from your heart raise your hands say this in that says whoever sends you retain they're retained unto them whoever sends you remit they're remitted that's about forgiving people now this is a very heavy word it's very detailed let me ask feeling like it's a father [Music] i'm feeling more toward leaning in my spirit toward a toward a male a man but it's an older gentleman he is not a bad man but he is a man that has not obeyed the lord in his life does that make sense he's always i'm going to describe him to you so you won't have a doubt he's always been very outspoken he's always been tell it like it is there are no gray areas in his life and he lets you know it okay i'm gonna get so specific you'll know this is not a vague word he's always had a tough time forgiving people because he'll say wow yeah i'll let it go but down inside you kind of know that he still holds on to it he needs a healing [Music] okay he needs a healing but he's not getting it now i am not going to debate theology with you on this i'm not going to argue with you over this i know what the spirit of god told me [Music] if you will stand in the gap on his behalf it's not that he's so arrogant and pride it's just he just don't know how who am i the lord said he was raised really rough by a rough dad his dad you know hardcore hardcore just a dad that used profanity something just so he's raised tough so he has this outward kind of tough real man real man anybody will look at himself he's a real man he's a real patriot he's a real man he's a real man you know that kind that kind of man but the problem is for him to cry it's like not manly to him like if he were to break down he would say well i got to quit that this is crazy and it's how he's raised does that make sense to what i'm saying i want to make sure you're getting it so for him to try to just humble himself and say i forgive this and i let this go god said for you to stand in the gap for him and say god he really doesn't know how to do this his upbringing has made him he doesn't he doesn't know how he really doesn't he can say it with his mouth but in his heart so i'm standing in the gap and i'm asking you in jesus name to remit that in his heart because he doesn't quite know how to do it miss beverly said to me one time how many know who this barrel is mrs beverly said to me one time and i guess i could go and say this that she was raised by a really tough abusive mother she never could please her she never could make her happy and she said she never really heard her mother love her or tell her she loved her so she went she said when me and ralph we were having some problems and i went for counseling and i said we need some counseling so he went with the counselor she said i've never heard my mother say i love you i'm never good enough for her so the counselor said beverly if i give you all the money i have will you take it today and she said i don't want your money i got money she says no track with me you know he said just just kind of go along with me if i give you say okay so he uh said let me get my wallet reached in his wallet i said good gracious i don't have anything in my wallet he said let me check my checkbook he said up you're not gonna believe this the checkbook's down to zero i i don't have any he said let me see if i got anything in the pocket he pulled out two pennies he said well you take this it's all the money i've got he handed her the two pennies and she took it he said let me illustrate that your mother didn't know how to love and all she could ever give you was two cents wasn't much never hardly told you she left the way she was raised she never knew she was never given love so she didn't know how to love so just take the little bit she gave you and beverly said i got instantly healed from all my bitterness toward my mother when that man said that this is what i'm saying about this man now i'm not going to ask you who it is or does it make sense to anybody but if it makes sense to anybody pray this prayer with me right now we're going to pray if there's anything i know father i know when i get a word of knowledge that's that's that detail so whoever this is has heard it and they're going to stand in the gap and call his name out before you and they're going to say father his upbringing makes it difficult in his heart for him to know how to do this so i stand in the gap and i ask you to release his heart from this that he's gone through in his life and from any kind of bitterness that's there release him we stand in the gap to let him go and that when we do this we're going to see him again and it's going to be different lord this is what i'm going to ask you to do i want you to heal him if we confess our faults once another prayer for another we can be healed heal him and then let this son or daughter tell him this is what happened in church on tuesday night that's why god touched you hey hallelujah let's raise our hands and say praise the lord go ahead and worship him for just a little bit god let this double portion blessing rest on all the faithful people faithfulness faithfulness you want us all you want us to do is be faithful that's all be faithful in our field be faithful in our call be faithful to the place you've called us to god i stand right here and say i release everybody i release every word spoken over me i release every word that was said in this town whether true words false words misled i don't care what kind of words they are god i i refuse to get an offense because i want the reward in heaven so god release my heart in jesus name lord i pray for all the people that are here i pray for those that even aren't here you'll bless them where they're at god i pray that you'll help people lord wherever they're at wherever they're called wherever
