hey good morning everybody happy sunny Tuesday I really do not know much about the greater Seattle area and I really did not know that this region it is famous for a particular food item teriyaki I did not know this is a teriyaki is apparently like what she steak is to Philadelphia teriyaki is to Seattle I think since I've been here I ate a1 teriyaki place like by accident or something like it wasn't even planned and yesterday Jessica messaged me thank you so much Jessica and she said I gotta go try out this teriyaki place called teriyaki plus it's in Kirkland so that's what I'm going now I don't think I've ever driven somewhere with a sole purpose of eating teriyaki like you see them at all the malls and whatever you know the people giving out free samples like that's what I equate teriyaki to just stuff that's not very good [Music] [Music] beef teriyaki in that gilze can you do like a small set of garlic spicy chicken like a small water where it your daughter send me the message oh so jessica is your daughter you got to disclaim that next time Jessica this cake every day I appreciate that thank you thank you thank you I [Music] just kind of set up this little impromptu picnic area here because I was gonna go eat in my car but this this dishes actually turned out waste sauce here then I thought it was going to be so I'm just set up on a set of the row here so just a super impromptu picnic oh they weren't lying these are good dumplings this is a lot was kind of complaining about but I had the gills up from the ramen place was a little too soft he's are fried perfectly when I fall crunchy skins good fillings trim all right but maybe Ben I never seen teriyaki as saucy as dish like this is like a whole different breed of teriyaki I mean you can see the little bits of chard on there from the grill and that is really important because the yaki in teriyaki literally means grill so if you don't get a nice smoky flavor then why even waste it still makes weeks right I'm not a self-proclaimed teriyaki expert what that is good the sauce is sweet you can definitely taste a fire from the grill occasionally a subtle low crunch from the supercharged parts with a sesame seeds really rich umami flavor Wow it is definitely rich no wonder - give me this is the side of cucumbers when I first saw this I'm like what why would any a set it is but yeah this is this is necessary the extra churl corsage there's definitely none you - oh that flavor packs a punch mmm they pickle the cucumber just a little bit come on that's crap just like eating really flavorful Korean barbeque or something your taste buds needs a sort of a little break and these are really perfect for that and the chicken wine kind of looks like like a general shows chicken it's a lot of hot of juice in there it kind of does taste like a rendition or something similar to a General Tso's chicken my sweet really spicy sesame is a nice touch I'm actually glad I got this with the beef because it really brings another layer of flavor is a different kind of sweet I feel like this stuff my teriyaki it's really good it's not something I feel like I could eat a ton of even though it has a crazy addictive flavor and they give me this little garlic dipping sauce and try that with the teriyaki Oh excellent oh that sauce is everything I love the sauce I want every inch of my teriyaki and my fish to be covered with the sauce I was kind of afraid that the teriyaki is already so flavorful the sauce is gonna make something that's already seems too much even more than too much but no adds an element of creaminess huge garlic flavor hmm it almost transforms the teriyaki to a completely different dish Jessica Terry prints a bottle that stuff and give me like you know I don't want to be greedy so like ten bottles the sauce is so good I even kind of wish that broccoli was here so I can take it dunk it in here and see if it makes that disgusting thing edible don't pay dumpling into the garlic sauce I'm not even being shy about this I just want like the dumpling to go swimming in there not even like a subtle little dunk I want to cover that was almost hot oil dipping sauce level underground kitchen [Music] thank you [Music] pause it graph oh this is spicy oh I love it lips are on fire this will burn you up and all the best ways possible sweet and tons like Michael like a bomb of heat but it's still now like I'm bearable this will definitely wake you up I was sleepy driving it over here but hunger percent awake now we've seen this career in Fried Chicken before is boneless sour cream and onion it's like a lace flavor potato chip but a Korean fried chicken skin is the best I'm about one two three four five six wings in you can't really feel my mouth right now it reminds me of the first time I ever kissed someone I really feel my lips but stomach's happy gotta get some bubble tea like if you act fast it doesn't have to be too painful later on I love this place 85 degrees Oh another scary shot me freak a macho coupon butter rose milk tea hmm oh that is yummy yeah soothing my stomach I don't know what it is I need time there's a rose flavor anything I want it oh it's so pretty in this area look at this not the FedEx truck but it's so pretty still covered in snow we're gonna continue our tasting every single don't we shop in the greater Seattle area right now I'm in some part of Siena I'm not really sure what it is there's a really good place that somebody told me about I can't find it we're gonna do another episode of car hood dining sap soup here and it's just a matter of time before I spill it all over my car so apparently this place makes their own hot oil and vinegar [Music] all those recover I think these are the beef dumplings mm-hmm beef and bell pepper couple ingredients you don't see a lot in dumplings oh look at so much choosing here just leaking out can have that ah never sucked on a dumpling before little hot oil a little vinegar oh yeah it's good it really is the first time I've ever had a bell pepper in a dumpling look at this look how much shoes hmm oh my god I'm just getting hot oil all over my car and that's okay because it makes it a hot commodity Monsieur Sheila come on choose this losing out of the dumpling dumpling choose is kind of tripping on my car hood as well and ever have I wanted to lick the hood of a car so bad in my life delicious who knew when a dumpling hugs a bell pepper and it would be so magical this I think is the buns the beauty of a gray bun is really on the bottom a glorious little seer [Music] it's not as juicy as two dumpling got that nice little crispy sear on the bottom from the fantastic crunch of the onions all folded inside a pillowy fluffy bun I mean the dough really there's melting your mouth I don't know what's melting more that the fat from the meat or the dough itself well it's really cool is that they gave me a side of soup we were told me that this is cooked like seven hours I didn't really want soup noodles I just wanted to taste her Brock mmm this is really done flavor is so deep super meeting and peppery oh this is actually I'm so glad I asked for this this soup is so good oh and I bet this will taste even better if it took a dunk in the soil first I'm talking in the soup mm-hmm oh yeah [Music] the sting has officially became a soup dumpling one more dunk I really love this soup so much especially because they're not afraid to add the white pepper which makes any soup even more delicious and this is their beef and pull noodles aah oh no aah there's just kind of ruined this meal a little bit such a good meal you had to show up like it's like that party guest that you never invite anywhere that just randomly renders his ugly head I mean I know you're Bruce Lee's evil twin but doesn't mean you can just show up uninvited aah there's even bigger one I think they're like multiplying in my noodle oh there's the there's the parent this is definitely one of the sauces noodles I've ever seen look at the big chunks of beef dinosaur one of the best noodles I've had system in Seattle that's really good these noodles are th icc thick I bet if you put a champagne glass on the end of this noodle it won't break the internet I mean you can tell they'd be doing them lungis on another one she's like he never end and look on the bottom it's got sprouts I mean look at the sauce this thing is definitely incredibly flavorful Wow yeah you gotta try this I'm really glad I got the soup on the side it almost feels like you need a bit of soup to kind of wash it down with wow this is really magical this place come here and get this oh my god welcome to the great dumpling dunk I wish I got a bigger order of this I get maybe 10 helpings of this right here [Music] I got super my arm and on my car excuse me why I lick myself and possibly my car my soul is so happy right now on to the next dumpling place if I ever do have a baby I wanted to be like this guy born hugging a dumpling my heart my wife though I like this dessert place way lotion I got that young shoots along outdoor seating I like it it's like everything mango there's a mango pudding mingle ice cream mingle Sabo and I just dropped one chopstick you guys ever heard that one chopstick diet thinking eat whatever you want but you can only use one chopstick oh it's on with three different types to dip this us [Music] it's like some kind of scallion dipping sauce mm-hmm I think I like these better dentine Typhon ward ozone they got more flavor to them more flavor and also that the meat doesn't feel like it's so soft I like the meat with a little chew hmm there's just a spot for me I like to pick up Irish not really crispy spicy nummy peppercorn so these are DeShawn's um bulb nice toasty bun looks like say this thing had a didn't put any sunscreen on and just set in the Sun too long just need just sprayed boiling liquid all over my lips Wow how much soup is in this thing porky juicy dumpling I think out of all the dumpling spots with little tiny soup dumplings that look like this this is my favorite place got to be careful you eating this now this dumpling will bite back you should never let your guard down around dumplings I mean dump Ling's three essentially little turds real dessert time [Music] I'm glad so many things are you today I've been so cloud like eating this is like catching a deliciously sweet snowflake on the tip of your tongue mmm that is really good problem 85 degrees good job on this this is my little oasis right here just a tiny little balcony but gives me a chance to sit out here every day eat some food do some meditation do some reading not exactly too private because balcony right over right over there at the most private place [Music] mm-hmm chuckle matchup butter or something no this is great bun soft filling softer mm-hm I just wash this balcony chocolate bun or something oh these are so good all these sponge it's like a chuckling Mundt or like a chocolatey bowel I like how it has a nice chew on the outside but inside just all soft and creamy well I don't like to see how I have to keep shifting this way because that the Sun is like invading my balcony and it's warming up my iced tea so about like two hours every single day the Sun basically takes over and I got to go inside which is pretty much now right there is one more dumpling I want to try it's something out of my fridge for a couple of weeks now I'm filming that ice cream show so I have all these ice cream my fridge I bought more Prince Street pizza my chuck is still dumpling whoa this is crazy this is so interesting it's like a little marble was like that thing that uh that was in the men in black you know the thing that controls the universe or whatever the defense system thing looks I'm about to eat that I have no idea what think about this I think it's good the outer skin it's like my favorite part about this super mochi ask even mochi DiMucci ask like Ultra mochi ask and we ensure a release this is really fragrant almost like a floral flavor and it's so nice what I don't like is that when you get to the inside I think it's beans or something mmm yeah so inside is mung beans okay so the floral fragrances is it's from the great you get that really almost like champagne bisque nice aroma right now it's like mum bean paste which is not bad I mean this is actually like after like the fourth one this is pretty good definitely worth the try pretty good into my dumpling day oh it's so sticky you know that it's like an alien egg I like it there was a lot of fun also it doesn't get dark here what's up like 9 p.m. now so today is long it's best thing I had today definitely those noodles oh my gosh so good best noodles I found in the Seattle area so far but of course I'm gonna keep looking I'm like the pokémon hunter or trainer of the pokemon trainer of noodles and dumplings
