TACK UP & HACK WITH ME...lazy day edition

[Applause] [Music] [Applause] hello everybody welcome back to my youtube channel so today's video is a lazy one i am gonna go for a hack i am not feeling the brightest i've got that sore throat cold thing that's going around it is not coronavirus i have tested i'm negative it's just a sore throat and i like i think coming into winter cold apparently it's going around at the minute and pretty much everybody i know has it so yes i am suffering not feeling myself a little bit tired feeling a little bit lazy so i'm gonna have a really nice chilled hack i'm gonna take you guys with me while i tack up sunny take him for a nice lap and hack around the field and kind of chat to you guys whilst i do so i'll share myself tacking up and just chat away with you guys so first things first we need to go get him in for the field because it's been a beautiful day he's been out all day and poor little baby we need to drag him in now to go for a walk but he's a bit chubby so we need to keep his keep his weight down as well so let's go get sunny in from the field and we'll start currently in my crocs because i left my boots down at the stable not the most practical footwear but is what it is ah so sunny's in his little paddock i can already see that he has got his fly mask off typical sunny hi sony not gonna lie i'm actually dreading the winter absolutely dreading when this is knee-deep mud that's gonna suck hi handstand oh you're even coming to me aren't you the best sonny's a paid actor guys who are you and what have you done with sunshine look at you what is this what is this silly boy oh good boy let's go come on dude as you guys can see sunny is only in a smallish paddock he is on a bit of weight watches because as you can see he's a bit of a puck chop so and also he's a nightmare if you give him too much space he goes loopy come starving like you've not been out all day yep yummy leaf come on i'm just going to put sonny in his bed for a moment when he's been in the field he's a bit weird about weighing outside so he might need a wee in a drink or just food because he's starved to death sonny do you need a wicket he normally has a way after being in the fields though in his beautiful bed by hunter wood shavings i'm not gonna lie i did just have a bit of a brain fart there because i took his head collar off and i should have just unclipped the lead rope but i told you guys i'm not i'm not with it today put that back on all right fatty come on you know come on you've been out all day clearly do not need a way so let's go excuse me doggie did you [Music] oh we're only going for a hack today so i'm going to leave his field boots on give him a quick flick let's hack him up and then we're gonna hop on and go this is what i call a lazy day clean it's practically just a little flick perk of having with horses at home is it hello is it no one sees and no one is going to judge me for looking messy so my mother always said we were never going to win best turned out you're a bit dusty though sonny somebody been rolling in the mud quick flick that's the dirt oh my goodness sonny oh you are filth pure fill okay hold okay attack and just throw it on let's trade in the crux for my old my good old faithfuls these are literally falling apart look at the back they're just so comfy stick the old faithfuls on let's grab some bridal saddle which as you can see i didn't take the saddle pad off from yesterday because i am lazy at the moment it's like that girl on x factor should call rachel i'm just lazy at the moment if you guys follow tick tock you'll you'll know that one i hope or i just look like a weirdo sonny chill do you want a sugar lump you fatty [Music] gonna give him a sugar lump look at his performance look at him all right i know people are gonna comment and be like that's a bad habit you shouldn't entertain it yeah i like it i think it's cute so here you can have a sugarloaf you're a very good boy if all you do is get demanding you can have a sugar honestly i just realized what a bad job i did of brushing look at this do you know what who cares it's it's a chill day nobody cares no one's gonna see no one's gonna know it's like that video it's like how will they know they're gonna now yeah none of you are allowed to judge me for my turnout today i pre-warned you that i was feeling ill so we're gonna just roll with it it's a hack without taking any videos other than this one so we move sonny would you would you just not do that thank you thank you that'll do there we go sunny don't breathe out when i'm doing your game he's literally breathing out well i did like to change my stirrups because my friend wrote in yesterday while i wrote teddy we uh counted up the field yesterday because it's a really good variety for the sunny he gets really bored i just put them the wrong way he gets really bored just doing dressage so with suddenly we like to jump him we like to catch him up the field we like to hack all the fun stuff and that helps his brain and his body doesn't it um as you can see my friend is quite a lot shorter than me so i'm gonna go [Music] let's down i don't know about you guys but it's a hate of mine when people just leave these out just flopping not to tuck them in it's like the only one thing i'm most happy about yeah i'll get on an unbrushed horse but they've got to be tucked in get in that h2o i'm gonna wear spurs i wouldn't normally wear spurs to hack but sunny is so lazy he just knows he knows and he will just literally stop dead and eat grass because he's porky and he's clever so porky and clever is just the bad combination when it goes to my horse sonny sunny stop um she's ran off she's gonna go and terrorize people on our lady again she's gonna chuck my hat on my hair's clean so i'm really glad i'm not doing too much because when you sweat with clean hair you should get hot hair and it doesn't tie into my hair washing schedule or you know the struggle i'll just we'll just do that come on sunday are you ready are you ready to hack my baby yep right on cue the dogs are walking if you don't catch his nose the second you get off watch that's what he does you are so bad cut oh that was a demo but like it's just your monkey your little monkey you've also got to put your finger in the side of his mouth because he's really clever and you just will not open it there we go clever boy aren't you sunshine the funny story about this bridle it's actually my my first uh international pony danny's bridal so he was my another pony that i first went to the europeans on and he was amazing absolutely beautiful so ginger and amazing this is his bridal but sonny's got the weirdest shaped head i'm not trying to be mean he's got a pony size head for a 17-2 horse and he gets he gets danny's old bride on i kind of love that i feel that's a cute story you don't really have cute stories behind bridals normally so this one is uh vintage i guess the lack of a better word let's close this mr chomper there we go it is actually really old though one of the pieces fell off so i've put a uh plaiting band as the uh as the keeper so but i just can't i don't want to get rid of this bridle excuse me i don't want to get rid of this bridle i like this bridle so we reuse all right cindy you look somewhat presentable and we're ready to go should we go get on okay let's look a look kevin dude let's go hop on i think we'll get on outside [Applause] okay i'm just going to sort everything out here because if i do it if i saw everything out when i get to the mountain block he tries to eat the bush and then it's just not easy re-tuck these of course you go sort the other side and he's breathing out i can't get the other side because he's decided to breathe out come on oh oh no not the bus not the butt sunny come on i'm gonna do a ue oh god i lost my stirrup at the same time see my girl sonny would you stand still please study stand still okay god we got one we went one bar up sunny jail i'm gonna go and hack around the field now we're gonna go and walk do two or three times around we'll see how we're going as i said it's a lazy day so let's go so it's actually really cool that me and sunny can hack around the field now because sunny used to be really really fresh i mean he's still fresh at times he can be a little monkey but he used to really struggle to pay attention and if you kind of tried to canter him he'd squeal and then leap around like a little bronco horse where his nap it's pretty chilled i mean he might let me down now i've said that we might spook but for the most part he is an absolute angel so hacks are very nice i think he likes them we just free reign it okay god what a nice day i'm just gonna soak up the last bit of the sunshine in our sleeveless base layers i don't think we'll be wearing them for much longer i think we'll be wearing full length base layers and cold items of clothing but we do have new coats coming soon so it's not all bad i also um we also have winter weight coming so these gorgeous leggings you see here will be coming in winter weight which will be fun so then maybe i'll be able to hack a little in winter if it's not snowing we'll see um so my mum just handed me the camera she was helping me film but obviously sunny has four legs and she only has two i mean god claire two legs go call yourself a youtube mama i'm kidding she was good she was just really struggling to keep up with me um so i thought i'd bring you guys with me and chat away so god it's a little bit bright isn't it so sunny's just been an angel there's this patch of our field where there's a road next to it and people fly down it in their cars and that's the only bit that sonny used to be a little funny on sunny was a little funny god what is wrong with me today my jokes are awful and i'm just waffling a load of nonsense guys if you stayed on this vlog this far then just want you to know that you have the real ones and i love you and i appreciate you guys um so yeah sorry the they used to fly down this road and they would scare sonny and he has actually kind of got over it like he's being a lot more chilled recently i also just had to swap arms because this camera is tiny but it was making my arm ache a little bit after like 30 seconds which shows i either need to gym more or just get a grip to be honest i was gonna say man up but actually that's not true we don't man up because we're already stronger um gosh what a day look at this field on a beautiful day like today there's nothing else i'd rather be doing like i love dressage i love jumping but we don't get enough of these days in england so to just be outside and be able to bask in the sunshine feel the heat on my pale english skin is pretty it's pretty nice but yeah this is the way the road is this is the culprit so this is the hedge line and um that's where things can get a little hairy if we're not concentrating but yeah so i mean guys you're not allowed to judge me for the way i turned sunny out today not not one of you is allowed it's like a no-go area today because we all do it we all just flick the horse over and hop on if anyone says they groom their horse to perfection every single time then they're lying they're just lying or maybe maybe they're not but then they're weird so they're either lying or strange i mean i'm trying to keep it real with you guys most of the time i like to turn out my horse is really nice most of the time i like to look nice today is not one of those days today is one of those ugh let's just get the boy exercised kind of day and you know there's gonna be a few more of those in the winter uh it gets harder and harder to stay motivated on horses in the winter when it's so cold and it's muddy and it's disgusting and you have to brush the mud off every single day so if you guys don't make them perfect you're not alone and we all do it it's just more important that the horses get ridden and well cared for the occasional poor brush technique is not something that we get upset about or at least not something i get upset about um yeah it's just it's what it is we all have these days and i'm i'm actually enjoying this hack and waffling a load of nonsense to you guys it's kind of fun oh annie spooked honestly sonny hasn't spooked for months in this field and of course as i vlog and i have one hand on my knitting he uh decides to spook look at my little dog oh that's pretty much it guys i'm just gonna go and hack around another one or two times and get sunny exercised
