TABS Tournament - NEW SECRET UNITS Reveal the BEST UNIT in Totally Accurate Battle Simulator!

welcome back to totally accurate battle simulator over a year ago we did a tabs tournament now a lot of you guys have been asking to see another one so what we're gonna do today is check this out when you look at the secret unit there are 37 of them but 36 if you don't count the cheerleader which has no offensive weaponry we're going to be doing a tournament and i'll show you how we do it because here we have all of the secret units presented here and they have to battle and they're seated basically first being the best and 36 being the worst mr bomb on a stick and how i did that was i got this nice little excel sheet here and i basically put them all down and uh divvied it up and decided their rank based off of their overall price then we put them in this tournament and now we've gotta decide who's gonna win because well for one we have six very new units since the last update we've got the present elf the ice mage the witch the banshee the necromancer and the skeleton giant and who is this gonna be i wonder if the snowman will ever come alive man there's gotta be an easter egg map at some point right anyway but i've gotta say that at five hundred dollars in the ability to pop out anything from a peasant all the way up to a dark peasant or super peasant i think the present elf has to be the dark horse candidate to win or now a lot of the units even have new special powers that were added like the ice giant has his frosty breath vlad has an incredible impale mechanic that basically makes him a cheap dark peasant and so on so we gotta decide who is it that's the best in the game of the secret unit so we're gonna do that via the tournament so when we do it like this and we have all of these the first round is actually gonna be the people who are gonna have to fight to see who's gonna have to fight the top four seeds in the game the ice giant lady red jade artemis the tree giant those four so it's not a very enviable position so what we need to do is find a map and we'll be switching around them that has a nice big open space units are less likely to get stuck on anything essentially we're gonna be avoiding maps like farmer medieval one with little choke points or bridges or ancient one where there's cities things like that we want a nice big open field to try to make it as fair as possible so we'll be going to the ancient sandbox first where our first two contestants the 32nd rated fan bearer is going to be fighting the 33rd rated raptor now they're both 200 so essentially what i want to do is try to position units a decent amount of distance from each other and then we're just going to let them go and we're going to see who wins now in these early rounds it's single elimination we're not going to get into like two to three rounds until you know the final one and here the raptor wins so then what we do is we update the scores and the raptors get the victory so they're gonna move on and now raptor fights ice giant in the next round now sometimes the math just works brilliantly a thousand fifty versus a thousand fifty but this is the beautiful thing sometimes there's just a lot of enemy units now i think the chuko new here are probably gonna walk away with the victory they're low seated because they have a low price of 350 and apparently a rather long reload okay i might stand corrected here oh my god especially when the chuco knew absolutely missed but then again the bombs on the sticks are a little bit of the kamikaze type so chuco knew by the skinnier t with the victory now here is the 31st best gesture at a price of 300 and the teachers which are the 34th best at a price of 200. now this is gonna be interesting because both of these units are melee specialists that are usually good at like juking and dodging and oh my god okay it looks like the teacher might pull this one away and by that i mean this jester is gonna kick that guy in the nuts for the victory look at that he's taunting him so that was actually a pretty close one but you know what close battles happen and losers lose and the winners move on to glory town and sometimes the dollars won't always equal out here the ballooners are actually 80 down we're gonna keep it as honest as we can and try to make it the best that we can but ultimately it's very difficult to have a tournament what we really need to do here guys is to establish a totally accurate tournament the ballooners used to kind of suck and now they have this like randomly occurring meteorite ability and that's what a dying ballooner looks like he just kind of floats slowly but surely down while while people are getting beaten up look at this they're actually pretty good at like dodging and grabbing the axes so the executioners can't get their attacks in i thought the executioners were going to run away with this one but quantity seems to have a quality all its own and honestly just like in any tournament the best example i think is like march madness where college basketball teams face off sometimes the number one seed goes down to the number 16 side i mean it's only ever happened once in history it does happen sometimes some people are just like excellent counters to the other one and they didn't get paired up or maybe they did in an early round and that's just the way it is so here let me show you what's going on because basically the ballooners take the victory and now we have decided round one is over we have determined who's gonna fight the top four seeds ice giant versus raptor that does not look like a favorable matchup for the raptors lady red jade versus chuko news i'm not entirely sure actually artemis vs jester artemis is gonna kick that butt and then there's the tree giant versus the ballooners that's gonna be kind of interesting so to start round two off we're gonna be going to the ancient past now this is where it gets interesting because an ice giant is six thousand dollars and raptors are 200 so that means we're gonna have 30 of these guys and that's an even amount so we can actually determine who's gonna win but remember the ice giant just got ice breath in the most recent update making them supremely powerful this isn't the this isn't your grandpa's ice age giant now he's truly living up to his number one seed look at that domination now this is interesting because we have the brand new banshee facing off against the brand new necromancer now this is probably as close as i can get it about uh ten thousand eight hundred versus eleven thousand so banshees versus necromancers who wins well the necromancers have a little bit of some ranged combat abilities and they absolutely kicked the banshee's butts i actually would have been very curious to see how that would have played out now we got to go to one of the big boys the ura versus the raptor riders now the raptor's a little po'd because the other raptors got wiped out so here we go oh my gosh they've got like he has area of effect ice damage ooh the uber is getting actually pretty hacked up right now look at that i feel like the ice powers are pretty much the ultimate powers in the game i thought he was gonna get wrecked but apparently the ura has quite a bit of hp and takes down the raptor riders pretty easily now this is where it's gonna get interesting and i think i already know who's gonna win here but you never know this is the first big test for the present elves so we've got blackbeard coming in at a price of two thousand six hundred dollars and some burning hair just to intimidate his foes versus five present elves because that's what the money equates to i don't know if they're balanced it really is just rng he does have a cannon ability but the presents are out and two of them are alive okay he called in a dark peasant see this is what i'm talking about that's ridiculous now they move on so what's fun about this is if you look at like seeds and what is in a tournament in upset we haven't seen any upsets until this one right here when the present elf at a lowly rating of 24 beats the ninth seed in the game now they're gonna go off to face the eighth seed which is the ura things get really interesting in round four though in terms of potential upsets now normally i feel like lady red jade would be pretty dominant but when you're three thousand five hundred dollars well that equates to about ten chuko new and the chuko news have already had to beat the bombs on the stick they're warmed up for this match but look at that lady red jade apparently is exceptional at blocking incoming rain shots unfortunately her stamina really isn't up to task and she gets wiped out by the chuco noo that's just the way the cookie crumbles so that's the second upset of the day now for whatever reason i guess the new units just seem to be fighting each other here's the skeleton giant and they're gonna be fighting the new ice mage here we go this one it's a hundred dollars different now the ice mage is gonna be throwing out projectiles and the ice mage is the 20th seed and skeleton giant 13. i just have to think though yeah that the ice mage is probably gonna win this one just because they can slow down the enemy but skeleton giant is pretty tanky and apparently there's a little bit of fear too which i don't think it helps get close to them but they keep turning to ice but man they have so much help all they need to do is start taking some of these guys out or rather some of the mages out uh this one this one's lasting a while this is like when a game goes into like what double triple overtime here i mean i've never seen a draw in tabs before i wonder actually is a draw even possible and it actually looks like the skeleton giants because of their just sheer force of will the amount of health that they have it looks like they're gonna actually win this one i'm very curious how much health they have left so this one's in triple overtime right now but there's only one ice mage left the poor 20th seed is gonna go down it looks like you're going down oh one of the skeleton mages has fallen wait is this an under our blue victory the victory goes to the skeleton giant here's gonna be another one of those where it's 10 versus one but the sensei seems to be a crowd control specialist because he throws out so much projectiles now remember he does jump and in some cases i've seen them whoa that's pretty wild i've seen him kill himself but it looks like the sensei walks away with a quick little victory here so the fifth seed survives so this is gonna be interesting there's gonna be quite a bit of cupid's out here nine thousand dollars is 18 cupids versus five lads an even monetary amount and cupid does seem to have a pretty good attack here cupid could be a very very good dark horse candidate unless it runs up against a unit that's very good at stopping enemy projectiles here i mean vlad is supposed to be the economical version of the dark peasant because you know being able to summon in spikes from the ground is very similar to what the old dark peasant in tabs classic was hey look we actually have people in the stands watching the tournament you didn't pay for a ticket then again you're dead so i guess that's all right i i think this one is gonna go to the cupids one of the vlads is already down make that two they're just slowly succumbing to multitudes of arrows sticking out of their bodies and you know what well that looks like all she wrote for vlad cupid wins that's an upset we've actually had a few upsets but now the number two seed artemis has to go up against jester who we've seen fight already so 5400 you know what we'll give the advantage we'll give the monetary advantage to the number one seed i mean they're the number one for a reason right oh this oh i was gonna say that does not look good because artemis looked like she was about to be surrounded but the jesters don't have a ranged uh block ability or a dodge ability so the number two seed slides easily into the next round so this one's gonna be interesting because we're gonna see one of the new units and that is the witch and but we're gonna be able to have an even amount five versus seven at seven thousand dollars wheelbarrow dragons with their flame attacks are pretty good but remember that the witch has some of this weird like mushroom stuff which seems to just like warp the enemy and i think this one's clearly going in the witch's favor the witch which actually the witch which was the bottom seed just by three though at 18 pulls off a victory the shouter versus the samurai giant the samurai giant comes in despite his size and stature you know if you were using basketball analogies it's like the one team with the seven foot guy uh but doesn't have the perimeter shooters but uh he does have some style points for this victory still runs away the victory so this one's gonna be pretty interesting because i'm not sure if the gatling gun is gonna be able to get the shots off before the army of clams start toppling the guns the gatling guns could have done very well against most units especially if it was crowd-controlled multi-melee units but um them clams though so there you go 34 ballooners versus one tree giant i'm actually not sure if they can pick him up or if his mass is too much but i'm very excited to see this happen oh my gosh okay if any of them turn in their meteor ability i feel like they have a decent chance oh there we go there's a lot of meteors striking the earth but i feel like too many of them died in that first wave and the tree giant is he's a tank he's got so much health uh but it looks like he's unable to use his weapon i i can't tell if he's actually doing anything or if ballooners are just killing themselves that sure seems to be the case what are you doing tree giant do something okay it's a blue victory uh i don't think he did anything that was probably the weirdest match we've seen but number three seed survives so that's pretty close to being equal only 50 off i feel like that's pretty fair bank robbers versus bomb cannons so you throw the saves and the money goes everywhere huh i don't know why you threw it so far back okay so i actually thought that the taekwondo deter like depending on who they came up against would have had a decent chance to get to the final rounds or at least you know round four before the semifinals taekwondo is a melee specialist they do so much damage just took out a shogun unless there's some kind of a bug uh that is a major upset okay so this is gonna be interesting the cavalry versus the mace spinners and there are a ton of mace spinners but cavalry are pretty good but i feel like this matchup should favor the mace spinners because they have so much quantity and they've got they deal a pretty decent amount of damage i guess the issue here is not a single cavalryman has died yet only one's even been unseated from his horse okay now they're starting to get unseated uh but there's still two up then the mace spinners never seem to be doing much spinning but i don't know this one's actually very close it looks like the cavalry mag ran away with it but now it looks like the mace spinners are probably gonna win because look at this once you're off your horse you're not so strong are you despite the fact that the main spinners are very effective at hitting themselves so now let's go into the headquarters to talk with the experts about the tournament as we put in the last results here we've had a number of upsets in this first round the chuko knew beating lady red jade cupid beating vlad the witch beating the wheelbarrow dragons clams destroying the gatling guns taekwondo destroying shogun in mace spinners beating cavalry see this is interesting you're not supposed to have a 27 and a 22 in round three if you were you know a statistically better man so this is gonna definitely make things interesting ice giants versus necromancer could be a very interesting matchup and skeleton giants seem to be very good at absorbing massive amounts of ranged attacks as we saw them when they fought the ice meet and what is it going to look like when a samurai giant fights an insane amount of clams let's find out in round three so in round three we're gonna be going to a nice vibrant new map the ancient sandbox and obviously we've got the number one ice giant versus now the necromancers this is this is gonna be interesting wow and the numbers work perfectly five necromancers versus one ice giant but they they might have to get too close and all the ice giant needs to do is freeze them once oh they they do have a little bit of a kickback attack with the little tombstones popping up did you see that guy's head but the ice giant is he has a range attack and he's the biggest and baddest melee combatant in the game so i think we know where this one's going the ice giant honestly i don't see how the ice giant's gonna lose at least not yet the number one seed rolls on all right so an ura equates to uh six present elves i don't think this is gonna work out for the ulra but i could be proven wrong oh he actually was able to throw and stop two of the presents before they fired but he's got a long reload time and there we go there's four presents what pops out nothing crazy big although there's a dragon out there the aura has a chain a victory but i guess the dragon did do all the damage it needed to once again the present elf just takes out they've taken out the ninth seed and now they've taken out the eighth seat truly a bracket buster here so real quick what does that mean that means the present elf has to go up against the ice giant and there's going to be so many present elves 12 of them versus one ice giant a present elf could pop out an ice giant if anything beats the present elf i'll be surprised if i was cheering for a unit it'd probably be the chuco news they're just one of my favorite units in the game they're probably one of the coolest but you know remember when i said sometimes you just come up against a combatant that just has your number or is designed to beat you well i think here the chuco news actually have a chance because the skeleton giants just made them scared that looked like one of the best abilities of the skeleton giant actually came back to haunt them even though they're the ones using the haunting abilities i think the truco news are going to win yeah one of the skeletons and giants is already down that was a mistake maybe what we thought was what made the skeleton giant ideal to take on the chuko new is actually their greatest weakness how fascinating man that's an upset lower seed kills top seed i'm starting to think that maybe maybe the cupid's are a lot more dangerous now here's interesting what happens when you make a unit love itself but it's only itself okay well he still dies so we have some serious bracket busting here again lady red jade dying early throws this off but now the cupid's take out sensei chuco nu takes out skeleton giant so we have a 29 versus 21 in a one versus 24 what is happening to all the top seeds well one of the units you can almost always count on is artemis and here to have exactly the same amount we'll actually have to have two artemis's so that's a lot of ranged fire coming in on artemis here and one of them is already down the mushrooms are making them loose be my goodness the number two seed just got wiped out and i feel like if we were to do an instant replay there's simply too many and the witches clearly have artemis's number so six clammy boys versus one samurai giant okay so the clams aren't able to do a whole lot of damage and i feel like the samurai giant at least has a pretty decent chance that ground and pound ability is a pretty good clam killer which is just really funny oh my god okay samurai giant you know what actually like there's been so many disruptions i actually want some of the higher seeds to survive now and you did all right 12 thousand versus twelve thousand tree giants are beasts man very ideally suited against uh artillery because they don't get pushed back well tree giants the number three seed victory town now we just saw them in action taekwondo very very damaging two thousand dollars versus two thousand dollars i think taekwondo's gonna win just because they do so much damage per hit yeah they're absolutely beating up the main spinners so that concludes round three so here we have it taekwondo is moving on so the the top seeds in the game are just tree giant samurai giant and ice giant in order to survive the early rounds apparently you need to be a giant so we'll be taking this one to the legacy map the number one seed ice giant versus the dark horse i mean uh i'm sorry ice giant but i feel like this is where you're gonna die i really hope you can freeze them before all those presents are out because they can literally pop in one of you wait a minute wait a minute oh wait what froze you oh red victory the number one seed goes down in such fast fashion can anything defeat the president elves let's just see what would happen oh see dark peasant and a tree giant it's just not fair and just for a third time for fun i mean the president elves already won i just want to see if it's even possible oh this may have been the one that the ice giant would have won the best unit that popped out was a pharaoh c you you'd play this 10 out of 10 times like i feel like the president was only win four six somewhere in there i'm sorry but you got knocked out what'll be interesting though is we have a bunch of cupids but we'll be able to put in more chuco news 59.50 to 6000 that's pretty equitable oh they also get earlier shots due to range okay cupid's that were another dark horse contender until they ran up against these bad boys which are now my favorite unit of all the ones that are left the chuko news have to fight the present elves oh god all right 3 000 versus 3 000 three witches oh the samurai giant has a pretty good block ability but it looks like the witch has just kind of like cloned himself or created a lot of distractions so they're all alive are you are you running away what are you doing what are you attacking there's nothing over there oh you must be fungally infected which is decreasing your ability to fight and another top seed goes down the seventh seed falls to the 18th seeded witches this is the last chance for a top seed to stay in this tournament and that's the tree giant versus taekwondo are you kidding me taekwondo are ideally suited to kick this guy in the nuts but let's see there's gonna be ten taekwondo versus one tree giant okay uh i don't know actually oh okay maybe i do know the tree giant are you serious man in an early tournament this guy sucked but he has avoided ranged units let's actually see here so in order to win the tree giant did win taking out taekwondo which i thought i were a decent chance of victory so to get there they had to beat the bomb cannons which was ranged and the ballooners but now you have to fight the witches so here we have in the semi-finals the present elves which had to beat blackbeard the ulra and the ice giant if you talk about a top seed killer he's fought first eighth in ninth place i mean quite a resume there chuco knew had to beat the cupid's skeleton giants and lady red jade as well as bomb on a stick in that first early round witches had to fight samurai giants artemis and wheelbarrow dragons that's quite a resume too the seventh and second seed and tree giants have had to be taekwondo bomb cannons and ballooners to get here so who goes on to the finals and who gets placed in the third place match aka the loser's winner i think it's the winner of losers so we have to find just like a perfectly fair map and i feel like simulation is that there's no weird intricacies on the map there's no blades of grass you can blame your defeat on if you trip on them present elf versus chuco new 3500 oh my gosh this is just too many presents too many presents versus seven okay so there's a numerical superiority for the chuko new here they could take a bunch of them oh the presents act as shields apparently so four of them they had kind of a bit of a shield formation testudo okay zeus pops up and a ninja yeah what is this a modern soldier one of the guys from the tank you stupid present elves you guys are the worst oh oh man i was gonna say they had a chance but not a very good one i think i think we know where this one is going oh god jerk into the balls and the remaining top seed is gonna have to fight four witches mr tree giant the only one representing order and predictability fighting the armies of chaos can the tree giant who apparently is covered in i almost said mollusks but i definitely meant mushrooms there are no snails out here there are no clams and now you're running away the witches man are the witches going to the final round they are wouldn't you know it maybe we need some balancing but then again i mean it's the way the cookie crumbles do you even swing your tree anymore mr tree giant let's interview him how does it feel to lose well you know i don't really like it i don't really like it at all so there you have it in the final round it's the present elf versus the witches and in the bronze match my fan favorites the chuco news versus the tree giants so we're gonna do the bronze match but then to win the final you actually have to win two out of three matches the best of three you know what 38 50 chuco nu versus 4 000 i think this tree giant who he just walks so slow even with the tree acting as a shield i don't think he can repel fire probably this magnitude especially when the chukko news starts splitting up here yeah so the chuco knew may not have won the tournament but they did wins the bronze medal but the moment you've all been waiting for is essentially can anything beat the present guys those stupid little pointy eared elves who love christmas two witches versus four elves i don't think this is gonna do very well because instead of attacking first and getting your little mushroom attacks they call in the clones oh what no way hold on a second i thought they just lost but apparently if the elves die wait okay the witches won the first round and the second are you kidding me what is happening right now dang they kill a lot of units before they're able to get out of the present they've won two this one they actually would have lost maybe they just got lucky i'm not entirely sure look at that broom just spinning around in the background but the witches win the tournament present elves made it all the way to the final round but ultimately it wasn't enough and they got dominated in the final round so your winners of the tournament are the witches and when you look at who they had to fight the number three seated tree giant number seven seated samurai giant number two seated artemis and then they even beat the 15th seeded wheelbarrow dragons that is probably the best resume even over the present elves so i mean they proved themselves out there they they kicked butt and truco news you guys did a pretty good job you only lost to one of the cheap units in the game which was the president's but you know what that's a totally accurate tournament so let me know if we should do one with all of the factions we got tribal farmer medieval we could have a faction tournament if i could figure out the rules there or we could just have an absolute chaotic tournament of every unit in the game which would absolutely be nuts but let me know what you guys would like to see in the next totally accurate battle simulated tournament pull the
