Super Mario Odyssey Ep. 30 - Monkey Business

hello and welcome back to Super Mario Odyssey last time we made it back to the luncheon Kingdom and we've already gotten a little bit of a start well we've gotten eight moons which I guess is okay so we're just gonna have to keep moving and we're gonna start by shooting ourselves out of a cannon that's how any great show starts you know you just launch yourself High into the sky and hopefully if I do this right I can get a moon yes also also I'm a monkey I dressed up as Diddy Kong it's great [Music] perfect what a wonderful start that's ooh hello oh and there's purple coins over there okay I think I need to take this back to that that suit pot over there um this uh oh I see the portrait art too okay all right yeah okay um yeah okay I'm just gonna have to just gonna have to not not lose this please please don't ruin my turnip I worked really hard to get it no no come here I'm gonna throw pans at everybody get out of here thank you all right oh hello there's purple coins up here well there's a purple coin up here did I miss one okay I guess I'm gonna have to go back and get my turnip as well so that's good wow all right well we got some purple coins too that was unintentional I did see some over there so I guess I'll go back and get them on my way to get uh my golden turnip back get okay I don't think that was necessary but I do think that yeah we can make our way back through here all right so let's go uh let's go get these coins and then let's also go get some uh some golden turnips and maybe that'll lead us to another Moon ah all I gotta do is get back without killing myself I believe I can do it I believe in my abilities have I been in here I definitely yeah I've definitely done this all right let's leave I'm already getting distracted this is not this is not good well if I could just find a um well maybe I can get up over this way but if not then I'll just have to get another um Fireball guy yeah I guess I'm gonna have to do that and shoot myself out of the cannon again all right okay that's fine there's a fire guy right over here hello I missed totally missed try again thank you I don't know if I can make this jump I can it's gonna take multiple cannon shots to get where I need to go oh maybe not nope not at all perfect didn't mean to do that but I'll go ahead and grab this just regular turnips I don't care about you I want the gold one because this might oh God dang it yeah geez man there we go I don't need to go all crazy with it I just need I just need enough room to make it up these stairs all right here we go give me a moon yes I wonder how many more of those there are because I kind of thought it was just the one golden turnip recipe too okay well I'm unsure of how many there are total also did I get the one from Peach I'm pretty sure I did there's a kingdom caught up in a okay yeah just she she went from wanting a lunch to wanting to see a a wicked storm all right good um I'm so sorry y'all I'm just kicking stuff all around all right let's get back over to where we were and uh and we'll just make some magic happen you know we'll get a lot of moons we'll feel really good about ourselves I will jump in this weird pink group what is this man why is why is this the way they decided that like do should be presented I assume it's like a stew that's what the big the big bird up in the sky was cooking all right come here I got I there's something else I want to know let's hop over let's totally missed good good thank you okay let's try this again I did it last time first try no problem and now there we go okay there's a door over here right here I want to know what's in the store uh a moon okay cool the treasure chest in the veggies delicious that's all that's in here ah quite possibly I can't move the camera around so I'll never know unless I need to come back who has it happens often okay um oh sure I guess that's how I was supposed to get these coins was to uh walk up that you know what okay sure [Music] cool uh I was just it's fine see I kind of thought it was just gonna be coins I'm I'm still I know I've said this a thousand times but I'm still trying to grind out all the coins so I can get um all the costumes because there's a lot of them and I want them because I just think they're neat you know get out of my face go I don't have time to deal with piranha plants today I'm on a mission for success oh multiple coins I like that okay this doesn't seem too crazy not too crazy at all hey come here buddy we gotta do that oh okay I got an idea why don't you come right over here hop up we'll go over here look kill this guy's brother that's good we're doing good feeling good about our life choices right now huh wow all right let's go over here okay there we go made it this isn't so bad okay oh man am I really supposed to uh all right let's just line it up aim and shoot yeah first try look at that heck yeah [Music] lanterns on the gear steps cool this one wasn't too hard at all I'm getting better that's that's the reason why I'm getting better I'm becoming a real true gamer oh my controller's vibrating money okay where to next well I don't see anywhere immediately oh yeah that's right I have a map that'll show me where I need to go and some of what I need to do I should get into the habit of looking at that thing um maybe down here oh hello okay so it was down here all right so let's um well let's find another Fireball not those Fireballs though I need the living fire come here dang it all right let's try again wait for it yeah got him all right go stay away from the fire Bros uh it's right here under the meat Plateau awesome okay nothing over there um just a few around here you know what we've gotten a lot of the either there wasn't a lot of the uh Moon Rock moons or I've just gotten through these fairly quickly let's see there's one somewhere in this uh rainbow rainbow lava so I think I'm probably gonna need another get out of my face get out of here I'm gonna need another Fireball guy uh also have I done this probably ah I actually don't know okay no I haven't all right cool [Music] well that one wasn't even a little bit difficult um let's see I still I still want a fireball guy if um if that's at all possible that'd be pretty pretty nice right about now oh man and there's the Koopa Bros too huh first of all stop it okay all right that that one was my fault [Music] oops obviously I didn't mean to do that lava's hot man here we go there we go long jump over here kill this guy let's spray some turtles huh jeez man I didn't want to go in there no have I been in there hold on sorry getting distracted uh yeah I well I saw a grayed out Moon so then I definitely have been in there so let's uh let's talk to you how you doing buddy rovin Racers yeah let's let's race all right let's see if I can um ah geez where am I where are we running to the top of the mountain [Music] guys [Music] ow all right here we go no get away from me oh my gosh I'm gonna actually just accidentally kill myself trying to do this [Music] ah jeez I really did I wasn't paying attention no that's fine that's fine we're gonna do this again we're gonna we're gonna actually make it I just need to be more careful this one feels uh a little bit more difficult than the other ones we've been doing all right [Music] uh [Music] oh God God [Music] there we go got it yes I got really focused and I stopped talking again I that's that's my problem with the Koopa races I just I get too into it and I stop talking like I'm supposed to and now we have to do that again son of a gun let's do this I can win I believe in myself [Music] I think the path I took was was pretty quick so I'm going to try it again and see if that works out for me ah jeez I forgot I'm not supposed to long jump there okay that's okay keep it moving Mario keep it moving huh all right [Music] we're doing good we're doing good [Music] yes ah yeah got it gotta learn from your mistakes baby yes all right I'm glad I got that on the first try I don't know how far ahead I was compared to the other like Koopa dudes but I'll take it [Music] huh okay foreign maybe there is something in here I'm glad I looked at the map it's almost like maps are really helpful all right you're coming with me and we're gonna figure some stuff out because apparently there's a moon that's been hidden in here but where uh maybe up there I don't know I'm starting to think it's not in here because it looks like it's actually over where the Koopas are so I may be wrong about this um so let's let's go back out here and see if we can figure out oh yep it's up there okay great well that's a little embarrassing but whatever let's um go up to the peak and see if I can jump down that might be a little bit easier oh yeah I might be able to do it like this um yes yes got it Perfect all right well let's um I'm not really sure what this one's leading me but I'm gonna go back up top and and and see if we can figure out where this this last uh Moon Rock moon is I think I hit the wrong way yeah I kind of did but yeah you know what let's go up to the peak okay um let's thank you let's let's get in this Cannon and see where this takes us oh hello you seem new oh boy well no no no okay good that's it's at least a little generous ah I missed one I missed one no okay hold on let's do that again geez Louise man I'm starting to just not do well I feel like I started off so strong and then come on thank you good gosh I don't control the Fireballs very well apparently I thought they were I thought they were easy to control but I guess not when a bunch of potatoes are getting in your way trying to Lead Me this one I don't I don't understand where this one's at oh oh it's right here oh okay well sure by the cannon pointed at the big pot cool okay well hey you know what that takes care of oh almost all of them oops I really did think I had them all honestly um all right uh let's get over to this place it's probably one of those Square warp pipes but that's okay we're gonna do it oh hey this is exactly where I need to be oh let's go in there okay no no oh boy this is going to be pretty slow paced I think gotta make sure I'm trying to get coins at least because I've been dying quite a bit but I need these coins ah there we go got it perfect all right we're doing good we're making progress We're Not Gonna Die anymore today we might die a little bit more today actually there we go all right get it thank you volcano cave and mysterious clouds wonderful okay okay awesome I told you we weren't gonna die again today I promise you and I'm gonna make it happen I didn't actually promise you but I am gonna try really hard to not to not die too many more times foreign it's been embarrassing I'm getting getting impatient I think that's my biggest problem with with Mario is I get too impatient and I'm like I can do this I could do this and then I can't all right back to talking to where we at as far as 55 out of 68 that's not bad so it's what 13 moons left 13 moons and five coins right on man okay let's um let's see here oh I forgot to be looking for the Hat dudes it's quite a food lover so he's popped onto someone's head to take in all the flavors so like it's he's got to be around here actually come to think of it I haven't seen too many um too many people not here in the food Plaza there's talking to that's nice [Music] um oh maybe him up there huh Flame's gone out sad day I tell you okay we'll take care of that hello Stu formula faulty stew formula faulty stuck in harsh critic mode repairs require a mechanic sensors detect you are 0.00 mechanic mechanic required okay well I I think I have a mechanic outfit I think yeah there you are ah trap you found me I thought this fellow's head was a great Hiding Place really top drawer here take this then lead me to my foodie dreams would you [Music] Neato all right let's um oh I was gonna say go back to the Odyssey but there's a crazy cap store right here I still need five more coins I refuse to spend the coins until I I have them all let's see yeah I do have the mechanic outfit yeah Mario's looking cool with his backwards hat looking great I guess I didn't get to wear the Diddy Kong outfit for too long but that's okay it was fun while it lasted yes I am a mechanic this this unit is stuck in a loop due to sub-optimal Stew now sensing critical State ending systems normal Computing gratitude it adds up to this result is it a moon it's confetti too no one else gives me confetti you know you're all right you're all right robot guy uh I'm actually not gonna I'm not gonna walk in there however I do need to find a um uh a fire bro because I need to put the fire out [Music] and I'm pretty sure it's got to be one of the fire guys because I don't think that um I don't think that there's a way I can get one of the um [Music] well maybe I I could get one of the molten Fireball guys down here but it feels like that would be really really hard God dang it hold on yeah okay see the the area I need to go be like right below us which I'm not saying it's impossible but I am saying it's gonna be a heck of a like heck of a hard jump okay this is how we're gonna do this we're gonna we're gonna jump out of the bowl onto that roof and we're gonna we're gonna light it we're gonna light that torch up and it's gonna work and if there's another easier better way to do it I don't know what it is and I refuse to go look because I'm stubborn like that here we go ow God dang potatoes all right let's let's aim this properly say right about here we go here we go here we go yeah I got it ah that's awesome okay thank you [Music] that was excellent now uh what was the other thing I wanted to do aside from finding the five coins that were missing I feel like there was another uh idea I had in my head oh there is I don't remember if I said it out loud or not though but shoot here we go up here over here yes wow that's in the seaside Kingdom how did that dog get underwater okay also have there's the the portraits that are the secret path I don't know if I found the one in this level nor do I know where it's at so that's something else that we should keep an eye on I had this feeling that I've missed the uh I I've missed I've missed the hidden path portraits and at least one or two other kingdoms so that's probably going to come back to haunt me when I'm almost done with this game oh there was a fire guy right down here I guess I guess there were easier ways to do it but I did it the cool way and that's that's how we're gonna view that I might need to talk to takatu at this point because I'm sort of I'm sort of out of ideas on where to go that's okay talk to's literally right here how you doing buddy long time no see treasure beneath the cheese rocks okay there's there's quite a few of those but I will go look what else found with the luncheon kingdom are okay I just I just found the art I'll go do that in a little bit and overlooking a bunch of ingredients well this is a bunch of ingredients so is it up above us well if it is I don't see it but I know there's some cheese rocks over there so let's go let's go look at that also I I know that one of the um one of the moons I'm missing is I have to get the uh Chef outfit from the shop yeah come here get no do you all need to get out of here uh anyways yeah I need to get the chef out from the shop so I can get into that little uh locked room get uh which now that I think about it oh man okay so I'm gonna have to get the um I'm gonna have to get the outfit as soon as I can because otherwise cockatoo's gonna tell me about it and it might it might actually lock up my chances of uh getting more hints from talking to you actually I have gotten the the secret path to here I'm pretty sure yeah I definitely have yeah it's way out there so at least he won't tell me about that one all right shoot well let's uh let's let's get the last five coins how's that sound we're gonna we're gonna do it the the lame way we're gonna have Bowser help us where the heck is this leading me to excuse me everybody excuse me everybody get out and get out of my way get out of my way okay thank you um oh my goodness guys I am busy come here I'm thinking we're gonna have to go through some some some lava bits so let's stop geez oh okay well there's a spot right there I can just sorta come here come here I need you we're gonna we're gonna take a little bit of a drop here good oh there they are excellent awesome wow it was just one class I kind of thought I was gonna have to do it twice like one for a bundle of three coins and one for a bundle of four but oh you know what I'm not gonna complain is really this is really good that that's how that works awesome so let's let's go claim our reward our our well Justified well-earned reward I'm sorry that I used Bowser's amiibo for the coins by the way I I don't really take pride in it but also you know I don't want to be running around looking for for coins all my life my entire life searching for purple coins also I haven't bought the power Moon here so we're gonna get that [Music] I still don't like that they offer US 10 at a time why would they do that that's not okay [Music] all right how you doing buddy we're gonna buy oh my gosh the painters outfit ah I can't wait to wear that all right let's let's buy some vegetables [Music] some some Forks yay the sweet sticker I wonder what these vegetables taste like because they kind of look like like like gems you know but whatever that's that's not that's not important let's let's buy the painters outfit uh I'm not gonna wear it yet though we're gonna save that We're Gonna Save the painters outfit for the perfect time I don't know when the perfect time is but when the opportunity arises we'll know Destiny will come calling and we'll answer [Music] it's a costume it's really not that big a deal I'm being dramatic all right let's get out of here you look great Mario all right what have we got in here how are you doing buddy this is a place where chefs come dressed to cook and hey hey you've got the clothes and the hat come right on in heck yeah thanks buddy oh boy this will be fun okay I I paused my recording to go take care of something and I came back and I accidentally hit stop recording instead of unpausing it so I'm gonna take you through uh something that I just did here uh all I did was I hopped into here and I cooked this stew and it gave me that moon right there that's all I did and I'm really glad that I noticed it uh before I kept going because I started going up over here and you know that little tingle you get when you feel like something's not right well that was me and it was mainly because I died that's what didn't feel right so uh I decided to look over and see where we were at on the recording and uh oops okay come on tomatoes son of a gun ow these tomatoes are evil these guys are giving all Tomatoes a bad reputation oh boy there we go cooking all the stew [Music] all right perfect uh headed out yeah thank you buddy that's excellent so one thing I do know is that we haven't done any of the moons I think that takatu has told us about uh he told us what hidden in the cheese blocks and um overlooking a bunch of ingredients neither of which we took neither of which we took care of um I'm trying to think about where else a bunch of other ingredients would be this is like the biggest cluster of ingredients that I can think of [Music] and yet I see no moon huh well you know what that's okay because we found the hidden art we've gotten a lot of moons we collected all of the coins and bought everything that the shop has to offer so I'm thinking that this is where we're gonna wrap it up for today but don't worry because on the next episode we're gonna finish up here in the luncheon Kingdom and we'll move on to um I actually don't remember which uh kingdom is next so I guess we'll figure that out on the next episode so I hope you're looking forward to that and if you made it this far into the video as always thank you so much
