[Applause] the dream of immersing yourself in the world of Super Mario from your childhood becomes a reality in Super Nintendo World where you can uncover a host of Secrets Easter eggs and Curiosities that'll revive the best memories of your favorite video games but don't sweat it if you can't make it all the way to the park because right now without buying a ticket without waiting in lines saving you the bad parts here are the 25 secrets of Super Nintendo World before even entering the amusement park we find a pleasant surprise the entrance is Princess Peach's castle and this place is a faithful representation of the video games with a mosaic on the floor that gave us access to the Flying cap test along the sides we can see screens that act as paintings representing Bob bomb Battlefield and Tiny huge island two of the worlds that appeared in Super Mario 64 for Nintendo 64. if you take a closer look you might get a surprise or two Super Nintendo World has a mission for all attendees in addition to having a good time of course Bowser Jr has stolen the golden mushroom that was hidden in Princess Peach's castle and has hidden it in his lair to get him we will have to get three out of the five Keys scattered throughout the park that act as missions there is one about not waking a piranha plant by turning off alarms a reference to how these enemies slept in Super Mario 64. another one about preventing a Goomba from falling by turning a crank another one consists of hitting a pow block to divert a Koopa shell one more consists of pressing buttons filling a panel as in Super Mario 3D World and a final One exclusive to Japan which is found by reconstructing a puzzle before a bob-bomb explodes once we get the keys we can access Bowser Jr's Lair where the final test takes place an attraction where we have to jump to defeat enemies get power ups and use them as if we were Super Mario at the exit we can pick up the thank you letter from Princess Peach although kiss is not included there is one more secret key in all Super Nintendo worlds whose location we will reveal in a moment in the central area of Super Nintendo World there's a very special Toad House the Toadstool Cafe the theme restaurant of Super Mario in amusement park this place is run by Chef toad who like the house elves of Harry Potter Works to cook every single day if you look through some fictional Windows of the restaurants dining room you can see kitchen areas where the toads are preparing the dishes you can even hear them talking every now and then there's a special event in the restaurant where a Bullet Bill goes through the kitchen and the light of the cafe darkens until everything returns to normal and a couple of curious details about Chef toad his specialty is mushroom and tomato pizza his star dessert is peach pie a reference to the peach we get as a prize for completing Super Mario 64 and he is voiced by Samantha Kelly the current voice actress of toad in the video games this character is very special because unlike normal toads his head has the colors inverted and you can find a lot of merchandise based on this character the Mario Kart attraction takes place inside Bowser's Castle so you can expect this to be a shrine dedicated to King Koopa in one of the paintings if you look closely at the bottom you can read Shigeru miyamoto's signature the creator of Super Mario and a Bowser himself and just as he loved his signature on the painting don't forget to leave your signature on this video by subscribing to the channel and of course liking it because you two are a work of art going to Super Nintendo World and not buying the power band is like playing Super Mario without jumping these bracelets are used to interact with the amusement park in its blocks or to get the keys you need to complete the main challenge there are six in total with versions of Mario Luigi Peach Daisy Yoshi and Toad in order to work they hide a little trick inside they have an NFC chip that makes a magic happen and also adds an amiibo function to use them with a Nintendo switch there's also a special and super limited edition golden Mario Power Band a reference to the golden Mario amiibo and the game in which it appeared new Super Mario Brothers 2. if you go around Super Nintendo World and find some plates with the ammo Super Mario it means there's a secret there if you bring a power band close to these plates they will light up and just above a Sprite of the classic Mario characters will appear shining on the wall if you manage to find them all you will receive a special stamp of Super Mario lowering a flag in addition to the five keys that we get in the mini games there is a six hidden key in Super Nintendo World that very few people will find to get it you must use the binoculars and find Bowser Jr this will trigger a special event that'll end up unlocking the secret key in the park the most hidden but also the easiest one after a long day waiting in lines to get keys Comes A Time To Face the boss of Super Nintendo World Bowser Jr hides in his lair but before we can pass through his Chambers to see everything he has stolen if you're a fan of the Super Mario games you're sure to recognize some of the strange objects that can be found there we have a boomerang from the boomerang Brothers the helmet and hammers of the hammer Brothers a Mecca Cooper robot that appeared in games like Super Mario World comex broom who must have had a few of them Professor Egan's paintbrush that appeared in Super Mario Sunshine and that Bowser Jr stole a magic wand that seems to have been stolen from Wendy a poisonous mushroom that you definitely shouldn't touch and finally the Koopa clown car that Bowser Jr uses to fly and that we can even see in his final battle on the opposite wall there are some other things a treasure chest a Goomba boot from Super Mario Brothers 3 and a bunch of coins test your side because Nintendo and Shigeru Miyamoto have hidden one of their most beloved characters throughout the park the Pikmin these tiny characters are taking a coin on top of a block probably to pay the tickets you can also see them sitting on a Ledge enjoying the Sun and resting after standing in line for hours in Japan there seems to be many more so try and catch them all since Nintendo doesn't want to put achievements on their consoles they put them in their amusement park instead in the Super Nintendo World app there's an achievement section to keep track of our Feats this also serves to keep a record of the coins we get and the missions we complete some are easy such as participating once in each ride but there are others more complex like finishing in the top 10 of the Mario Kart ride daily ranking or visiting the park on Halloween or Christmas it's impossible to unlock all the achievements in one day and it has been estimated that you'd have to visit the park at least five times to get 100 of the stamp Yoshi's Adventure ride is exclusive to Universal Japan and it's mainly based on the Super Nintendo Yoshi's Island video game in the queue we can find Toadette who seems to be looking for Captain Toad our mission in this place is to find three hidden eggs during the trip by pressing the correct button of the attraction when we see them during the tour you can see the baby Yoshi from new Super Mario bothers you for Wii U and Nintendo switch which could shoot bubbles turn into bubbles or glow in the dark ah and at the end of the tour we can find Captain Toad next to a golden egg if we aim at this guy with binoculars there's a possibility that we will see a kind of shooting star if you look closely at it Rosalina will appear to greet you from her ship the comet observatory which appeared in the Super Mario Galaxy game according to what they say in Super Mario Galaxy 2 this Comet only passes once every 100 years so what a coincidence and how lucky are you that you found it just when you went to Super Nintendo World although you may know that her story is somewhat sad because she makes this journey to visit the place where her deceased mother lies the restaurant at Super Nintendo World Is Everything a Super Mario fan could dream of not only is the food delicious but there's also a giant Shelf with a bunch of Life-Size replicas of Super Mario's power-ups the super Acorn appeared in New Super Mario Brothers U and transform Mario and his friends into Flying Squirrels the super Bell is from Super Mario 3D World and with it Cat Mario can climb walls or scratch Donkey Kong's face among other things there is a mini blue mushroom to make us so tiny that we can run over water or walls a Yoshi egg that I really hope they're not going to use for cooking a turnip that Captain Toad throws in Treasure Tracker the classic fire flower that adds a spicy touch to all the dishes and finally the Tanuki Leaf from Super Mario Brothers 3. inside Bowser's Castle and on the way to the Mario Kart attraction we can find a testing and research room in addition to diagrams of some of Mario's enemies hanging on the wall there were also books that hide references and Easter eggs to Mario games this is the inside storybook a reference to the Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story RPG for Nintendo DS and 3DS another one is called Double Dash ears a nod to Mario Kart Double Dash for Nintendo GameCube Yoshi's story happened in a book A book that is found in this place too on a show a few of the other really interesting ones include a Botanical Encyclopedia of piranha plants what's behind the Shy Guy's mask Crazy Eights and Lucky 7s as a reference to the special items from Mario Kart 7 and 8. we can even find a guide on how to stylishly fall into lava you know what I mean in the Mario Kart attraction there are costumes hanging on the wall representing the main characters of Super Mario the these are the me suits that we can unlock using amiibo figures in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Nintendo switch there are many more but here you can only find Mario Peach Luigi Yoshi and Toad under each of these costumes there's an iconic object that represents each character for example with Yoshi we have a Yoshi egg an undertone we can see a mushroom in Luigi's case we can find a vacuum cleaner from the Luigi's Mansion series specifically the Poltergeist 5000 model from Luigi's Mansion 2 for Nintendo 3DS Super Mario has a neatly folded Tanooki Suit ready for use in any emergency lastly we have Princess Peach's iconic umbrella which he usually uses to Glide and served as a collectible in the Donkey Kong video game even the shops is Super Mario World hide little secrets the design of one up Factory is inspired by The Toy Box Galaxy from Super Mario galaxy for Wii Mario Motors exclusive to Japan is a reference to the sponsor Mario Motors that appears in several games in the Mario Kart series but that's not all Mario Motors is also a canceled game by Nintendo where we would have had to design our own engine for Mario's cards on Nintendo DS on the tour that takes us to the Mario Kart attraction we can find life-size replicas of all the cops that we can get in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe except for the DLC ones those are not there at the moment there is also an exclusive and special cup of Super Nintendo World called Universal Cub which is supposed to be the trophy we get when completing this attractions race and as a courtesy just above the cups you can see a model of the first level of Super Mario galaxy for Wii it's all full of details if you continue the tour through Bowser's Castle you will eventually reach the enemy assembly room because you need a whole Army if you want to fight Super Mario this is where Mecca Koopas and Bob bombs are built following a series of steps to finally end up in these cards that'll transport them to the racetrack boxes if you stop in front of one of the screens you can see how these iconic Super Mario enemies are brought to life in detail the fact that the Super Nintendo World park has a connection with both the Super Mario movie and its video games is no coincidence it seems that Nintendo and Universal wanted to design the park in such a way that if you've only played the games or only watched the movie you could recognize and enjoy Super Nintendo World in fact the additional Donkey Kong area is designed to resemble the jungle Kingdom from the movie although with many nods for the video games too the concrete path that connects Universal Japan and Super Nintendo World hides a curious detail if you look at the marks on the ground you're likely to find a series of numbers that seem random but they're actually the release dates of the main Super Mario games we can find from Super Mario Brothers for NES to the most recent Mario games inside the waiting room of the Mario Kart ride we can see many screens with a Mario Kart television logo it is one of the main sponsors of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and primarily they broadcasted all our races and save the replays along with this you can see more Mario Kart sponsors as well as an explanatory video where Mii characters appear in Super Nintendo World Japan you can get an exclusive Super Mario toy its name is tokudoku Mario a plumber figure that seems to really walk when you slide it on the floor this toy has been designed by the Super Mario video games engineering hence it is so special and has so many details its name comes from the Japanese onomatopoeia which represents a sound made when walking although Super Mario World has some songs dedicated exclusively to the park it also uses the soundtrack of a ton of Super Mario games in the main area we can hear the song that plays inside Peach's castle from Super Mario 64. in Bowser's Castle you can hear the themes of new Super Mario Brothers Wii and Super Mario World's castle [Music] in the Yoshi attraction we will hear the game's Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's story inside the Toadstool Cafe the main theme of Super Mario odyssey's luncheon Kingdom will play [Music] in the bathroom we can hear the underwater theme from new Super Mario Brothers U when we sneak into Bowser Jr's Lair we will see that there are a lot of paintings hanging that illustrate his early years of life here we can see him as a newborn next to a Goomba plush toy his first time going to the beach winning his first car race although here we suspect that he was cheating and even his first time riding a flying ship around these faintings we can see some Doodles that seem to have been made with Professor egad's Magic Brush and if we follow its Trail we will find this strange graffiti on the wall this Mark is a reference to Shadow Mario from Super Mario Sunshine which he laughed after committing some Mischief if you don't want this journey through Nintendo worlds to end check out the rest of our videos of facts and secrets on the channel and don't forget to subscribe to our channel so you won't miss anything
