i suffer you bring him hither to me and jesus rebuked the devil and he departed out of him and the child was cured from that very hour then came the disciples to jesus apart and said why couldn't that we cast him out and jesus said unto him because of your unbelief for verily i say unto you if you have faith as a grain of mustache you shall say unto this mountain be history under place and it shall you thank you we thank you that things are as well thank you for keeping us welcome so that once again we can give you praise from the bottom of our hearts we can give you thanks from the bottom of our hearts and say thank you you kept us oh god during the pandemic before the pandemic and lord we're trusting you to keep us after the pandemic because we know that you are bigger than anything that anybody can think of and we say thank you but we thank you for this place we thank you for our pastor we thank you for the pride from the pulpit to the door we ask that you come into the room oh my god what would we do without you we ask oh god that you keep us and we'll be kept save us and we shall be saved and until that day when we see you face to face we ask that you give us the light that this blessed privilege to share this hour with you to tell you there's no other name given unto heaven whereby men and women can be saved other than the name of jesus and to tell you that i love you you and even you makes no difference what you think of me but it does make a difference what i think of you for i cannot allow hate prejudice deceit and all the things that separate men and women from god keep me from knowing and you ought to say that yourself ain't nothing gonna keep me from knowing say because i know and i want you to know as i know that jesus is the light of the world and if through uh marriage counseling with them and we're gonna be marrying them the first week in october thank you for coming amen [Music] we're praying for all of our sick and shut-in reverend chambers who had to be taken to the hospital last night we're praying for pat as you continue to mention that and you continue to walk by faith and not by sight we're praying with you to my sister gwen bowie who is coming along very well my mind was on willie stinson this morning john and i want to pray for willie i'm going to be calling him this week and mikey samuels mother banks mother collins mother hazel thomas mother elizabeth robinson the indiana broadcast club made a significant contribution to the church this week thank you indiana broadcast club for what you continue to do uh missionary edna humphreys we're praying for you mother margaret hunt is here today mother elvira goldsmith is here today we're glad for that mother theodore love flora leech all of you i'm praying for you and your church is praying for you i know that many of us have been confined to the house because of covet and everybody feels differently about covet i know that i mean this church if it weren't for covet would be packed we thank god for that but we thank god for you being cautious and taking your time and for those of you i tell you there's hundreds and hundreds that are viewing us many more that are in the building today and that's okay because we have adapted to a new reality and i'm going to be preaching today on the significance of the physical church i'm going to talk about that the lord has given me something to say about that but we're thanking god for all those that join us whatever way they join us and if you're so kind enough to tune in to our broadcast radio broadcast we're on cable channel 25 on saturday mornings or saturday evenings and sunday mornings and then of course we're on facebook live we're on youtube we're all over the place and we thank god for all of you remember us in your prayers and if you would be so kind send a donation of love and support so that we can keep these services coming your way praying again for our brother terrence brown in the transition of his brother last week the aunt of lawrence lucas cousins of cedric sterling the aunt of brandon rudd many others who have made transition we know that god is able to keep you and all i can ever say i can never remove the pain that people are experiencing all i can do is just assure you that whatever you go through whatever your situation whatever your circumstance whatever your condition all you need to know is that you don't walk through it by yourself that you've got a god that loves you and cares for you and you don't walk by yourself you walk by faith in the one that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before his throne we thank god i want to give a special shout out today to minister reverend i'm sorry she's rev now reverend robin anderson brother sherman bryant and all the teams that worked with them on yesterday we had an overflow in our community health fair a wonderful wonderful time and many people were touched many people were saved people i brought people into this sanctuary and prayed with them they said pastor can i go into this yes come on let's go amen i want to thank god for the trustees and the ministers and the ushers all of you who were here today that were over here yesterday that were able to be here with us it meant a lot some of you came and you just came to support you just came to be present and that i call is the ministry of presence thank you for that because there comes a time where you can't work like you used to work and sometimes you just can only show up but let me tell you i don't take that for granted you just showing up means the world to me and i'm happy to report that over the 50 or 60 people that got tested not one came back with covet 19. thank you god for that amen for the ones that got tested for hiv and aids none of them came back positive and then many were vaccinated i had to convince a few that we needed to get them vaccinated and they heeded to the wisdom of vaccination i want you to know that we're now working on this second phase of the booster and many of you you go to your doctors and you'll get your booster and that's fine it's a one-time shot pfizer uh possibly modern bunderna but we're working on fisa right now for the booster and we're praying first of all all those that took their vaccinations yesterday in four weeks the vaccination bus will be back to give you that second shot you know that already but then we're also trying to get them to come to do the booster and so you don't have to go anywhere but come to church and when you leave church you'll be able to get your booster now let me tell you something and this is something you need to know and uh after november the funding for the free vaccinations is threatened to be expired right and so while the united states federal government has supplemented and so has the state there have been discussions about when that is going to stop being the case a free subsidy so if you wait until after this i'm trying to time it so you can get the free booster so that you don't have to pay for it because it's possible in november you may have to pay for the booster right money makes the world go round don't it how long did we think that this was going to be free amen but that we live in a commercialized society a capitalistic society and anytime there is a way somebody's going to try to make some money off of anybody's pain and misery but we're going to circumvent that because we're going to try to bring them here first and you can bring your friends everybody that has already taken their shot and are due for the booster i think you have to wait six months for that anyway that's something to do and i just want to praise god for yesterday now as we continue to go forward in this service today we have a very special treat i believe for our consecration thought and i want you to start making your way over here reverend the reverend fran randolph who will give us our consecration thought today as she is making her way this is our tithing and offering period where we give back to the lord as god has prospered us to give as you consecrate in tithe today i have something that i want to give you they will be located on these faces space stands and if i could just get two of those velvet green baskets over there um trustees okay uh the two baskets please thank you i'm gonna take i'm gonna take them up here okay we're gonna take them up here first please okay all right and then i want to remind you that we have because we give we give because we have and therefore if you believe like i believe you're never without i want us to listen to this consecration thought from our own beloved reverend fran randolph good afternoon or good morning before we begin our consecration message there's something i'd like all of us to do put your hand over your heart and repeat after me i am a child of god he loves me and i am a good person we need that we need to know we need that we make mistakes we know that but we know we can always come back right but we are good people we're god's people so the scripture i would like to share with you today for your consecration thought comes from john 16 33 so i'll wait a minute for you to find it if you'd like and i've asked reverend cunningham sims would she read it please now i know the scripture is in many translations but when you read it you will see that the meaning is the same so thank you reverend these things i have spoken unto you that in me ye might have peace in the world ye she shall have tribulation but be of good cheer i have overcome the world and that is so needed right now say amen somebody yeah amen again the meaning is the same they're talking about the power of god we all have had many valleys and many mountain experiences in our life especially this last year [Music] there were times then and now when we didn't know how we were going to get out of a valley right lots of valleys because of trials which are tests and tribulations which cause us a lot of suffering and i can mention a few pastor just mentioned he sure did we've had health trials covet we'll never forget that acronym will we never vaccine should we get it should we not get it when should we get it so all of these things have caused us trials now they're the boosters as the pastor was talking about should we get those when are we going to get those is going to be paid for as the pastor alluded to we have family tribulations our spouse significant other children aging parents that's another whole new area we have aging parents that we need to look after because guess what if you live long enough you're going to be aging something take it from me take it from me also other relatives also financial trials some people can still not pay their rent they still can't pay their rent so we have to pray for these people and yesterday a lot of people offered a lot of services to help people right they did so take advantage of them or let people know we have a lot of social ills still just watch the news or don't even watch the news somebody will tell you these murders especially killing of children carjackings so many social ills on a local level on our state level and on federal level we've had many loved ones who've made their transition that causes you a tribulation that that's sad that's very very sad so the scripture that i offered you is one i have used throughout my life especially in my valley experiences john 16 33 here we find jesus reassuring his disciples that although he's going to die and be resurrected he's telling them not to worry because his father is with him so i want you to know to sum this up so this week meditate on this scripture because if you haven't had a valley experience you might have one tomorrow or the rest of today don't think you're immune to it meditate on this scripture share this scripture with anyone who is going through a valley experiences and go out and let the world know that we can be at peace that's what the scripture said no matter what trials and tribulations have we can be at peace and be of good cheer which means joy now i want to let you know i love every one of you as you know and i wish you god's love god's joy and god's peace thank you amen amen [Applause] amen thank you reverend randolph thank you so much and jesus said unto them if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed you shall say unto this mountain remove hints to yonder place and i shall remove and nothing shall be impossible unto you this is jesus's words us today that if we have the faith as a grain of mustard seed you can speak to whatever mountain is in your life and god will remove it according to your faith i was led today to purchase these coins in the middle of the coin is in glass enclosed mustard seed you'll notice that it's very very small and then there's a prayer card on the inside i'm going to ask if our ministers would stand reverend anthony on the left rev gore on the right and you all are going to make sure that everybody only takes one of these coins how many are we taking okay we want to be able to have this morning as you bring your first fruits to the lord that there might be meat in the lord's house to accomplish the purposes of the lord's house i want god to touch somebody out there to give even more than you would normally give today this winter is going to be a bad winter according to most meteorological projections with the rent subsidies being slashed [Music] it is anticipated that there will be a lot of homeless people increase i want us to buy a food truck so that we can provide food for those that are outdoors that will be our focus this winter if you want to help me drive that truck come on we'll put you on the license we'll put you on the insurance but we're not just a church that operates within these four walls and i believe somebody can write a check today and pay for the entire truck but i want you to know that what you give to god god will give it back to you good measure press down shaken together i need you to use your mustard seed faith this morning [Music] the spirit already spoke to you and one of you said no say yes to the spirit of the lord as you consecrate take one of these go back to your seat and then we're going to be delivering the sermon on love is what's love got to do with it everything everything because the lord said to love him and then love your neighbor as you love yourself how many of you love yourself today i want to know amen you got to love yourself in order to love somebody like you love yourself right some of us don't love ourselves and therefore we can't love others because we don't even love ourselves but god has given us a remedy for that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth and believe in thy heart the lord jesus that god raised him from the dead you shall be saved and with salvation comes love with salvation comes deliverance with salvation comes the right attitude the right mindset that will set you up for success in life you got to say yes i can say it yes i can i can do all things through christ who strengthens me you got to be able to tell yourself that and remind yourself on a regular yes i can i can do it because god has given me the strength to do it each one of you have received this demonstration for those that received it thank you for receiving it this is something that i was led to do because i wanted to draw a focus on the mustard seed faith that we are called to have now before we get into this message i want to prep you that you're going to have to allow the holy spirit to use your imagination in order to receive this message it's got to be done in a certain way because this has to not only be spoken but it has to be taken deep inside planted in your heart and let it grow god does not want you to lack anything everybody should have said amen at that moment god because you've got to affirm that to yourself god does not want me to lack anything my god shall supply all of my need but it is according to my faith and today i want to preach to you that your faith will be increased pray with me open your hearts and open your minds eternal god thank you for this preaching moment thank you for the anointing that will take over that will speak through me that i will decrease and that you o god will increase i can't save the people i can't deliver the people i can't give them salvation i can't even help them out of their problems but i know you can and if you speak through me i'll let you have your way in jesus name open their hearts open their minds open their spirits so that this word can be poured in and it will make a difference not just on tomorrow but an hour from now a day from now a week from now that they will use their faith to accomplish that which you have opened up for them help me god to speak your words today in jesus name amen i cannot do this by myself no matter what i do it is the word that cuts asunder it is the spirit of the lord that has to open up our minds so that we can receive now listen the spirit is speaking to you today through this scripture and your life should be different after you receive this go with me to matthew 17th chapter starting at the 14th verse which reverend lee read for us earlier i think i'm going to read it also from the king james this particular passage of scripture is entitled if you have a bible that has the topics this is entitled jesus cures a boy with a demon but that is not the ultimate point of this passage it's entitled that it starts out with that but the message is way beyond the boy being possessed with the demon and jesus cured him of that possession it reads like this from the 14th verse beginning there when they came to the crowd a man came to him knelt before him and said lord have mercy on my son for he is an epileptic and he suffers terribly actually i'm reading from the new revised uh version amen he often falls into the fire and often into the water and i bought him to your disciples but they could not cure him jesus answered you faithless and perverse generation how much longer must i be with you how much longer must i put up with you bring them here to me jesus was talking to the very disciples that were following him now if seeing ain't believing i don't know what is apostle paul in romans 8 and 28 says for we know that all things work together right that means that there is a point of faith and there is a point of knowledge these disciples had knowledge they had seen what jesus did they knew that jesus gave them the power to do the same thing but yet they were unable to do it jesus said how long do i have to keep trying to teach you the same thing how many times do i have to go over this with you i've shown you i've given you the power but yet somehow another in your mind you still don't think you can do it that's a lot like us some of us today god has proven himself over and over and over and over again [Music] yet but how long will we go the other way how long will we see a situation and then talk to the situation about how big that situation is as opposed to telling the situation you ain't bigger than my god because my god will protect me my god will sustain me my god will keep me here's the same situation jesus said how long do i have to keep doing this bring them to me hmm and jesus rebuked the demon picking up on the 18th verse and it came out of him and the boy was cured instantly then the disciples here's the point of the whole story then the disciples came to jesus privately and said why couldn't we do what you just did why could we not cast it out he said to them because of your little faith because of your unbelief i think another version of the bible says but because of your little faith but then here's what perplexes me or at least it did but i got the answer this week because he says it's because of your little faith and then he directs them to a mustard seed now if your faith is little and because it's little you can't get nothing done why in the world would jesus point us to a mustard seed which is the smallest seed of all he said to them for truly i tell you if you have faith the size of a mustard seed other translations say if you have faith as a mustard seed i prefer that because god jesus was not comparing little faith to a little mustard seed open your minds now hear me the little faith could not be offset by more little faith what was jesus talking about he said when you do this you can say to this mountain move from here to there and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you the spirit revealed that god through jesus was not talking about the size of the mustard seed jesus was talking about the kind of mustard seed let me explain to you what this mustard seed is really referring to the mustard seed begins real little look at what i gave you you can barely see it encased in that little plastic right there on that corn but that mustard seed grows into a plant and then that plant grows into a tree we used to sing a song i shall not be moved just like a tree that's planted by the waters i shall not be moved what jesus was saying was not the size of the mustard seed he was saying the kind of mustard seed the kind of seed that doesn't stake a seed it grows into a plant and then it grows into one of the tallest trees and in doing so it provides shelter it provides shade it provides relaxation and nourishment to those that sit up under it so my first point today is that a seed first of all must come from a living entity you cannot get a seed from something that never lived seeds are the result of plant reproduction when pollen lands on the flower stigma it germinates and it forms a pollen tube which quickly grows towards the plant's ovary once it finds an oval the pollen bursts up and releases the sperm cells which then fertilizes the ovula and then initiates the seed formation when your mother and father conceived you that seed had to come from a living being that had to match up with another living substance [Applause] why am i going through this you've got to see yourself as a seed jesus wants you to see yourself as a mustard seed now just like the baby is tended to and nourished in the mother's womb after conception just like the seed is planted into the soil receiving the nutrients of the soil that's just like the nine months of pregnancy that a woman experiences a seed must go into the earth and the earth is uniquely equipped to provide the nourishment that it needs what about you i'm going to talk about the importance of where you plant your seed a baby cannot be born unless it stays in its mother's womb for a prescribed period of time a plant cannot come forth unless it stays in the ground long enough for germination to take place they need the right temperature they need the right moisture level they need the right air the right light you are just like that seed you got to plant yourself in a place where you can get the right air the right temperature the right moisture let me go into it the right word of god you got to be able to pray so that you can talk to the lord that's part of your seed being developed you got to be in a cocoon like a caterpillar does before that caliber pillar becomes a butterfly what does it do everything i'm telling you it's the same thing there is this point where you have to be germinated your seed has to now turn from a seed into a plant what jesus was telling the disciples that if you had faith like a mustard seed you may wish for the small things today but as your faith increases you can ask god for big things [Applause] because my faith is no longer in the seed form now how do i get from seed to plant i want to tell you how important it is for you to come to physical church i'm not saying that just because i want you to be here but there's been all kinds of things that folks will say oh i can praise them in the calm certainly you can i can praise them at home yes you can but at home you only gonna get what you can give yourself sometimes you need a professional gardener to impart something into you and i'm saying you don't get that over youtube you don't get that over facebook now you may get a head knowledge but you're not gonna get that spiritual touch that you need when you enter into the cocoon of this sanctuary you want to feed your faith so that you can starve all your doubts this is where you come this is the mechanism that jesus put in place is called the body of christ it's called church church where you're prompted to pray when you can't pray for yourself somebody can pray for you when you're prompted to study the word of god in sunday school feeding your faith you see all this prayer praise worship study preaching all of that transforms that seed into a plant and if you keep on going that plant then turns into a tree and then that tree can provide shelter for somebody else all i'm saying to you today it's okay look at the mustard seed but know that you're not gonna stay there i don't want you to stay in the seed form show up around here get involved in the service of the lord don't be stagnant nor apathetic because we know that with faith god is pleased it is impossible to please god without faith this mustard seed starts as a seed turns into a bush a plant and then a tree faith is ever evolving they ever evolving faith is ever expanding if you don't get what you want from god it's because of your little faith but jesus said that if you have faith as a mustard seed in other words tend to that seed let that seed grow continue to develop that seed turn your faith from a seed into a plant and then turn your plant into a tree so that you can then be one of the pillars that keep the gospel going on that the lord can use you to bring glory to him because if you know him like i do you know that if it had not been for the lord on my side where would i be i wouldn't be where i am today and therefore i've got faith and my faith allows me to see things that don't even exist in the physical yet see i see this place full by faith i see covet being over by faith i see people coming from the north south east and west by faith i'm telling you i see your bodies being healed by faith i see your pockets getting full by faith i see you being able to do the work of the lord by faith faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen i want you to see god working in the invisible realm right now god is doing it right now and if you let him he'll do it for you there is a point where you've got to make a decision are you going to continue to live the way that you're living is it okay that you just move along or do you really want to grow some of you have put down the church some of you talk about the church some of you can't seem to get past hurt feelings of the past i know church folk can hurt you but god ain't never hurt you and we don't come here for the people [Applause] we come here to give praise to a true and living god and if you're here today i want everyone in this room to stand on your feet and i want those of you that are watching me by facebook live or youtube those of you that are hearing me over the radio i want you to make a decision today a decision to accept the lord jesus as your personal savior there is no way that you can live full and prosperous lives without the lord being on your side [Music] and it takes a commitment from you that i'm gonna give the lord my life and even those of us that have been in church for a long time every day we're re-affirming our commitment to god we're recommitting ourselves to god if you're here today and you're without a church home or you don't know the lord like you want to know the lord i want you to come up here and just let me pray with you today this is not to embarrass anybody if you don't feel comfortable doing it see me after the service is over but here's a way to make your public demonstration you want the lord to bless you openly then commit yourself to him in the public if you're here today first deliverance is a good church to sow your seeds of faith in jesus is in this place in this house if you're here today i'm encouraging you to come forward in the name of jesus if you're here come forward right now yes remain standing [Music] i want to pray with you as we get ready to conclude this service [Music] eternal god here are your people striving to do your will i pray that you go before them to make their way safe easy and successful peaceful prosperous and abundant in the name of jesus if you receive that say amen say thank god and member of first church of deliverance following the archbishop's lead and therefore it is incumbent upon me uh as his pastor to preach his installation service message and i will do so and then secondly to garner as much support from first church of deliverance as i possibly can to show our love for first church of love and faith express yourself in the best way that you can next week bishop tindall will be in town he is the officiant of the installation service for reverend powell but of course when he comes to town i always ask him to grace us with his presence in the pulpit so he is consented to speak to us on next week bishop james de tendon so next week let everybody know bishop tyndall will be preaching from the pulpit of first church of deliverance and then we're going to go into the service together at 3 o'clock those of you that can help me we would really appreciate your help i remember a time and i'm not criticizing anybody because our trustees do a wonderful job and i appreciate them so much our ministers do a terrific job and i appreciate them so much our ushers our choir all of our service agencies but now i'm putting something on you there are those of you that are in the audience you should be trustees [Music] but you might want to let them do all the work there's some of you that can serve on the usher board but you might come in here and you might just say oh let them take care of me nurses boy usher boy trustee board choir oh let them just sing to me you see that the numbers are running down don't you [Music] i need more choir members and there's some of you all out there that can sing in the choir i want you to find your place get in your place and stay in your place amen amen i'm praying for the increase that's the kind of faith that
