[Music] your witness this morning this is going to be the greatest day that you've had all week we believe it in the name of Jesus wherever you are in your homes on your job wherever you are watching we pray if you came to lift your hands worship we looked up the name of Jesus we will not be shaken we will not be moved we will stand on the rock of our salvation we will not be shaken we will not be will we will trust in the god of our salvation [Music] yeah [Music] we said I hope on Jesus Christ I'll corner soul in him we safely rest his love and breaking ball we build our faith on Jesus your name and dad alone it's been a firm foundation [Music] we on the rock of our salvation we will not be safe now people we will turn in the god of our salvation I know you'll never fail me hold you I can depend I know your plan is perfect I'm glad you called me friend you tend my help in crisis you are the one I call I'm standing on your promise you [Music] we were on the rock of my salvation we praise the Lord together church family and to our guests let's lift him up and glorify Him if he's singing over me I want to rejoice back unto him if he's rejoicing over me then I want to give him the praise of the glory and the honor that he is doing that he deserves that song is taken from Zephaniah chapter three verse 17 and the last part of that verse says that he will joy over thee with singing but it's preceded by other words that save him Zephaniah 3 and 17 the Lord thy God in the midst of thee his mighty he will say he will rejoice over thee with joy he will rest in his love and he will joy over thee with singing he is mighty and he's in the midst of us there are two or three of us that are gathered here today and where two or three are gathered he shows up and in your homes I'm sure there are people with you your family maybe you've invited some yes you've joined together the LORD thy God is in the midst of thee and he's mighty to say during this difficult time during this strange situation that we are facing and going through our God is fighting for us and doing battle for us and he is mighty to save and he is with us in this time and in this season our God is not caught off guard he's not confused he's got everything right where he wants it to be and he's in complete control and our God is mighty to save we're gonna go to the Lord in prayer at this particular moment for any need that you may have written need that I may have these singers that are with me on the platform and even they have or God is mighty enough to see those needs through he hears us and he is not going to leave us alone during this time and season so we need to call on him for every need in situation let's remember to pray for America and what we are facing that God will be with our leaders the leaders of our States the leaders of our nation let's also continue to remember to pray for Israel and the Peace of Jerusalem let's keep them in our prayers and let's keep this whole world in our prayers as this world is globally trying to deal with this pandemic let's remember that let's remember our church family that have needs jane holl Margie McGraw let's remember the family of john bobbitt he passed that is the father of mary Bobbitt and grace herrera and any need that you may have if you feel comfortable doing so if it's with your family and you feel comfortable joining with them either holding their hands or placing your arm around them if it's a guest and maybe y'all don't feel comfortable then just point your hands towards one another if you don't feel comfortable touching during the season time but let's go to the Lord in prayer over every need in situation that you're facing that you're going through for your family for your home for your job situation whatever it may be let's go to the Lord in prayer right now who is in the midst of us at this particular moment and he's mighty to save let's turn it all over to you Lord Jesus you see everything that we are facing individually things that are going on in my life things that I'm facing on I pray for my situations I pray for my family my you would be with us that you would protect us that we pray a hedge of protection around our homes we breed the blood of our homes I pray for each and every individual that is facing something right now either physically or emotionally or spiritually you're able to heal any manner of sickness and disease right now we speak it people that are battling things in their bodies we claim healing right now in the name of Jesus people that are battling difficult job situations bless them right now in the name of Jesus give those individuals comfort right now Lord God be with them in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus we pray amen amen welcome to church this morning so very glad to have you joining us either by livestream or Facebook live or maybe you're watching on YouTube we are so very glad to have everybody with us our church family and our guests that are joining with us it is an honor to have each and every one of you and we encourage you just as we have done the last couple of weeks turn your home into a place of worship as we go to worship here in just a moment once again before pastor delivers the word turn your living room your kitchen your bedroom wherever you are turn that into a place of worship and seek God and glorify God and praise God like never before there with your family and maybe your friends it's an honor to have you at church with us today and turn your house into a house of worship if you don't mind we are going to take an offering at this particular time and there will be information that will come up on your screen but I will give that to you as well you are can give at Pio a church and you can also give if lot of questions that maybe you're going on in your mind you maybe have been laid off you maybe have filed for unemployment you maybe were a full time worker that is now part-time or maybe you are part-time and your hours have been minimized even more we understand that there are some difficult times and seasons that you are facing here's what I will say during this time is if you are worried about where your money is going and you're fearful about where to put a dollar or place a dollar the greatest place that you can invest that is into God's economy yes this church is supported by your ties and free will offerings I'm an honest enough man to say that but that's not why we're asking you to give we are asking you to give because you investing into God's economy is the safest place for your money to be because God sees each and every need that you and your family has and he will supply every need that you have so give today as the Lord has blessed you and give cheerfully I know it's a scary time and where to put our money but God says when we do give that we ought to do it with a cheerful heart so today as you give as the Lord has blessed you do it with a smile on your face and know that God sees every dollar that you invest into his economy gives the Lord has blessed you in Jesus name a few announcements that I do want to make before we go to the Lord in worship there is no online service tonight but we do have our Pio a family devotions that have been going out and thank you Shane and Taryn Spears for putting those together for us those will be going out for you this evening so don't forget that you have a devotion that you can do with your family tonight we are hoping that you are following us during our daily devotionals that we have been doing the past couple of weeks and have scheduled to do for the next couple of weeks so please continue to follow us on our social media platforms our daily devotions let's remember that tomorrow night and pastor may mention this again is family night so make sure that you are joining with your family on family night it's within the laws to be able to do that if you have a large family and maybe ten or more people get enclosed into a small space we understand that that may be difficult for you to do but if you can keep the number to where our government has asked you to keep it to let's join together as family let's also remember our governor who is a man of Prayer a man of God and who's been doing a tremendous job during this very difficult time and season he has called for the next four weeks on Tuesdays for everybody to fast their midday meal so everybody we are asking you to join the governor because we are going to join the governor for the next four weeks on Tuesdays at noon please fast your lunch meal will be joining our governor and other people around the state and let's pray that God will knock this epidemic out like he is capable of doing in Jesus name Wednesday will be our online service at 7:00 p.m. you will not want to miss that next Sunday is Palm Sunday I have the opportunity to minister next Sunday and we were slated to have communion together here in church of course that is having to change we are doing the online service but what is not changing is we are still taking communion we cannot provide that for each and every one of you there's no way to distribute that properly so here's what we're asking you to do this week if you can please get out if you're elderly please have your kids or your grandkids do this for you please go to the grocery store get some crackers and some grape juice we will be taking communion together as a church family next Sunday may God bless you pray you have a tremendous week pastor is going to come and deliver the word here in just a moment if you are sitting why don't you stand in your living room your kitchen your bedroom let's go to the Lord in worship once again and let's usher in a powerful presence of God into our on this platform like God such an anointing you let it fall in a hole right pill Oh God let there be encouragement let's have big face right now let the Holy Ghost move Oh God let the Holy Ghost touch us in Jesus name thank y'all great team thank you for work well done and God gets the glory I want to say those of you that have been given devotions each day our devotion team those given those devotionals have just been outstanding our singers the worship y'all have done each day had just been outstanding and I I thank you for that and I want to thank you for staying at home there's nobody here except this team and in our sound men and those that's taking care of getting this to you there's no one else in this room we always talk about full house and I mean there's not a person in this room besides those that running the sound and those that's on this platform trying to abide by what we've been asked to do there's one that you couldn't keep out and that's the presence of God his presence have been here tomorrow night of course every night has been family night but I want to pause here because this has brought something up in my heart that in 1997 leading this church I felt led you people can go down a few would like I felt led in 1997 to start what we call family weekend and we had a family weekend and then a few years later God laid on my heart to do Monday night family night and in the last three or four years it seemed like as a church family and I'm speaking of POA right now as a church family we've allowed that to sort of get Mendel back in with the other nights but I would like tonight or this morning to emphasize the importance of Monday night Monday night is not to be spent with everyone else I have no problem once a month maybe twice every six weeks or so of getting together maybe as three or four families and charcoal and our being together but Monday night is not being built for fellowship of other families it is built for fellowship of your family and I cannot emphasize strong enough when we're in this and when this is over pastor is going to start emphasizing even more the value of our families being together on Monday night very very important so please start clocking that back into your spiritual man that Monday nights beginning tomorrow night from here into the rapture we're going to start taking Monday night just for our families singing together praying together studying the word together playing games together fellowshipping together but spending time together as a family and pastor Gentry he's not in here now I don't think but he did a tremendous job with the announcements but next Sunday's communion make sure that you get by and pick up your your bread or your cracker your wafer and your grape juice and next next Sunday we will serve communion together and it's going to be unique because the serving of communion though no one will be here the serving of communion them we made that plan just today is going to be very very unique next Sunday morning has a lot to do with all of this and I think it's going to bless you next Sunday if you don't mind let's turn in our Bibles to Isaiah 32 verse is one in two and the Prophet is speaking a word behold a king shall reign in righteousness and princes shall rule in judgment and a man shall be as a hiding place from the wind and a culvert from the tempest as rivers of water in a dry place as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land this morning I want to talk to you on this subject shut in with God shut in with God Lord be with us touch us anoint me as I ministered the word today your word is anointed just let me be anointed God to speak that word let there be anointed ears in our homes in our homes be anointed to receive the word now in Jesus name we pray amen in a man god bless you you may be seated in your home if you are standing up I sort of got this subject when I started thinking this week I remembered my dad singing this song from the time I was a kid to the nights that I spent with him the last few nights of his life in the hospital room dad and I would be together in those last few nights and I would hear him in the early mornings that he would begin to sing shut in with God in a secret place there in the spirit beholding his face gaining more power to run in this race oh how I love to be shut in with God there are many more verses but that since we have been in our homes obeying our governor's orders since we have been in our homes I have been singing that song this week and my subject context came to me and when you look at the text that I read the question is asked who is this man who is this hiding place from the storm who is this culvert from The Tempest and the answer in time past present and future would never be long enough to tell all about the holy man of God that I'm going to speak of this morning this god-breathed book the only thus saith the God book it took 16 hundred years in preparing what we now have in our homes in our lives in some of your right moment in your hands but when you look at the chapter 20 verses John 30 and 31 and many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples which are not even written in this book many things that Jesus did that are not even recorded in this book but they are written that you might believe that Jesus is Christ the Son of God and that believing he might have life through his name and then verse 25 of John 21 says and there also many other things which Jesus did the which if they should be written every one I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written in our great God ten thousands of titles agencies types symbols that have been written but none of them can portray Jesus Christ as my Lord really is he is like a bundle of myrrh he is like honey in the rock he is like a sweet selling savor he is God's right and he is God's holy arm and the Bible says he is the arm of the Lord he's the bread of life he's a man of God he's the soul of God he's the image of God he's the pearl of great price he's the new and living way he's the good tidings of great joy he's the fountain of living waters this book is written by holy men of God and women that gave us great words but no apostle prophet pastor teacher or evangelist has ever told it there is no prophet or preacher that's ever been described Jesus Christ good enough he has so many unique titles in this book almost odd titles they are he's referred to as a plumb line he's referred to as the True Vine as the rushing mighty wind melikhaya three and two MEC Miki and I looked it up last night and were studied it together he's referred to as a refiners fire and then the one that caused me to question was he is referred to as Fuller's soap which is a white cleansing soap he's the husbandman he's like a great mountain that tells the horse he's a stone cut out of mountain without hands he's the lily of the valley he's the Rose of Sharon he is the bright and he's the morning star he is the Holy One he is your maker he's a judge of all mankind he is the great Shepherd he is the healer of all manner of sickness and disease including corona virus he is the faithful witness he is the way the truth and the life I cannot tell it all we could go on and old but there's no one that could describe or preach Jesus good enough there are 256 names in this book that can be attributed to the Lord Jesus Christ but I don't have time to call all of those names but all I simply have to say it's Jesus and when I say the name of Jesus all 256 of those titles and more added to them is expressed in it all when you say the name of Jesus in that Old Testament the Lord allowed some cities of refuge that were appointed by God for his Old Testament people but they became a perfect type of the man who was going to be our hiding place those six cities of refuge in the Old Testament were a covered from The Tempest and the significance of their name shows something particular character of Jesus Christ taken as a whole when you look at the names of those cities of refuge in the season that we are in in our nation and around the world these cities of refuge really moved me to tears this week one of those cities is named Kadesh which means a holy place which means a refuge for the unknown Kadesh that city of refuge the unknown I don't know where this is going you don't know where this is going we are standing on the precipice of the unknown but the Bible says that city of Kadesh you can run into it and it will be a city for the unknown situations the other city is the city of Shechem it's a refuge for the weary it is a shoulder to cry on our church in the last week what I have dealt with here as a church from our congregation it's been a unique season not only for the virus and none of them were from the coronavirus but in the last week from last Thursday the men now maybe eight to ten days our church has had eight people promoted in this congregation and I with just family at grave sides have done five home doing services for some of the greatest people in our church and I see how that get to this place where there is a shoulder to run two families that's lost loved ones situations that you are facing there is a shoulder that we as pastors and churches can all run to in this season another city was the city of Hebron which means fellowship I miss Church I miss not seeing all of you POA I miss not connecting I look across this vast auditorium of seats and I don't see except that one running sound and those that is getting the scriptures and words to you I guess there's three in this room right now and when I looked at all of this we missed the fellowship Billy Joe is one of our great prayer warriors here just texted me yesterday she said I'm missing you and sister Mickey I'm missing our church but it is a refuge it is a fellowship for those of us st. Keller together it is a city for the homeless he said there is the city of Bazaar which means a stronghold a refuge for the helpless never as a pastor don't think I'm a lack of faith I'm just talking about maybe because of my personality my mother's watching this morning maybe because I have too much of my mother but in times like this you like to usually get a hold of things and try to fix things but this is past any of us we all feel so helpless we wish there was something that we could do I do appreciate what our president is trying to do I do appreciate what our governor and all governors are trying to do in our state's but basically everyone has faith and God is going to work this out I am NOT preaching from a standpoint of fear I'm preaching from the standpoint of faith this morning but as far as dealing with this direct thing it is helpless as far as we is concerned but I will you - no it is not helpless as far as God is concerned and God has this situation another city there is Ramos it's a refuge for the hopeless not only have we felt helpless but some of you watching that have not experienced Christ in you you have felt hopeless some of you watching today have a hopeless marriage some of you watching today have a hopeless situation with this message this morning let me tell you you can begin running to that city of Ramos that City of Hope who now is called Jesus Christ and he can put that marriage back together he can heal that situation of hopelessness that is in your life when you turn to Jesus when you turn to Ramos my Lord can handle it all there's another city there called Golan that is a refuge from the tinted those of you battling temptation to those of you I know that seven and it's been a stress on Mickey because she loves the ministry that she started it's turned into a very successful ministry here POA and it is our seven ministry and they've been having to meet by way of Facebook and facetiming but I know to seven ministry there has been temptations that may have come but when you run to Gulen God says I will help you be separated from the things that may tempt you are the things that may come against you when you look at these six cities of refuge from these names we learn in Jesus Christ with that name that is above every name we can have holiness can have rest we can have fellowship we could have safety we could have separation on to him we cannot tell what all he is but we can run to him and he will supply he is the only man who is king of kings and Lord of lords he only has immortality he is the only potentate Jesus is the only man who is God of gods Jesus is the only man who is the preeminent above all other things Jesus is the only man who is holy for as a man Jesus is the only wise God because he is and was God Jesus is the only man who has all power in heaven and in earth Jesus as a man is the only true God Jesus is the only man who is called Lord God Almighty that angel spoke to Joseph he said Joseph thou shalt call his name Jesus for he shall save his people from their sins he is the only Savior under heaven among men whereby we must be saved there is no other Savior there is no other name he said except you believe that I am he you shall die in your sins this morning I felt led to come to those of you and poa watching us on the web I could have taught on other things and preached about where we are and preached about how maybe this fits into prophecy but I came here this morning to do one and that's to exalt Jesus Christ and to preach about that name that is above every name that man Christ Jesus that hiding place shut in with him that place where you can go now we can gather as a church we can't gather as a group of people we're all shut-in in our homes but there you can have a hiding place with him there is no more condemnation to them who are shut-in with Christ Jesus there is therefore no condemnation everything can be put aside today while you are shut-in with him he is a covert he is an ark of refuge from a coming storm he is the mercy seat the propitiation for our sins that covers a law that was so broken I got to praising him yesterday afternoon when I was studying I got to praising him to think before he came there would have been laws that I would have had to hold up that I would have to try to fulfill I would be living under walls that I could not abide by but yet because he came I can now stand blameless before a holy God though I have seen though is Anthony Maggie and I have made bad choices when I repent I can now stand before him as blameless before a holy God he himself is that tabernacle he himself is that Old Testament cover night Tabernacle he is a shadow in the daytime from the heat he is our place of refuge he is a convert from the storm and the things of life that may be raining on you right now from worried to stress he is a covered in the times of storm shut-in with him he satisfies he's rivers of water in a dry place and listen if any man thirst let him come he stands before us all this morning any man that is stressful any man that is worried any man that is thirsty let him come unto me and let him drink for he supplies all of money I had two tremendous grandfather's Papa magnin and my pops II Gibson who is the father of my mother he used to say this he would take this scripture where it says that the Lord owns the cattle of a thousand heels and he would always say I'm gonna add to that Scripture I want to get in trouble with God but I want to add to that Scripture not only is he the god of a thousand Heels he said but let me tell you something he can feed them not only is he a god of a thousand heels he can feed him he is sure God and I don't know what we're facing with unemployment I don't know what we're facing with the job in the economy in our great nation of America and those of you that's washing watching around from all of the nations I don't know what you face as a nation but I know he owns a cattle of a thousand heels and he can feed them I know he knows how many hairs are on her head I know that this morning he went to the sparrows funeral and if he can take care of the sparrow you can believe in this time of tribulation and in this time of trial God is going to be with us so here is my message today I have led up to this point to say what David said from the end of the earth from the pulpit of poa from 3411 by you rap ease for the last few days of being there with just Miki and myself he says when my heart is overwhelmed lead me to that rock that is higher than I when my heart is overwhelmed when the circumstances of life have overtaken me when it doesn't know where I'm gonna go or how I'm going to make it lead me to that rock and let me be shut in with him we're all used to the pressures of everyday living there will come to all of us at some time that experience which overwhelms us never will I forget as a young pastor in Plano Texas that church had grown we knocked out walls and it filled up and I'll never forget as just a young minister 28 29 years of age where I cast visions of that church and we're going to build a new church and I had to great me in there had many great men but two great men that were builders and one of them was a Gary Weatherford and the other was Mickey Gibbs but I still remember that day when we laid those farms there I was a 28 year old kid and and those cement trucks begin pulling in to pour the foundation of that new church that we were pulling in in Plano I was so overwhelmed with anxiety I'm going to be truthful I went behind the pile of dirt and a little bit came up I was I was so overwhelmed by the moment when I realized what are you doing Anthony you don't know a one before from the tuba six and use a general contractor here what are you doing but I'll never forget that moment when the presence of God came upon a kid preacher and a kid pastor and the glory of the Lord begin to shine upon me and to those great men and all those other men that brought their lunches afterward we worked into the early hours of midnight and early-morning hours building that church I'll never forget how God peace came into me at that moment of anxiety and took care of my needs that were warning right now I feel in your home the anxiety that you may be feeling the things that may be coming against you and I'm telling you God's got it in God's with us and God is for us and if God be for us who can be against us you may be overwhelmed with things that were happening before the coronavirus ever come along it may be a sickness or a death or a financial desire maybe a domestic crisis it may be an inward struggle that you're having it has submerge you it has overpowered you it has knocked you off of your feet it has not you down I will never forget another incident some families in this church provided from me and Mickey to go on the very first cruise we had ever been on and we were on this cruise and we just left the port fact we're not even reached the first stop when they told me that I had a telephone call and that I needed to call home and I remember when I call home and it was a Paul Nordstrom my brother-in-law that answered the phone and and I said Paul what's happened and he said well when I tell your father has had a stroke and I think that you need to get home I will never forget when that we could only get one flight and I we pulled in this a little bitty town on that boat now I'll never forget getting off of that boat looking back at Nick Ian and my family Mike him Jeff the kids and and gently and like gently and I look back at my family and waved goodbye to them and I got a little bitty plane and they ferried B to Rome and I had to spend the night in Rome and that night in Rome Italy was one of the most lonely nights not knowing that my father was going to live or be alive when I got home that night in Rome I'll never forget ha ha I feel so helpless that is my mentor that is my pastor that is my father more than anything else God would you please spare him till I can get home and in that hotel room in Rome I will never forget how the Shekinah glory in the presence of Lord moved in that room and he touched me and from that point on though when I got home I got to stay with dad I spent every night with him from the Sunday until the day he died I spent every night in that room in fact only left that room in four days one time that was to go to the nurse's station they brought me my food I shower in the room I stayed with my dad until he breathed his very last breath but I recall all of those moments when I was overwhelmed that God came and visited me and with this virus that is going around that has our churches empty but the Spirit of God sealing our homes right now we are shocked but we have not been taken by surprise we may stagger under the blow we may fall backwards but we're not going to be overwhelmed because we have a shelter that we can be shut-in with God we have a place that we can run to we have a place that we can go I'll never forget Mickey and I passing again in Plano and we were getting ready for a Sunday morning and Mykel was two two and a half years of age and I'm now fighting it but I have I have severe allergy problems believing God to heal me but they had prescribed for me some allergy pills and those pills affected my breathing so I just took a few of them there was like 16 or 17 pills left in that bottle and my Carol thought we left it under our sink and Mykel had two two and a half years of age got under our sink crawled in there and swallowed that entire bottle appeals and we took her to the hospital praying and we got there and she was with the emergency room doctors and was early our morning sun comes up it gets Church time I look at Nicky I said Nicky I've got to go be with the church and play now I said I'm gonna leave you and lo here or lo is her aunt and I said I'm gonna leave you and lo here and and I'm gonna let y'all stay here with her but I'm goin to church and I'll never forget driving off that Hospital wondering what was going to be taking place but Oh in my car the presence of God begin to feel Mickey and I because she said if you're going I'm going with you and when we got back from church service in Plano on that Sunday morning we got back to the hospital my sweet baby girl was sitting on the side of the bed swinging her feet ready to go home and we took her home and later she passed thirteen of those pills that she had swung God somehow allowed them not to dissolve I cannot explain I can tell you it's miracle but I can't explain how God works but I can tell you God once and this morning if you need a miracle if you need God to move in your life though it's just me and you and the sound people in this room right now and you and your home I'm gonna tell you God will be with you for David when he gave us his scripture he was no stranger to such a time he had found a secret of victory he said I sent out a call he said I cried unto the Lord notice his cry was in one direction his cry was not to pasture his cry was not to the government his cry was in one direction he said I'm aiming my voice to one one set of ears and I'm aiming my heart to one heart I am aiming my cry to the ears of God and I am aiming my cry to the heart of God and the substance of his cry was this get me to that rock that is higher in other words Lord lead me to your presence let me be shut in with you this morning take me to a place that I cannot reach by myself take me to a place that I cannot handle this situation so you God take me to a place that the Church of the pastor no the government anyone else can take me to you take me to that place Lord that only you can take me to where I can be shut in with you what is that name why don't you say that name aloud with me right now Jesus Jesus that makes say it right now Jesus that name that is above every name that is higher than any other name name in heaven or in earth I thank God for our prayer germs I wrote a book on praying the tabernacle and I believe that and I've been praying it every day but this morning I'm not just talking about praying I'm talking about commanding and moving in the authority and the power of the name of Jesus of course we have all been praying but I think it season where we turn our eyes towards heaven and we start praising God for the benefits of what he has done and we start proclaiming that name this morning I have come here for one thing that is to exalt him and that is to exalt his name and to lift him beyond our circumstances and get him higher than any virus that's ever come our is here or that will ever come I have come to get you past your circumstance that seems so devastating I have come to lead you to the mercy seat of Jesus Christ where you can run to his mercy seat where you can be justified just as if you has never seen justification is just as if you have never seen you can run to that mercy seat David had known the shelter from a sudden storm he knew what it was like to have a relief from that burning heat so he said take me to that rock he knew what it was when Saul and all of his army was trying to pursue him and David was running through the rocks and David was hiding in the mountains and David was taking himself and putting himself behind all these places and he would hear Saul and all of that army that was seeking to destroy him and seeking to kill him when all was around him when Saul wanted him dead he knew there was no man that could protect him so he said the heart Lord lead me to that rock that is higher than high take me to that secret place take me to that place Lord that only you can take care of when Saul's army are chasing me like a beagle pursuing a rabbit take me to that rock that is higher than I he was remembering David was remembering that chapter he was remembering verse 3 for thou has been a shelter from me and you have been a strong tower from my enemies God I'm remembering what you've done from me with my kill I'm remembering how you've helped me building buildings I'm remembering when Nicky and I've had circumstances in our lives or pastoring this church are playing though that you showed up God when we didn't know the way out we didn't know where to turn but God you showed up and you take care of us so today lead us take me God take me to that rock that is higher than high David said over and over again he said thou art my hiding place David said thou shalt preserve me from trouble he said thou shalt can pass me about with songs that's what David says he said when I am in bondage when it seems like I'm been surrounded when it seemed like all this coronavirus and the median everything is smother me and it is real not believe in it but David said when all of that is coming against me he said thou shalt can pass me with a song so today let's start singing today let's start worshiping and do as David did he said from the end of the earth from the bottom of my circumstance from what I have been going through before Coronas and what I will be going to God what I am in my grief my sorrow my trouble my testing my trial my temptation worrying about my job worried if I'm going to have a job and the great businessmen of PA well I don't even want to confine it to P way but you businessmen that your business is shut down right now and you don't know here at P way if you're going to make it you've been a faithful supporter through your tithes and offerings let pastor speak a word to your businessmen God is going to take care of you God is going to be with your business God is going to give you a plan if there's a big if there if we will run to the rock that is higher than I if we will be shut in with God in a secret place what about my retirement what about my investment David said hearken to the voice oh God hey God hearken to said I called upon the Lord he heard my voice out of his temple and my cry came before him even into his ears david said my cries came before him but notice where he knew they ended up he said even in to sign ears my cry got to the ears of God he said in Psalm 9 9 and 10 the Lord also will be a refuge from the oppressed he'll be a refuge in times of trouble than verse 10 and they that know thy name never have I been so thankful to know the name of Jesus never have I been so thankful that I've been baptized in the name of Jesus for they that know thy name will put their trust in thee for thou Lord has not forsaken them reading you have not forsaken them that seek thee so my urge as your pastor or those of you that's watching us are those of you that have not allowed the Lord to baptize your life as you save him and born again of water in spirit let me tell you he is not going to forsake everyone that will seek him so this morning we seek Him this morning we call on him the Hebrew word often used and I'm about done I know I'm preaching a good while this morning but this is my only opportunity to greet you this week but the Hebrew word often used for trouble in psalms is a tight place when you look up the Hebrew word mostly used for trouble it means in a tight place David was saying when I get in a tight place David was saying when you get in a tight place when it feels as though the trial will squeeze you to death the Lord will be a refuge no matter how tight the spot no matter where life has driven you to a tight place the Lord said I will hear your cry to my ears as I close this morning I'm thinking of another Old Testament giant by the name of Hezekiah when he received a threatening letter from the Assyrians when he was told of his coronavirus Hezekiah knew the strength of the Assyrians and he knew that nothing would stop them from crushing the nation of Judah so Hezekiah the Bible said he went to the house of the Lord and he spread before the Lord and he laid the whole matter right before the Lord he spread that letter out before God and you know the rest of the story the angel of the Lord Isaiah 37 and 6 the angel of the Lord went forth and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and four score and five-thousand and when there rose early in the morning behold they were all dead God visited their need God took care of their trouble Meccano at the home yesterday and I said Nicky I'm going to the church and I had read this and I was preparing to preach this morning I read this story so I took my Bible and I took my iPad and I laid it right here in front of this pulpit and I went prostrate before the Lord and I laid out before him and I took his word and I took this message that I am preaching this morning I did it yesterday right here about 4:30 in fact those team and a couple of others came in that were helping lead us to worship this morning and I spread out my iPad before God I said God if Hezekiah could spread a letter before you to your Old Testament Saints I can take this iPad in tomorrow morning I can spread this word that I'm going to preach before you and God you can take this sickness and you can protect us and you can build a hedge around us you can God as we spread the word in front of you as we lay out before you that's what happens when you do as David did from the end of the earth will I cry unto thee when my heart is overwhelmed lead me to that rock that is higher than I ibaka standing under his rock he closed out his short Privett 'ok message with a BAC of 3:17 18 sort of where we are today although for even at the very worst of her back as life he said I will steal joy in the God of my salvation I will go to that rock that is higher than I make no mistake about it we face a vicious foe in the devil himself but today I'm asking you as an audience to run to that rock that is higher than I I'm asking all of us right now to begin to call the name of Jesus that name Jesus that man Christ Jesus who is your hiding place lay your needs before him lay your needs before him and call Jesus and call Jesus Mick and I were turning talking this morning and I said Mickey do you recall a particular incident that we've had in our life where that we've called the name of Jesus and sudden an instant was done I said I have a number but I want one of yours she said well it's instantly on my mind she said you and I were driving and we were following a group of young people and they'd been all over the road and they'd been across the yellow line and swerving she said all of a sudden the driver had gotten in the other line I guess they were drunk and he was headed right for another automobile to hit head-on and she said all of a sudden Anthony all I could say was Jesus and she said when I said Jesus I don't know what happened but that car immediately swerved almost like it was turning over swerved and missed that other car just by yards or probably I would say by feet because Mickey simply called the name of Jesus and when you looking into this camera for those of you wherever you meet most of us in our homes all you have to do right now so Jesus Jesus Jesus you're the wonder of it all or that song Jesus there's something about your name oh Jesus there is no name like that name and to those of you watching if you're in Alexandria if not whatever city or community you may be in call your posture or if you're in the city of Alexandria contact this church or combine this church we still have someone here 24 hours a day praying every second every minute of every hour of every day we're gonna keep that going they'll just be 1 or 2 we're gonna keep prayer going at this church you come by here and today you can be baptized in the name of Jesus and every sin you've ever committed can be washed away but not only that he places you into that covenant with Abraham Isaac and Jacob Matthew Mark Luke and John Simon Peter and Paul he circumcised as your heart and water baptism in the name of Jesus and your place in the Covenant of the people of the name so today it's the name if you hadn't been baptized in his name get baptized in his name today if you want to do it in your home get somebody baptized yet in the name of Jesus today because it's that name shut in with that name it is the hiding place Jesus Christ and his name that is above every name he can forgive us of all of our sins our great God thank you for the anointing that I have felt in this room this morning God with just myself being here in the sound people thank you God for what I have felt thank you for joining me this morning to propagate this words but God I ask you to move over us all I cast out all fear I command faith to begin operating right now to all the nations around the world let it begin to move right now let the Holy Ghost comfort everyone but particularly the people called by your name let the Holy Ghost that you said was our comforter let it comfort us now they'll be with us let those that haven't been baptized not tomorrow not when churches start back but those that haven't been baptized in your name let them find somebody to baptize them in the name of Jesus today because you are a hiding place and we have the opportunity to be shut in you god bless you great people god bless all of you that's watch from around the world thank you for being a part of poa this morning
