Faith Vs. Fear - Anthony Mangun

be seated until i get through here in just a few moments thank you for joining us tonight oh hallelujah thank you for your presence god there's nobody here but just me and you and the singers have left and just the sound people and the cameraman but your presence is here you're in our rooms you're in our homes you're in automobiles you have everything god you have everything and it's yours and we give you praise for that we put our faith and our confidence and our trust in you all fear has to go and faith is coming in because you have it you saw this before it ever begun you didn't cause it but you allowed it to happen and you've got control of everything and you know the end from the beginning and we put our faith and confidence in you the anointing we feel in this place right now the anointing that we feel in our homes right now i praise you for that great god you're such a great god i give you glory and honor for that welcome to our service welcome to we say church around the world not just here but god's presence is moving all over the place sunday morning it was just a phenomenal day not just at poa in the thousands that have viewed online but churches uh have online services thousands more that would probably watch on a normal sunday to all of our churches just done a great work of propagating the gospel and i'm thankful for that way god has moved sunday's going to be a very special day here a pastor will be preaching or excuse me pastor gentry will be preaching but at the end of his message it's going to be a very very moving thing we're going to involve all this that we built and we're going to close out the last 20 minutes to 25 minutes of our service sunday is going to involve portions of jesus the messiah and it's going to be very moving and plus having communion in our homes is just going to be a great great time let's turn to luke chapter 8 verses 22 through 25 and if you will forgive me tonight i am battling allergies and have a little voice situation going on but god's going to help us tonight luke chapter 8 verses 22-25 now it came to pass on a certain day that he went into a ship with his disciples and he said unto them let us go over to the other side of the lake and they launched forth but as they sailed he fell asleep and there came a great storm of wind on the lake and they were filled with water and they were in jeopardy and they came to him and they awoke him saying master master we perish then he arose and he rebuked the wind and the raging of the water and they ceased and there was a calm and he said to them where is your faith that's a great question he asked them that i am asking myself and you tonight where is your faith and they being afraid wondered saying one to another what manner of man is this for he commandeth even the winds and the waters that they obey him i'm going to add another scripture i don't know if they have it there i think maybe they do but if they don't numbers 13 verse 33 and there we saw the giants and the sons of anac which come of the giants and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers and so we were in their sight tonight for a few minutes i want to talk to you on the subject faith versus fear faith versus fear god blessed me this past january to be able to see my 70th birthday and the 70 years of life that god has given me to live in this great country never in the history of the world and particularly right now in america have we ever been where we are right now the coronis virus has this world uh in particular america in a state of fear president trump who i think doing great jobs with news conferences every day trying to give direction to our nation to our governor who i think is doing a great job has basically brought a pause to louisiana and asked us to be shut in in our own homes with all these directives and with the news that is coming across the airways there is a continual fear that grips us and has gripped our state and has gripped this nation nothing will make our problems and difficulties bigger magnify our problems greater than fear when you look at our text reading tonight you can see the whole nation of israel and they were despondent so they decided to send spies in and that was not god's original design never one time in god's early instructions did god tell the children of israel to send spies into the promised land he never said go spy out the land he told them this he said go in and take the land he didn't say go spy it out don't go see what kind of problems are there he said i have given you that land go take it so sending in the spies was a sure sign of the weakness and the fear of god's old testament church at that moment they had trust trusting in god and they began to fear the giants but they should have believed that god has his promise go into the land and take it they should not have sent the spies they should have moved by faith but it caused them to wonder 40 years because they had fear instead of faith it brings me to a great psalm tonight where the psalmist wrote in 106 15. he gave them their request but he sent them leanness into their soul it's the only time it would be a lot worse than leaniness is maybe what we're facing today in america that's why the psalmist picked up his pen and in 37-5 he said commit thy way unto the lord trust also in him and he shall bring it to pass to give credit though where's credit is due let me mention two of the twelve of that tribe and that is caleb and joshua caleb told the national officials he said let us go up at once and let us possess it for we are able to overcome this situation this is the same man who 40 years later at 85 years of age looked at that mountain that he was facing and said give me this mountain so he is facing this mountain of giants and caleb and joshua had already seen the fruit trees and the streams and the fertile valleys they knew about the grapes and the honey that was in the promised land and they knew about their great god the other 10 spies they saw giants and we were in our own sight not in the canaanite site but in our own sight they were viewing themselves as not able to be an overcomer without faith and without trust in god we don't want to put things in a perspective that is not pleasing to god we make the negative sometimes so big please don't misunderstand me tonight because i wrestled all afternoon in prayer of not any about trying to bring down the coronis virus i believe in it very strong it's why we're not having services i'm doing everything we can to protect those that i have the privilege to pastor so when i may say negative reports i'm not referring to the reports of the virus i'm re referring to what it does to us when we hear those reports for when the spies saw giants and when they saw themselves then as grasshoppers they failed to see how powerful that their great god was they failed to focus in on who he was the god of abraham isaac and jacob and joshua and caleb didn't cause trouble or create division it was just they determined by faith that they were not going to be shaken they determined by the grace of god that they were going to be overcomers and joshua and caleb said with our god we are able for we are a chosen generation we are a royal priesthood we are kings and priests under god and we're going to act like we are his children and god has all of this under control we're going in by faith and we are going to take the promised land so follow me here for just a few minutes it became a slogan when there was a mismatch instead of saying a heavy favorite the jews would talk about grasshopper and giant mentality if we were in our day and time in the sports world they were heavy heavy underdogs but what no one was factoring in was the god of the nation of israel and when you look as years past and goliath and the giant in israel it's a battle between the philistines and israel it's a battle against the devil's forces and god's forces it's a battle against a man that is six cubits and spaying tall somewhere around nine feet and nine inches against a little shepherd boy named david he had all this brass on his head he had a shield across his shoulders he had on a coat of mail this giant he had a spear in his hand he had everything covered probably the only thing visible maybe were just his eyes but get the picture that is the obstacle that is the picture that david walked up against he walked up against this giant that he is facing that is totally armored out with the exception of maybe a little place on his forehead and his eyes nine feet nine inches tall completely covered i got to reading this and studying this today i had something else i was going to preach but this got a hold of me this afternoon i began to look at that virus and the numbers that came out even as late as 5 30 this afternoon in louisiana if you're not aware of it louisiana's is one of the hotbeds of this virus and the numbers that we are facing in our parishes and particularly in southeast louisiana that we must pray for the numberings are staggering we look at a giant here that has the attention of the entire nation but david looks at something that's got the attention of him that has the children of god in fear that has the children of god and his brethren back into a corner and david walks up with a little slingshot and five smooth stones and he said i'm going to take care of this giant i'm going to bring it down and i'm going to take care of him a little runt of a fella is coming up against this giant now i'm not calling this virus a run but i am telling you as children of god we have nothing to fear i don't know what i have to face i don't know who's going to face this i don't know who all will have this virus we've as ministers in churches that have been affected by numbers that we are praying for it has nothing to do with the godliness or the prayer it's just a virus that's happening and it reigns on the just and the unjust but i am telling you that god is with us i am telling you tonight that god's hand is upon us and what i have come here tonight is preach against fear i have come here tonight to preach fear out of our lives i have come to take authority over fear and to build our faith the lord said in romans 12 12 3 that he hath dealt to every man the measure of faith all you need is just a measure of faith in every one of you that are watching me to you have been given a measure of faith and that little measure no matter how small it is it doesn't matter how small it may be small faith the smallest of faith can defeat anything that the devil has and you have been given the measure of faith i wish this afternoon i'm praying tonight i really wish that we could get a hold of this here was this giant of giants these ten spies that kadish barnia said we are like grasshoppers in their sight but david looked at that nine feet nine inch tall philistine and he said you're nothing but a grasshopper in my sight one person said he's a giant the other person said he's a grasshopper and tonight i am not preaching as i did sunday morning just about this virus i'm preaching about everything that you've been facing in your life the things that's been coming up against you this year or the last few months that's had you troubled or that's had your family trouble i'm preaching against that tonight i am telling you which that which you have allowed to become a giant that in god's eyes it's nothing but a grasshopper i know it's big to us mickey and i have faced things mick and i have situations we all have situations that at this moment they look like giants they look like things that we may never get over but in god's eyes he's saying it's nothing but a grasshopper those two people here they are faced with heartache burden huge trials one looks at it and says it's a giant and the other one looks at it and says it's a grasshopper same problem same heartache same overwhelming but one says it's a giant and the other says it's a grasshopper and tonight we're all looking at our circumstance let me put the virus over here for just a moment let's put it over here we all had our situations before this virus ever came along before this virus ever hit us uh four weeks ago we all had our situations that look like mountains and that looked like giants but god said tonight i want to adjust your faith and that that has been looking at you and you have been looking at it and it has looked like a giant i want you to know in my eyes that it's nothing but a grasshopper one's a giant one's a grasshopper get the picture here the ten men three and a half million folks behind them we cannot go up two to three million people depending on these ten spies and eight of them are saying we cannot go up we cannot ten of them saying we cannot go up it cannot be done but david that one man with the anointing and the blessing and the power of god on him he looks at that giant who has a spear in his hand who has a coat of mail covering his body who has his shield in front of him david looks across at that giant and shouting while looking at him and that giant shouting hey david he shouts out to him come to me i will give your flesh under the fowls of the air and the beast of the field come to me calling david come to me today i dealt with people in our church that have been laid off there are two people significant uh in our congregation that have been laid off for the last two weeks and they don't know when they will go back to work when you look at the children of israel they should have believed god because god never failed the children of israel and as i look at those of you our pastor and those of you that may be visiting by way of the web you let me tell you something god takes care of his people i don't care how bad the virus i don't care how bad and big the giant god takes care of his people manna rang down can you imagine for the children of israel when they were out just wondering god allowed it to rain manna you're wondering where it's going to come from god has a plan already in work for you tonight god has a plan for those of you that's been laid off already at work tonight for those of you that don't know how you're going to pay a rent because you're not getting a paycheck god already has a plan for you he reigns manna down from heaven those children of israel had a rock that rolled along with them i told the church one time that may be where rock and roll music got started that rock rolled across with them and all they had to do like a water fountain was go over to that rock and out of that rock came water one man david he looks back at that philistine that was shouting at him he looked at him and said let me tell you something you come to me with your sword and with your spear you come to me with your shield but i come to thee in the name of the lord of hosts the god of the armies of israel whom thou hast defied this day notice notice he declaring victory before it ever happened that's what i'm telling you tonight you may not see it you may not know where it's coming from david declared it before it ever happened he said this day not next week not next month but this day this day will the lord deliver thee into my hand i will smite thee i will take thy head from thee i will give thy carcasses of the hostess who listens this day under the fowls of the air and the wild beast of the earth that all the earth may know that there is a god in israel he said let me tell you something goliath me and god's getting ready to take care of you and all of israel is going to know that it wasn't a church it wasn't an organization it wasn't a preacher but that it was god and when that philistine accepted the challenge and drew near to meet david i love what the bible said david hasted and ran towards him david didn't back up david didn't said it's going to overtake me david didn't say i'm fearful god you got to help me i know you're with me you brought me to the david said no no you coming to me i'm coming to you and the bible said he began to haste towards him he ran towards that giant and the philistines of army and he put that hand in his bag and he got out his weapon of the word the name and the blood and the holy ghost and the gift of faith he reached in what had brought him through so many trials in tribulation he reached in and took a hold of that that god had supplied for him in past days he remembered when he took care of a lion he remembered when he took care of the bear and he said if god can let me take care of a lion and if god can let me take care of a bear god can let me take care of this giant and if we could pause a moment and you could think of the victories that god has given you if you could think of the bears that you and god had slain and the lions that you and god have slain through the power of this word when your back was against the wall you picked up this book you picked up this word you begin to read those psalms and life begin to come then you use that blood that was placed on every door in the children of israel and they passed by them if they had the blood the death angel it can hold the death angel away the power of the blood and then we've got the power of the holy ghost inside of us and then that name that is above every name david took that sling and he put that stone in there and he slung it and he sunk that rock into the forward of that giant and the bible said it fell upon the earth and david prevailed over it a sling with a stone and he smote the philistine and slew him but there was no sword in the hand of david therefore david ran and he stood he got on top of that giant he stood on top of that that had just been intimidating the entire nation of israel and had just intimidated all of david's brother he stood on top of it and he drew goliath sword and he slew him cut off his head therewith and when the philistines saw that their champion was dead they fled david slew the giant he knocked him out with the stone but he slew the giant with the own sword of that giant god can take this coronavirus god can take what you faced a year ago what you've been facing the last few months and god can take that and you can take that from the enemy that's been coming against you and you can cut the head off of that devil or demon or that circumstances that had been coming against you david said i face giants nine feet nine inches i face you in the name of the lord my god is able my god is able and he hurled that thing and hit him in the only place that was exposed because god has a missile system that is second to none and god is with you if he can direct a stone to the fart of a giant that's only a little bit of his body is exposed my god can move into your situation and my god can move in our great nation and he can help us with this virus that has turned loose on this nation ahab and jezebel they called israel great harm i love this story today i love the way he just took a sling david did he just went and it took off and god guided it i love the story of ahab and jezebel they had been causing israel great harm and you know how ahab was killed it's amazing when you read that story in first kings 34 it wasn't some great warrior that slew it wasn't some great warrior from god's army that slew ahab let me tell you what happened a man according to first kings 22 34 he just put an error in a and a bow and the bible said he drew it back adventure and he let it go it wasn't aimed at anybody the bible said he drew that bow in error at venture and god took that era and he guided it to ahab and it pierced ahab and he died there if god can take a man shooting a bow adventure if god can take an arrow that's been shot up into the air and can lead it to israel's number one enemy that was intimidating them you let me tell you something with this word and with the name and with the blood you can pull that back tonight and god will take it from there and whatever giant that's in your life it's got to fall i know that there are many watching tonight sunday thousands watched throughout the week to which we're thankful for and some of you have little problems and some of you have huge problems but i'm like the 10 men now i'm not gonna say we're like grasshoppers i'm gonna be like david i'm gonna say these are nothing but grasshoppers they're not giants they're grasshoppers david said the giant you're a grasshopper what's the difference does that mean goliath was smaller than the other giants no it just means that david's eyes david's view of what he was facing was much larger than that particular giant whether you look at it through your eyes your human ability or through the eyes of god don't forget what he said in genesis 18 and 14 is anything is anything too hard for the lord you know in that particular scripture that's when god told abraham and sarah that they were going to have a son and the bible said that sarah laughed sarah was full of unbelief but at 100 years of age the bible said when she was past being the woman that god allowed them to father and mother a son she laughed but god ended up getting the last life because it fathered that great nation and god gave us what we have tonight this wonderful truth so what are we facing what are you up against tonight what onslaught are you there my god laughs at impossibilities it's a pastor it's impossible this marriage is impossible my situation is impossible let me tell you tonight my god laughs at impossibilities so tonight take your fear take your fear and cast it aside and pick up your faith and know that by the faith of god like zerubbabel you can look at that mountain and say be thou remove tonight i tell all of you that are watching i tell you great pastors in your congregation that are watching tonight you've not been able maybe to have church maybe your finances have been affected i'm going to tell you god's got it pastor god's got poa god's got your church god sees all of this and we cannot allow fear to overtake us we can't allow this giant fear that is sweeping across america to invade the church we must have faith this is our greatest day coming in the middle of this and out of this we will have the greatest revival that the apostolic church has ever seen i personally believe it will be the revival that brings back the king i believe god is shaping everything up so pastors don't lose faith keep your faith god is with you those of you business owners that you don't know what's going to happen when you open back up your doors when everything goes back to being halfway normal let me tell you god's got it you've been a supporter of his kingdom god's got it so i'm going to tell you tonight what they tell a paratrooper the first time before he jumps when that man with his parachute on his back and he's never jumped before right before his jump the last thing they say to him when he gets ready to jump is don't look down always look up before you jump don't look down always look up and tonight to the great congregation that's joining us here for our wednesday night worship that's what i have come to tell you tonight don't look down you may see a world that's right with pain and disease and fear you may see a nation that may be in trouble it seemed like all nations with a stuff financially it looks like we are full of pessimism and gloom and corruption in heartache and headache but tonight i am telling you that are watching don't look down look up don't look down at quran don't look down at the virus look up to jesus don't look down on devastation don't look down on cancer don't look down on satan looking like he's having a heyday but look up to jesus for if you look up you will see the god that has filled this book full of promises that he would never leave us or forsake us and as i said sunday morning if he knows how many hairs are on my head and if he goes to the sparrow's funeral you let me tell you something he can take care of us now in this critical hour of our great nation of america if you will look up you will see the god of david and he will help us if we will look up he will help us fail our giant he will help us bring down our giant if you look up you will see the god of elijah when they told him that they were going to destroy he said well let's see which god is god he said let's build an altar build it any way you want to build it and they built it and they called on their god and the gods never answered but elijah said now wait a minute before i call oh my god let me tell you something let's not just build an altar here i want you to go get 12 barrel fulls of water i want you to pour all that water on this wood and on this sacrifice pour everything right there if you would i want you to dig some ditches because i want to feel this whole place i want to get it as wet as we can get it and they soaked that altar with water and he began to pray that short prayer and the bible said fire began to fall from heaven and it consumed that sacrifice that man elijah he prayed fire down from heaven and he prayed rain down for heaven and i'm going to tell you if an old testament prophet god will honor his prayer you let me tell you the people that's called by his name the people that have been coveted with him the people that he robbed himself for and came to this earth and died for if he honored the prayer of that great old testament prophet and sent fire and reign you let me tell you you can look up tonight by faith and you can speak the word of god and god is going to answer if you look up you're going to see three men standing there if you look up you're going to see shadowrack meshach abedin they go and you're going to see them standing there when a king said we're going to throw them in bow they wouldn't bow heated seven times hotter they had a tremendous giant in front of them have we gotten here and forgotten those old testament stories the people of the name the people that are followers of christ have we gotten here and forgotten what god has done he said heal it seven times hotter shadowrack said we're not bowing we're not going down he said throw em in and when they threw them in that fire the fire couldn't touch them they came out of the fire victorious and i don't know what fire you're facing and i don't know what you're up against and i don't know what comes against you and i don't know what fear you may have tonight but i am standing before you tonight telling you my god is with us my mother i didn't want to do it but she insisted that i come eat with her today because i'm trying to even practice distancing from my mother at 95 years young but i went over there and mother and she's watching tonight and i love you mother but mother had cooked me a great meal and and we ate and uh we were talking we was on a phone with a minister friend of mine and we were talking about well sister mangan take care of yourself and mother told both of us said let me tell you something you can't threaten me with heaven she said you threatened me with a lot of things but you can't threaten me with heaven and i'm going to keep on walking and i'm going to protect myself and i'm going to do what they tell me to do and i'm going to stay shut in with god but she said let me tell you something if that would come upon me it'll just have to come upon me because to die is gain and you can't threaten me with heaven so i'm going to keep looking up you will see the god who caused walls to fall down jericho god said joshua's given it to you he walks there and there's walls they say in history that the walls were so thick that they drove chariots around on them he walked to those walls and god had given an order it looked so crazy march around these walls one time a day for six days then the seventh day they will fall march seven times and on the sixth time can you imagine they had done it for six days they had been laughed at they thought they were crazy but they just kept on marching god's with us god didn't promise it was coming down on the sixth day on the sixth prayer he didn't tell us it was coming down he said it was going to be on the seventh day on the seventh time around so when they began that seventh time around they blew the trumpet trumpets and the bible said that those walls fell flat god fulfilled what he said look at me tonight god's got your situation and god is with you don't stop your marching there may not be a crack in the wall you may have been marching you may have been praying for that child or for that marriage or for that situation you may have been praying for it for six days and there's not even a crack you may be on the sabbath day and you may be on the sixth lap and you're looking maybe somewhere in that wall there's least a crack or something's moved surely a stone has moved but nothing is gone you just keep on marching cause when you get to that seventh time that wall is coming down i began to weep when i was studying this afternoon i know mother this will minister to you but i'll never forget in the hospital room i told you sunday morning i stayed with my dad when i got home from overseas uh i stayed i preached on a sunday morning and i told our pastoral team i said i'm going to move in my dad's room i'm not going to leave either god heals him or takes him and i was there until early thursday morning when god promoted him only left one time to go to the nurse's station but i'll never forget one morning he was laying there and i opened up and the sun was coming up about 5 30 or 6 in the morning whatever time it was and i said daddy isn't this a beautiful yeah yeah his mouth was pulled from that stroke his left side was knocked out he couldn't move anything on his left side i said daddy look at this he said yeah yeah he said i'll tell you something he said god called me here and he said when god called me here he said i walked into that city and i said north give up and i said south give up and i said east give up and i said wes give up and he said i bind the principalities powers of the city of alexandria and we begin to plead the blood and the reason why that those of you are watching this not from poa that you've been blessed by bltt it's not anthony or mickey mangan it's been ga or vesta mangan because in 1950 when i was just seven months old my father and mother walked into this city where pentecost was not very well publicized at that moment they walked into that city and my daddy said i plead the blood north give up south give up ease give up west give up and now you look at this congregation and you know what's here those of you that's been the blt or those of you that see this online you see what god did through my mother and father and the way that god has blessed this place i'm gonna tell you i don't know what you're facing but you walk to it and say north give up south give up ease give up west give up you let go of my circumstance devil you've had your fingers around that long enough you give up to it if you love you're going to see god you're going to see god that not only took care of hebrew children you're going to see god that not only brought down walls you're going to see a god where a man that said follow me and he walked out and they get to the red sea and there's the mountains on each side of them there's pharaoh's army behind them mountains on side red sea in front of them and the people complaining now you've got us out here to die what's going to happen now and moses simply took that rod and he lifted it up over that water and the bible said that water went back and they walked across the river that red sea they walked across that red sea on dry ground to the other side and it came back and flooded on faith on that army and it slew them because god always takes care of those who operate from faith instead of fear you look up and you see the god who was with joshua and joshua was winning a tremendous victory and joshua was just about done but he said god i need a little more time but it's going to get dark and we haven't totally consumed the enemy and he looked at that sun he said sun stand still and that sun stopped the only time in the history of our world that that has happened but one man of god that quit being moved by fear and started being moved by faith he said son stand still i need just a few more hours and if you're watching me tonight or if you're watching me later on in the week and you're watching through archives let me tell you look at it today and tell god and look at the devil and say you're going to be defeated and look back at god and say god you're fighting with me we're going to do this in just a few more hours if you look up you'll see jacob and those angels descending going back and forth if you look up you'll see us coming to the river of jordan and joshua and the children of israel and they had the ark of the covenant upon them and the bible said that river was at flood time it wasn't just a river it was at flood time but he took that ark of the covenant and he walked out into that river and the bible says that water went to his in the theater wherever that was that's where it went and they walked across on dry ground if you look up that's what you see if you look up in second kings 6 5 and 6 there was a man that had a barred axe and he was chopping down a tree and when he chopped down that tree the axe head that he had buried came off of the axe handle and it landed in the water and it sank and god's prophet came along this is unbelievable said cut a stick off of that limb he cut that stick off and the prophet said throw that into the water and he took that stick you're talking about the miracles of god and you're wondering if god can take care of us and you're wondering if god can get us through coronavirus and you're wondering if god can take care of your finances god allowed that man to take that stick and he threw that stick in the water and here comes that axe head that was in the bottom of that lake or that river whatever it was it comes up popping all them bubbles and it gets on top and now we don't have plastic here we don't have styrofoam here it's iron iron that is all of a sudden on top of the water and then the bible says that the act read it the axe head began to swim can you imagine looking at an axe head and it's swimming like this back to the man that had borrowed that handle and it's swimming back to that shore where he was with that axe handle can you imagine those kind of things taking place can you imagine that and then we wonder that if god can take care of an axehead and he can cause iron to float let me tell you if he can cause an axe head to swim god can walk in to our situations god can walk in to your moment pastor god can walk into your church finances right now god can walk into your job right now god can walk into those of you that's been laid off and he can cause that axe head to begin to swim for when you look up you will see the unlimited the limitless power of almighty god that is available to every single person that's watching us tonight as i begin to close let me say this you may be facing a single problem or you may be watching tonight and you have several problems if that problem is the illness look at it through the eyes of god and say just a few moments ago i looked at you as a giant but now i'm looking at you as a grasshopper if your financial situation has been challenged then i'm telling you tonight look at your finances i know this is crazy but i want you to take your checkbook in your pocketbook or get your purse right now and lay your hands on it and say god your eyes are on this i have supported your kingdom i supported you with tithes and with offerings now god you look at this and you take care of it it depends on how you're looking at what you're holding look at everything that you're facing tonight look at it through the eyes of god look at it through the god of strength look at it through the name and through the word don't say with the ten men it can't be done don't let fear take you over faith is challenging fear faith is saying tonight you won't overcome faith just say tonight in your spirit aloud it's just a grasshopper and god can do it instantly it doesn't take well i prayed about it for 50 years i don't care how long you've been praying about it i am telling you tonight under the anointing of god that he can take your fear and if you will turn it to faith that that you prayed about five minutes or 50 years god can take care of it instantly i was driving into my home this afternoon and mickey could they man me if she was here to amend me but there's no one in here but me and the sound man and jack and uh but she can tell you i've driven in my driveway when you're 30 and 40 let me help some of my younger followers right now when your 30s and 40s and even maybe some 50s you don't notice this but when you get to 70 you begin to notice things like this and so i've been driving in my house and one week and a half ago let me go ahead and stretch it let's say it's even two weeks i don't even believe it was two weeks in fact i stretched it to a week and a half but two weeks ago my trees were barren i mean it was just wood you see it in wintertime there was nothing on it and there's one little fella tree up front it's the closest one in my driveway that's closest to bayou repeats and it it hadn't been budding about three days ago watch and here it comes and when i drove in there this afternoon all those trees that two weeks ago zero leaves they're all now my yard with the sun on it was full of shadows two weeks ago the sun was all it was with just a little stub shadowing on the now you can already see this it's all shadows because the trees have so many leaves upon them in your situation it seemed like winter is never going to end seems like that god just seemed never going to answer that prayer but tonight pastor tonight great church people tonight p.o.a that i have the privilege of pastoring let me tell you something it's getting ready to bloom and it's going to be a revival in our lives individual lives it's going to be a revival in our personal homes and it's going to be a revival in our individual churches around the world it's going to be an apostolic revival in the middle of this thing and when this thing is over like we have never seen so i'm not down i'm not discouraged i'm not going to allow fear to take over i'm coming with my faith tonight and i'm saying fear you're going to die for my god has a hold of it mick and i every night being everything's closed and shut down and we we've been shut in with god and shut in with one another and we both need a relief to go out and do something so every night seven o'clock 7 30 we've gotten in our car we didn't stop anywhere but we've got in our car and drove out and we've literally drove every night around the city of alexandria and my preacher friend mike williams will laugh about it said yeah you could probably do that in five minutes well it takes a little longer than that but mickey and i takes out and we drive all the way down to lee street bridge and go all the way down around town come out all the way around macarthur drive out around england drive all the way around those places and we start just pleading the blood mick and i have driven it was something that we didn't plan it's just something that evolved and tonight before we go to bed we're going to take a drive and we're going to pray over this city and we're going to pray over central louisiana because i'm going to pray for all of y'all but particularly over the city that i pastor and the great poa people we're going to make a circle around the city of alexandria and i'm going to plead the blood and god's going to give our church and god's going to give our families that you're shut in with right now and god's going to give you individually the greatest revival that the church has ever seen praying for you tonight praying god be with you praying god's hands rest upon you pray the glory of the lord may fill you and his shekinah glory may be with you team you can come on up here i want us to end with singing today but i'm going to pray our great god bless us let your hand rest upon us let your hand be with us bless every pastor bless every church bless the head of every home whether it be a single mom single father whether it be a family be with them and touch them let your hand rest upon them let the glory of the lord feel our lives and feel our homes and feel our churches i cast out all fear i pray against fear i release faith right now i release faith to go in the name of jesus i command
