Stardew Valley but I made it Insanely Hard

welcome to the stardew valley master chef challenge this challenge only has one rule and that is that i can only sell cooked dishes i thought it'd be a cute little idea and it ended up being stupidly hard anyways please enjoy my suffering also subscribe if you want to i don't know i don't mind i don't mind if you subscribe i'm going to allow myself to sell stuff that isn't a cook dish until i can upgrade my house because as far as i know otherwise this challenge would be straight up impossible this might be the dumbest idea i've ever had i was trying to think of fun ideas for like a little challenge and the first thing i was gonna do thank god i vetoed it what if i'm not allowed to leave my own farm and then i thought about it and was like wow that sounds like the most boring thing to watch so i will not be doing that unless a bunch of you in the comments are like that sounds incredible this is gonna be hard cause as far as i know like 99 of the recipes in the game are uh give you a profit loss this is for you linus linus is gonna be our first target for friendship i don't know why i chose the word target that's terrifying mainly because at three hearts he gives you the recipe for sashimi which is one of the only profitable recipes in the entire game so we definitely want that i think the other two people we're mainly going for are going to be clint and demetrius for uh reasons that i already forgot ego baby boy no don't eat it good lord this for you i will i'm gonna skip your cutscene this for you never mind okay i know we're trying to like save up for ten thousand gold so it might sound stupid but i'm buying the new rod i think overall it is a good investment i think it'll make more money than it costs hopefully either that or i'll look like an idiot [Music] i like our only way to make money yeah let's do that dougie and our parsnips are ready let's see how many mixed seeds we can get let's just scythe all of the bushes on the farm we got 22 mixed seeds so i guess let's just throw those down oh cutscene bye bye all right let's go mining oh god oh god oh god another cut scene i'm gonna do the spring foraging bundle since i want those 30 spring seeds i definitely want to level up my foraging skill since once you get level 10 everything you pick off the ground is iridium quality which should help a lot with friendship let's go ahead and make a scarecrow before i inevitably forget marty has a quest for a seaweed so we should probably try to grab that for some friendship points there we go here you go and it's our first sunday which means queen of sauce stir fry boom there's a recipe today's marlux's birthday i don't know what he likes but i think i think the earth crystal is a universal like birthday did i get any friendship yeah one heart let's go on please one more floor i'm begging you i know it's more in the morning i'm gonna i'm totally prepared to just pass out i don't care at this point i just need one more floor oh god 140 i have 20 more minutes please i've broken almost every rock unreal absolutely unreal i broke almost every single rock on that entire floor no ladders that was by far the most unlucky day i've ever had in the mines that was ridiculous it's for you all right we got our first sprinklers we're gonna hook up some of these spring seeds our farm is looking lovely all right 80 more spring seeds from our first little harvest there egg festival time we're gonna buy one strawberry plant because strawberries are demetrius's favorite and we are trying to become friends with him boom boom oh man you kids suck at this and the winner of this year's egg hunt is as if there was even a question all right another sunday which means queen of sauce baby and we got coleslaw cool all right we're going fishing today we need some money robin this is your axe are we now friends yeah we are let's go oh my god we finally did it 10 584 gold which means shut up which means we can finally upgrade our house and start actually cooking stuff so now this marks the point right here where i'm no longer allowed to sell anything that isn't a cook dish which means i'm gonna be dirt poor for so long oh shoot dude i'm screwed i can't cook anything oh man i don't think i thought this through also i just don't realize that tuesday is the one day robin's is closed so that's kind of unfortunate okay so today is actually the day we upgrade the house all right it's time upgrade house yes oh my god guys we actually did it can you believe it we raised ten thousand gold in stardew valley what i mean like we need a medal or something okay now is where it actually gets hard so now i can't sell anything except cooked dishes and right now our only way of getting profitable dishes is to grow corn which is not available until the summer fry eggs which we can't get unless we buy a coop for 4 000 gold and then some chickens for more gold or sashimi which we would be able to do but we need to get linus to four hearts so i kind of don't know what we're supposed to do right now mark my words we are going to end this episode having sold at least one cooked dish that's our goal for this episode i'm not ending this episode until we sell at least one cooked dish all right so i just did a little research and good news bad news so the bad news is that besides sashimi uh we're screwed for spring but the good news is that i only actually have to get linus to three hearts instead of four to get the sashimi so ideally we'll be able to get that pretty soon and then we'll be in the clear so i guess it would make sense just to fish every day and slowly stockpile fish and then turn them all into sashimi when i unlock that recipe all right the upgrade's done oh my god and there it is our luxurious kitchen where our only recipes are fried egg and tortilla our first goal is gonna oh more forgivables our first goal is gonna be to get um a coop going so we can get fried eggs but we're not gonna be able to make any money until we can start selling sashimi so we need to go talk to linus wow what a beautiful sight okay so we are currently unable to do anything until we get linus up to three hearts which probably won't happen until monday and i could spend the next two days fishing um but i think i'm probably just gonna sleep through the next two days oh yes level five forging uh gatherer yay sunday the 21st we're gonna check the queen of sauce and then go to bed this is for you linus it's a great gift thank you friendship so elliot posted a request for a gold bar which we do have um but i'm not gonna complete the request for just a little reason that i'm not gonna mention all right linus let's have a little chat here you go great gift thank you you're welcome let's go we've done it now tomorrow morning we can finally make money with cooked dishes all right it is the flower dance but much more importantly we have a letter in the mail new cooking recipe sashimi let's grab all of our fish and let's get cooking 68 sashimi and that 68 sashimi is going in the bin oh my god 5100 wow that's oh they're 75 each look at they'll be 50 each oh that's actually pretty good we're gonna go ahead and get started on the silo since we're gonna want to coop pretty soon we're putting it let's go kill that stupid tree die try again and this time we're good more forgivables i can't sell any of these so i don't know what to do with them i'm only growing them for the experience so i'm gonna have all these leftover i guess they're good for gifts okay two days worth of fish makes [Music] 92 sashimi that better sell for a lot 6900 all right hello there all right mushrooms or bats what would be better for cooking recipes yeah i guess the mushrooms we have a game breaking five foragibles to pick what should we do today our silo is done oh let's start our coop upgrade we have actually we have a lot of money wow oh we need some wood let's do some wood cutting our summer crop will consist entirely of corn mainly because we're just gonna mass produce tortillas it's kind of funny that this challenge is called the master chef challenge and the majority of our profit is just gonna be for making tortillas all right it's coop time first things first let's actually go check if it's anyone's birthday i keep completely forgetting to check birthdays you have a quest for alex uh copper bar yeah definitely and then uh it's emily's birthday all right what does emily like all right after checking the wiki she likes pretty much every gemstone in existence so that's convenient in other news as of today we hit 1 000 subscribers so that's insane i've been making youtube videos on this channel for almost a year uh in general for over two years now uh so it's crazy that after all that time
