Stanley Adventure Cook Set mods and stuff you don't need to do

hey everybody Trump sketch again and I'm joining here so much in the back packing area that I just got to share some videos do some reviews show you what I've done right show it over done wrong and today he's no different today I'm gonna review the Stanley cook 750ml Stanley cook adventure cooks it and it comes a great stainless steel package without this stuff has these two awesome insulated cups they're really thick pretty heavy as far as backpackers are concerned I'm not really a backpacker per se I'm just a gear enthusiast in an outdoor lover and just kind of getting into the backpack scene so these are gonna go on my RV I've got I've got a camper and they're really nice insulated but they're heavy their bulky they're kind of useless for backpacking as far as I'm concerned there's other options for cups so those are gonna go on the RV no problem Saturday morning coffee today I'm going to talk about something that's been talked about so many times but I'm just going to show you my the way I'll use it what I'm doing what I've learned what I shouldn't have done and maybe you won't make same mistakes I did hopefully if you don't have the system and you're looking to get started I hope I'll talk you into buying this because it's such a great value for what it is and I'm super pleased with it so starting off Stanley cook adventure cook set comes with a plastic handle I watched a bunch of YouTube videos because that's what I do when I get new gear and I said to replace the plastic handle with a metal ring off your keychain did it done it good if things make sense I like that I also cut this handle I'm not even sure why I did this somebody on YouTube did it bunch of people on YouTube did it I did it I actually do not recommend doing this I don't see a reason to do this and literally every single time I move this handle I have to worry about it popping off and there's really no reason to take this off so I ground off I'm guessing 3/8 of an inch or maybe a little less there's no reason to do that so don't don't ground that off the risk it's gone of your pot and I've not found a reason to take this off so I don't really regret it but I'm going to tell my friends and tell you all that this is not I needed modifications I love mods i'm a mod addict so showing you the contents of my pot it holds everything and literally I can get a do-rag in here bandana whatever you want to call it I can throw that in there too no problem and actually I recommend it's ok I'll do that but for the video I didn't put it in here but starting off Jetboil this Jetboil fits really well in this cook pot but it fits actually some bigger ones to fit to this cook pot is absolutely amazing it's bigger than you think it's bigger than the others its competitors it's actually a pretty much a superior product in my opinion but so this thing holds more than your other 750 say at Oaks I owned a stoke 750 middle pot with Bell handle and lid and I sent it back because I had I already owned this and the 750 toks was just pointless I literally had nothing to do with it unless I just threw this away and I like this so much that I actually sent the tokes back and I got something else I've got a bunch of toke stuff and I love it but this right here isn't gonna stay in my system I love it so this fence some of the some of the other brands that look like this fire maple is a little bigger I'm told that fits too in these but not in the toast what is this by my fire [Music] feral dog I did a review a little while back love free check it out that review on the tub key titanium spoon and fork and also reviewed the toks spork that's supposedly the same size but I've got it in a cup upstairs somewhere now I don't use it this right here this Keith I think smaller version it's perfect for me so I love this thing I've got a few of them MSR pocket rocket two needs no introduction this thing Falls up really nice it's super dependable the 3-way little fence here if you got wind coming one way you still got two sides that are burned really good and hot and not blowing as bad worst case scenario wind's coming this way you still got one here and I just recommend you turn your stove a little bit and use this as a windscreen because that's how it's designed looking at getting the pocket rocket deluxe but it's kind of hard to do whenever I've got this it works really well and it's smaller so there's lots of other brands out there the BRS 3000t Titanium's a little guy super light easy to pack but I mean I've got this I don't really need those other things excuse me fuel cane hundred gram fuel canister fits well in these it comes in and out pretty easily I usually just hit on the ground but there's you new fuel can it's all the way to the bottom and then I just hide these under there I learned the trick of hiding things under the fuel can on other cups really on this pot do not need to be real conscious about space because you got plenty of it in this but I do store the striker and Amy bic under my fuel can but honestly it would fit on top but I just got used one time to maximize space so that's that I like I said I'm big stalks fan so love the topes bags they're stretchable they're kind of uses koozies you draw them up real good and tight and hold everything in I really like those I keep the lid in the bottom under my topes 550 new ultra light version I think new ultra light just means thinner gauge handles but this is a great little pot cup I use it a lot so I like keep a windscreen this is actually a pie pan or a casserole pan quite large and using Bennett however you want to bend it six ways from Sunday to form a windscreen you can't that's why I've got such a large piece and I've got room so why not cuz I'm not I'm not a true hacker I'm just weekend warrior an overnighter mostly just a hiker with my family and I just like gear so I got into this but why not wait doesn't mean a whole lot to me that's why I don't care to have this stainless steel pot here last thing I want to say was you two told me that I need to drill holes in this and buy a 6-inch mouth spreader from Walmart or whatever and that I could hang this over a fire that's really cool but to be honest this is such thick stainless steel you don't actually need to hang this over fire you can put this in coals you can put this on the fire by the fire whatever so this is just a little kind of a extra measure that to be honest you really do not need and I did it because when I first got into it I I was trying to do I love montz and so I was trying to do all the mods that were known to man for this part but to be honest I'm gonna recommend to all my friends and all of you watching don't do this Mike it's it's six seven bucks five bucks and you're actually lose about 25 milliliters or more of pasady in your pot and there's really no reason to draw holes in this pot I'm probably gonna buy another one just cuz but anyway my whole channel is built on me kind of telling people what I've done wrong what I've done right what I think is right I think works what I've seen working the field and just kind of having fun and sharing my store with you all so
