Stained Glass

looks like mud i don't think i'm gonna use that one i have no idea what color that is but that's ugly [Applause] so so so oh that looks crappy all right so this is because i was turning it way too slow at like all 500 rpms i suppose sort of a collaboration not that we are sending anything back and forth between each other but it's based on a project that i did uh a few weeks back another couple months back or so we'll uh put that over here in the corner it's the uh the pecan shell one where you could see through them and it kind of looked like stained glass so moonpower creations and i are doing a i guess it's a collab i don't know if you want to call it collab we're gonna kind of down uh work on the same lines there and do a stained glass looking project um now i've been kind of you know taking my whole sweet time now ken's hassling me because i think i'm undone yet he does so that's what i'm doing everything you've seen in here is total boat 2-1 slow set resin and i did not expect it to be that hard when i was hitting it that hammer but anywho i'm going to get this shaped up and not do a whole lot of talking we'll put ken moon's moon pie creation channel right here and we'll probably put it at the end and all that good stuff too so uh i want to get this flattened out get my mortise in here i'm going to try to get a shape on it here for what i want because i kind of want to cut into all the the the pieces i have here you can you can kind of see them but i know i did the galaxy look again but there's a reason for that and hopefully it stands out all the colors stand out in amongst all of it so let's uh let's get with that i wonder if it'll turn to 1200. all right it's going to fly out let me hide when did i hit the reverse button look at that turned really good [Music] that wasn't good oh you can't really see him got all kinds of colors in there from whatever i was hitting in here all right so the object i'm going to do i know here i am still talking again um i'm going to try to just make this round because this is what i need to stay around here and then i get the rest of my shape so i'm going to try to get that around there and then i'll work my shapes into it and we'll go from that there [Music] wow they're so pastelly looking well you see all the different colors in there ah i like it can't see them at all in there but look at that looks like easter in there looks purple over there all right well none of those are nice and straight for me [Music] [Music] so [Music] can't see these colors i can't see them in the monitor oh i sucked it all off me it blows all those right off me i can't see the colors in the monitor so i don't know if you guys can see all the different colors and it's really cool looking all right well we're getting there we are getting there all right i'm gonna sharpen this tool up i gotta and you've seen that i uh hot glued these down so i'm gonna go i'm gonna go into them a little bit further to make sure that i get out of the hot glue because i don't want the hot glue on my project i got to go down a little bit more into into it here and then we'll shape this more more to look like a bell i guess uh [Applause] [Music] look at that this just blows my mind the colors that are in this imagine what this is going to look like look at that i know you all can't see the colors like i can or at least i can't see them like i can how's that all right so uh i'm going to straighten this up a little bit better come back in we'll put a mortise in this and uh maybe we'll do some sanding maybe not i don't know we'll see [Music] and the other thing going through my brain right now is taste the rainbow look at that you guys got it all over you all right all right so i'm going to kind of scoot through some of this here because that's a lot of cutting to do and let me get this sharp come back in a bit here [Music] i'm not sure what's in that cherry but it just ate that quick hurt me too must be some dirt right there or something right in there anyways because i can cut everything else till that spot right there so resorted to carbide [Music] [Music] uh [Music] what do you think of that i have no idea why that's so hard i i've pretty much eaten this up now i might be able to turn a little bit more pretty thick so i'm going to try to get rid of that right there just that little bit of wood and everything else should go pretty easy i may continue with carbide put a new one on so i can cut down in there with it a whole lot easier than trying to use the bowl gouge in there oh all right almost got another a little bit left there and there it's pretty thin [Music] okay so that's a hole and those are what i'm looking for there there those are the diamonds that i put down in the bottom first that's what i'm looking for so we're almost there i i kind of got to go into here a little bit still [Music] i think i can live with that now you see that you can kind of see them i don't go too much further i'll be going through that so try to flatten it out oh good yeah this is gonna take a minute so when i get done sanding this we'll be back and put the resin coat on it see how that works teenager.com and clean it up a little bit idea what we're looking at we'll let that dry off while i get set up two to one fast set and my goofy little brush hopefully there ain't no bristles gonna hang out in this one this is the one i lost bristles in all right hopefully this works out okay there's actually no wood in here so should be all right so that looks pretty good i think are you guys ready for this oh yeah yes i am oh i didn't like that hopefully that only cracked right there where it went through and not anywhere else oh it did all the way across it ha all the way across it i can see it right there it's okay hopefully it's just in there so pretty much what i wanted uh what's the exception of some smooches in it from us touching it and wiping it it uh i lost some of the colors and so unless the greens look yellow but it seems there's a lot of yellow and like i only got a couple pieces of orange and i don't know where the green went because i had green in there also and there's like one blue but you know you never know because it started off trying to get the shape what we're gonna lose now i was guessing that the size the entire time of the build i don't think i did too bad it looks pretty um it's scale i guess to size it doesn't look disportion it was a fun build so um i know ken did one of these and we'll put his video over there in the corner i put his channel back earlier i'll also put that in the description below and i'll put it at the end of the video a link to his video his channel all that stuff will be at the end that was kind of fun uh i suppose i was in a hurry to get this done because i thought ken already had his done and uh that weren't the case apparently he was ribbing me for a week and he wasn't even done with it yet so i'll put uh maybe
