Spirit-Filled Living in the Last Days - Pastor John Koe

[Music] hello hello wow you know it amazes me that for many of you i'm only seeing you for the first time since half a year ago wow talk about a new normal right talk about a new normal this is so abnormal but i want to give thanks to god uh i just heard about this testimony thing i got so many things to give testimony about this year's with a wonderful year and and um we'll keep it for the other for for that for the project but i do want to give thanks to god for my for for for my mom uh some of you may know uh two days ago my mom uh my 93 year old mom had a really bad fall and uh and i was preaching at that point when i received the information was very shocked she had a she took a walk at a and she went out of her flat to take a walk and then she was coming back and then she had a very bad fall she was walking in those common corridor on the second floor of her flat towards the elevator the leaf that can take her up to her apartment and then she just fell and she knocked her head twice over and she started bleeding and she couldn't get up and she was struggling there for like half an hour and no one walked by and you know what she did she dragged herself and she crawled all the way to the lift to try to get out you know and to you know to hit the button she actually did that you know can you imagine a 93 year old lady you know dragging herself with all the blood you know and when she reached the floor an indian man saw her and carried her home actually and when my when my brother was at home and he rushed her to the emergency and she went this is this was just thursday thursday sunset time and then she was stitched up and all that they ran all the scan on her and all that and i want to thank god that there is no internal injury praise god then you know there's the end and that by yesterday she was already discharged and the the nurses were really amazed the nurses were they were interviewing her because the the hospital now they have a follow-up service for all people they can come to bathe you and all that if you cannot move and all this do they ask her like amma do you what do you can you walk independently yeah yeah yeah do you cook in the panhandle yeah i can do baby are you even 93 you know so i want to thank god that she's in very high spirit you know she went home and she knew this is the work of jesus hallelujah i want to give thanks to jesus and you know what today she came to church for the baptism class hallelujah jesus is so good really really we know it is jesus preservation because for all people at the age to fall and to actually knock yourself you know their bones are brittle it can be really hairy all right and and so we just really want to thank god for his for his preservation and i i want to just take this chance to speak preservation and protection over you especially if you have a household with all people would you just just agree with me father in the name of jesus i i joined my faith with all my brethren here who have all folks at home that you super naturally watch over them you were set of guardian angels to surround them and that no harm no evil will ever befall them and they will always blossom and flourish in your loving care thank you god thank you god for supernatural preservation and divine protection over our aged family members in the mighty name of our lord jesus we agree and pray and everyone say amen amen so good it's so good to have jesus oh hallelujah hallelujah we're really living in in a difficult times very very momentous hour of human history i really believe that we have entered into the time period that the bible prophesied about that the bible refers to as the last days you know with all these things that has been happening around what we call eschatological fulfillment you know study on the on the return of christ and and the prophecy is being fulfilled in our days is remarkable remarkable in the last few decades and especially with the coming back of israel to their to their rightful homeland in 1948 till now they've been such an acceleration of the fulfillment of of prophetic uh scriptures in the bible about the end times and i really believe that even right now this this very this very covet 19 situation it's just one of the many signs of the plagues that jesus talked about he talked about plagues that will come in the last days and earthquakes and not just earthquakes it's great earthquakes so i challenge you to go google great earthquakes richter scale six and above you will see that that it's been consistent for the last 100 years and then in year about 2000 99 2000 it goes on a straight line up great earthquakes richter scale six and up all right i've done the study on that i'm just very amazed how many signs are there out there and famine unprecedented famines and all that you know jesus talked about such a period of time this is the last days and we have already entered into the last days and the bible is replete full of different prophetic words about the last days because god one is wants his people to be to be prepared to be not caught unaware you know and be harmed and god wants his people to thrive not only to survive but to thrive and be a light amen to the to our generation the devil knows that too the devil knows that his time is short and so the devil is also working uh uh uh extra hard in this moment to to deceive as many as possible to deceive as many as possible in this last days to go down with him he's on his way down all right i want to bring to you uh um the first scripture of the day in first timothy chapter four verse one it says that now the spirit explains explicitly says that in later times some will depart from the faith paying attention to deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons these sinful spirits and the teachings of demons i just saw just i did not plan for this but i want to say this this is the greatest sign of the end times actually all right our lord jesus when asked by his disciples lord what would be the sign of your return or of the of the end they say and jesus say beware that you are not deceived all right the number one sign is deception deception and i just feel like to just just dive on into this a little bit here we are living in the days of great deception and it just it just it just uh uh and people think that deception they have a certain idea of how deception would come you know when jesus talked about the the false prophets will arise and and then you know what they may come in packages you are not aware of that's already taking place and i deem the media as false prophets today they are the greatest most anointed false prophets today they prophesy evil and fear and all that you know and so be careful what you're reading and i just really feel like to say this all right there's so much false information out there to drive at a certain narrative for you to believe and and how do you know how do you know that you are you that that you you are listening to the fake stuff all right you get really fearful and distressed you get really fearful in this rest and i'm sure many of you lately have been very distressed by some developments in the world and then the narratives that come forth you know i got distressed too you know but i want to testify and god is my witness when i hear those news and i go back to god and say god this is really what is happening and when god spoke to me nah i'll tell you what i'm doing right now this this this and this i get so lifted up and this has been happening multiple times especially in the last few weeks you know is this really what is happening i'm really disgusting i tell you what i'm doing this this and this and so i want to take a moment to just reinforce what brother ken said just now the greatest commandment is really to listen and obey and that's the greatest thing you can do right now instead of just just licking taking it lock stock and barrel what you're reading in the in the media and the press and all that there is so much falsehood out there to make you fearful to make you surrender your rights to make you confused just this morning i was praying you know what the lord showed me this is the time he gave me this scene from goliath of goliath you know just just mocking the the israelites wow and they're fearful and he just conceived you concede you know and just mocking and and and uh intimidating the lord showed me that's what is happening right now and so i want to i just want to expose this if you are in fear you are not listening to god because his perfect love drives up all fears amen all right and if you just would turn in and tune into the holy spirit you will be so uplifted when he shows you what he is doing because he's the scripture already tells us in the last days there will be a period of time hebrews chapter 12 says you'll be shaking everything that can be shaken even they have heavens and the earth and that everything that is not of him will be shaken and be taken down all right so in this time of shaking we have really nothing to fear because the scripture goes on to say this is uh hebrew chapter uh 12. yeah verse 25 now something like that you go read it all right and then he says and you will receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken so in the midst of all this shaking he is actually positioning his people to receive of his kingdom it's good stuff that is happening good things he's doing so there's a very different kingdom narrative to what is happening right now so i want to encourage you to tune into god can i hear amen amen second second timothy expresses the same thing about the last days chapter four verse three for the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but according to their own desires will multiply t teachers for themselves because they have an each to hear what they want to hear they will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myth all right so there are people there people right now they want to hear just one what what they want to hear what they want to hear they don't want to hear you know the the truth actually all right and so and so i just want to warn us this is a time that we need to hear god like never before like never before and so listen to god and then fellow should be people who hear god that would help all right and read the word the more you read the word the more you can divide what you are hearing because the bible says the word of god is sharper than any two-edged sword under the division between the joints and the marrow the souls and the spirit it is a descendant of the thoughts and intent of your heart the more you read the word of god the more the clearer you become chinese you know you can divide you're clear what is god what is not of god what you're reading is is it's of the enemy it's from a different source and what you're reading is the truth all right it helps you discern all right so i just want to put this in right this is a moment you you and i need to put this to work what we've been taught all these years about hearing god's voice about being navigated by the holy spirit this is the time that we need to do that more than ever before more than ever before and so we know that the the world's getting darker and heading into such turbulent times more and more jesus said that please don't do don't do speak fear in my heart no no jesus said that it would be like beginning of birth thanks that makes it get more intense it gets more intense in the days ahead and when the enemy is cornered he will do anything he will roar even louder to want to intimidate you this is what is happening right now all right so do not be fearful all right know that in the midst of all this all this satanic assault on the world upon the world you know what there is the church of the living god was with the blood of jesus filled with the holy spirit and anointed of god to make a stand against the forces of darkness do you believe that so choosy this day which side are you on yeah because there are any there are believers who have given themselves over to the lives of the enemies and have stood on the side of the enemy to actually even speak against what god is saying through his prophets through his people you know and you can this is the time that you just have to take side i think someone else also said that just now or this is time that you cannot just just uh uh just be oh i want to be politically correct you know and i just want to be neutral to everybody and hi i want to be friend to everybody on the good books of everybody no no no no that's because there's a polarization in this hour isaiah 60 talk about it that is polarization it says you know arise shine for the glory of the lord is upon me you i think i i'm hyped here let me put it in here isaiah 60 verse 1 arise shine your for your light has come and the glory of the lord shines over you that means god's glory is going to get brighter and brighter upon you while it says here for look darkness will cover the earth and total darkness the peoples but the lord will shine over you and his glory will appear over you you know what is that polarization the views of what is the views will be so opposing in the society in different arena of life people will take sight you cannot straddle anymore it's very difficult to straddle when two boats are going apart if you can imagine that and you're trying to straddle you know you've got to know what is which side is god we are not for this party that the politics nah you know this of the world they will pass but you do want to know what what is god saying though and you want to be on god's side someone ever said to to to lincoln about oh you know you think god is on our side or on the outside and president abraham lincoln said he says what is important is are we on god's side it's not about god on which side are we on god's side that is what is more important and so you need the kingdom narrative you need to hear what god is saying this is so so important in this hour this is polarization and there will be great polarization the lord told me about this last year and i think i think i ever preached about i said that there will come such a polarization even in christendom christians taking sides you know not being able to discern what is of god and what is against god and jesus said if you're not working for me you're working against me if you're not gathering you are scattering or you're already fighting against god so if you if you if you're if you're confused about where god is you need this word i'm saying i didn't plan this but i need to put that in hallelujah in the midst of this darkness apostle paul of also paul tells us that the world will go into deeper and deeper darkness and in the midst of this darkness a light will shine out of the church the church of the living god because god's glory will rest upon her the church has been anointed by god to be a counterforce to the to be able to push back the darkness in our generation amen i mean do you believe that i utterly believe that totally believe that because the bible tells us of a glorious church at the end that will push back the darkness right before our rapture hallelujah there will be a time of confrontation it's called the overcomers war in a bill of revelation or we were overcome seven times the lord says to him who overcome to him overcome this is the time this is the time that you take out all your katang all your casey tau all your tools all your weapons that you've been decked with you know all the bible classes you've been through this is a moment take out all the knowledge and revelation you've ever been imparted with all right and to use it now this is war this is confrontation really this hour is all right and jesus told jesus actually instructed his church how to operate in such a time of conflict i want to bring you there matthew chapter 16 verse 18. i also say to you that you are peter and on this rock i will build my church and the gates of hades will not overpower it upon this rock what rock just before this g you know jesus say and who do you say i am people say i'm elijah they say that would you say that i am and then what did peter say you are the christ the son of the living god there was a revelation from god you know and jesus said to peter surely flesh and blood no human being taught you this but the father in heaven that's called a revelation of christ a supernatural understanding that is enabled by the holy spirit of the identity of christ jesus say upon that revelation that's the wrong you see that's why revelations of christ is our foundation of life you need to receive greater and greater understanding of the person of christ that is your foundation of life upon which you build your life or jesus say upon this foundation this rock i will build my church that's why the church is built on the revelation of christ of christ being revealed to us the more you know christ the stronger foundation you have in these changing times in this turbulent hour that we live in all right jesus said upon this rock i will build my church and the gates of hades what's gates of hades the powers of darkness all right you've got to understand the authority of the the wicked ones in the olden days gates is where authority is being exercised do you know elders sit at the gate to judge that that tribunal court and all that is at the gate that the city gate all right in case you do not know so gates is a it's an expression of authority or power is it the authority the power of satan and of darkness cannot prevail against the church of the living god can i hear an amen amen and then jesus gives the instruction instruction how what do you do in such a time of conflict he says i will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven everybody say keys [Laughter] what is key what does it stand for he says i give you the keys of heaven whatever you buy on earth have been bound in heaven whatever is set loose on earth will be loose in heaven wow you know what is that that's called authority say with me authority jesus said i give the authority of heaven to you hold it use it in the times of conflict you've got to know how to use your authority what you unlock you will be unlocked what you what you locked up it will be locked up what is what is on earth in heaven it means in a natural and in the supernatural in the spirit realm what do you allow will be allowed there what you disallow here will be disallowed there you call the short you are the rightful owner on in this realm amen i mean jesus gives authority to his people that's what you do you exercise authority that's why in this hour in all this conflict we need to exercise authority how do we do that primarily prayer and intercession so whatever you're reading in the papers whatever distresses you whatever you see as evil and fraud you have you have the responsibility to pray and to enforce heaven's will on earth do you agree amen that's you using your key jesus said you got this how you confront evil you lock them up you bind them up and cast them down you by doing that you extend god's right food reign and rule of righteousness on the face of the earth we are his extension of reign and rule of his rulership of his authority so if we go on a holiday on a vacation we abscond and abdicate you know what evil thrive evil evil thrive we can i i have said this many times before and i'll say again we we can shape we can shape history if we know how if the people of god know how to pray and enforce the will of god on earth as it is in heaven amen and so what i'm trying to say here i want to encapsulate it again summarize it again we're living in the last days this is a time that we need the holy spirit more than ever before and the holy spirit wants to empower us to be able to push back the darkness that we observe in our generation how does god empower us to to play our role as the owner of the earth how how he gives us the holy spirit the holy spirit is his primary source of power for us to equip us with in order for us to be able to be used of him especially in the last days that's why i have titled this sermon as spirit-filled living in the last days with the last days as a focus of how much more we need to know how what is spirit-filled living how do we get empowered by the holy spirit in such a time of confrontation so jesus says that you need the holy spirit let's look at acts chapter 2 verse 17 another scripture about the last days and it's got to do with the holy spirit again the holy spirit operating through god's people acts chapter 2 verse 17 and it will be in the last days everybody say last days all right welcome to the last days because we're already in the last days all right it will be in the last day says god that i will pour out my spirit on all people then your sons and your daughters will prophesy supernatural things gonna take place when the holy spirit come upon you you will know things seething declare thing intercede and pronounce the will of heaven and enforce it you will do supernatural things when the holy spirit empowers you all right and it goes on to say your young men will see visions and your all men with dream dreams for those of you are always dreaming dreams you know you're already old anyway i'm just kidding i will even pour out my spirit or my servants in those days both men and women and they will prophesy i will display wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below blood and fire and a cloud of smoke the sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and glorious day of the lord comes this these are the things that must happen before he returns and this is really interesting and all this will happen in such a way that the outcome will be then everyone who oh did i miss out pressing the okay sorry yeah last verse now 21. then everyone who calls on the name of the lord will be saved and so what it is what it is spoken of here in this scripture is that god said i will empower my people my holy spirit and you're going to move in signs and wonders and i'm also going to display my signs and wonders while you do your signs and wonders and miraculous work among people i'm going to show it in the sky moon i'm going to display it in the earth we're going to work in tandem and the outcome will be that everyone who calls on the name of the lord will be saved salvation will break out throughout the world when you do your part and i do my part and we display the wondrous power of our god and his goodness and his majesty god says many will come to be safe so you have a role to play i have a job and you got a job as god's kingdom people in such a time as this and what i want to bring us down to is the fact that we need the holy spirit for that kind of a living without the holy spirit we are absolutely powerless what you what you've just been reading is a glorious bride by the way the church is the bride of christ yeah so this is describing the glorious bryce of for those sisters among our mates and why god always say you're my son you're my son i'm a daughter but we are called the bride of christ brothers right so we are fair all right well you complain oh why god referred to the sons of god you know but we are called the bride of christ hallelujah hallelujah we're the bride of christ glorious bride full of the power of the holy spirit and we shall stand in the last hour adorned with god's glory that's the way god described that the condition of the church was the end it's a glorious outcome the church will make warfare in the heavenlies and will be victorious and and you and you you are part of that i'm a part of that what a joy to be living in this generation and the church can do nothing without the power of the holy spirit and i believe we have already arrived in the not only in the last day the last hour of the last day not just not quite the last minute yet you know the bible talks about the last days the bible talks about the last hour and then the last moment the last minute i believe we're not at the last minute yet but we're in the last hour you know the last hour worker 11 hour worker in the vineyard that's the last hour i believe we are already in the last hour all right the last hour of the last day we got job to do tell the one next to hey we got a job to do man don't you be slumbering in this hour i believe we have arrived at the last hour and you know what god is going to equip us and use us for the greatest harvest of souls greatest harvest i'm very excited in the days that we live in because what the world convulses and the powers there be are convulsing and doing all kinds of things you know smoke screen and intimidation or just like goliath you know what it's good news they're scared the enemy is scared right now right because he's just he's about to lose whole of millions and millions of people people are waking up to the evil endemic in the systems and people are saying no enough is enough and you know what it is precisely this that the bible is talking about the days of great shaking and by and jesus said man's heart will fail them for fear the root word is terror terror all right and this is a time where the people of god must go yay this is a time when people's people will be more open to the gospel than ever before ever before and so let's look at the harvest the fruits in chinese we say soda in china you know in certain seasons in shanton our people there you know when it's so when they do not put bring in the harvest in time the the apples and all the leaves uh plum and all you know what there's a time where they can just hold their hold their shirt and they drop they don't even have the plug because it's so ripe you know the world is at the stage right now coming to the stage not the ripers yet but you know what the deluge has begun people are seeking a greater power up there out there somewhere out there that can help me you know what this is a moment people of god arise and god wants you to know he wants to anoint you with the holy spirit what is anointed for those who are who knew you know it's not annoying he doesn't want to annoy you annoy you no anoint anointing is god's empowerment on you through the holy spirit all right so let's take a moment and look at what jesus say about the holy spirit jesus had much to say about the person and the role of the holy spirit in the life of a believer much to say about that also also we can learn much about the holy spirit simply by studying and observing the holy spirit's role in the life and ministry of jesus on earth because that's our example how we can flow with the holy spirit two all right just know this and i've said this before and i'll say again when jesus operated on the earth he operated as a man not as god as man so that he's a perfect example of how a man looks like full of the holy spirit living in perfect obedience to god amen as i said before if he he lives as god on earth then whatever he does is just admirable but not achievable but hallelujah he's the son of man that whatever he does is achievable not just admirable all right so jesus is a perfect example let's look at how jesus flow with the holy spirit it is exactly how you and i should live all right so look at acts 10 with me acts 10 chapter verse 38 how god anointed jesus of nazareth with the holy spirit and with shout it power and how he went about not look at look at now we have several we have established a fact that the power comes from the holy spirit two we're going to look at what the power does all right what he did with the power and how he went about doing good and healing all who were under the tyranny of the devil because god was with him that looks like mighty fun i want to live a life like that full of the power of the holy spirit bringing deliverance to people who are bound bringing healing to people who are sick wouldn't he want to do that i mean now jesus does that as an as our example jesus went about enforcing the rain and rule of god's kingdom how by healing the sick by casting out demons he did all this by the power of the holy spirit and today i want you to rediscover what you inherently have in the holy spirit which many christians never got to tap into and to actualize what in singaporean language is sa yang sayong what a ways what a ways matthew chapter 12 verse 28 jesus said this this how he demonstrate how he moved by the power of the holy spirit what he did with the power of the holy spirit he says if i drive up demons by the spirit of god then the kingdom of god has come upon you that's how he extend god's kingdom reign by the power of the holy spirit he he casts out demons that should not should not dwell in the domain of god amen and as a human being he took up his authority that's why he has to take up human flesh adam is red of the earth do you know your body is what gives you license to to reign in this realm you are king over this realm because you are adama or your make of link from the earth that's why you're the rightful owner do you know demons are illegal in our dimension by the way that's why you have absolute authority over demons especially when you come against him in the name of jesus jesus a perfect adam the second adam the last adam all right who took back every authority that the first adam lost jesus took it back and gave it to us all hallelujah now he said get to use it learn how to work with the authority and in this hour you need to know how to work with that authority by the power of the holy spirit to drive away what the enemy is doing let's check this out let's check this out in matthew 4 23 now jesus began to go over all over all all over galilee teaching in the synagogues teach preaching teaching preaching the good news of the kingdom and then comes what must always follow teaching and preaching healing every disease and sickness among the people he always taught preach then he demonstrate the veracity of his message the authenticity of his sermon it's called the tasting is in the pudding you know he then demonstrated do you know you and i are called to do the same only heidi agreed with that blessed heart thou flesh and blood did not even reveal this to you but my father in heaven luke chapter 5 say amen luke chapter 5 verse 17. on one of those days while he was teaching again jesus pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there who had come from every village of galilee and judea and also from jerusalem and the lord's power to heal was in him so the the scriptures um repeatedly talk about how when jesus operated on the earth he operated by the power of god by the spirit of the lord i said i remember as our example perfect example of how you and i should be living our lives do you know the power of god is in you to be able to heal and many christians have never exercised it never release it it never did jesus did and then he deputized his disciples with the same power of and authority to go do what he did and you know what it worked matthew 10 1 summoning his 12 disciples he gave them authority over unclean spirits to drive them out and to heal every disease and sickness he gave them the same authority did they go out to do what he told them to do yeah you betcha the disciples received this power and authority and you know what they obey and they immediately turn around and they went out put it to the test they worked that anointing mark 6 12 so they went out and preached that people should repent they drove out many demons they did exactly monkey see monkey do right they did exactly what they saw jesus did all right and they drove after they preached they drove out demons anointed many sick people with all and healed them and that's why they came back so excitedly it worked and what they came back excitedly this power this authority in your name and jesus rejoice in the fact that your name is written in the book of life hallelujah and today we say but there's no power in my life i've never seen healing i've never seen a miracle when i pray you know what's the problem you've never preached the gospel you've never shared the good news and then follow up follow up with praying for the sick and casting out demons by faith by faith you don't need feelings you don't need feelings if you do it you will see it because the power is is released when you preach the gospel i've said this time and again the gospel is a very amazing message it's in inherent in a message is great power but this power is a time release it only is released when you go you know jesus say go disciple the nation go cast up demons cleanse the leper kill the sick raise the dead all right if you don't go it just remain latent in you but it will never be it will never come coming to manifestation it will never it's a very unique message with unique power and it releases its power in a very unique way it's called go everybody say go go you gotta go pray for enough people and you will see the breakthrough i guarantee you i guarantee you the first time i see really really see breakthrough was 1996 when i was in russia you know and that was the first time i was put to a situation where i had to preach at what we call evangelistic meeting or crusades that they call it you know 1996 i was a young man still young hallelujah i was younger younger days like this and and i know feeling i really i testify here you know i preach the gospel and then they will shout in russian you know it's all very very short messages because russian is a very long language a very long language so you preach and then you wait while the translator when the interpreter in you say uh god bless you yeah i calculated god bless you three book bullets so every sentence is like that you have give twice the amount of time to it so we preach very short sentence short messages but after that in russia vladivostok 1996 was the first time that i i did this by faith i just preached it and there's no feeling nothing and then i would call for healing and if because you are sick come out right now and the law will heal you and you know what i was so stunned the healing was nearly a hundred percent in every meeting i mean for the most dramatic ones you know and some russians are big it's like laying hands on trees you know black [Music] and i still remember this i think no feeling i think that people say about power flow and electricity and warmth and heat and you know and i realized that this message works whether feeling or not and from then on i've seen this by now hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of times now and we've lost count i just want to encourage you believers the same holy spirit enemies the same holy spirit in you and god said go preach the gospel and boldly lay hands and pray and you will cast out demons you will raise the dead you will cleanse the lepers amen i mean freely you have received jesus said freely give jesus jesus says that we have been equipped for this he says it in fact he says this in john 14 12 truly i tell you the one who believes in me do you believe in jesus as your lord and savior i got good news for you he says the one who believes in me will also do the works that i do and in fact he goes on to say and he will do even greater works than this because i'm going to the father what does it mean i'm going to the father you're going to the father it means when i go to the father and i can send my holy spirit to you indwell every one of you and i'm no longer limited by my physical body among you you know everyone will become a little me that's why we're called christians little christ all right and when he's in you and everyone doing what i can do that's greater works far greater works you can be all over the world millions of little christ it's better that i go because when i go i send the holy spirit to you and you know what the holy spirit already is in you right now because the song you just said i believe when i ask you you say i believe while the holy spirit is in you in you greater works everybody shall greater works i don't want this to be just a theory in your head i want you to challenge yourself really if jesus says greater works am i seeing it now in my life you've got to come you've got to be confronted by the word sometimes somewhere and say god i cannot go on to live life without this coming to pass of what you said of me you must come to the place of being cornered by the word to see either this come to pass or i'm living a lie and i say this out of my own life experience you know having struggled with extreme disease extreme agonizing disease or pain for many years of my life and this was this was one one of those verses that really really challenged me and confronted me i don't live a lie if you say by your stripes i'm healed how come i'm living in pain i rather die believing than to live in the state of unbelief and and you know what when there's a confrontation then the truth will overwhelm that which is true i was sick that was true i can't say i'm not sick i'm dogs i was sick but thank god there's a truth that's greater than what is true to me there's a greater power to change what is true to me in my reality it is greater reality in god's word amen amen and i want you to know the greater reality today the same holy spirit is in you and he wants to burst out of you to attack sickness and when and display god's glory through your life do you know god wants to do that and jesus that's why jesus kept talking about the holy spirit because he's the source of power he said when the holy spirit comes he will be your counselor he says things like that i will ask the father and he will give you another counselor to be with you forever you will never leave or forsake you by the way he is the spirit of truth and the world is unable to receive him because he doesn't see him or know him but you do know him because he remains with you and will be in you jesus talking about a time that will come after his resurrection three exact 50th day after his resurrection when the holy spirit will come plunge upon his people fill them and saturate them with his power jesus was prophesying about the soon coming day when the holy spirit will be in man not just upon man in the old testament the holy spirit came upon man in the new testament after the cross the holy spirit could indwell man wow so now that mighty power is within you god now works the works of miracles from within you do you even know that do you even even tap into that jesus told the disciples that it is to their advantage that he goes away because because that's when they the world will no longer be limited by jesus physical body carrying the power alone jesus said now you when i go away it's better for you because the holy spirit can feel every one of you and every one of you can do what i did and it would be far greater works far greater works in verse 26 now john 14 still but a counselor the holy spirit whom the father will send in my name will teach you all things and remind you of everything i told you wow so the holy spirit is already in you ready to instruct you teach you counsel you lead you to live that triumphant life in the in these last days are you ready for that amen amen that's why he says it's better for you that i go in chapter 16 verse 7 he says nevertheless i'm telling you the truth so this is that's what he was saying this is true all right look at me look at me read my lips all right i'm telling you the truth korean by the way korean very similar with hokkien a lot of words are the same i'm telling you the truth so i can speak korean too hallelujah you can speak korean too i am telling you the truth jesus said yeah it is for your benefit that i go away because what because if i don't go away the counselor will not come to you if i go i will send him to you so wow jesus set them up to be so excited about this promise wow when he goes away when he goes what does it mean when he goes away they couldn't quite fathom yet that he would actually die and resurrect when he goes away what that would be another 40 years 50 years he's still a young man you know yeah and then it happened so i want to bring you to after his resurrection look at what happened because after the resurrection jesus had very clear instructions about the power of the holy spirit and what it is given for and that is to preach a gospel with demonstrations of signs and wonders with that i bring to mark 16 15 then he said to them go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation whoever believes and is baptized will be saved but whoever does not believe will be condemned and these signs will accompany those who believe and this side will accompany who not the pastors not the professional preachers no to some selected ministers and to that loud loud sounding evangelist to all who believe this sign will unless you say our lord jesus lie but he says this sign will accompany those who shout it believe in my name they will drive out demons they will speak in new tongues they will pick up snakes and if they should drink anything deadly it will not harm them they will lay hands on the sick and they will get well hallelujah this is important for me you know traveling all over the world many places china and india and pakistan many places i'm like i eat by faith lord no poison can harm me hallelujah because sometimes some places the sanitation is really not very good i remember my friend tala muhammad who remember telling muhammad you know he was in pakistan preaching all right he went to the village 600 over people in front of him and just before he was about to preach a man gave him a bottle of mineral water and he said oh thank you thank you thank you if i'm not wrong pakistan this is and i had to get and he drank it and he wanted to preach and then he went woozy he went and he slumped he went out his light was out for about 15 minutes he slumped and then the interpreter did not know what to say that and he said he's in the holy spirit oh the people just you just pray in tongues he's in the holy spirit no no no it was poison there was poison in the water it was ascending you know what's arsenic there was enough poison in there to kill the whole village all 600 of them actually he drank it and he died actually he just slammed over and then after 15 minutes he went up and he he started preaching and you know what after preaching for like 20 25 minutes he was telling me he said after preaching he called for the altar call and people came out many came out for salvation and one man in front was crying he was crying he thought it was a conviction of the holy spirit on him you know like he was a movie he's a young man you know he said you you are you touched by the spirit of god you said i was able to put poison in the water you're supposed to die i put enough in there to kill all these people here and you did not die and i recognized your god must be true hallelujah and he was saved he was born again then that man all right so all of you who go out to mission fields and you can claim this scripture very useful this is the by the way this is the first record we have of the lord jesus telling his followers that they would speak with new tongues this is the first scripture of jesus himself talking about the new tongues and which is a sign of being baptized with the holy spirit which is what i want you to grasp all right the enablement of the holy spirit through his baptism with a sign of speaking in tongues is important it's important the final verse of jesus before he ascended to heaven what's about the baptism of the holy spirit so he says this in acts chapter 1 verse 8 but you will receive power when the holy spirit has come upon you and you will be my witnesses so you see the purpose now the baptism of the holy spirit bringing along the power to be god's witnesses in jerusalem judea samaria to the ends of the earth that's the same power offered to you and me right now and especially right now in this troubled days and what jesus promised them it was fulfilled on the day of pentecost as i said just now 50th day after his ascension and this was recorded in now acts chapter 2 verse 1 when the day of pentecost had arrived they were all together in one place suddenly a sound like that of a violent rushing wind came from heaven and it filled the whole house where they were staying they saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and rested upon each one of them then they were filled with the holy spirit and began to speak in different tongues as the spirit enabled them they spoke and the spirit enabled them if you want to be baptized with the holy spirit and we pray for you you speak and the holy spirit will fill your mouth but if you don't speak if nothing happens by faith you activate that all right just want you to take note of that all right and and this is what will happen all right so so the power of god came upon them and they spoke in tongues and then from there they went out they went out to preach the gospel with signs and wonders and so after reading all these things that jesus said about the holy spirit and seeing how he operated by the power of the holy spirit we must recognize that without the holy spirit working in our lives and through us we can never fully serve god's purposes especially in these last days so today my mandate here is to remind you of what god has given you through the redemptive work of christ in the person of the holy spirit who is in you i want you to tap into all your potential that you have in him the holy spirit comes he empowers you he's your counselor your teacher your guide your comforter the many many roles that we we don't get to go through all the scriptures but just know that good good stuff everything from god is good gifts amen amen especially the holy spirit i deem it as the second most important gift i've ever received from god beyond the gift of salvation is the gift of the holy spirit and when he comes the holy spirit gives you gifts he himself is a gift from god to you and when he comes he unpack his gifts to you all right let me quickly mention all right gifts of the holy spirit all right i will not go into teaching on the gifts of holy spirit all right but it's good to to be reminded what are all the potential supernatural abilities that god has gifted you with what are gifts of the holy spirit supernatural abilities that god has given his people to be able to accomplish supernatural things for him it is his casey tower for you his equipment his his his weapons his gifts are supernatural weapons so quickly take a look at what they might be there are different gifts it says here now there are different now not in the future not in heaven in heaven you don't need those gifts you're in a perfect environment you don't need to overcome satan and sickness and everything else now you need the weapons you need all the instruments that god can give you or the enablement now everybody say now all right now god has presented to you all right different kinds of gifts that are inherent in you the different gifts but the same spirit they're different ministries by the same lord and they're different activities but the same god works all of them in each person isn't it interesting that all three in the unity is in the trinity is mentioned oh god the son god the father god the son god the holy spirit is mentioned in the in the very first verse here in in the in the very first reading here all is involved in wanting to give you gift you enable you empower you the whole trinity is involved with your creation sir no don't let him down by ignoring what the whole trinity is involved in equipping you with surely there must be something so important for us that the whole trinity is involved in equipping us for right and then let me go on and many it says here uh a verse seven now a manifestation of the spirit already here a manifestation of the spirit is given to each person for the common good the one is given a message of a message of wisdom through the spirit to another a message of knowledge by the same spirit to another faith by the same spirit to another gifts of healing notices is the first plural gift and i give up the holy spirit the people just anointed for different classes of diseases by the way gifts of healing by the same by the one spirit to another the performing of miracles to another prophecy to another distinguishing between spirits to another different kinds of tongues to another interpretation of tongues one and the same spirit is active in all this distributing to each person as he wills wow notice i purposely highlighted the spirit it's all the work of the holy spirit anointing equipping enabling and the holy spirit is saying to you now please let me express myself through you you just need to be willing to believe and to allow his operation through you because he does this for the common good he does this so that god's purposes can be accomplished through you supernaturally i challenge you today to allow the holy spirit to fill you afresh and to activate the gifts in your life i challenge you today to ask of him god do this now today my two layer once you hear it you do it you respond to god and say god i want to i want to be used of you would you activate it in me every gift that is inherent in me for your purpose and for your glory amen i mean today i want to encourage you to open your treasure trove and begin to rediscover all the supernatural gifts and weapons that god have have given you already and very likely many of them just lying dormant in your life unused and you know what's my expression of that sayang sayang you know and then next time when you go to heaven and realize when you go to heaven and realize all that god has actually equipped you with that you've never used on earth you will really cry go check it out revelation 21 tears in heaven let's call regret regret and i want to i took out many years ago and and still telling him all these years you know i don't want to go to heaven with regret lord let me i want to live for a tearless heavenly experience or i don't want to come to heaven then realizing all the gifts and resources and calling and purposes that you've you have set aside for me that i've never tapped into i want to live life to the full for your glory and i pray that this will be the same cry in your heart hallelujah and ultimately all this equipping all this power is to be able to carry out the great commission the power of the holy spirit has given us ultimately to carry out the great commission all right matthew 28 19 go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the father of the son and of the holy spirit teaching them to observe everything i have commanded you and remember i am with you always to the end of the age remember remember god is with you through the holy spirit and he says if you would step out you're gonna see all this come to pass and that's why the feeling and the baptism of holy spirit is so powerful today i want you to experience it afresh remember remember it is a power remember it is the power for you to be witness to be witnesses for him from jerusalem to to samaria to judea samaria to the uttermost part of the world all right and that same power is here is here in the air it's here within you if you have been filled with the holy spirit and god wants you to rediscover the power and and and be a good steward over it especially in these last days you will need it i will need it if you want to live a triumphant life the holy spirit want to lead you guide you help you discern what is of god what is not of god where to invest where to pull out your investment he wants to give you creative ideas to add value to bring value to your industry you want to give you witty invention bible talks about wiki invention it gives you new ideas creative invention for the marketplace because it's a new normal there are a lot of new ways of doing things that is yet to be discovered that can really bring value value that the market is willing to pay for where does it come from from the holy spirit he will give you those ideas if you know how much you need the holy spirit to reveal to you how we can thrive in this new normal new ways of doing business new methodology all right it doesn't necessarily have to be a physical equipment though it can be but it can be can be a a process it can be something that you cannot see with your eyes an algorithm god can give you new ways of thriving in this new season that we have all be plunged into and this comes from the holy spirit and right now i want to pray for the baptism of the holy spirit for those of us who have not experienced it and for those of us who have already experienced the baptism of the holy spirit with the gift of speaking in tongues i want you to to ask god for a fresh fresh infilling all right it is scriptural but we are running we've run out of time all right it is scriptural that you can be filled over and over again because many of us that we have low bang we have holes that lick away the anointing yeah and god wants to feel you afresh and god wants to refresh your faith in him god wants to refresh your vision the vision of what he has placed upon your heart to achieve in your lifetime amen god wants to renew his covenant with you for many of you who have forgotten the things that god has given you to accomplish and any and in those time past you say i will love you then now you're just so caught up with life you've forgotten about your heavenly mandates and purposes today god can bring it all back with a new clarity and give you a fresh unction enablement for you to be able to carry it out in the days ahead i i prophesy to you in the days ahead many of us will revisit old vision that we have forgotten about but god will bring it all back because this is time to flesh out many things many of us also will receive fresh instruction what we are to do and it can be very very new to everything that we are familiar with because it's a very very new season when the when the israelites entered into canaan their mode of operation changed dramatically dramatically when they were in the wilderness imagine 40 years what was their food source just going out to pick it out pick it up from the floor all they did was to go out and pick up manna they just once a day all right all they did was that when they entered into canaan there ain't no mana no more manner it's a whole different source of income and sustenance they were to sew plan cultivate and reap it's a whole different skill it's a whole different skill but it's a superior blessing though because every day eat mana for 40 for 40 years men are sauteed soaked baked seasoned barbecued how many how many ways can you do the same food all right for 40 years you can say well so good i was a nung you know just pick up the food well when they entered into canaan they go to chokang they got to work they got to plan they got so they got to watch the weather and they got but you know what they have is food of a variety they have never experienced you know especially their generation they grew up in the wilderness all right there's variety there is sustainability and they determine how much to to to have and how much you keep it's a whole new ball game a whole new realm whole new dimension i prophesy to you we have entered into a whole new season the whole world has entered into a new season and god so want to speak to you in this new season what can be a new industry you never thought of what can be a new way of doing it is doing things in the same industry that can revolutionize it right and everything is possible with god all things are possible amen amen and so with that with that i'm running out of time i want to pray for the baptismal holy spirit and the fresh infilling all right the two ways to receive it one way listen by faith and just receive it directly from the lord i'll give you the scriptural reference scriptural reference in acts chapter 10 all right verse 44 while peter was speaking this word she was preaching the gospel the holy spirit came down on all those who heard the message the circumcised believers who had come with peter were amazed because the gift of the holy spirit had been poured out even on the gentiles we are the gentiles non-jew he means for they heard them speaking in tongues and declaring the greatness of god then peter responded all right so so what what happened was when when peter was you speaking the holy spirit already came upon them and they were speaking in tongues they were baptized with the holy spirit it can happen to you right here right now all right or in a moment when you would allow me to pray for you from here i can lay hands right now because acts chapter 19 that's the other way lay down of hands a very classic way in the charismatic circle especially 19 verse 6 when paul had laid his hands on them the holy spirit came on them and they began to speak in tongues and to prophesy all right well i can pray my lay hands on you from my social socially responsible distance away and and was it will still work because the holy spirit can lay hands on you that like when i cannot hallelujah it is him who baptizes amen in fact it's jesus who baptizes it's so amazing the bible says that the baptism by water is done by man but jesus said i myself will baptize you with the holy spirit so if you have been baptized the holy spirit know that it's jesus himself touching you filling you with the spirit of god what a privilege are you ready for the enablement for the empowerment hallelujah can you all stand can you all rise or you receive the enablement from god for the days ahead you know to be able to move supernaturally by the power of god in heavenly wisdom in in supernatural abilities in the gifts that are divine given of god to thrive and to prosper in what he wants you to do it is supernatural let us humble ourselves before him to acknowledge that god i ain't gonna be able to lead myself i'm not able to lead myself it's troubled days ahead even brokers experienced brokers tell me they have no model to to hand in your very big hands you hold me you walk me i know many people are in needs right now businesses are so affected some have lost their jobs some enterprises have just shriveled shriveled away but you know what this is a moment this is your brook cherith moment and was brook cherith when elijah heard of the spirit of god and said go to the brook cherry i will feed you there in the times of great feminine drought god had his supernatural appointment with him to meet at a place called brook cherith where he received his supernatural resources in sustenance and provision god has his book chariot for you but i challenge you to be humble and say god oh i need you i need you holy spirit come fill me now feel me fill me with yourself empower me for the days ahead empower me my provision comes from you it's not my my all my years of experience in the marketplace all the low banks connections i've gathered over the years in this industry no no no put all of that aside and come like a child with childlike faith do you know if he likes god when you come like a child like faith and say i need you and i'm responding to the word preached today i recognize i need you would you fill me with the holy spirit would you activate every gift on the inside of me activate every gift on the inside of me and just receive from me no strain no strife you experience him to be a good father he's so willing so willing to take his blessing and provision upon his children just oftentimes his children are too proud to come to him and acknowledge their need for him today would you come to him humbly believing in the word preach and say god fill me afresh i want to join my faith with you so if you're here and you've never been baptized the holy spirit this is your moment you can experience it many people have experienced that just being prayed over and it comes and you may feel a sensation you may not but it doesn't change the fact that god has baptized you the moment we ask because jesus himself he's here walking in the aisles among us and he will put his hand on you and fill you with his holy spirit like he himself promised we are just relaying what he promised you put your faith in him and he will experience a miracle only seconded by the experience of being born again the greatest empowerment from heaven is the person of the holy spirit so if you're ready let me pray with you hallelujah hallelujah holy spirit come come come fill the atmosphere right now with your tangible presence ooh come yes yes fill your people oh even as they call out upon your name come fill them with the holy spirit baptize everyone here with the power of your holy spirit come activate every gift on the inside of us to be used for your glory and for fulfilling your purposes that is upon our life thank you holy spirit come and fill everyone that is that is that is open to you and for you to fill them lord with your glorious presence come come in the name of jesus be filled in jesus you have stopped praying in tongues and then you will feel a fresh infilling and you will hear god clearer than ever before because you have just reactivated re-dig your wells and unclog your wells every deception lord be dispelled and be removed from our life in jesus name in the name of jesus lord let your people be so given over to truth so sensitized to your presence that they can easily and quickly descend when something is not of you and they will just reject them and they will tune in to you hallelujah thank you god and that's one of the many many benefits of praying in tongues is that you sensitize yourself so much to him that you can easily discern what is not of god that's one of many benefits of praying in tongues so i want to encourage you after after today all right i want you to pray in tongues a lot really these are times of such storms and and and uncertainties we need to pray in tongues pray in tongues you know i pray in tongues every day you know when i'm doing things i pray in times when i'm doing my gardening and praying things when i'm driving and bring down because i know it has benefits beyond my comprehension it sensitizes us do you know bible says in the book of jude you know pray in the spirit build up on your most holy faith praying in the holy spirit do you know as you pray in times you are sensitized to him and the more you're sensitized to him and you can perceive him the more your faith grows in him is natural the more you perceive him the more you are captivated by him you you know your consciousness is filled by him and that's why your faith increases you can't have faith in something that that you're you're totally down to right so the more you can perceive him the more you have faith and that's the meaning of jude 20 when he says you know building up on your most holy faith praying in the holy spirit so pray in the spirit pray in the spirit it sensitizes you i tell you it will be life-saving for many of us in the days ahead just when you want to put your decision into a certain major investment and the holy spirit just nope tell you not and you pull yourself back or when you're driving on the road and it's green light and you just want to go and the holy spirit said nope and you put a stop and a trap rush the light it is paramount of paramount importance in the days ahead to be navigated by the voice of god and i want to agree with you in the name of jesus that the lord the lord will sharpen your senses sharpen your senses to only hear him and him alone and would never be given over to the suggestion and the proposals of the wicked one in the name of jesus amen amen hallelujah hallelujah let's give him the praise hallelujah thank you god thank you god and your people shall prosper yes lord because they will not law listen to the to the worldly council but they will only listen to you lord hallelujah blessed is the man they walked on in the council of the ungodly nor stand in the path of sinners nor sit in the seat of the scornful by his delight is in the law of the lord and in his in in your word they will meditate day and night day and night and he shall be like a tree that's planted by the rivers of water and was in his leave would never wither and he will always bear fruit in this season and everything he touches your prosper that's your the promised law that you have for your people
