[Music] so what is the gospel the gospel is a message that birthed the New Testament church the Bible tells us that wherever the gospel goes to it brings salvation it brings healing it brings signs and wonders alright let's look at some scriptures together first mark chapter 16 verse 15 this is Jesus speaking he said to them he said to the disciples go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation he was believed and has been baptized shall be saved but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned all right so Jesus mentioned a very specific message that he asked us to preach to all creation not just anything but a specific message that he called the gospel so are you preaching the gospel that's a question because he has a very specific message for us to relate to to the whole world and he says that wherever you go to to preach this message when pictured people hear it and actually believe they've experienced this greatest miracle that a human being can experience in his lifetime you get born again divine life and turn to him God's life entering the men wherever people would hear this message and actually believe in their heart and he went on to say this this signs all this message actually come with signs that were confirming there were affirm its authenticity his reality these signs will accompany those who have believed in my name they will cast out demons they will speak with new tongues they will pick up serpents and if they drink any deadly poisons will not hurt them they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover amen amen so that tells me if you and I today we actually know the gospel and we are actually relaying it to others as accurately as we know how to Jesus that this science will follow you will not me will follow you what science you will cause of demons that you have me you have got authority vested upon you to demonstrate the message not just tell about it you actually will demonstrate it you will speak with new tongues you'll pick up serpents you would drink the any deadly poison it will not hurt you even lay hands on the sick and they will recover and so when after Jesus said that the disciples actually believed and they actually obey and so they went about preaching the good news in Luke chapter 9 verse 6 is it says here departing they began going through other villages preaching the gospel and healing everywhere notice this when they obey they went as told wherever they went to preach the preach the gospel what happened what happened everywhere healing took place so I want you to see yourself knowing the gospel and simply relaying it and see God's power break out bringing about healing everywhere you go - can I hear good amen because this is what's going to happen to you right after this conference hallelujah this is what I wanna live in four years of my life after becoming a believer and reading all of this and nothing in my life there was this frustration in me like he's a God like oh I'm living in a life that it's not from God because I don't see what he promised me instead of this struggle in my heart for years I was living in pain I was living in extreme migraine for the eight years of my life extreme extreme migraine and that's how I came to know Jesus in that torment and all that painting and I heard the Jesus heal and I got delivered after a series of things that happen in my life and then after that the Lord he would mean when I came to him I was so thankful to God I was nearly suicidal when I was living in all that pain and torment and when the Lord heal me I was so thankful and I want to turn around and I want people to experience it but I did not see it for years years and that was even more painful to me then I was living in the physical pain the pain was that how come I'm not living what God says I'm supposed to live in you know look at the disciples the moment they believed they went around they went out they depart from their place they started to relay the good news and good things happen healing broke out everywhere and I want you to have the same the healing will break out everywhere that you go to share about Jesus so the disciples they believe their world and and things happen the way Jesus described it ought to be like that for us too so to all says this himself in Romans chapter 1 verse 16 he says for I'm not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God for salvation he did not say one of the power he did not say even most of the power he said that God's gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes to the Jew first and also to the Greek salvation is superior deliverance restoration from the law to the total man it will happen to everyone who who believes notice it the belief keeps coming keep appearing after the words the gospel how we we we lay hold of it and what it promises us if believe everybody shall believe and we will come to examine in this session why believe you know for many years after I got I got born again I never knew why why I'm saved by faith why are you saved by faith do you know why you are saved by faith I did not know what many years after I got born again I just know I I'm supposed to believe and I get saved but I never knew why why believe why not many other ways God would have could have chosen why did they forgot so loved the world that whosoever believed why not who so ever achieve thank God it it's not achieve or whosoever live morally whosoever would help the poor and I'm so in anonyme there could have been a million other ways God have chosen for for us we reconcile with him but is they know no other way just one way faith why this session you won't find out why it's so fundamental to our Christian faith so if you see here the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes to the Jew first and also to the Greek for na in this gospel in this good news the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith that you believe you experience it as it is written but the righteous man shall live by faith is the believing like I said just now for many years I believed I thought I believed you know and I think to happen in my life the healing these there and all that you know and to be to be set free from addiction and bondage and all of that in a struggle and a struggle you know and I thought I prayed I cried you know I try to undo these godly fasting and this you know to make him answer my prayer I did not see happen but when I came to believe realize what he has done and it's implication and ramification and he when I believe two things happened the miracles took place the healing took place a provision that delivers the restoration I did not know so easy that it hinges on belief that I believe what Jesus have said what Jesus have done who he is and imported I am not ashamed you know why he had to say this because when he preached this message he was being shamed by religious people how dare you how there you say that we can just believe and receive salvation and everything from a messiah how dare you suggest something so foolish by just simply believing because they were believing so much in your own works you know and and and and they they attempted to shame and condemn and attack Paul that's why Paul has to say I am not ashamed so likewise I want to add a vow to live a life that is not a chain of such a simple message that can bring such such benefits to men such a blessing such an awesome heavenly blessings to mankind we're not ashamed it's so simple but yet it's so profound this message we're not a shame of this gospel these good news I mean say I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ when you when you grasp it and you realize how simple it is and yet how to study has been anyone not ashamed to tell of it like it is tell of it like it is God work thank you up with power do you know God backs you up with power every time you preach the good news of Jesus Christ it's promised it's that's why that's why Paul says these words for our gospel not just any message it's a gospel message very specific message he says for our gospel did not come to you in word only or hot air you know but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction just as you know what kind of man we prove to be among you for your sake so Paul says I'm not only say I'm not ashamed of the gospel he said wherever this gospel is being preached what happened the power of the Holy Spirit were many fast to bring about full conviction in people's heart that this is the truth Wow what he sees is the truth do you know God promises you that that if you will not be ashamed of these good news and what tell of it and relay of it and we related with in its clarity God said I will back you up with my whole own Holy Spirit I will cost power to manifest to bring about conviction in the hearts of man to demonstrate what I promise so they they know the world may know that I am that good it's describing the good news God is wanting to back you up are you ready to be used by God I want to live for this I've staked my whole life on this message the something that we invest in line that God does there's something that we invest in life that is good but you know not all that important but the gospel I tell you my friends my brothers and sisters you can you can stake your whole life on it it's the best thing that's happened to us amen to know who Jesus is and to be able to boast of him both of him everywhere we go and he say every time you do that I will move to review myself I get to every problem of men is found in the gospel Romans 5 Romans 5 verse 10 for if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his son much more having been reconciled we shall be saved by his life while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his son that's the cross much more having been reconciled we shall be saved by his life his life is referring to the resurrection between the cross and the resurrection Jesus have solved every ill of men when we shall all be saved or experience also total total wellness do you believe that's what he promised that means this whenever the gospel is preached the power of the Holy Spirit manifest and operates to reveal God through signs and wonders bringing healing deliverance salvation and this is the specific message jesus said you've got to get a good grasp of it you got a tell of it in the nation and wherever you go to tell of it I want back you up with my spirit and with my power to review myself and my fullness or my glory everywhere you would tell them these good news I want to know what is this good news so I want to know what is the gospel do you want to know how the gospel well to sounding teachings is the gospel the word gospel is so synonymous to the world today as Christian teaching and it's called the gospel it's not the gospel is a specific message with a specific scene and with a specific mandate and commissioned by by Jesus that we are to preach it in its entirety and that you say you will back you up with its power to demonstrate his own glory it's a very specific message not just any Christian teaching so I need to start with this the gospel it's just not anything that we just pull up on the Word of God and there is a gospel that's not true so what is the gospel are you ready get your pen your pens or whatever or your input finger ready I'm gonna define for you because the gospel is called the good news right the gospel means the good news so what is this good news that define it so that we will not be twisted in our head by the enemy the good news is news that are good you right I'd already team right this is profound right news that are good if I'd caught the good news but today good news is hard to come by because good news today don't make good news on the TV the people would pay for people pay for bad news so an evening newscaster come forward as a good evening and what there was a lot of time here good you know the world does not have good news but the Word of God has good news not the whole word but the word has the good news amen I mean what is the good news we could have dive into it now the gospel define gospel means good news why so good its focus is on God's goodness and loved was man and what he has done to save man through Jesus from sin and damnation that's succinctly in one sentence what is the good news this good news has it seen it's on the goodness of God in what expression the goodness and love of God towards man as expressed through the person of Jesus Christ in saving us from talked in saving us from all sin and damnation the goodness of God as expressed through the person and work of Jesus Christ that's the good news that's what we major on to tell the world sir have you heard who the man called Jesus have you do you know he is God man do you know he has paid the price for you to be here sir sir have you heard about the Messiah good news is a person and what he has done reviewed to us extreme goodness of God to was a man is the good news the good news has a specific theme and it majors on the person Jesus amen not just anything not just anything from the Bible amen there are many things of the Bible they are truth I need to explain this you know some people may make you stumble I'm just saying the Bible's not true total Bible is truth but not every truth is the good news for example when the Bible says that the Bible says for all men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God is that the truth this the truth is that good news no this is very bad news we are all heading to hell we all have sinned against God Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death there is that the truth yes is that good news no I thank God what follows after that is the good news but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus that's the good news that is the good news that even though we have sinned against God were headed into eternal damnation and the separation from him God has done what it takes to redeem us completely back to himself permanently as a gift he would decide to have that's extreme good news and that's our focus and Jesus a tell of this focus to the world tell of me tell her what is done to review the goodness of God so in the process of telling the you it's a very specific message not just any Christianly message you take the gospel that I preached to you which also you received in which also you extend the mr. gospel is the foundation if you do not have a good grasp of the gospel you cannot stand and that's why many Christian and even ministers and ministry would collapse when it is not built on the foundation of the gospel without the gospel we will fall sooner or later you cannot do a building without this foundation and the gospel is our foundation to the Christian faith how vibrant is your walk with God how intimate how full of blessing and power and anointing enough of his many fast prices have directly got to do how much how much you really know the gospel we done the gospel you and I resolved the enemy will cost you the many know just three and four years let me see them really flourishing in the Lord because the gospel is really the foundation and when you have these foundations yo yo you up flourish and mature very quickly very quickly so I want to encourage us to to really make this our pursuit in life what is the gospel who Jesus is what does it mean what does it mean for me to be a Christian find out why he is accomplish for you all right now I want to continue in 1st Corinthians 15 let's go on by which also you are saved we are saved by the gospel the gospel they cause us to be able to stand if you hold fast the word which I preached to you unless you believed in vain if you hold fast the word that tells me there are many believers that do not hold fast to the gospel I'm just showing something that's outside this conference actually do you know in a New Testament when he says whenever it says the word hang on to the word preach the word is really talking about the gospel you're going to do a Bible and wonders followed them because the word in the New Testament is used synonymously with the gospel so it comes from hearing hearing by the word the words talking about the gospel because he says death his burial his resurrection that's the gospel so you understand now the gospel has a very specific theme it's on the person of Jesus Christ how through his redemptive work he reviewed the extreme goodness of God towards men that's extreme good news it's called the gospel the theme is a person the topic is on what he has done and the outcome is the goodness of God the extreme goodness of God revealed to men relate to men through this person in his work Jesus Christ is his name hallelujah we are now coming back to back to the centrality of our Christian faith what it really is about and that is so important so important and after this we hold fast to it the Word of God that you hope as you hope as to him then he was then you'll be strong and God can use you to display his glory kinds of problems challenges and then it starts to flourish flourish in their walk with God when they are grounded in the gospel but what God wants is to let the true come to our heat sing into our heart then it can be expressed through our hands with authenticity and then that's what many of our kids in the house of God with they fall away from the faith because true comes to them in the hips straight away into their hands your must do this visit it and they do many things without having those two sung in sung in the heart especially many the moment they leave this environment they fall because it never went into their heart the gospel is the true that really sucks into the heart and then when they what they come out in your hand become authentic is an expression of a personal walk and faith amen amen the gospel is what does that it caused a truth to be realized on inside and we lift out in our life displaying the glory of God let's write up the it's not only important it is of out the lies of the enemy in people's heart against God against his extreme goodness against God's love you know against God's reality the gospel is what there is the antidote to the to the poison of lies and deception that the enemy has used to trap many people and that's why the god of this world who Satan himself he finds to blind people how as long as people don't get to hear the gospel they will be kept trying and they withdraw to the reality that God is real and the God is good the Bible know that the gospel not only we use the glory the goodness of God it also reveals the identity who is this god that's so good that you come to believe in its Christ it says here the in which case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see see what the light of the gospel what does the light of the gospel revealed two things the glory of Christ who is the image of God the gospel reveal to you not only God is good he reveals to you that Jesus Christ is God he is the image of God come believe in him and you experience God and you a taste of his goodness amen the gospel in Soul reveals the life who is God and He is good and his name is Jesus hallelujah that's why the gospel is so powerful the gospel is so powerful you get it now the implication of knowing what is the gospel and why be that such a fight against the gospel there is such a fight against the gospel to blind you and told you from the from the implication of this good news in a human life so I want to encourage us in all our seeking in all our seeking in life sexists Jesus
