and oh that is what you want sorry i got excited insanely delicious chicken tacos why the hell not delicious check simple double check handful of ingredients going to make this just superb and there's a little asian influence to it is that the right way to put that little spicy asian i mean i'm using uh sambal chili sauce yes and soy yes and ginger yes so yes uh spicy and easy chicken tacos so about a teaspoon of fresh ginger so i'll just cut that like this get these edges off how much grass do these people have i don't know if you could hear max max just didn't hear that trust me i don't know there's a lot of gardening going on trust me they can hear that right fresh ginger there is no substitute let's just chop this up well i'm happy with this this goes in it's probably i know i said a teaspoon that's probably a tablespoon and i'm fine with that nobody freak out big pinch of salt and pepper or a decent sized pinch of salt and pepper and we mix like this and you really have to work the spoon through the honey to get everything mixed because the honey is obviously the thickest part all right now our chicken i cannot believe it's still going max is so mad right now and for our chicken what are we using max obviously thighs that's it buddy three chicken oh we got a leaf blower going now in a different yard he's so mad all right here we go i'm okay with a little bit of fat getting this extra fat off we just don't need it's gross that's gross i don't hate all things eyes are gross flies are not gross do you want a good taco or do you want a taco i think you want a good one so slippery is what it is great all right here's what i'm gonna do i'm gonna take the chicken and just make a few cuts across it just i like the idea of the the sauce the marinade getting in there a little better perfect perfect and now with the gardeners wailing away in the background we'll put this in a ziploc bag and i'm doing this with one hand because this hand has already been polluted by the chicken this this this standby let me get rid of this whole tray we've now got a clean surface and we can do this we'll take our marinade don't don't collapse on me now please beautiful let me rinse this hand and now we zip up now we zip the bag up somehow we zip up has a whole different connotation suddenly but spread it around you want this all covered really well like this we roll it up get as much air out as we can we do this and we let it sit perfect right throw it in the fridge how long chance uh at least half an hour could you go could you could go overnight could go overnight but i always say this if you got only a few hours i would rather you make this with less marinating time than say oh sam said overnight and i only have five hours i'm not gonna do it just make it it's gonna be great but if you can make it overnight if you can make it overnight what the hell might as well make a big-ass pile of it on a friday saturday go to town all right um i'm going to cut a little cabbage i'm going to make a little sauce to go in the bottom and then we're we're pretty close because i already have some marinating max just got happy he was pissed about the gardeners but he's happy now because he doesn't have to wait a long time for the flavors to develop down here cabbage sauce all right two things first some cabbage sorry for the noise this is a little baby savoy do their thing get some good color they'll give them a little turn more good color flip flip take off cut eat done okay it's been a couple minutes let's look at what we're dealing with nice let's just give a little turn get these guys marked up a little more i smell the sambal coming off them i don't think chicken tacos get enough love in the world and these are gonna be tremendous and oh that is what you want sorry i got excited i love that color that's it gorgeous all right we've probably cooked it two-thirds of the way on that one side we'll finish it off oh man oh man it's still going to be good i'm going to throw some of this on it might flare a bit it'll give us some flame and let me just push it in a bit before you get carried away that's pretty that might be a nice shot or something gorgeous man gorgeous and this is hot this is hot this is hot i'm hot i want to be done i want to go home and we're there so look at this please time to make some tacos okay so here's what we need to do we need to cut some chicken nice that's a beautiful little pile a couple more cuts gorgeous all right here's how we do this we take a tortilla and i'm using a small flower street size one because i just like the small size so we take some of our little sauce that we made the sambal and the yogurt little cabbage could be anything green purple who cares nice more chicken on top don't be cheap right nobody wants an allen tiny bit of cilantro of course because you're gonna do it because why wouldn't you do it because it's the thing to do and then look what you've got that a handful of ingredients cooks quickly you're eating in under half an hour it's gonna be insane you're gonna think it's too spicy because i used a lot of the sambal it's got heat to it but in the most delicious way chicken perfect the little crispy edges do that make sure you get this super hot grill that's the way to go oh my god i'm gonna chicken tender delicious because i didn't overcook it and b i used
