South Korea's Bullet Train is UNMATCHED 🇰🇷 (Seoul to Busan)

good morning from Seoul South Korea I just arrived here in Seoul station the subway and now I need to get to the Seoul train station so I need to transfer from the subway to the train station today I'll be taking seoul's high speed train to Busan so let's go okay so it looks like right here is soul station and it looks like I need to take exit one so we're not gonna go to the airport so we are gonna go to Seoul station here KTX peplav 6500 won on there okay soul stations Transfer Center okay easy enough we just follow the signs here for the KTX and I should get it say yeah I'm excited to see Busan and discover what the sort of ocean side of South Korea is like so yeah now I have given myself plenty of time it's just past 10 o'clock I believe and the train doesn't leave until 12 24. so I think what I'm gonna do is I'm pretty sure there's like a very large eating area I also think there's like a glossy world or low T world over here or low T latte department store and something that I've wanted to try I also think there's like a lot Surya as well here so maybe I'll try that as well but we're going to discover Soul station so yeah so yeah I have my e-ticket here and from what I understand I don't even need to get a physical ticket I still might get one but this ticket cost me 45 US dollars and I am not flying or sorry I'm not riding first class I think first class might have been like 68 70 something like that my research it didn't seem to make sense to go first class I normally do upgrade if I can but for this one it didn't make sense Soul station is the big one it's sort of like Tokyo Station or Shinjuku in Tokyo yeah it's very easy you can see the numbers here pointing you it's also well equipped with that bathrooms and shops and everything that you might need here storage lockers as well so yeah I'm assuming that I can spend quite a bit of time here at the train station without getting bored so I also had one of those things where I the time slot for my Airbnb it didn't really line up I had to get out of my Airbnb so that was another thing but yeah okay okay yeah so lotsy Mart lotsy Outlets and the KTX is up here we go over here [Music] it is uh definitely very hot right now so what is it September 12th I think yeah September 12th so summer should be winding down but it's not it's very hot here KTX is up here okay Lottie outfits I'll figure out the right way to say it I don't know if it's latte latte I don't know floaty tell me in the comment section how do I say it I'm sure I'll figure it out before this series ends but I'm gonna go check this small out I just want to make sure I get my bearing straight here and get into the uh station so I know where I'm going it's like a massive Starbucks over here as well we even got a Nike store okay very cool all right thank you okay so KTX it's quite busy guys it's quite busy it's a Tuesday so we've got a pharmacy we've got a Duncan got some Baskin Robbins over there and uh toilets as well I'm taking Co rail so I would really like to just ask somebody a question I don't want to wait in line here but I do need to figure out where I'm going before I go check out shops and everything tickets Please just take it for quick purchase okay [Music] I got the audio on on camera but I don't like to always film people who don't want it to be filmed so apparently 15 minutes before I need to go my uh train number will be on the Monitor and then I'll go in here and find the platform so seeing as I do not take off until 12 24 I have two hours to explore here so I've got plenty of time okay guys well easy enough uh e-ticket works I don't have to pick up any physical tickets and uh yeah I just show the the e-ticket when I'm ready to board I've got plenty of time here so let's explore Seoul station so you can see there's a waiting area here and yeah I will say people have been helpful when you have a question here see a waiting area we've got lots of Loteria or Loteria McDonald's Paris croissants Outlets I'm gonna go in there and I'm also probably gonna eat at Loteria because I've never been there and I've been wanting to try it so yeah we also have more waiting areas it's like a bank it's a really nice station guys really nice station looks like you have other shops as well you need to pick something up before you leave such as like uh it looks like a phone case or if you need luggage it also seems to be a lounge over here as well okay that's for the Armed Forces and and is there an upper floor it looks like there's an upper floor as well I don't know if I necessarily want to because right now I have of course my two bags so yeah I need to figure out what to do with this I think I can just like grab a cart here in latte world or low T world and you guys are gonna crush me in the comments section because I don't know how to say it right but uh yeah I'm putting my bags in there so yeah let's check it out guys I most feel like right now would be best to go to lots of Loteria because it's not yet lunchtime this looks interesting it's like a rice burger like instead of buns it's let's try this guy I'm gonna eat now yeah let's go eat now I haven't had much of anything today oh it looks like I can order here English uh cards recommended menu oh bacon ham egg bun it is still early I won't lie that sounds good vegetable rice bulgogi Burger this is interesting what do you get it lauteria what is the thing to get I would like some chicken I think oh it looks like you got like squid rings oh my gosh natural cheese I'm gonna get one of these for sure and then let's see chicken [Music] fire wing okay oh I don't know guys what do I get um I don't know what the signature item here is kind of would rather do a cheeseburger conventional wisdom says you have to get chicken in South Korea I don't know we'll just do the classic cheeseburger okay let's see if it takes my card guys oh it's okay Apple pay works too but okay 4.91. [Music] hey guys I didn't want to go crazy on the food because I'm definitely gonna be eating later here's the uh latte Burger classic cheeseburger it tastes like exactly like McDonald's but heavier on the mayonnaise much heavier on the mayonnaise I'm not a mayonnaise guy but this is like a McDonald's Patty in fact I wouldn't be surprised reached out to McDonald's and said how do you make your Burgers taste like your burgers this tastes like a McDonald's hamburger [Music] okay interesting mixing up these mozzarella sticks which I love my sticks no cheese [Music] actually they're not bad I'm a little this was not wasn't expecting but I'm glad I tried it I needed to try it so to mozzaria so right across from Loteria you can get yourself an entire tray box of Krispy Kreme donuts I was about to get one of these but then I realized I only wanted one donut wow it's an entire day of calories basically in one box imagine if it dispensed one donut that was the case I'd be all over that curious to see what other vending machines are here and then I'm gonna go into latte world you know what I'll check out the vending machines later let's go into lots of worlds maybe there's a shopping cart or something because right now I'm just rolling around here with my two bags I should say walking around okay so I have to be real I probably wouldn't need a hotteria again I don't know yeah if I had to I would but that was my experience I'm sorry okay you've got like a really nice brand here called snow peak it's a really nice uh friend uh 200 000 won for this jacket I guess that would be like a hundred dollars I think oh 150 dollars but snow Peaks are really high quality Brands like basically like North Face these vending machines okay these sea drinks are always nice maybe I get one I don't know I would need a recycling somewhere what other things do we have here Diddy grinder ek7 I don't know what this is huh I don't know oh wow wow should we do it yeah I think we should okay green tea latte all right so uh what oh I don't know okay I guess I pressed the right one let me uh let me see what a green tea latte is like from this oh okay look it's giving you the countdown here 57 70 percent looks like lid here all right well there's the matcha latte I just don't pick up one of these gosh what are they called mugs cup sleeves so my hand doesn't burn on actually you know what I think I'm good um wow that's an insane latte oh my God now I'm sure it's full of sugar do you see this this is like a legitimate matcha latte that you would get at a coffee place wow that's insanely good wow wow I'm like floored I don't even I'm blown away I don't even know what to say about this wow okay vending machine martial latte is not supposed to taste that good I'm telling you I drank this whole thing that's crazy okay so now we've got a latte Marts so I'm curious to see what a grocery store looks like here so let's check it out and I think yes my plan here is to be able to put my bags in this cart so I can stroll around without having to carry them all day perfect okay all right guys we got our shopping cart now let's go shopping of course you ever get a shopping cart that just doesn't stroll properly okay yeah this thing's not strolling straight oh gosh you know what I mean it's like shopping cart from hell oh gosh hmm is there anything I need here this is like a whole department store basically I mean it's a grocery store but you can get anything you need here maybe it's weight distribution I don't know maybe I'll get a snack for the train ride yeah maybe I'll get a snack for the train ride that might seem like a smart thing to do and probably a bottle of water or two say like most things here in Seoul it's very clean in here very orderly designed very well aesthetically pleasing all of that card sucks but maybe I just got a bad car it's like you even have free samples here okay vegetables eggs Seafood meat oh real steak beef jerky that would be real this looks sick I'm not getting this whole thing but that's 140 grams uh 1300 calories of beef jerky here real steak oh it's the gift Edition thirty five thousand won which is almost thirty dollars something like that twenty five thirty dollars something like that I guess it's not bad as a gift and it's real steak that's pretty impressive I would certainly love to get that as a gift or love to give that to somebody as a gift wow look at all these Smoked Meats here guys these dried Meats oh my God I'm almost tempted to give to myself that I'm almost tempted to give to myself that is there a second floor hmm I'm curious let's see what a carton of eggs looks like here in uh South Korea let's see how much it costs okay lots of egg options here just like in America all right like uh the white variant of eggs which are typically cheaper than the Brown Bearing oh no Brown Bearing are cheaper than the whites that is interesting so okay you're looking at five dollars for it's a dozen it's a dozen eggs or maybe more oh 15 maybe 15 inches over a dozen okay that's pretty expensive it's about what I was paying in the US eggs have gotten insanely expensive I wonder if they're cheaper ones yeah if you want to go cheaper you can get 25 for 9 000 which is like seven that's way cheaper that's a good deal that's a good deal on eggs and this this is probably even cheaper here look at this you can get all of these eggs 6 12 18 24 24x for seven dollars that's actually pretty good pretty good eggs are always a good way of tracking inflation do you not agree at least food inflation well they even have an almond store each bath almond store wow there's so many almond options here look at this these are all different types of almonds do we need to get one I almost feel like we need to get one here foreign what oh I think I'll get some almonds oh there's a mayonnaise almonds [Music] Starlight bang bang almonds what is that what is a Starlight bang bang almonds see this like I want to try that I might go for it Jeju um matcha almonds carrot cake almonds Hazel almonds oh I'm probably holding people up okay coffee nut almonds okay the Cherry seems like what I would like but I also want to try this you can grab five packs for twenty thousand wands yeah I'll grab two packs and see how much it is I'm curious one of them's just to try you know what I'll get smaller ones oh I can get three I can get three for ten thousand won or nine thousand one hmm let's get three what else do I want to try it's here almonds are you serious all right yeah let's get tiramisu on this [Applause] okay well I've got almonds [Music] I've never heard of HVAC almonds all right this is interesting okay guys well I got this whole bag of groceries I got three uh containers of almonds three bags of almonds I got another like snack thing and a big bottle of water it only cost me nine dollars actually I think that's a pretty reasonable price I also have to pay for the bag which is fine but yeah pretty reasonable price and notice there's a bag system here in Korea where this was in my Airbnb where basically this is for General waste the pink one you can see there's even like writing must read household waste should be placed in this bag and then these following things would require fine less than one million won Food waste and recyclables so if you throw food waste or recyclables in the pink bag you can get fines not more than one million won which is quite a bit but yeah the recycling and the waste disposal process here in Korea is no joke it's no joke so you're aware now just take a look at this train station it's super nice feels like you're in an airport truthfully I mean you guys saw me filming inside there it certainly feels like you're in an airport and with all these uh latte stores yeah it makes it really convenient if you get here early like me now I've still got over an hour before I need to even get in there so yeah I think what we might do is we might try some Korean snacks here before I get on the train all right guys well you can see the outside shot of Soul station here and I have a ton of time so why don't you why don't we say what do we say we uh crack open this screen snack here what is this it's like um I don't know it looked interesting Apple gummies probably my favorite candy of all time is anything that is like gummies and Japan had a lot of really cool gummies that you could buy I was in gummy heaven in Japan but yeah let me see what the cream gummies taste like and then I think I'm also just like I'm dying to know what that one flavor of almond tastes like as well sorry I only have two hands here so it looked like it's get one out here out here here it is wow it tastes exactly like a super sweep green apples I love green apple one of my favorite flavors yeah I think I will keep some for the train ride maybe not I can absolutely smash gummies let me see I also was able to pick up this massive bottle of water here it was very cheap so yeah this is the flavor of almonds that I'm like very interested in trying Starlight bang bang almonds so let's give it a rip literally and figuratively whoa okay I was not expecting that whoa oh this is gonna be hella sweet I can tell you that look at this almond it's like turquoise oh oh my God I died and went to almond heaven oh that's crazy guys hold on okay I can't eat this whole thing because it's not healthy this is candy but around an almond so do you see the little bits sticking out it's literally Pop Rocks I can hear it smash like popping in my mouth it's literally Pop Rocks and this is a really old school childhood flavor that I'm trying to remember it's like childhood oh my God these are so good might as well also try the tiramisu almonds oh good choice I'm glad I went with these HVAC almonds I mean are they healthy no no definitely not oh no oh yeah oh yeah heavy on the coffee but it has that tiramisu flavor let's go for the hat trick here try the Cherry almonds the tiramisu is not my favorite but it was like three for nine thousand won so you might as well oh yeah oh it's like a black cherry soda oh oh that is so good all right well there's the Korean snacks I got I'll probably see you when I'm boarding the train number 29 looks like we're track four so let's go I was informed that I just need this and we should be good okay track number four got about uh let's see here oh 19 minutes objectively the best train station I have ever been in no question this is like an airport so yeah you can see that there's even more options here to like eat uh down here as well okay hopefully it comes soon I think it people told me that it boards 15 minutes early so should be boarding anytime oh there it is I believe okay let me see what cart uh car I am okay so car five seat seven a we're just going economy today and on the way back like I said I think it's like a 20 it was like a 30 25 30 upgrade for first class it didn't seem to make sense but yeah okay it's like this is it car nine car eight part seven it is power seven thank you yeah so guys this train I didn't talk about this this train goes over 300 kilometers per hour so that's faster than the train I went on in Japan so this is going to be pretty insane from what I okay 29 and this is 29 okay I ended up taking the window I don't know why I decided to take the window okay here we are 7A get my bags up there and okay guys well here we go so I need to talk quiet because it's a very quiet trade but there's enough room for my bag here and enough leg room there's also this foot hook up here to put this snack bag I got it straight here eating or working so yeah good to go hey guys I actually went to the wrong car actually car five [Music] car five seven a okay now I'm good I've done that I did it in Japan and now I did it as Alexia we got this to myself all right we've arrived well here's a shot of the train it was a very smooth easy ride here you know I'm just gonna take the stairs be easier it's always preferable to waiting in these lines since uh traveling with two bags and I can tell you I can smell the ocean breeze smell the water it feels like we're closer to the the sea and yeah that was a very smooth ride I would say South Korea's high speed train is unmatched truly believe that that was definitely the nicest train ride I've taken and I've
