Solving Puzzles in THE ROOM: OLD SINS!!

you know guys it welcome back ok today's video is a little bit different first of all the fact that we don't have this epic intro for a puzzle and everything else probably wondering what the hell is going on we've got a few puzzles and plus I've got a whole bunch of the male come in like we're literally we've got a backlog for months of puzzles however I thought I'd switch it up a little bit a lot of you guys in the comments have been commenting about this app called the room and which is an app where you solve puzzles in this mysterious weird darkish realm has a lot of things in the digital realm that you can't really do in in reality which is cool so it allows you to explore other options plus it's creepy and it's cool this is not by any means a sponsored video I'm not gonna say I haven't reached out to them to ask them to sponsor this video if they've declined but I still wanted to make this video because I think this is a really cool app I left the link below again not paid to say any of this it's won all sorts of awards in the App Store it's always top trending in the game section and they come out with these new expansions ever so often this is the latest one the profits probably been out for like a year I think they're working actually on like a VR edition of the room which would be insane I would live there but yeah I thought I'd give this a shot we might not run through the entire game in one video I might make it a part 1 if you guys want to see some more of this you know you know what to do you know that there's the thing that's right here you can let me know in the comments if you want me to pursue this every now and then maybe not on Wednesdays maybe we can make this a bonus video anyways I don't know I'm ranking and I'm rambling I just wanted to I feel a little bit insecure about not delivering a physical puzzle this week so I thought I'd share my insecurities and project them onto you so that in further ado let's let's get started on this app so this is the latest edition called old sins it's really interesting the graphics here are really well done a new game okay it's giving us a little bit of a tour searched every room in the house but this attic oh but this attic okay I won't get much further in the dark so turn the light on swipe scream to look around it is is tutorial okay we're looking around got it I think it's broken I'll need the screwdriver from my case let's screw or is this my case well this has to be my case it's giving us a bit of a tutorial into the physics of the game alright here we go that's my case that's my screwdriver baby my notebook holds all the information I was given for this assignment got your driver taken this is my notebook Vittorio's engineer mr. right yeah creepy as hell double tap the dollhouse to explore will do investigate the dollhouse let's go first things first the gate what's going on here looks like a globe but it isn't complete okay yeah oh there's that there's like a in here see what's up here I would expect such a prominent part of the house to be more decorative so probably something missing there as well anything in the yard no what about over in this tower I don't want a hint we're not doing hints right now how did that be maybe maybe I'll take those those words back eventually can i okay I can't get to the back of this dollhouse so everything we need should be here oh here we go what's this it's coming up from inside the room below but something's missing yet we get it lots of things are missing is there one thing that isn't missing that we could use right now just prodding and poking around here so the cogwheels here is there's a cog missing here there's there's there's one cog missing obviously what about the streetlight and you can do the street light no well it's allowing me to zoom in on this part but there's nothing standing out so weird normally these games as well you get these you get these goggles you put on and and the goggles are are like like x-ray goggles I can't touch that little W here and won't let me touch that well here we go that's definitely something that's definitely something okay I'm sorry something's missing really tempted to get a hint maybe that's what they want me to do is just get a hint maybe the dollhouse I wonder how secure the front gate is okay that's the only Hitler yep all right it's the gauge aha all right that's the only one we're using oh oh yeah that's right now where you get the goggles let's get those goggles component here ah here we go that's right mmm am I getting in there physically is it that's how this game kind of breaks barriers out down because normally we wouldn't be able to look inside the tiny doll house with such close proximity Oh weird okay whatever this is we're inside first things first let's open this book seems to be some dark forces at play here they're unloading apparatus by the cartload and I see my husband transform into a wide-eyed child like really he hasn't been this animated since he left the Royal Institute the men work in silence and stand awkwardly in my presence hands dent heads down silent why are certain men so threatened by women of intelligence they will warm to me as they come to know me I am sure the main thing is that Edward is working again let me make sure there's okay seize the book in this dollhouse holds hold more than their cover suggests this is like bloodstains here have a look here and we know nothing of what this thing does yet so next puzzle oh here we go a little smudge you know what sometimes the actual there's more things to explore here no there are not can I go anywhere else in this room yes of course a brass metal coin okay this is like something I gotta line up Booya we know where that goes stop giving me hints why is it giving me little tips that was the the null must lie beyond that was the same sign that was in her briefcase we were at a pit a bunch of times we going whoo okay now ones missing is there something there seems to be something missing here well obviously we're gonna go explore those animals see what's up another middle coin obviously that fits into the other thing let's just go explore this one just in case there's something on the other plinth plinth plank plinth never say that word in public link it's like the word twelfth LV th for consonants in a row just twelfth 12 I'm 12 just to go through this animation every time right there side right here first we've got to open this coin up get her ocular on do this thing again what is this an ornate metal panel let's have a look imagine having like this puzzle box I think the closest I've ever gotten to having something like this is you know when Craig Thibodeau built something okay ah there's some there's some things going on in there that worked I gotta press the yellow buttons okay so you gotta get two of them at a time nice I am pretty good at this we have the triangles squares that we need that looks like my thing might fit there nope a strange artifact let's have a look at this strange artifact just to see how strange it really is Oh what the hell is that what the hell is going on I should not be in here haha alright we've corrupted the foyer of the mansion it is now corrupt with dark evil forces okay I have found the seal my employer spoke of it is weakened but far from broken I'm clearly on the path to finding the null element let's do one more level and then we'll call that a dig is that that in real time took me about 28 minutes this is a fun let me know if you guys enjoy this I kind of enjoy it maybe this is just for me I don't know the artifact that I picked up I think I should take a closer look at it yeah that's what I was going to do we know where that goes we know where that goes booyah maybe oh we know where that goes all of a sudden all these missing pieces are coming together oh here we go [Music] oh so now we have access to the entire house is that what's going on and where we saw that other artifact is this thing here let's have a look at this an ornate metal panel to take a look with these glasses right click see if there's nothing that stands out it doesn't look like it this be more okay so we're missing something here okay well they can complete things going on there's nothing leading up to that balcony right so we need stairs so that's north we had one that said South we definitely have to find a spot for that artifact to go now we've got South here okay so that's gonna come in handy eventually there's no way to know how the wind is blowing right it's telling me I have a clue here but I'm not gonna not gonna fall into that here we go this yep no okay that's that's one thing that moves that's all we know this hole anything in here something's not right here as well yes Oh huh I got to match the configuration over here so this one's up straight up this one is over a bit to this side this one Oh sneaky okay all right got to move all these to let that one through okay that's a cool puzzle a little sequential puzzle here so first we move the master one which is pointing down yes and this one up yep nice huh cool dollhouse I've ever seen in my life okay it looks like uh-huh this study here we go okay this is this is it Oh got some symbols up there the artifact is trapped inside the machine got you get that artifact out of here that lever is stuck okay let's check out the book first no this again my wife calls her voice rising up from the hall is it today so soon my mouth hangs limp as I watched my humble study transform there in it there are entire faculties less well-equipped some of the machinery I can barely name I remember the smile remember to breathe it's so vague everything they're saying they're not saying anything really and the target of my research is a curious thing some newly-discovered element the properties of which are ill understood so rare so valuable so we got three levers right mm-hmm they're kind of like pistons and but we didn't have this thing blocking it at the top is there something else in this room that will aid me on my quest can I go and here we go what is this okay this is a cool desk Oh oh nice I like this puzzle no is that not it oh I see there's one on every side there we go oh it seems to be like a little artifact in there as well if something goes in there yep I can't rotate this by hand all right a tool is required okay what handles what the handles fixed in the position right we got you okay so Oh going on here pictures yeah I've noticed if you Captain Obvious oh it's a code thing wrong there's more things over here Oh God let's make our way over here oh we've got so many things going on right now we know where that goes wrong okay I medallion with four holes wait do we see something that requires oh of course damn baby now we have this now we go no still no okay what's this look like well it's got a little cross in the back oh yes there we go Boosh all right another one of these things here sounds a bit more difficult or is it let's go found you a crank handle baby whatever this mechanism is missing whatever drives this mechanism is missing okay well I'm guessing it's the crank handle yep okay so here you sit there just like a bring their oh it's the other way around okay that one oh now you'll be going up first that's good now these just need to switch these two around all in a day's work hmm part of a model well alright sick so we got a few tools here I think we can we got one tool have a look at this well first okay part of the model oh that goes outside and maybe lower the bucket open them like that this is another place we're getting there the kitchen alright before we delve into the kitchen alright guys I think that's enough we've we've covered two on like one and a half rooms this is really fun and addicting and I could play this for hours but I won't I'll restrain myself and if let's say if this video gets 20,000 likes I mean that's pretty substantial it reaches 20,000 likes I guess I'll do another one of these I hope you enjoyed it I really enjoyed myself honestly this is
