God Damn this is hilarious.
Oh boy.
The entire thing's still funny, though.
Scathing, yet completely true. Hopefully the majority of the fanbase sees it the same way and doesn't attack a genuinely funny video.
Razzle Dazzle Dorito is what I'm calling Bill from now on.
"Haha this video was really funny, I'll discuss it on Reddit!"
sees all the Mabel fans and Mabel haters fighting
slowly backs away
Yes! Mabel doesn't develop at all as a character! It's why the episode with Love God is the worst episode in the series. Great opportunity to show her development as a character and instead they use it to tell a dumb joke.
And like the video says, she gets everything she wants while Dipper has to give everything up for her. It's ridiculous.
Just...ugh.
I love the idea of waddles being the author of the journals.
/u/Spidey10 gonna be pissed
Not the biggest Mabel fan in the world, but I feel like the "Mabel gets no development" thing was overexaggerated. Her biggest follies were obsession with boys and desperate desire to stay a kid forever - she overcomes both at the end. Also It's not like Dipper didn't regress in his character development a couple of times. How many times did he try to impress the wrong crowd or go too far in his pursuit of knowledge, then realize that it's a bad idea, but do it again a couple of episodes later?
Also, "Boo, Mabel's selfish!" and "Wendy is The Strong Female Characterβ’, and should've saved the day in every episode!" arguments get mentioned, but "Boo, Ford is selfish!" and "The ending was unsatisfactory!" don't? For shame, JelloApocalypse! If you wanna start a flame war in the comments, do it properly.
