[Music] [Music] the P 365 Excel Romeo zero package from sig sauer so out on a range with the sig p3 65 Excel with the Romeo 0 on it now I purchased this about three weeks ago from sports world in Tulsa and I've been waiting on this package to get in stock I've told him I wanted one for quite some time and they've been trying to get one in and they finally got me one in so I went down there and picked it up and brought it home and tried to shoot it and I couldn't get it to zero at all with this Romeo 0 I mean it was shooting 8 inches high and I think if we had a little bit of footage of that I'll insert here now with the iron sights or the Romeo 0 has a notch in the back for the rear sight and in your front sight which does Co witness with them I was hitting dead-on but the dot would not come down no matter what I did and it came on the pistol pre-installed so I thought it would have been maybe at least factory zeroed or at least close it was nowhere near like I said and it wouldn't move so I kept messing with it kept messing with it kept messing with it and probably unscrewed it too far because it eventually quit doing anything now this all happened on a Monday evening when I was shooting it's a Tuesday morning I got up I called sig contacted them about it told them exactly what it did and everything happened and they really didn't ask any questions whatsoever the guy was super nice said hey I'll email you a return shipping label you just put it in an envelope send it to us and we'll try to get you one out as soon as possible he said maybe they'll cross paths in the mail even so I printed off the shipping label dropped it off FedEx and like the very next day I got a shipping notification from sig with a tracking number and it ended up being like Monday or Tuesday for I got it due to the weekend but still I got it in basically a week from whenever I called him about it in the first place so they was very quick to take care of the problems I will say that the customer service was excellent in the whole situation but I got the new one put it on and the first time I shot probably every bit of a hundred rounds trying to zero just kept messing with it and kept messing with it the second one I had it zeroed in the first 15 around mag so I was super happy with that and it seems to be working perfectly fine ever since and I've already got a few hundred rounds through it so let's take a few more shots with it let's see it's almost perfect now it's on the 15 round mags [Music] all right let me go load them up we'll shoot a little more all right got the magazines loaded let's take a few more shots this gun is just really a pleasure to shoot and I really do like this little dot even though it's all plastic it seems pretty tough and seems to work really well [Music] one more 15 all right let's go inside where it's a little cooler and we'll talk a little bit more about what comes with it when you buy the P 365 XL Romeo 0 package and just my thoughts on it so get you in there alright we've met it in off the range so let's take a closer look at what you get when you buy the be 365 XL Romeo 0 package comes alone you know typical hard case you get of course your gun and Romeo's zero mounted you get two 12 round mags you get an extra battery you get the manual for the Romeo 0 which is well kind of lacking a little it's just one little folded up piece paper you get the Allen wrenches to adjust it and to install it and remove it and it didn't have this warning card on here and it says warning never adjusts the windage your elevation screws when the Romeo 0 is removed from the firearm adjusting the screws beyond their travel limits may damage the side so there's that then of course you got your manual for the pistol and just some different cards six sticker some hats from sig and your pistol walk all right let's take a closer look at the gun itself it has a Nitron coated stainless steel slide now this is a modular handgun so it has interchangeable grip frames it has a 3.7 inch barrel it has x-ray three front Nightside it does have six proprietary rail in the front so lighting choices are pretty limited unless you want to use one of the recover tactical rail adapters it has an integrated mag well the grip texture is really nice on these I really like these little guns the weight with the optic is just under 20 ounces so it is slightly lighter than if you had of the rear sight plate inside installed so you save a little weight by adding the optic actually now the trigger pull on this gun came in right at four pounds and two and a half ounces the overall height with the optic installed is right at five and a half inches with the 12-round magazine and with the 15-round magazine it comes in just around six and a quarter inches the overall length on this gun is just shy of six and three-quarters inches and the width is almost exactly one inch now the integrated rear sight notch on the Romeo zero does Co witness perfectly with the factory front x-ray three night side now one of the downsides of buying this is a package versus buying it separately is they do not include the rear plate back here or the rear sight so like whatever I had to send my side in the gun was completely unusable because I didn't have the rear plate I could put on it so that's kind of a downfall to me I mean it does save you a little bit of money buying it as the package versus buying it separately but you can't even buy the rear sight plate and sight anywhere online at least that I found now the real world price on this package is gonna be right around $700 now one thing I do really like about the p 365 XL is you've got the option for the 15 round mag and it makes it a little taller but it's definitely a small package for 15 rounds of nine-millimeter now as far as holsters go there's a main different tax companies that are making holsters to work with the optic on it but as far as leather holsters go yeah I couldn't find that many the only one I really found in tan leather was the de santis I think it's a speed scabbard and I'm not just crazy about this holster it's all it's a nice holster but the way it latch at her fastens to your belt and stuff it tends to want to shift a little I don't love it that much but it's nice it does fit it it's a nice holster now under the Romeo 0 itself now this is a polymer housing and a polymer lens actually now Singh claims their lens is ten times more impact resistant than glass now the weight on this optic is only point four ounces it has a width of 0.9 three inches the height is also point nine three inches the length on it is one point six inches and this one is the three MOA version now to offer a six MOA and it fits the our MSC footprint uses a CR 1632 battery now sig claims that this Romeo 0 is to have a battery life of about 10 years but I think I'll change mine a lot more often than that now it does have 8 brightness levels and it's motion activated so it'll go to sleep after 2 minutes of being completely still and you know as soon as you pick it up wakes up automatically now some of the downsides to the Romeo 0 in my opinion or the location of the button and it only has a single button I'm try to get in here where you see this but when you have big fingers like mine it's kind of tough to get in there and even push the button about smearing up the lens but yeah it's down inside it right behind the lens and then it only has one button so you have to go through and it's got some goofy thing it blinks so many times I don't know you have to read the instructions to remember exactly how all the brightness settings work and then you also have to remove it to change the battery out they didn't make it where you could change it from the top which I rise it's a tiny optic can that be kind of tough to do well than that I do like the optic it does match the frame on the p3 65 perfectly and it sets up there very nicely and I seen some stuff online where some people were complaining that didn't tie it or look like it moved mine or perfect they do not move at all I don't know if those people in line didn't install them correctly or if there's just something was wrong with their optic but this one's perfect I can't say anything bad about it as far as fitment and I was pretty disappointed whenever I got the first one of the wooden 0 and then it quit working it was pretty disheartening but sig did come through and they came through quickly to take care of it super nice about it so I really can't complain about that I mean it's an electronic things happen so as long as this one holds up and continues to hold up I think it'll be a great little optic and if you're looking for a tiny little carry package I mean this gun feels smaller than it really is but it shoots like it's a lot bigger gun and that's one thing I really like about the p3 65 XL they shoot great even though it's a you know pretty small little gun and I'm really all about the red dots now and really think I'm going to enjoy this one and I've carried this in some and it just disappears it's so also definitely it's worth checking out but if you enjoyed this video make she hit that like button if you think someone else will share it out and if you think I earned it consider subscribing we'll see you next time
