Sig Romeo Zero: Finding Zero

[Music] hey guys I am out at the range today and I am zeroing in my say Romeo zero on my Kanak elite FC so I would take you through the steps a little bit I'm gonna probably do some probably five round increments of shots or whatever so I can get my red dot zeroed in the one thing I found I couldn't find any literature in regard to what the measurements were for the clicks for this particular site and we'll dial it in as we take our shots here and so let's see how this thing is doing I did bore sighted in have a feeling that that's not probably not going to be good enough so we'll have to get her on target I want to go out ten yards away approximately 10 to 15 and the 15 yards I would guess and so that's my that's my distance and so I'm gonna try to get this sucker dialed in so alright let's take our first shot I'm gonna try to as best as I can benchrest this so we can get a good point of impact and then what's hi-hi in a little left got 5 shots we do have we do have a lock back so that's good all right as you can see we do have a flyer over here we got one two three four shots right there so we have to bring it down and to the right all right so the sig Romeo zero does come with its own allen wrench and so we have windage and elevation and so we need to which what you want to do with a red dot is you want to chase the bull's eye so basically if we're shooting left and high we're gonna want to go right with our red dot and we're gonna we're gonna want to come down so a lot of people get confused with that so we're just gonna go right couple clicks they're not even clicks with this sight they're more like turns and then we want to come down so we will come down with our next five shots I'm gonna go probably a quarter of a turn see where that puts us all right time to reload and reshoot make sure ears are properly in all right here we go [Applause] got locked back again it is still up there and so I am still gonna come it's still gonna come down quite a bit but at least are as far as right left windage movement I think we're pretty much on target my last probably let's see one two three four who were right or I want him to be so it's just getting that elevation correct all right let's give this a try we're still up a little bit we got locked back again well readjust and come back alright hands are getting a little cold it's right above the bullseye come right down a little bit more I lock back again so these are functioning well with even the cheap ammo okay we're gonna come right just the old-school way of doing this let go a three-shot this time and it's right by the black box that's right above I think I went a little bit too far right all right hopefully you can see this but two shots placed there one shot place there so I'm gonna bring it over slightly to the left and maybe down just a touch but otherwise I think we're getting close all right three more rounds all right I think I got it right where I want it so I'm gonna do final check maybe I'll go shoot some steel all right hopefully you can see this but one two one two three I think I got a low one that might have been from before so I think we're pretty much dialed and I think I want to move it to the left just slightly because I want to get perfection inside this box so anyway tell whether it's a shooter error or ammo or you know is freezing cold out here today it's maybe like 18 or 19 degrees so got to do it in what you can [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] as you can see I got sick Romeo zero dialed him pretty good I think when it gets warmer I'll probably test it out on paper again further distance good about 25 yards so I'll take it out tomorrow when it's not something cold paper testing but otherwise I'm very impressed with it I still have to get used to carry and shooting this thing for sure it is pretty snappy that's the only you know I've carried my that's totally different that's a finger I love this gun more and I guess I get up to the range and this more paper testing done with it get some more rounds through it I'm impressed now I had one timer it failed to lock back but otherwise everything is locked back so far so far so good impressive it conveys the next one [Music] you [Music]
