Shooting REAL bullets taped to a BB gun

oh [ __ ] i might need to pump it huh what's up guys welcome back to the channel today we're going to be doing some crazy crazy science i have a bb gun set up down here we're going to be shooting rounds that are taped to the end of it i don't know what's going to happen you probably don't know what's going to happen we're going to find out together it's going to be crazy it's going to be dangerous we're going to see what kind of scientifical conclusion we can come to here are the rounds we're going to be trying out we're going to be starting with pistol caliber rounds 9 millimeter 45 45 long coat then we're going to work into rifle rounds we have a 2 2 3 a 7 6 2 by 39 then we're going to work our way into shotgun rounds we have a 410 a 20 gauge and a 12 gauge to end it off with so here is the setup we have we've got a little daisy powerline 880 bb gun i have it strapped to this wood so it is not in my hands right now i don't know what's gonna happen it's all about safety guys we have to be safe in this world warning the stunts in this movie were performed by professionals and special effects experts so neither you nor your dumb buddies should attempt anything from this movie we got a little string here so we can remote fire the gun from behind my car and this is how we have the bullets on here they're just taped on right on the end of the barrel we also have a little target set up here just to see if there's any power to these bullets once they do go off this thing is probably about two feet away so let's just see what happens okay we got it all set up got the string it is ready to be pumped get a few pumps on this little gun all right let's get back here under cover i got gopro set up should get a good shot okay guys here it goes first shot nine millimeter i'm a little nervous but we're behind the car so there's nothing that can happen i hear liquid that gopro footage is gonna be awesome let's check it out [Music] [Applause] the round definitely went off look at this it did push the barrel in a little bit but it looks pretty much undamaged and the bullet is actually inside of this bottle i think well maybe not it just looks like it like like glanced off the side i don't think it's actually in there i think it just hit it and redirected it just split the bottom well let's step it up to 45. so we got the 45 down there the nine millimeter degrade let's see what happens on this bigger round a little nervous a little delayed sounded kind of weird [Music] i don't know what happened guys the bullet is totally gone it does not look like it hit the bottle i have no clue what happened i'm glad i got the gopro set up because who knows let's check that footage out [Applause] [Music] all right guys that was pretty cool that slow-mo footage now we're going to be trying the 45 long colt and i set up a brand new 2-liter because bigger round i want to see this thing explode i don't know if it's going to explode but it's going to be fun to find out it's pretty cool just take these little things on and it's pretty interesting what they do i mean i guess if you hit the primer it's gonna go boom regardless there right well that's why we're doing all this scientifical videos on this channel all right let's go get behind safety that sounded great can i get up oh yeah thank you [Applause] it don't look like it hit the bottle though looks like the shell is still attached checking out that slow-mo footage the round did hit the 2-liter you can actually see it scratched it here and deflect it off somewhere in there somewhere that way in the woods [Music] just didn't have enough power to go through it's interesting stuff to know the nine millimeter busted it these other two because they're going slower i guess they just didn't penetrate this may have a better chance though this is a 2-2-3 you shoot it out of an ar-15 these go super super fast in an ar-15 so if anything's gonna have a chance of penetrating it's gonna be this round or the 762 i guess but this is the one we're gonna be shooting now all right the baby the baby's still right there okay that looks freaking awesome let's go try it all right here we go two two three i have to readjust my string it might help if i actually load the gun and pump the gun out guys i don't know what i'm thinking here we go two two three that sounded like nothing well smells like gunpowder this bull crap well looks like they ignited the primer but did not ignite the round for some reason let's go up to 762. that's what this is about to see if it works or not that one failed that 223 was a dud hopefully this 762 by 39 my ak round will just demolish this soda bottle get it taped up and we'll get back down there behind cover and try last rifle round and it's a big one and it sounds like it didn't go off either maybe the rifle rounds are just not gonna work with the bb gun dang it it let's go look same thing guys it hit the primer but it did not ignite all the powder i don't know why i would do that here's the primer right here oh i mean you can i don't know if you can see that on camera but you can see the bb hit the primer right in the middle you can see the dent the round indentation oh i do not know why the rifle rounds would not go off the handgun rounds went off great well we're here to find out all this science stuff let's step it up to the shotgun rounds shotgun rounds i love shotgun rounds 410. here we go that one sounded like it actually went off it looks like it definitely shot the bullet but it swelled it up from where it's not in a barrel and some of the shot is still inside of the shot cup that was an interesting result it looks like a lot of the powder blew back into the barrel interesting result the gopro footage was pretty cool the shot did hit the bottle it did not have enough power to penetrate i pretty much didn't think that it would i mean a bullet needs to be in a barrel that literally is what makes a firearm but we were checking stuff out guys we're checking stuff out let's step it up to a 20 gauge more power okay place your bets you think the 20 gauge will go through that two liter or at least go into the two liter at least bust it here we go i love hearing when they go off [Applause] [Music] it looks like all the power split the shell and on the gopro footage it looks like it just does miss the 2-liter looks like it all just blew out the side it's pretty cool you know what that means step it up to a 12-gauge this should be fun i'm actually going to move the 2-liter and put it right up against the round i want to get this 2-liter to blow up i got everything set up down there i got the gopro right up against the action should be cool gauge time here we go do i hear do i hear liquid i don't think he busted the bottle what the hell [Music] this is insane i think this is definitely evidence that you cannot tape a bullet to the end of this and it be lethal in any way i mean this thing is right up against the two liter and it didn't even pop it all i did was blow it out the side [Music] it's a little disappointing this two liters gonna be saved for another video i guess you know what i think i'm gonna ham fire this one time because i want to see if it has any recoil at all if you could feel the bullet push it back at all it seems safe to me i'm gonna do it here goes nothing got a 12 gauge i'm going to hand fire this thing got a human-sized target down here let's see if we can even hit it all right oh [ __ ] i might need to pump it huh here we go oh holy crap i think it did better with me hand firing it that totally went all out the end it didn't explode decide well guys i hope you liked the video it was pretty cool to see what would actually happen i think
