[Music] way back when I first started my channel I made this for my car now the problem here is is see that it's really irritating when this is spinning in your driving because you can't help but just keep it turning you know the issue I think is this is when I first started so I bought the amazing clear and I believe I waded out 1 2 1 and poured it well that's a by volume stuff and well at least what I used would by volume I believe so when I waded out 1 2 1 it was way too much hardener or way not enough some but the mix wasn't correct so this is what I ended up with tonight and I think that's why so I'm gonna make another one only this time I'm gonna keep the the red white and blue theme going for the month of July here and I'm going to already done these now I'm gonna fill these in red white and blue oops that one escaped a couple 45s why not and I have an arbor alright so this is a union a thread union that will fit the threads on my Ford my model 8 so this one here is I can't get it off because it's underneath that to hide it so you don't see it and these are just checking shotgun teasing the brass at the bottom of it I just drilled them out just to hide it and when we dropped these all in this is gonna be my arbor so I can hold on to it so it'll should have threaded into there so so that's gonna go in and this is gonna be my mold hopefully I don't break this when I drill a hole through the bottom of it and put my arbor in it okay so I have a rubber plug in there I need to fill this with resin you need to fill this with resume so that uh have any air pockets so yeah a set resin use a pipette and use the end for one of the Starbound glucose fill that up probably put another one on it gonna feel that one right now it's a fast set resume and we're gonna go with it just like this maybe it ever fills up ah there you go there you go okay what's the best for ya alright so and uh that's it I can't mess with it no more so I'm gonna mix up some resin and we'll get into pressure Paul [Music] okay then okay so apparently I didn't think about compressing the air inside there after I sealed it up but it's throw it a little bit of a wrench in it as you can see this is now at an angle but I think I'm just gonna bandsaw it off anyways that should still have enough to do what I wanted to do with it and then we'll get it on the lathe hopefully it didn't leak any and that's always worried about it did leak a little bit you see here so I'm putting that not bad at all hopefully I can get this off as Pierce came on the outside hopefully didn't come through the threads [Applause] all right so I got a little bubble in there that I can see I really had to clean these out because it it apparently got up in there even though I tried to seal it so I'm sure what I want to do now mm-hmm okay so into Jacob's Chuck on my mandrel I'm gonna try to shape the bottom here I'm not sure how this is gonna go I had problems with the hardness of the brass last time so I annealed these ones which consists of you know heating them up so they're going red drop it a minute cold water which is the exact interpretation of hardening steel so it's backwards anyways hopefully they're softer and then I sent them over to my dad's and he Sonic polished them so I'm gonna see if we can cut it with a traditional tool I might have to go to carbide this is as straight as I can get it on here so we're gonna try to shape it like this it might look more like a big teardrop by the time I'm done or an upside-down egg or something like that we'll see 2,000 rpm okay one thing I noticed right off the get-go no problem cutting it but it's really hot all the shirts that are hit me like like this guy here and there's a guy here I can feel those so I'm going to get a coat out and I'll be back to this in a second but see that no problem cutting it at all [Music] oh good you might have to go at carbide they're so soft they're rolling over residents melting all right so I had to switch the carbide it's a metal so the traditional tools just aren't cutting it when I kind of expected that right now that is a big old Boyd I didn't want I just ripped something out of there I'm not sure what it was I seen it fall I'm not sure what it was probably the primer out of there I'm trying to slope this offload and look more to to lose this and to lose this one because they've come out of there so that's all I'm doing right now [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] so what do I use for that I don't down now I think I could probably heat this up like this maybe not first through the resin pretty good [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] I thought it would be a little easier screwdriver being such a pain in the butt maybe I thought I'm thinking about too much but see that ripped open like that that shouldn't be like that so clearly okay it is yeah [Music] okay Carolee I'm up to 320 grit I am gonna put see a finish on it like I said just trying to get rid of a good majority of the scratches so that is what we have some of these holes I'm gonna have to hopefully they fill and we'll wipe it down with you see oh there yeah well have a tie with denatured alcohol here so that's what you got until it was so that's when we do see a finish so it looks like glass basically try to but I got bumping me also see how that goes but it needs some more sanding and that's what I'm gonna do right now a little bit of paste wax I'm the threads cuz I'm a little worried that I'm not gonna be able to get them off so hopefully the CA glue don't stick to this that's all I'm worried about right now I gotta run I couldn't barely get it off just now I'm gonna put some wax on it just to make sure I'm not done sanding yeah it's good to make sure yeah it might be 320 I just go under there ya know if it'll go all the way down without the nut on there [Music] yeah I want to be able to get it off you know go clean it up again with some more denatured alcohol does it very good like that shoulda intermingled them a little bit better so there's just like a blop of blue or black or red and black or white but 500 rpm I'll start buying superfast then there's a promo code in the description below release for 15% off I'm gonna do this just like a pen blank so five coats at the end then five coats of will assist then but it's yeah it's take so it's medium this is what I'm gonna do for right now and might be a little too fast it's not a pen yeah it's much bigger [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] oh there you guys are hey who sticker okay Deadwood casting attorney it's from Quitman Thank You Quentin I gotta send one out buddy so hopefully you get it in the day or two because I still got a few days before this is going up but anyways right there there is where I put your sticker I get this one out of pressure pop most likely so ya know when I did the first one the screwdriver people suggested I should dumb it red white and blue that's fine cure okay you know I didn't think about it when I did that it was just let's put resin and get it done so I did this one in red white and blue with my Amal casing so you know nine millimeters 22 magnums these are two to three those are nine millimeters and then a couple three right here on the top the red laying the blue ones are 45 you see peace so yeah I really a whole lot to tell about it it wasn't quite what I expected it was not as hard as the other one so the annealing process did help I still had to use carbide and as you can tell if you see this blue one right here it's bent that's because it the banging Bennett it got hot and kind of warmed up their resident moved it over so sharp carbide is probably a good idea not that I couldn't turn it with traditional tools I did do it on the carbide did help better so that being said you know give her a thumbs up or a thumbs down I really like it it's not perfect but I mean it's good in my car it's gonna be a Hey look at that where'd you get that you know everybody go over and check out check out Quintin over there at his channel I'll put all that in the description below and I probably already put it up there or I'll put it up there also I don't I can't turn the camera around like this so y'all got to walk with me here the camera won't let me turn it around Angry Birds oh you might be able to take you guys for right alright so we're gonna go in the forward that's 1929 model a two-door so we'll put you guys in here for right now you guys and look down that's what I'm looking at you guys are right over there say anything what are you looking at alright so there's a shifter enob that's ones factory scuse well you think how's it look I got a big yard drive all over it wife's point that throws a wrench into the plan here all right you guys head fell off do you see him see that the window all right on that note see y'all next week you picked up the phone buzz out you
