Frequently relationships disappear from space. But the love of a brother and sister never
diminishes. Today we take you deep into the French countryside
to feature an abandoned farmhouse that has remained entirely crystallized in time. Once a brother and a sister spent their lives
within this home. They were clearly involved in agriculture
and earned their life cost with it. Around 2014, both the brother and the daughter
departed this earth, and ever since that moment nothing has happened with the house, as no
inheritance existed anymore to acquire the property. As no interested buyers could be found during
the last couple of years, the building is slowly waiting for nature to become its new
successor. So, welcome back everyone on a brand new episode
and a new adventure in France! I'm currently standing at a huge abandoned
farmhouse that is located in the middle of the countryside. No single houses around this place. And it's a very special location, as it was
not found by myself this time, but actually, by 2 dearest viewers of us. Special thanks to "Jorg" and "Babs" for tipping
us with this location, and in case you know any places in your neighborhood but you just
don't dare to enter them... Always feel free to contact us through our
e-mail: explomo.urbex@gmail.com And who knows we'll maybe take a glimpse behind
this mysterious place one day! But anyway, this place has been abandoned
for around 11 years now and it was not owned by a couple, but by a brother and a sister. The brother's name was "Jean-Pierre". We haven't found out the sister's name yet,
but I think during this exploration, we'll eventually find out. And of course, I can understand that you are
very curious to see the inside, but what we first are going to do is actually, walk a
little bit around the place and show you the outbuildings that are very interesting too. So, let's start this exploration! Now, the part that we'll be focussing on in
this video is actually right in front of me and is this house, but the fun thing is, is
that there's also another house built right next to it. Unfortunately, this part of the premises is
well-sealed. You can tell, and we never force any of our
ways inside. So, unfortunately, this is locked. It is also completely furnished, a real time-capsule,
but I will not be able to show this to you. Now, what I can show you are the typical French
door entrances as well. You can definitely tell, that the glass has
been broken over the years. And we have a lot of buildings on these premises
to explore. Look over here: this was a very old well. Oh, it's going deep down! "Echo!" But yeah, it's so cute. As you can tell, we're in the middle of the
countryside. Haha, you can hear the livestock in the background! All the cows and everything. Let's just take a look in one of the sheds. Still, all the hay is there as well. Dang! That's a huge wooden barrel. Well, not much left behind over here. You can tell that they kept livestock here
because over there are still, some bowls where the animals would drink out. So, it's quite of a bummer that we can not
enter this part of the property, but there's another part that we can enter, though. That's this cute shed over here. As you can tell, it's a very cloudy early
evening right now. Let's see if this door is open... It looks open, but apparently, something is
blocking it. Well, it mostly looks like storage there. Let's walk around it. Maybe we can find different access somewhere! Everything is so overgrown here. Nearly all of these grounds are just neglected,
apart from that part over there. Those are still some grounds that are used
by a farmer. Oh! But this door is open, guys. Let's have a glimpse! Crazy. This place is abandoned for such a long time
already. Or at least, this shed is neglected for a
long time already. Wow, look at the old devices too. Used in their agricultural process. Even a very old cookie tin over there. Some mattresses and everything. The most random items have been stored here. What?! Guys! Have a look at this! Do you see the light? It's actually still plugged in here, I think
the electricity is still working. No freaking way! No freaking way... This freezer is even still working. It's entirely filled with food. And strangely enough, it's not even smelling
that bad. What the heck! Dang, it's full of mold. Oh! But the expiry date says something different,
however. 2010. So yeah, this place is indeed abandoned for
around 11 years. But this is disgusting, guys, a lot of ribs
and meat over here that are completely moldy. But it's so crazy that this freezer is still
working. Like, what the heck, it's clearly abandoned. The expiry dates are dating from 2010, so... Dang! It's the first time I encounter something
like that. And it's just the start of an incredible exploration
again. Well, I think this is quite dodgy to walk
on, but for my explorer's heart and grind, I'm going to try it. I think it's leading to an attic. Yeah... Dang, quite empty, though. I'm not going to walk on here because I think
it's very unstable. Wow, look at that! I think it's a very old baby bed. But furthermore, it's quite empty here. Let's go back down! Alright, so, there I am back outside. I'm wondering where these doors were used
for. They look quite fresh, to be honest. But the inside tells a different story. Maybe the local farmer is planning to use
these sheds again for his grounds. Alright, well, there's not much over here. As I told you, those are the grounds that
are still being used over here. There's an electricity wire. Right over there, the cows are, literally,
staring at me like: what the heck are you doing here! It's quite funny. I hope the farmer will not come to check because
maybe he's still, guarding the property, somehow. This must've been something else for their
farming business. I'm just quickly checking it out because I
want to have the main focus in this video on the old artifacts and the history that
is still so well-preserved inside the house. It's going to be amazing. A true time-treasure! Alright, well, the white part is the part
that we actually can't access, just for your information. And the brown part, which I also think is
the older part, is the part you're about to see next. The only thing I still, want to do is checking
out that shed over there because I have not checked it out yet, to be honest. I'm also curious. Dang! Lots of hay again. Still, it's stored here. Well, not much left behind over here. There's sort of a road over here. I want to check where it leads to. Alright, I think it's another shed. Not sure if I can open this one. Maybe just through the tiny doors, I've seen
around the corner. Woah! Guys, look at this! There's still a beautiful "Massey Fergusson"
tractor standing in the shed. Wow! Well, we know one thing for sure: they definitely
earned their life cost on farming. Oh! We can see the engine over here. Dang, that's so cool. Oh, wow! And look at the old pram over here. What a beautiful piece. Truly antique. It's just left to decompose. I absolutely adore it, wow! Also, a lot of woodstock over here. Probably used for all the fire stoves inside. Alright, so as always, I'll put on a mask. Always stay safe while exploring! And then, it's finally time to enter the house
itself after seeing all the sheds and the outbuildings. You're going to be surprised. Let you astonish yourself and, yeah, let's
immerse ourselves into the lives of the brother and sister that lived here! As you can see, and tell, the door has never
been locked. And that's also quite common over here in
this French area because not many people are living here and the crime rate is very low. I guess this was their short of kitchen part. And even the water is still running inside
of this place. Apart from the electricity, the water is also
still running. Unbelievable. Let's turn this off again before this complete
place will just flood. I absolutely love the huge inglenook fireplace
in this room. It's so traditional. We also have a wood-burning stove right in
front of it. And then, look at the building style of the
wall. It's very typical for this area of France. We've also been at the house of the viewers
that tipped this location to us, and they have a similar structure on the walls in their
house. And look over here, on top. We have a door. Oh, dang, that's a lot of dirt and spiderwebs
over there. An old pot where they probably used to cook
with because this was, indeed, their kitchen, as I told you. Look over there: we have the furnaces still
standing there. There's a lot of paperwork on the table where
I am not going to elaborate about. Those are a lot of receipts, envelopes, and
letters which are dedicated to them, but I don't want to reveal too much of the location
and encourage any theft or vandalism inside. We do have a pair of old glasses over here,
and some very rusty keys. A pocket flashlight. But the rest is mostly paperwork. And look in front of me: a huge wooden cabinet
and a very antique one. Wow! Oh my gosh! This one is also still, entirely stuffed. With still, a lot of wine as well. Wine bottles of 2006. Mostly some French red wine, some "Merlot"
wine as they call it here. Now, this is strange. There's a calendar of 2013. And by the way, those are all calendars from
different years. And as you can see: 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012,
2013. And that's where it stops. So, maybe I was slightly wrong and the house
is abandoned for a slightly shorter time than I thought. Look at the inside: they actually, stuck an
old sort of newspaper here dating from 1894. Insane. It's about old coins and bronze. Wow. We even still have some clothes hanging up
from the former brother and sister that lived here. Some devices stored in boxes. And you can tell the dusty black cobwebs between
all the items. This place is such a time treasure. We have a television that looks rather modern
but it's dating from a little bit before 2010. It's from the brand "Sony". One of the early plasma televisions. Well, over here are also a lot of letters
and that's also how I found out about the man's name, "Jean Pierre". It's full of books and paperwork. There's such a musty smell coming from these
drawers when I open them. Woah! Everything they used to make up the table. All the plates. I guess these people were tall because I can
not even reach this. And what's up there? You can see it, I can't... Oh! That hasn't been opened for a long time, I
guess. Well, and if they would make up the dishes
and prepare themselves for dinner, it would be at this table over here. What I do find strange, is the chair. It's actually a chair that is used by somebody
that games or something. Look over here: we also still have everything
standing. These tiny pots. Wow. Dang, this shaft is full of medicine and dirt. "Forlax" for the stomach. Well, again, some letters dedicated and written
to Mr. "Jean-Pierre". Look inside of here: all their old cutlery,
and some corks. They must've loved drinking wine, as many
people do in this area of France, and also France in general, but, yeah. Wow! It's crazy how everything is still in its
original position. And that for nearly a decade. Haha, there's even a pot standing in the corner
over there. And then, let's make our way to the next room. I guess the people must've died from elderliness
one day, the brother and sister couple. Dang, look at this! Wow! A beautiful antique wooden bed with unique
carvings. Also, a wonderful vanity and they've placed
a television on top of the desk. A loop glass over here. Alright, this was a book for the woman and
this was a book for the man. But what was this actually? "Caisse Nationale d'Epargne". Maybe a little book from the bank. It's filled with reports. There's so much old documentation still inside
of here. It's crazy how also things like this are also
still, pristine in their packaging. Look over here! A very old cellphone from "Nokia". And still, also the box over here. That's crazy! This was just once used by the former owners
to dial their friends and family. If I find the charger, I can probably also
just still charge it and start that phone. Wow! Plenty of old sewing material inside of here
and knitting material. Buttons and a lot of nick-nacks. Over here, we can see the name "Pierre" again. There are so many clothes. And look at the wonderful carvings on this
wooden bed. I absolutely love it. It's funny how they used this old bottle of
Scotch whisky just to hold the lampshade. Wow. Also, a beautiful cabinet, this one. Look: even still, their watches are inside. And even still some bullets over here, that
were probably used for hunting. Definitely rifle bullets. Absolutely insane. Over here are even still old francs. Wow, some other medicine over here that's
still left. Then, on this side, there's another tiny cabinet,
bedside table, with some magazines, and look at that! We have an old photo of two brothers, it seems,
with their sister I guess. On a horse. And it looks as if it was taken on a special
occasion. Maybe a wedding or something. I think so. Dang, that is squeaky! It's a very annoying sound, but I'm sorry
for it. But look over here: entirely filled with sheaths
and still, with clothes. It's absolutely incredible. Wow. Even still, a lot of purses and everything
here. Over here. Okay, I'm going to try to do it more carefully
now, but that's just impossible, haha. Connected to this bedroom there's another
bedroom, and this one is very dirty. I'm not even going to walk through it because
I will be crowded in spiderwebs. I will just show it to you from this side. Even still, some coats hanging here on the
doors. Well, out of curiosity I just want to open
this one. Wow! And
over there's another sort of zipper cabinet where they would store some additional clothes
in. I can also see a little frame hanging over
there behind it of Jesus Christ, so, they were definitely Roman Catholics too. An old bedpan over here for collecting their
droppings. And then, you've seen two bedrooms, but we
have another one. A third bedroom. Also, look at the variety of wallpaper. Typically French, I really love it. Dang! This wardrobe is entirely dilapidated. A lot of stuff is just dumped inside of this
room. Did you see the inside over here? Now that's strange to me, maybe this was an
old sewing table or something, I don't know. Wow! Look at that. That's a beautiful French mirror with ornate
details and the painting inside of it. That's beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous. I love it. Over here's even still some cards of them. We also have an old child's bed with plenty
of dolls on the ground here. "Brown biscuits" is written here. Wow, this is an old diary. The date here is 1984. These people definitely lived here in the
20th century. Maybe they were already born in the 19th century. An old purse over here, still, with receipts
inside. Some more purses. Dang! This is some very old documentation dating
from 1911. I guess this was definitely for their finances
and business. There are a lot of numbers. Alright, so, I've not checked it out yet,
but the freezer... No, it's not turned on anymore and it's also
completely empty. Oh! I think this was actually a trash can. They would put the trash bags inside of it. Over here, are also still, all the coats hanging
up. You could lift this up, and they stored some
additional clothes right underneath it. And then, you're about to see the most spectacular
part of this beautiful traditional home. Have a look at this, wow! This is so beautiful. Not only the ornate ceiling and all the wooden
antique furniture, but also, this beautiful art deco lamp in the middle. That's very valuable and rare to find. I love it! What a place. I'm really grateful that we have viewers like
you that also just inform us and tip us on these places. A beautiful French clock over here. A gorgeous cupboard. Let's see if I can open it... there it goes! Well, mostly, plenty of paperwork again. This one seems stuck. Also, look at the carvings on it. Always very unique. Wow. The plates, the trophy, everything is still
there. And look over here on the table. No way! This was the brother and sister that lived
here. They are standing right in front of the house! No freaking way! And then, look over here. That's the man sitting in the same door entrance
where I entered this property. And probably, this is in a local village somewhere. The family. Plenty of old photos over here. Wow! Priceless memories are just left behind and
unloved. Why oh why? I just spread them a little bit out to show
them to you. Because isn't it so special to just rummage
through all these old photos and learn about the history of the family that once resided
here? Wow. Okay, I will collect them all together now. It's crazy to imagine that these people once
lived here or were related with the brother and sister that lived right over here. Look over here: some very vintage cameras. A "Coronet" is the brand's name of this one. And another very old-fashioned "Scoutbox Lumiere". It is a camera? I actually really don't know. I would love to hear from the knowledgeable
people in the comment section. Also, about this device over here. It's getting quite dark now, so, let's try
to film as much as we can with the daylight we still have. Oh, oops, I was not intending to do that. Wow. Look at this! Asparagus and everything. Just still, canned vegetables. Crazy, also all the wines. Woah! There's so much canned food. Wow, and all the liquor over there as well. I will put this back where I found it and
where it was before I pushed it down (not on purpose). Dang, look at all the mold on this wooden
cupboard. Wow! It's still entirely filled with crystal and
other glasses. Look at this! Now, that's absolutely insane. Then, you know that you're in a real time-capsule. It's so well-preserved, it's just amazing. Unbelievable. Well, there used to be some very expensive
silver cutlery inside this, but most of it is gone. Now, the problem is most of the time, burglars
find out about the places before the urban explorers do. And also, over here we have a lot of china
work and porcelain. And then, lastly, let's show you this part
of the room. Look at the beautiful vintage doll. Also, a little statue, the feathers, and the
wonderful old books. The wallpaper is completely peeling off here. Wow! I think those were the cases for the retro
cameras I've found. At least, if they are cameras. And look on top: plenty of old books. Wow! It's absolutely crazy how all of these drawers
are just still, entirely filled. Look over here, this one's even filled with
bullets, but I can't open it up more than this. Full of bullets. I think they definitely were also involved
in hunting. "Jean-Pierre" is written again over here. Wow! What a cute tiny stove, and a very old one
as well. Just hidden under this cupboard. Oh! Well, let's leave this one for what it is. It's very stuck. It's so beautiful what's left behind here. At this point, it's getting really dark. So, lastly, I want to do one thing and that's
going to their attic. And as you can tell, the stairs are very crooked
and also near to collapse. So, I have to do this carefully, but I think
I should be okay. Wow, a lot of storage of pots and pans here
again. Even over here, some old copper pans hanging
up. What's behind this door? Dang! So many pots which were used for canning all
the food and the vegetables. Well, as you can tell, this was their attic
part. The floor's feeling very weak over here. Let's see what's inside of this chest. Oh, it's heavy! Dang. What's this over here? Wow. This is a very old frame of a family ancestor. Over here's even more. Look: it's something religious. Just completely broken. That's so sad. Wow. It's very heavy to keep this open, completely
alone. There are even apertures in the floor here,
so I think I will not walk further than this. But apart from that, it's mostly just wooden
chairs. Over there you can still see a bed sleigh. They used to put hot coals in a pan on that
sleigh and slide it right under the bed, so the bed would be nice and warm during winter
times. Very old-fashioned. Dang! The ceiling will probably collapse in a few
years. Look how many chairs there are and everything. Some old bottles of wine over here. There's even still, a jacket hanging up. This is another bottle that was used mostly
for the transport of wine. So many suitcases. And then, after having explored this truly
historical gem, I want to make my way back outside again. There I am. Let's close the main door in the hope that
no wrong-intentional people will ever enter this place. Okay, and then, it's
time to leave. And I really want to thank this family, or
actually this family... well, this brother and sister, that I was able to have a glimpse
inside their lives today. A very interesting and historic place that
I absolutely really enjoyed exploring! I really hope you enjoyed it too. It's time to leave now, it's slowly getting
dark outside. I'm entirely by myself, I'm just going to
walk to the house of the viewers that tipped this location to me. Because that house is actually very freaking
close. Uh, yeah, as you can see, in front of me,
there's, literally, nothing here. It's a very peaceful and calm area here. That's maybe also one of the reasons why not
many people are willing to buy houses here or move here. Another reason why many places become abandoned. The new generation wants to go to the city. And the older generation, that was actually
natively born here, slowly passes away. But yeah, I think that was it for this video,
and if you enjoyed it, then you know the drill: do not forget to smash that THUMBS UP button
and help us to the next level. Also, feel free to leave a COMMENT right down
below, and you can always SUBSCRIBE to our channel if you want to stay tuned for any

once again, and we'll see you on our next adventure! Peace-out!
