Searching for Permit, Snook and Tarpon with DeerMeatForDinner

I'm here this morning filming a collaboration with someone that has actually never done a YouTube collaboration before here he is Rob dear me for dinner what's up how's it going buddy good you ready to catch some fish they're bitin let's go let's go dude [Music] [Applause] [Music] we're here at our first spot and we're looking for permit the wreck right here we can already see bacon and push-up by birds and other fish so looks really officially we're going to put some live crabs out see what happens so Rob's put in the bait over now we've got a multi intimal it out now we're going to just put one flat line out right now basically first thing in the morning what we're doing is trying to get a feel for what's going on where are the fish what are they doing you don't want to just rush right into something I know we've got baked it and pushed up over here so if you go easy use the trolling motor and just look and listen and watch you'll really the fish will show you what's here and so right now we're just taking a look and ease into it try to hook a big permit 3040 pounder I like that dude can take the claws off some of us run off oh great crab on right there that lines all putting salt on the wound there he goes it was pretty cool to be sitting here like this fighting fish bait everywhere oh yeah giant turtles all over the surface it's a nice fish whatever it is that's a great thing about growing up here in South Florida and fishing South Florida we our options are unlimited they literally are big old giant boneheads okay probably run look at that guy fall sabic or also known in Florida as a Bonita I love these fish they make scream and run they always are feeding and there's so much fun to catch but also got a fish on yeah on Bonita it's just its tail is too big of a salt you need to cobia I could be a cub it could be a jack but I just don't it doesn't feel like a maybe we've got a Luther permit that aside as a munch on a sardine yeah I've never caught a permit on a sardine I know some people have I just have not you know a permit or part of the jack family oh yeah I was told that years ago and was like now they're not I was wrong gotta ministerial 4,000 super nice real men money you can't be that you yeah it's really really nice real nice and now this is what I always tell people when you buy nice gear and you have nice rods it makes the fishing experience so much better oh yeah because you it just it feels good in your hand if you're going to take the time and go fishing might as well have good gear this is not a bonito not a Bonita now this is not a Bonita you're heavy maybe jacobi idea or big Jack I don't know what it is I'm just telling you if it's a Bonita 2025 pounds I will be the most surprised human in the world yeah I'm favor just fit that up okay you're going in the boat just spit to starting up trying to eat it mmm Joey don't leave me I've never seen that this is crazy behavior I've seen it with Benitez and vanina's but not blue runners and Benitez here we go guys false albacore just pull hard man oh my gosh we left the wreck where we were pushing for permit and we headed on the beach we took the drone up in the air we started looking for tarpon we found a small pot of them we threw crabs and mold on them they weren't eating then we found two really cool manta rays I got some epic drone footage to check this out [Music] we're going to head back inland now and try some snook fishing the fishing out here is kind of slow I think we should've gone these tarpon a little earlier this morning but that's fishing guys you never really know when these fish are going to turn on you've got to have the right bait come out here and try to make it happen so we're gonna head to any line now and see if we get a big snook here we go boom big frickin herkimer's anything we go again here he comes oh happy just picking up the finger Danks look look at what kind of here we go here we go here we go we're fixing the dad right here just right there right here oh right right oh he makes me dude you move that Jessen 30 that's a thirty forty pound step right thirty-three here hold already there hold it hold it all those yeah here comes Oh jack of all versus snook baby they're not big fans of that got it sick feeding giant snook of dog is getting better than that we just ate some lunch at a restaurant right here we fed some snook and we're going to head out now get some sand perch for bait and we're split-pushing the inlet you ready did you need two minutes on the net that way I like how you open it that's a good throw right there I'm gonna give it it like I don't know no you guys are sitting my language right here dude okay [Music] listen he is yeah look at that sucker I take one of the best baits I catch I always release one really my whole life always throw one of the perfect ones back like that no no I just do it with all my conscience one day many years ago I caught all these bait and then the last one I was like you go back then over the years I just do it every single time yeah so it's just something about giving back we got our bait we got a bunch of sand perch really
