welcome back to part two where we're going to learn how to create a sales funnel for your bogus training company and ignore your lived customers when they're thousands of pounds in debt and also helps you absorb yourself of any responsibility if i didn't sell my training programs i'd be disturbing the world we have had a tiny fraction if she comes to me and says i want my money back and my multi-multi-multi-routine millionaire that is absolutely crazy i'm on my way to be a billionaire i got 1 221 undealt with emails right here and i went down for a voluntary interview at the police station why are you on him you tried you cannot sleep everywhere we don't care why the freak are you still a teacher before we even had time to respond before it was like time to respond on the platform on which to get people to trust you enough to entice them into the next level of your sales funnel and the next level of your sales funnel is getting them to congregate into a large room together and this is where samuel's crash course comes into play so samuel will offer a free event for you to come down and just learn about property for two days day one is 14 hours long and day two goes on from about nine am to five pm they're also sometimes on a weekday so people will book days off work and then pay extortionate amounts for hotel and travel just to attend so basic information about the strategies that we learned about in part one will be presented in the crash course but the main focus of the event will be pouring as many of these unsuspecting souls possible down into the next level of the sales funnel this includes a healthy amount of brainwashing i mean high energy speaking high fives introducing yourself to the person next to you dancing on stage getting people out of their comfort zones and it's definitely not a clever tactic to slowly convince people to be molded like play-doh into a walking atm so you can just squeeze money out of them at your beck and call samuel will turn up for the last couple of hours of these crash courses after other speakers have been on stage throughout the 14 hour day plants will be used allegedly as we spoke about in part one to run to the back of the room in order to convince the attendees to do the same with a false belief into the scarcity of the offer and that the price it's being advertised at is available for that day and that day only would you like to hear some glowing testimonials of the crash course from the property tribe's website that samuel was not able to censor then came thursday night where after is it okay if i just talk about the deal finding course a minute turned into an hour-long sales pitch culminating in the one day deal finding extravaganza course 3995 plus that the hmo tour two thousand pound plus that and the dfa manual one thousand pounds plus that all going for 1995 plus that for the first 14 people quick enough to sign up there was a guy almost crying today as he didn't have enough money for the three-day 1995 course he went on stage unannounced and said he only had 40 pounds to his name and would someone today help him with his voice breaking i hope samuel would have said they will sort him out but he did not simply said oh yes see this guy's passion please give him a clap and send him back to his seat i overheard a lady almost close to tears signing up for the course and just before the money was taken she said i just need a break this is my kids nursery money it's all i have but i have to do this for them the close friend of samuel then took the money need i say more he even encourages people to rush up on stage for 10 pounds to show they will grab opportunity when it's there all this so that when he offers the discounted course you will make the decision and jump on it the sales pitch was amazing by the way he actually got aggressive and made you think you were an idiot for not signing up great deal by the way he normally charges ten thousand pounds and knocked it down to two thousand pounds especially for you sure pal he opened it by referring to the hosting hotel as the worst place he had ever been in a screenshot of alan sugar saying invest with him yes like that would happen the next lie his business partner who opened the course with hand clapping like primary school said he sat where we were two years ago yet samuel said later that he met his business partner four years ago content minimal well explained by samuel who was more concerned about promoting his academy and outpriced courses so this business partner that this person is talking about in this review is probably alistair cunningham a man who is samuel leeds post a child for the skeptic that is now financially free this is my room i am in charge for the next three days as samuel says we're in the government we saw him in part one in the hood and look he's got an amazon bestseller too no he now has his own little mini sales funnel this is starting to look a little bit like a pyramid don't you think i have my theory that samuel recruited alistair to talk at these events because he's actually i've heard able to cry on demand when he's on stage telling his story he actually cries at the exact same moment every time he tells the story which is quite a masterful skill and probably something that samuel wishes he could do himself so samuel's two day crash course is basically a two day long advert for his dfe course and the 12 000 pound academy courses and by the way samuel's academy course will cost a lot more than 12 000 pounds if you don't pay all at once and you pay in installments so that's technically paying interest and as far as i can tell samuel lee's limited is not fca regulated which means that he shouldn't be allowing customers to pay in installments and charge interest on them at all these two girls i was sat next to they um they didn't actually really know what a mortgage was um they didn't really know a lot of things as a young person you don't get taught at school you don't get taught all of these things but they didn't know um like mortgages and all the simple basics and yet you've got um the trainer up on the stage he's there telling everybody that they need to quit their job and sign up to this course which to me blew my mind like and you will be fined ten pounds if you come back late from a break on the crash course um so they find you ten pound if you're late back to the room and if you refuse to pay the ten pound and you wait outside until the next break so you could be waiting like another three hours before they allow you back in or you just pay your ten pound fine so samuel's cronies will stand in attendance with these carb machines and people if they're late back from a break they will actually queue up to pay people to get back into the room and i've heard some stories from people saying that they tell people that this 10 pounds is actually going to charity so basically samuel charges people 10 pounds when they miss a bit of his two-day long advert which is insane can you imagine if you saw a mid-roll ad on youtube and if you press skip then you just got charged 10 pounds hang on how many of you clicked skip on one of my ads on my videos have you well if you have my patreon link is in the description it's mandatory don't worry all the proceeds are going to the mooncat mission to help people and make the world a better place i never use my own money to buy property i am comfortable getting uncomfortable nothing can stop me because i am unstoppable i am financially free so once people have been truly suckered in and they've been convinced by the alleged plants and they've ran to the back of the room to take advantage of today's amazing offer they'll be brought into a room with one of samuel's cronies in it and they'll be assessed to see if they're eligible for the course so the bbc back in january did an investigation on their program inside out where the journalists decided to fill out a form to apply for the academy and she was brought into a room with one of samuel's staff members she informed this staff member that she was a housewife an unemployed housewife with no savings or income so what do you think samuel's staff member's response to this was what was her assessment of the journalists position do we think day two and time for my selection interview i told the salesperson i was a housewife with no income but within two minutes of sitting down i'm asked how i'd like to pay in terms of payments it's ten thousand pounds for the 80 right and we can get you signed up today so how would you like to pay these are all i don't know that that's the thing i'm kind of struggling uh to know how is best to do that and what do you have to do it all at once or can you i would recommend doing it all at once just because if you do an installment you'll basically pay extra because you have a reduced price if you pay at all today um guys do you have that kind of and despite saying i can't afford the fees i'm again asked how i want to pay do you want to pay visa or mastercard i think i'll have to go in then i'll probably have to go and get my limit increase i think increase yeah i could probably give them a ring to do that thing yeah if you are out i'll wait here i'll put your details and if you put your name turning me well i can start doing processing that and you can call them before um upping the uh value on your card i'm also told prices will increase if i don't pay now the price is just gonna go up 100 100 because this isn't it's not like we have another course from this that we upgrade you to like we can be like oh then getting them onto this one this is everything and the thing about this course even though it's only like 10 000 it's worth like 60 000. like you make eight grand a month how quickly could i make that kind of money that's what i want to know if you honestly if you're like and you're serious about how serious on a scale of one attorney i think i'm about seven it's just it's just it's just pay paying that money it's just paying a lot for the training for the finance yeah okay what i would say is i know it's scary like you know like it is scary because when you're like putting down a lot of money but honestly even though that might seem like a lot more once you start deal sourcing once you start doing stuff like you could get that from one deal which just leaves me wondering is there any bar too low for samuel's course what kind of person could there possibly be that samuel's company would not accept onto this course is there any line that they won't cross do you want to pay visa or mastercard i would recommend doing it all at once just because if you do an installment you'll basically down today do you want to pay visa or mastercard now the people who have been successfully it down to the next level of your sales funnel we'll have paid around 2500 pounds to go on a course called the deal finders extravaganza and if these poor souls thought that they were going to get any further education out of this two and a half thousand pounds that they've spent then they were sorely mistaken it is just a rehash of the crash course but with the addition of worksheets this time on which you can fill in the blanks just like you're in primary school and then they're going to be subjected to even more hard selling this time just for the academy and this time it's going to cost you 12 000 pounds at least more dancing more chanting it is just brainwashing like just making people join in with activities for 14 hours all day is to the point where they literally have no choice other than to conform by the end of a 14-hour day you're much more likely to confirm to making a financial commitment it's it's the same as these annual conferences in mlms it brings you together like as if you're a family as if you're a cult and it makes you want to spend money to stay within that family put people in a room for 14 hours people singing and chanting and having other people looking at them weird if they don't join in and by the end of it they're just socially hypnotized our brains are just wired to crave acceptance from our peers it means that we're normal if you don't crave acceptance from your peers then you're probably a psychopath or a sociopath and you're more likely to be the person who starts one of these schemes and doesn't feel any remorse about it when they know for a fact that their actions are actually harming people put me in a room for 14 hours clapping and dancing and chanting and you could probably convince me to quit my job and sell arbonne physics on facebook for a living or get me to admit that cats are overrated or something but as soon as i've come out of the room and i've come to my senses i'm probably going to regret everything i said so would you like some further quotes of reviews from the dfe courses that samuel would have loved to have been able to censor okay i'm not gonna sell you the academy mr leeds says before adding that people who come to the crash course and don't go any further don't want to be successful he had repeatedly said from the start of the day one that the academy is never sold you have to be selected to join and yet here we were about to spend the rest of the afternoon being sold to about the academy but the most enticing story though is one from an amazing woman named diane granville and she wrote her whole story on the truth about samuel lee's facebook group so samuel lee's was a guest speaker at her local property networking event and he was dubbed the wonderboy of hmos he was popular on the property network circuit so during his presentation he gave away a copy of his book which included a complimentary ticket for two people for his free crash course so at the crash course she signed up for the deal finders extravaganza course and then because of her experience on the dfe course six weeks after she started to ask questions about samuel on online forums including property tribes i attended the cc in may 2017 and it's exactly as previous members have described samuel really gets the crowd going excessively long days especially the first day you're high-fiving turning to the person next to you telling them you deserve this you're special he talked about how even members of your own family will be jealous of you the haters like many others i went to the back of the room and i signed up for his dfe course on the 14th 15th 16th of september 2017 to be held in walsall as the course was only three days and i live over two and a half hours away i booked accommodation at the same hotel the course was being held we entered the room which is laid out theater style and on each seat is a copy of the manual it was 16 pages of fill in the blanks i kid you not one guy even said they're taking the mick aren't they we had the same high-fiving repeat of the crash course how great we made the decision to take this step into our property journey and to become financially free etc the morning was spent finding properties on rightmove to send alaway letters to the owners one of the attendees had to explain to him how to find the house number of a property on rightmove we looked at each other is this what we paid for people kept on saying this is the crash course repeated so far we've done exactly the same thing and when is the training going to start mid morning of the first day in groups we were told to find houses so we can contact the agents and focus on the oldest property listed we're all a bit excited okay early days give it a chance a member of staff wants to interview myself and another attendee about how the course is going and remember we're eager and we're keen i realize later that this is the ideal time samuel uses to get his reviews when you're all fired up myself and another attendee give a review of how we think the course is going and remember this is the morning of the first day uh okay would you recommend do you have to travel again absolutely without them without a shadow of a doubt um i think the thing with samuel not the other people out there everyone of course they teach you have learners you have training but samuel is 150 genuine he wants you to succeed he makes sure that when you leave you have sufficient to go out there and do what you need to do but you also have that support and you can come back and you know what you think talk to not just samuel but the rest of the team tanya elliott this review came back to halt me one of the attendees asked russell for his money back the morning of the first day we were told if we were unhappy with the training to let them know before lunchtime the first day and we would get our money back never happened russell refused point blank so diane goes on to say that no lunch was offered that day so they had to walk to the nearest place that they could find which was a kfc there was no difference from the crash course any time you asked samuel a question his response was he'll get back to you the third day we're all tired and over half of the day was spent on selling the academy samuel kept on repeating to succeed you must invest in yourself twelve thousand pounds was not much money in the grand scheme of things his academy training was the best he'd helped over 100 people become successful in that year alone 2017 and they'd replace their income and we're now financially free in the morning we had the raising finance exercise how much money can we access to starters on our property journey remortgage your house remortgage your rental property use your credit card get a loan from your family bank loan our group raised 15 million pounds we were well on our way more hard sell invest in yourself being on the academy training is where you can source deals to sell using samuel's vast network of investors he wasn't getting many take up so he talked about how we were like chickens driving from home in his range rover he saw a line of chickens ahead waiting in line to the other side of the driveway how they were picking at the ground just following each other that was us we didn't know the way forward he showed us his training programs with on the day pricing when the group saw the pricing you could hear a pin drop in the room the guy next to me said what does he think he's doing samuel kept on repeating that the academy was an exclusive training program and you have to be accepted into the program and not everyone is suitable as we've completed the forms to find out what we wanted to achieve your plans etc they would consider whether you're suitable to join your name was called and you entered another room two people were there card reader on the desk i was subjected to 20 minutes of intense sales remortgage my house use my credit card take out a bank loan to get on the course i'll make my money back in a couple of months by selling leads to samuel following the course i wrote to samuel stating why i wanted my money back what he described promoted and promised at the crash course was not delivered he misrepresented the content of the dfe it was to get us to sign up for the academy i wrote several letters asking for my money back no response i was told over 99 of students were happy and they would recommend the training to family and friends kept on being stalled no response to my emails told that my complaint is being dealt with i wrote several letters to samuel which he ignored i had enough and submitted an online claim on 15th of november 2017. so diane then submitted a claim for 3 100 pounds for the course plus the costs of travel and the hotel samuel of course disputed the claim stating my training is very thorough as hundreds of past students would testify and i take great pride in my work all my courses come with a 14 day cooling off period which diane was given he then went on to state that he asks every delegate for feedback untrue no feedback as i mentioned in part one samuel asks for reviews at the start of his training not at the end as people would know the truth so samuel refused mediation with diane twice and then for six months did not attempt to contact diane until the night before when he sent her an email asking her to talk so he spent hours that night emailing back and forth with diane and beating her claim down to only 2 pounds samuel then said that he would pay her this amount as long as she agreed to sign an nda and she would also have to agree to remove all of her comments about samuel's course on the property drives website and anywhere else online so she signed it and then they both attended court the next day samuel addressed the court describing himself as a multi-millionaire best-selling author his defense was 12 reviews that he'd had from other customers including one previous business associate and diane's video testimonial that she gave him at the start of her course diane on the other hand provided 12 pages of evidence that she had slaved over from her own research to show up samuel as a liar and explained that the reasons that she wanted a refund were because samuel misrepresented the content of the course and it was only a duplicate of the crash course material diane was eventually told by the judge that she would either have to settle outside of court with samuel or resubmit the claim because she actually claimed against samuel personally instead of the company in error so diane said that she'd resubmit her claim even though she was aware that she'd have to pay court fees again and at that point samuel jumped up and shouted i'll defend my claim then the judge looked at him and said mr leeds please be quiet and then he said we could go so at that point samuel decided to speak to diane outside of the courtroom and they went into a room to have a chat with each other so according to diane samuel said to her i prayed for you this morning diane and he then kept on asking diane to confirm that she would remove her comments online she said yes yes she would and the conversation went on for 35 minutes when they left the room samuel opened up his arms to diane for an embrace she shook his hand just to be polite and then samuel's response to that was oh you're going to be like that then what samuel said to me during those 35 minutes confirmed that his ego his arrogance his love of money knows no bounds and he doesn't care one iota about people on the way home i contacted some of the online forums asking them to suspend my comments around 2 30 pm samuel called to ask have you taken down the comments i said yes i did can you transfer the money to my bank account and confirm he did transfer the money and made sure he sent a copy of the transaction showing that he had a balance of 75 052 and 67 pence on his account that samuel for you so reviews like diane's the one that was used against her can be seen on the samuel leeds reviews youtube channel so this is a channel dedicated to video testimonials from customers which she seems to keep as a sort of threat to the people in them in my opinion because they're sat there as a library of evidence against the people in them should they ever try to get a refund from him and take him to court diane granville's review is still on there and it's not just these videos that samuel uses evidence against people it's also the winners on a wednesday interviews as well i've seen him defend himself by using these videos against the people who are actually in the video if they come out saying anything against him online i've seen him link the video of the interview of that person right underneath and saying well you gave me this interview and you seemed very happy in this video so why are you lying about me as if that's somehow sufficient proof that the person was lying and it's impossible for them to have changed their mind since [Music] so a certain amount of people will have fallen down through to the next level of the sales funnel the academy these are people who perhaps thought that they didn't get enough information from the crash course but they've now been burdened with just enough of a sunk cost fallacy to believe that they've already spent enough now so they might as well spend more so they'll go on to spend at least 12 000 pounds to join the academy so once you've signed up to the academy you'll get invited to join a facebook group where one of the rules is as follows this is not the place to grumble whine or complain if you have a complaint about another partner speak to them direct if you have a complaint about samuel's team or an aspect of the partnership in general email samuel direct we simply do not tolerate public grumbling because it robs the energy and positivity of everybody else now this is going to seem a bit random but i'm going to introduce you to a scooter youtuber now called claudius vessetti [Music] so this guy how old are you claudius i'm 22 years old and i just met antonio in london at the crash course um it's like a property crash course where i learned about investing i'm from germany i've been living in the uk for like the past four years i'm a youtuber i have over a million subscribers i do like scooter tricks so like on those small scooters i do crazy tricks and flips and make youtube videos pretty much almost every day yeah and now now i'm gonna start on property youtube like might not last long like you know what i mean but property is gonna be there for 10 years to 50. due to claudius's following samuel was clearly excited to have claudius on board even if claudius's followers were all nine-year-old boys samuel did his classic routine of overestimating knowingly or not what claudius would be able to achieve in property of over a short amount of time during the only one-to-one session with an academy member that i've ever seen samuel do now this guy has been on the crash course i think five times in the last six months so clearly likes the crash course how you doing man good to see you bro keep him well yeah man let me see your van here we go white oh dude i love that i'm gonna wear that right now man do you want to see a scooter trick oh my [Music] goodness [Music] what do you think i love it man it's awesome we can maybe walk up to the center of litchfield get a nice lunch talk business property this guy has been to the crash course what four or five times four times in the last what six months yeah pretty much every crash course that we have and we he always sits on the very very front row so uh i got five copies of all your books i love that man i want to be a billionaire that's where i'm going i think you will definitely get there way before grant like he didn't even stop property until like 30. he's a lot closer than i am now though he's uh he's i don't know how much i'm worth i'm probably worth about 15 20 million yeah inequity in equity yeah yeah probably just another number that he's just plucked out of the air yeah like prop yeah yeah he's worth about 300 yeah but he's older than i am yeah wh pretty much every time i've ever got a mentor i've always succeeded them within it within a year or two and now he's mentoring me so who knows yeah but in the past i've always overtook my mentors and i have to find a new mentor did you overtake lord sugar then samuel yeah i'll just be looking at big stuff big stuff yeah so for the first 12 months what do you think should i do what are the main tasks i need to do like from morning to night do you think it's got a youtube channel uh-huh shoot a video okay use some of this footage if you want okay and just tell everyone what you're doing go to ride move make calls no tell everyone what you're doing yeah i'll be the first thing i'll be like checking on my youtube channel i'm doing a video this is what i'm doing what do you think my very first step should be i thought i'd probably employ another video before so so they should be with with me like 24 7 20 ah there you go unless you're pissing or sleeping they're filming at my funeral i want there to be thousands of people there saying look how many lives were changed samuel i think that's more likely to be an angry mob energized by all of this claudius went into his property journey all guns blazing welcome to a new episode of property investing with claudius fertility now this is half down to claudius being only 22 and quite naive and half down to samuel's absent training which most likely consisted only of the advice in this video which he uploaded to his youtube channel and then most likely whatever he picked up from the crash courses but claudius realized straight away that there were complications and issues when he tried to implement the strategies that sammy will taught him couldn't confidently say that we can get a mortgage in the next year or in the next or 12 months until the credit file sorted so the very first video he uploads claudius realizes he's not eligible for a mortgage because he's got an unpaid gas bill on his credit file he's also still young and lacks lettings experience as well basically next year i should be able to get kendra lyons and a lot more basically right yeah yes i mean on the surface here on the surface okay of course i think there's there's so much to consider i don't i can't stress to claudius that the complexities involved here it's on the surface yes in this next video claudius tries to book viewings like a bull in a china shop asking to view anything and everything where we could view a lot of properties um in basically one day you'll have to have a look though and know which properties you're gonna be wanting to view okay i'm potentially interested in in any property any property yes anything between 100 000 yes correct okay very nice what do you call this wallpaper wallpaper smell good at all this is definitely a definition of a smiley house no literally i'm smelling something else i mean the tiles elliot this might be something these are pranks one night no playing sorry maybe paint over this as well yeah in the next episode claudius tries to get an loa deal with some motivated sellers and fails he speaks to some pensioners wanting to sell a house and buy a bungalow he offers to pay them in a few years and they refuse so claudius questioned samuel on his advice after testing it in real life situation so a property trainer or mentor might then say for instance well here's where you're going wrong claudius or try this next time at the very least so what did samuel do he just stopped speaking to claudius and took the video down from his youtube channel claudius then went on to leave some comments on the facebook group samuel tries to remove all negative evidences from him the fact that he took the video private right after i questioned his advice on a whatsapp message is proof that he admits his nonsense and tries to cover it up his academy is not delivering what is being advertised claimed and sold i actually didn't think samuel would not stand up for this but he physically cannot admit to it because that would damage the built-up self-image that he needs to be preserved to sell more courses to new clueless people now claudius is young and i think he gravitated towards samuel because he's high energy and exciting just like himself he was reeled in by the dreams that samuel was promising claudius was naive but he realized what was going on pretty quickly and he's got this niche on youtube which is doing really well out of but perhaps those skills aren't necessarily easily applied to property investing to be honest i do really like claudius when i was watching his videos i couldn't i just couldn't help but like laugh and smile if you go and check out his property investing channel he's got some vlogs where he's like kitting out his new rental flat with some gear from ikea oh we also got some horses unfortunately they are not included in the rent and i could honestly just watch claudius go around just doing day-to-day menial tasks for hours on end oh yeah we gotta buy one which one though this one is 10 pounds this one is 50 pounds what is the difference so in this video he's looking for plants for his new apartment at ikea and the staff member advises him to get a cactus because they retain water so they're really easy and low maintenance to look after well with a cactus it's the easiest plant to look after but then the next shot shows him walking away with an artificial tree we bought it planned it's going to grow money on it so that's going to be a good return on investment claudius tell teresa about that now there isn't a magic money tree i got the comfiest best bed sheet ever smooth silky the softest ever i also just don't know if i could ever envision claudius as a serious property investor hello this is property investing with at a foreign bed uh potentially hmo uh maybe we could turn one of the reception rooms into a hot pipe i was thinking oh claudius we're not gonna turn into a bedroom a bedroom yes so that we can uh get more more rent for turning into a bedroom for more rent and then turn on investment so come with me and take a look [Music] okay so uh he is bedroom one and he's digital two there is potential maybe a pool in the backyard and then maybe i'm sticking out of here we could put a slide out to the pool and then we could do some epic tricks like go down the slide and then and then land and do a somersault and then go into the pool [Music] oh actually claudius we got some business professionals looking at this house and i don't think they appreciate a slide i think he's got the toilet and uh what's this called again shire yes it's got a shower so i'm here we've got a nice bed she's very soft she's very versatile so now we got some of these where come with the house there's another one here to be very good [Music] i got one of these as well what is this it's a cat i think they're the previous owners so they wouldn't actually come with a house yeah oh all right okay so bbc dragon shack resort exposed samuel on his youtube channel earlier this year as we learned about in part one so of course samuel had to respond and samuel's response to constructive criticism is always denial and resistance so shaq pointed out samuel's company accounts which i mentioned previously in part one and he also called out samuel's strategies warning people as to the exact reasons why they don't work in the real world and chef also sourced the video from lord sugar so samuel then got into a bit of an online spat with chef and just went for everything that he possibly could i'm gonna respond to chef rassel who's been doing videos about me all over the internet so samuel tried to defend himself against chef's findings by showing his own credit rating his personal credit rating on his channel and showing that it was excellent let me say something for the record not only am i wealthy not only do i have a lot of properties but also i got very good credit just today i've been offered 845 000 pounds top end of excellent top end of excellent out of 999 i got 989 which is no surprise whatsoever but it's completely separate to his company's credit rating there's probably a large part of his audience that don't realize that there's actually a difference between a company credit rating and a personal credit rating a big difference but samuel is just going to use that naivety to his advantage like he does in many parts of his teachings so then in another video shaq went on to interview jason and janine from german solicitors talking about the class action that they have against samuel with over 70 members in it and what was samuel's response to this video by the way this big class action that shattered me doing videos about it doesn't exist there's no class action against me i've had zero correspondence my solicitors had zero correspondence it's all talk i've never lost in court and i don't owe anybody any money and my solicitors have confirmed that but it's just complete nonsense the class action doesn't exist it's just it just doesn't exist so earlier this year samuel was featured on primetime tv on a program called joe license got your back joe apprehended samuel at one of his crash courses while surrounded by all of his attendees and jokingly attempted to give samuel some basic facts to his face and then attempted to hand him some hefty invoices for his services samuel originally thought that jon isaac was a fan of course but once he realized he was taking the piss he ran off and locked himself in a room oh sammy i actually have a message from one of your mentors arnie because i'm a stud i'm bossy i don't take no [ __ ] from anyone i don't have to find a hideout place like you i've got hundreds of students that have become financially free should every private school be closed down should every university be closed down because everything's available online for free it is ridiculous it's weak so this is how samuel just finds an angle on an argument your courses do not provide a qualification samuel and you can't pay for them with a student loan which is a huge difference between your courses and a university course every company that has lots of customers has bad reviews i myself have bad reviews not this many bad reviews samuel and an entire group of 3.8 000 people who are all pissed off at you he then includes a testimonial from james armstrong his future brother-in-law then he includes some more reviews from people who have actually done his training and yes he uses the winners on a wednesday playlist again like he does every time then he refers to those mysterious pie charts by the mysterious pie chart company and then he claims that channel 4 audience are brainwashed your audience might watch you like this and just believe everything that the tv says and sit like a sheep my audience is smart and they don't do that so stop spreading lies i actually offered to meet up with vanessa warwick from property tribes that she was getting emails saying that she was a scammer she was getting emails she was getting messages people creating forums about her shortly after that i was contacted by the police i don't know why the police are contacting me i said i'm happy to help i'll give you any information i've got and i went down for a voluntary interview at the police station now i'm going to introduce you to a woman called vanessa warwick she and her husband nick co-founded the website which i have been referencing throughout this video property tribes both vanessa and nick are landlords and they have been for 17 years so they have a wealth of genuine experience and knowledge behind them so vanessa is a commentator on the national residential landlords association and she's also been recently quoted in the times the sunday times the guardian the telegraph and the estate's gazette so her credentials are pretty impressive so vanessa along with 60 000 other members posts on the property tribes forum sharing advice for landlords property tribes is a free to use site which is transparently monetized by an advertising and sponsorship model i spoke to vanessa on the phone when recording this video and she explained to me the whole story regarding her and samuel and the story is pretty astounding to say the least let me start from the beginning back in the 90s vanessa had a bit of a name for herself she used to present mtv's head bangers ball she's interviewed the likes of slayer mega death and motorhead's lemmy hi there it's great to be back and to welcome you all to my first headbangers ball of 97. now she's a successful intelligent level-headed landlord and businesswoman and also a respected property commentator but still dyes her hair pink sometimes she's pretty much the kind of strong badass woman that i'd like to be at her age so back in 2017 diane granville started a thread on property tribes about samuel leeds vanessa then included some due diligence insights from such public websites such as company's house and you deal all factual and substantiated reporting in no time the thread was inundated with stories from landlords saying they'd bought property deals through samuel's sourcing companies only to find there were a myriad of problems with every deal and no due diligence on the property had been done but when they complained they found out that they couldn't get their money back some people on the thread are saying that samuel's emailing them personally and bullying them to take their comments down samuel got some of his cronies including crimea river alistair to write responses on the thread for him alleging that the people complaining were lazy and just didn't want to do the work but he doesn't disclose that they're actually business partners on companies has in a company called better sourced limited all the commentary on the website was substantiated and evidenced and therefore it was not defamatory the threat got longer and longer as more dissatisfied mentees came forward and more and more concerned citizens expressed their views on samuel it started to rank very high on google searches and eventually higher than samuel's own content well needless to say samuel was not best pleased that these threads existed on property tribes and their high rank on the google search results but rather than use the property tribe's complaints procedure or formal legal action samuel puts his thinking cap on to come up with a more creative way of getting the threads about him deleted so in may 2019 the thread was disrupted by a man called mark stevens who was extremely hostile to vanessa in particular and made many false claims about property tribes and how it was treating samuel unfairly samuel elise then went to post on facebook the following property tribes vanessa warwick have been criticizing me on their forum for the past two years with mostly anonymous accounts removing or ridiculing anybody who goes on to give balance generally i take the view that my success students results speak for themselves and actions speak louder than words however i would be happy to respond to all negative comments in a live debate with vanessa warwick as someone has suggested on her platform i am grateful to all the people who have recently taken the time to defend my training and character i have however been made aware of a gumtree phone prank on vanessa which i cannot condone i would urge people to put over their views on this but to be respectful and mature in their approach keep speaking truth and sharing positivity samuel so what's this gumtree phone prank on vanessa that he's speaking of well in may last year vanessa and nick received an email from mark stevens who had been subsequently banned from the site for breach of terms and conditions yesterday afternoon i received what amounts to a blackmail threat from an individual who appears to be within the samuel leeds inner circle this individual claims to have the ear of samuel leeds this insidious and unfounded attack took the shape of an out and out lie that we myself and vanessa have personally started threads against samuel leeds and that if we did not take all threats down that he would spread lies around the web on top of all that it was stated that we had to interview mr leeds or delete the threat or else okay so i'm going to give you a series of choices and i suggest you to as well your group is spreading falsehood misinformation and lies and you know it i'm going to spread truth about what you're doing and it will be relentless indefinite and have consequences right now you won't even dream about and include everyone you work with you can stop this happening by making a choice to either remove the entire thread of misinformation and make an apology for any misinformation it may have contained or if you really believe your own claims then have a live discussion with some if you choose to do neither of these things then i have a message the opportunity to defend yourself on what will become a high ranking forum all about her as i have the means to draw a lot of traffic to it and the other places i will be speaking right now they're remembered so no one has seen me openly this was brought to the attention of mr lee's last night but despite being sent copies of the blackmail emails he confirmed that he was happy to allow the threats in blackmail to continue on his facebook group i also offered to go through the thread with mr lee's in person and deal with his concerns but he refused my offer he intimated that if we were to delete the thread he could stop the activity against property tribes while mr leeds might claim that he cannot control his fans he can control content on his facebook group vanessa's personal telephone number was given out via an online advert offering services as a sex worker subsequently resulting in harassment and abuse the stress caused by this abuse has led vanessa to seek medical help such other malicious events of the last few hours so this harassment went on for two months with some kind of malicious activity being undertaken against vanessa every day causing her a great deal of anxiety along with the advert placed for vanessa as a sex worker on gumtree with her name and her number this also included four harassment websites set up using vanessa's name in the url and featuring fully populated forums of fake accounts discussing her and making vile claims about her a trustpilot account set up in her personal name which is actually against the terms and conditions of just pilot where her address was given as a brothel in western superman vanessa's husband then received a blackmail threat saying if you did not delete the threads about samuel leads on property tribes vanessa's just pilot page would start getting reviews for vanessa as a prostitute and that a lot of her customers would be asking for a refund a second country advert with a picture of vanessa's house name and phone number saying that she was giving away all of her worldly goods for free and that people can call any time of the day or night and collect her belonging this resulted in phone call abuse and people turning up at vanessa's house at all hours claims were made that vanessa's house had been visited to assess her house and her car also showing pictures of her home and her home address saying that her house was shitty and that she was jealous of samuel the strange thing is that vanessa lives in a 675 000 pound house in surrey and it can hardly be described as shitty property tribe sponsors were also contacted and won that if they did not stop sponsoring property tribes they would receive a swarm of negative reviews a police investigation was ongoing for many months trying to find the perpetrator of this ongoing criminal harassment so in january 2020 this year surrey police contacted vanessa to say that the cyber crime lab had been able to trace the digital trail to a residential address and that a suspect was being invited to the police station to be interviewed under caution at this point the police did not tell vanessa and nick who it was and they had absolutely no idea who it was it was only after the interview under caution that the police revealed to them that it was drum roll sammy warleads however at the time vanessa and nick decided not to say anything as they did not have any actual proof that the interview under caution had taken place and the police also advised them to refrain commenting on it due to the sensitive nature of the investigation and the fact that vanessa would have the opportunity to launch civil proceedings against samuel following the conclusion of the police investigation so up until july 2020 only vanessa nick and samuel knew that samuel had been identified as the perpetrator of the malicious activity against her so going back to samuel's version of the story samuel tries to spin the narrative that vanessa used the police to bully him when in reality vanessa reported malicious activity not samuel to the police and the police said we want to talk to you because vanessa is saying that she's being harassed and she's getting hassled following an investigation and gathering of evidence the digital trail led to samuel's home address and he was invited for an interview under caution and i went down for a voluntary interview at the police station trying to make me look like a criminal i'm not the person that's been harassing her it's good that samuel will admit to it even if he did try to get his version of the story in first but all of this just sets the record straight on the lengths and nastiness he went to to get threads deleted from property tribes [Music] in october 2019 a facebook group was founded called the truth about samuel leeds and those that use similar methods it was set up as a support group for those that had been unhappy with the courses and the academy and for people who were pursuing refunds diane granville has been an absolute saint to some members of this group selflessly advising people exactly how to go about requesting a refund having learnt from her own successes and mistakes from dealing with samuel previously suffice to say samuel was also not happy with the existence of this group he instructed some high-class lawyers mishkan de rea to write a letter to the admins of the group threatening them that they need to take the group down the admins of the group read the letter together realised that it had no legal standing yet would have probably cost samuel about 3 000 pounds to get his lawyers to write and left the group up so as of today the group has 3 800 members in it so i asked the members of this group to help me investigate the financial freedom challenges on his channel as i basically knew they were staged or exaggerated completely so i asked her some help to see if there was a way that i could prove it and this is when i started to realize how powerful samuel's silverton truly is so we decided to get into contact with elena the estate agent from the first challenge in sheffield she seemed available for comment initially even willing to take part in the video to confirm what i had suspected the estate agents will not allow you to sign up for two flats with no proof of income or credit score and we also found a landlord that samuel had agreed to do an loa with in london for his london financial freedom challenge and this landlord was originally quite happy to provide a statement for us confirming our suspicions because weirdly samuel never provided a follow-up video for that challenge like he had done with the sheffield one so we were wondering what happened with that deal in the end so the landlord left us a statement that he was willing to let us use then the next day he retracted it he also said that if we ever tried to contact him again then he'd be contacting the police for harassment that very same day we noticed samuel uploaded on his channel an interview with that very landlord samuel again steamrolls the conversation to make it seem that the the challenge was not a fail elena also went quiet all of a sudden on july the 17th samuel called everyone in the facebook group that he had the phone number of he called paul waters and a one hour 25 minute conversation ensued paul told the group that samuel asked him the same questions over and over again as if he was trying to get him to give a different answer samuel also called vanessa who immediately hung up on him for legal reasons i rang up vanessa warwick yesterday and what did she say as soon as she heard my voice she's like hello i'm like hey vanessa samuel leads love to have her have a little chat i don't want to talk to you puts the phone down then she messages me immediately afterwards and says if you call me again i'm going to report you to the police for harassment i'm just like i mean that's that's the first time i've ever called her it became pretty clear that he was trying to get evidence for a video that he was planning on making about members of the group posts then suddenly appeared on the group which seemed out of the ordinary a new member of the group made a public post saying i've just had my refund from samuel he is a changed man and then they went on to leave numerous comments about samuel not having time to respond to the refund requests because he was too busy in uganda helping starving children members were pretty dumbfounded at this and didn't really know what to think they all knew this was just a lie because he'd been calling members of the group that very same day and it wasn't an international phone call this new member of the group then posted pictures of samuel and his brother russell clearly is a bait for people to take the piss out of their looks so admins quickly realized that this was an attempt to rile up the emotions in the group and to try and get people to say bad things about them and they quickly removed that post as well then on the next day samuel uploaded a video to his own channel showing one of the admins of the group at a crash course it was clearly just another passive-aggressive tactic to scare the group into silence then july 10th comes around and another new member in the group posts a sort of paparazzi style photo of samuel walking down the street with his family again admins of the group realized that this was another attempt to draw people in and say threatening things about him and his family and then the post was swiftly removed then july 23rd came around and samuel responded to the admin members of the group in an hour-long diatribe uploaded to his youtube channel and at this point i thought he seems to be getting really desperate he spoke about vanessa again and diane saying that her case got thrown out of court so her costs her transport petrol hotels she wanted back and thought that we owed her and i i said to her i said to him before we went to court i said do not owe that money you're not gonna win this you want to a bit of a losing battle judge to be honest was looking very like what's the problem and i was thinking i don't think this is gonna end well for diane and her case was thrown out um i saw her in the hallway in the corridor and you know she looked really sad she looked like she'd been crying and i felt for her i had like a sense of compassion i just thought why is she so upset and i actually approached diane after her case had been thrown out but just after same day and i said look what's the issue and we sat down and we spoke and she said oh you didn't feed me at the event and the chairs weren't comfy literally and i said okay look we're going to get better chairs maybe we should start feeding people what can i do now for you then what can i oh and insinuated that her only complaint was that she didn't get any lunch he paraphrased the call that he had with another admin at the group andrew burgess to try and make him seem like he was terrified of speaking with him andrew burgess i phoned up andrew burgess i said to him andrew look i just want to chat to you and see what the grievance is i want i really want to understand i don't know i don't want to he has nothing to say and then in the end he can't speak he can't give one reason as to why he's been doing it no reason when in fact through researching this video i've spoken with andrew on the phone a few times now and i know pretty damn well that he wouldn't have said anything like that all he would have done is say i don't want to speak to you because he knew that samuel would just twist his words to fit his own agenda samuel will never admit any wrongdoing only that his company was growing too fast so at times he found it hard to keep up however this is untrue as in 2017 a number of academy members known as partners started legal action against samuel for misdelivery of service and misrepresentation of his academy training he was not delivering many of the promises that he made including the one-to-one training that many had signed up for for instance shortly after paying 12 000 pounds some members were left high and dry after samuel left for paternity leave for four months when the bbc did an investigation on him and exposed the inside workings of his company his take on it was that the bbc had an agenda and that they want to keep people trying to create bad news stories but there is a reason that the bbc want to get a particular message across to you and want to put you off and you're scared of becoming financially literate the rich are getting richer the poor are getting poorer and there's a reason that we don't teach kids about money in school and there's a reason that anybody that starts teaching about wealth gets shut down i've heard some people call them now the british brainwashing channel and i used to think that's offensive and that's not fair how can you say that about the bbc to be honest bbc i'm beginning to lose faith in you right now he also said that the bbc did not bother to find out about any of samuel's happy customers he must have done but i found it really strange because i always grew up thinking the bbc were fair we're neutral and i thought they would always put both sides across and i just thought they never spoke to me beforehand they out of all of my thousands and thousands of students they chose two unhappy students in reality though as per the bbc's editorial guidelines that you can find online samuel will have been sent a right of reply this means that samuel would have been sent before broadcast an entire transcript of the program and invited to do an interview with the journalist so what did sammy do none of this he either ignored it or perhaps he missed the email as there's absolutely no response from him included in the programme i got 1221 undealt with emails right here [Music] in january 2019 danny butcher first inquired to samuel about attending a crash course with his brother-in-law glynn he said he wanted to get into property to provide a future for his wife and his son he struggled with mental health and had ongoing battles every day and suffered from ptsd he didn't expect his property journey to be easy he expected to do all of the hard work himself and all he wanted all he paid for was the hand-holding that samuel and his team promised to him if he paid for the academy he had already found five property deals himself and all he needed to do was put them through a compliant property sourcing company which is a service that samuel says he provides as part of his academy training in danny's words he said not only do you get to join the academy and train personally with myself and my team you get the never use your own money again the dfe the brr deal sourcing and loa course and you'll get access to legal contracts and a one-to-one coaching and one-to-one mentor it was at that point as soon as he said one-to-one mentoring that i thought i have to find the money this is exactly what i need the rest i could learn and do on my own but a mentor who can point me in the right directions and can point out what i'm doing or saying is wrong or correct is exactly what i needed already being in nearly 20 000 pounds worth of debt due to an ex-wife who took out loans in my name i never thought the bank would give me six thousand pounds but within seconds there it was i went up to a member of the team and i asked if it was too late to join the academy they said no and handed me a form to fill in and i told them about my deals i had found and that i really needed to move fast as i couldn't afford to pay the rest of the money for the academy they smiled and laughed and said that i could put them through alistair's company and make the rest of the money in no time great i signed and made a part payment just to add at no point was i interviewed after joining the academy i phoned up to find out what's happening next and when we get started i was told that i could attend my launch pad in april i told him it needed to be sooner so it was brought forward to the back end of march on danny's launchpad he was informed that he would be invited to join an exclusive facebook group with other academy members and a whatsapp group with other members of his launchpad so dany was subsequently added to a whatsapp group with no other members of his launchpad so he assumed that a mistake had been made he called the academy and no one answered he messaged a member of samuel's team and eventually he was added to another whatsapp group again and again there was no other members of his launchpad in the group so danny says he was passed from pillar to post when he complained and also got added to another whatsapp group which also had no other members of his launchpad on it again danny also sent multiple emails to the academy begging to be added to the academy facebook group as he had been promised eventually he got an invite weeks later so the deals that danny had already found and had been promised that he could put through alistar's sourcing company he was told that he actually couldn't do until he'd done alistar's course which was on the 31st of july and we were still in april at this point so at that point danny realized that he was going to have to find the two other installments of 4 330 pounds to pay for the academy without having sold any deals yet the bank gave him another loan to pay for the next installment he believed that he would be able to make a deal through the deal finders extravaganza course in order to pay for the third installment of the course the third installment also being 4330 pounds so dunny attends the dfe course and he finds that it's packed with hundreds and hundreds of people danny said he wondered how with sophie's staff the team were going to be able to ensure everyone was understanding the more complex information that was going to be taught at the course but he soon realized that it was actually just a mere repeat of the crash course and other information that could be easily found on samuel's youtube videos at one point samuel even just played one of his youtube videos instead of teaching the material himself dany and everybody else on the course were led to believe that there was a waiting list for everything but they soon realized that they'd just been victims of poor service danny had even recruited five people onto the course in the belief that it would speed things up for him dany never got the guaranteed deal that he was promised when he joined the dfe course so he had to go back to the bank to ask for another loan to pay for the third installment of his course the bank then rejected him so his wife had to take out a loan for him instead danny explained that the content of the course was subpar and much of it nothing to do with property he was also told that one of his courses had been cancelled even though he'd already booked the day off work and had paid for travel expenses for the day danny found a group of other people that were unhappy with the course and they all decided together that they were going to try and get a refund so on the 16th of july 2019 danny's first complaint email was sent where he requested a refund for the course on the 17th of july he got a reply saying the refund will not be made because it was outside of the 14-day cooling-off period and it was legally binding on the 26th of july danny responded by saying that none of his points had been addressed he said the point is none of the things he had paid for had been delivered and that his consumer rights were being breached and this is completely correct in my opinion on the 29th of july danny received a reply which said it had been escalated onto management but it can be up to 10 days for a decision to be made so samuel explains this story in a video by explaining that four months after joining the academy he said he wanted a refund as the customer service was poor the facts are that danny joined our academy and he's ended the training and we loved danny and he seemed to really enjoy the training four months after being on the academy danny um emailed in to customer service and said that he wanted a refund because he felt that the customer service was poor and he felt that he was not in the sport from the office that he needed that he wanted on the 30th of july danny posted on facebook to say that he was disappointed with the academy now he'd gone public with his position russell felt the need to call him and spent 45 minutes on the phone to him and he posted on facebook saying i was disappointed in the service from the academy and the same day he posted that the ceo of the company and my brother russell um saw down his message he heard the actual refund and russell my brother he actually phoned danny up and he said look are you okay we don't know exactly what was said during that 45-minute call but danny says in his own words that it consisted of russell promising him that things would get better and that things would change but if he still wished to leave if things did not change then russell would help him get a refund in samuel's words he says that russell offered him a refund and russell spent 45 minutes on the phone to him just offering support um and asking him like what we could do different and on that phone call talking to talking to danny russell offered danny a refund russell said look if you want a refund we'll give you a refund we'd love you to carry on with the academy we really believe in you but if you want if this is totally not for you and if you really feel like you know we'll give you a refund so after this 45 minute conversation with russell danny discussed it with his wife and he decided to give the academy another go and this was on the 31st of july last year the following day danny messaged him and said he didn't want a refund and he said he was going to continue the following events are documented in danny's whatsapp messages with his friends in the refunds whatsapp group on the 7th of october danny said that he had pointed out that it was not wise for samuel to do a house that he had bought in doncaster as an hmo as there are multiple hmos in that area and they're not renting out and landlords are just trying to get rid of them for that reason so the house that he was talking about it was the one in doncaster which ended up selling for minus 23 return on investment after pointing this out danny was kicked out of the academy facebook group danny's emails to the academy after this just continued to be ignored calls were not answered or they were promised to be returned and danny would be waiting weeks for a call to be returned to him on the 22nd of october danny finally realized that he wasn't ever going to get what he paid for and he asked russell for a refund again then two months later in october danny reached out again um and he said that he he actually changed his mind and he did want a refund and now this is obviously quite a long way into his academy and customer service responded and said to him um you know what what was the issue you know what's happening and and they spoke and they listened to danny um and on the thursday he was told that um okay we're gonna we're gonna tell russell fill him in on what you've said uh and we'll get back to you and all was good and we were talking with danny and i was good that was on the thursday russell was russell was at an event on the saturday before we even had time to respond before it was like time to respond on the saturday um danny took his life before we had time to respond samuel you and your brother had months to respond to dany's concerns and requests but every single time as he said he was passed from pillar to post he was ignored or when he asked for a refund he was goaded into giving it another try or he was flat out refused do you think perhaps samuel he was pushed to the point where he realized that he was never going to get a refund all the members of the facebook group had to pull together money for dany's widow the woman who he had married only 10 weeks before to this day you have not answered danny's mother's questions you seem to spend a lot of time on the facebook group so i'm pretty sure you've probably seen her questions you've chosen to ignore danny's mother to this day samuel absorbs himself of any responsibility in fact he's turned himself into the victim extremely upsetting to me and my family like me and my family have been getting threats we've had death threats over this because of the lies that been going around quote there certainly is no connection between his decision and our training course to samuel where was he support the promises the one-to-one mentoring the guaranteed deal he couldn't get that because he had no money why was he allowed on the academy he spent every single penny on your course that you couldn't provide you tried to silence him by deleting him off facebook and shutting him down well since he's now dead his voice is now louder than ever people are noticing they're listening and they're coming forward this depressive guy is an uncle a brother a son a new ma newly married husband a father whose son's cries will haunt me forever the conclusion i have come to is that samuel's talent is lying and peddling misinformation and making it sound convincing so it really should not surprise you that he and his brother used to be illusionists he's doing the exact same thing using the very same skills to this day it's just misdirection but this time it's harming a hell of a lot of people he'll embellish whatever he's saying with little phrases like i've got the invoices to prove it's nice to say to people go overseas because i don't like to play with people invest in yourself because i do it i'm spending i've spent millions and i can share the importance but you can't can you because as soon as he said it he's moved on to the next thing it's like when he talks he's like a wikipedia page that's written brilliantly but there's very few citations but when there is a citation there the link is broken samuel knows that talking is his skill so whenever someone criticizes him online he'll offer to have an interview and if they refuse he'll just accuse them of being a keyboard warrior the truth being like people know how it's going to transpire if they try and speak to him face to face he'll lie he'll bend the truth he'll try and steer the conversation to make it seem like him and his courses are the dog's veiny bollocks one person has interviewed him to his face and that was mike winnit and all he did was lie and bend the truth if they're spending twenty five thousand pounds yeah on on on a course that's gonna teach you how to invest your money into property and you don't have any money yeah to invest into property and you can't get a mortgage yeah and and you haven't got 25 grand and you have to put it on a credit card then i think that would be an unethical to push that sale on somebody even though by law we don't have to do this we always offer a 14-day calling off period i i don't even as a company we don't have to offer a calling off period so i just think people saying oh it's pressure sale that is complete nonsense like i really do not need to get actors well they're not actors samuel they're called manipulated course members that's right people say i use fake testimonials and they'll find testimonials from like alistair or even russell okay so people will pull a testimonials like oh my gosh this is russell this is samuel's brother it's like yeah but you got a video from russell from like four and a half years ago when i ran my very first crash course my brother came along to support me at the crash course thought it was great and shared that he thought it was great he wasn't pretending he wasn't my brother yes but you didn't say that he [ __ ] was did you that's the point and your mum too and just a hectare and as from this year um i i don't even take a salary from the training it doesn't matter whether you take a salary or not samuel the fact is that you take dividends you're taking money out of this company to someone who doesn't know samuel and is coming to all of this fresh as they say new blood they're probably going to be very easily convinced by samuel he is a good liar when other people accuse him of doing things that he's unequivocally done he'll just act like he's so confounded by the claim do these people even think this is crazy that is absolutely crazy that doesn't go on companies house it's like some people i don't know whether they actually think but samuel knows that he can't fool people for long he needs new blood that's why he's now on tick-tock jumping on every trend possible to try and pour children into a sales funnel they want to have complete control over you and everything and they need you poor and dependent to do this they're super rich they want financial literacy to save for themselves so they can have all the money banks they want all the money all your money so that they can invest it themselves education system they're not allowed to teach anything that's not in the government appointed curriculum the media they sell bad news stories to get more views but ultimately controlled by the government the general public are mostly slaves to the system but looking forward to retirement age 65 and then there's me rich financially free and showing thousands of others exactly how to do the same in order to leave a legacy and change the system and it seems like it's working just ask yourself why the heck would a financially free millionaire spend time making content like this that is the most cringy thing i have ever seen university is a scam he posts it on instagram comparing getting a drama degree is money down the drain as opposed to investing in yourself for financial freedom ironically though if you want to get rich the way samuel did you would actually do pretty well out of getting a drama degree because it turns out that all you need to do is learn how to act like you're already rich and then sell people shovels one of his winners on a wednesday videos features two teenagers who went to a free crash course they apparently got a deal straight away just by going to the crash course which was from a huge company that was wanting to source 5 000 properties and we're willing to trust them with a 190 million pound investment and they were expecting a one percent commission on that so 1.9 million in profit so sammy will excitedly title the video teenagers achieve financial freedom from one client as deal sources and the video went up in august last year so i went to the company's house to check out the business accounts of course and um it's currently six thousand pounds in debt and one of them has left the business so i'm assuming that deal went through they're so young and naive and i just feel so bad for all of these kids like these kids that feature in the video they honestly seem like that they've got the potential to be really good they're really good at marketing themselves and it seems like they're too very business savvy people but he's it's just clear evidence of him manipulating children and if i was starting out from scratch as a teenager to get rich this is exactly what i do okay here's my advice to 16 year olds qualifications are massively overrated so when you're a teenager or or a young person in general the massive advantages you've got nothing to lose guys are like 15 16. did you enjoy the day yeah it was amazing what would you say to other teenagers that are thinking of coming to the crash course just go for it i would drop out of school 15 years old so kids here's my advice get out of education because education don't the schools don't teach you to be rich there's a little boy who's 15 years old and he jumped up do you think it's right that little children right stand up and ask questions about being financially free when you should have been at school today i was actually saying that myself as whispered to the next person next to me i was like is he skipping school for this you know but how long will it be before you guys are financially free do you reckon hopefully in the next year maybe and it seems that samuel knows that property investors will one day just go down the pan which is why he's already set up new branding the freedom formula and it's all bright yellow and child friendly looking either way though for this new branding to work for him samuel has to be the talent as long as his reputation is tarnished and people don't trust him anymore then perhaps he will stop as a young person though when you're trying to find your way in the world sometimes it's hard to know who to trust why should you trust me perhaps this has worked for people perhaps i'm lying because i'm just bitter and poor and i'm secretly working for the bbc and the banks or something i think in situations like this however it helps to learn from the past samuel leeds is not the first person to do anything like this and he won't be the last he's not the only person doing this in the world right now it's happening everywhere there is no get rich quick or financial mastermind freedom cash flow formula that works for everyone everywhere there is however a formula to get vulnerable people docile enough to drop thousands of pounds on a dream they're all the same give out loads of free content claiming how to make people financially free or rich or teaching men how to pick up women because we're all the same don't you know we're just robots that you have to program but just hold back just enough information from this free content so that they feel like they might need a paid course to get them going perhaps it's just a few thousand pounds just enough to cause a song cost fantasy but these people are for the most part rope they don't have a few thousand pounds so what do you do what's on a very cheap or free introductory course where the brainwashing begins convince the people that they can source the money for the course if they really want it enough tell them they've got to be doers invest in themselves tell them they're weak if they don't watch them take out loans or borrow money from loved ones in a desperate attempt to improve their lives once they've bought into the next level course your only job is to continue holding back just enough information but continue brainwashing until you've achieved full plasticity in your audience have them convinced that they need to buy into your top level course for thousands upon thousands of pounds then hang them out to dry or use them to reel in the next ones repeat here it is here this has got everything i've learned 22 years about buying houses without spending a whole bunch of money or using bank financing i'm now going to introduce you to a guy called rick otten and it's a little bit like wandering money we launder people what we do is we bring people in who normally wouldn't be able to get a loan at the bank for one reason the other we produce them mortgage they make regular payments to us for a period of time laundering money out could take lottery money out back that up a bit yeah just as i said i thought that's wondering people lottery money who ran a company called we buy houses which basically ran in the exact same way but in australia you see we didn't go to real estate school we came from an environment of we have no money we have to buy some houses how are we going to do it he was a creative property deals guru who ran education programs he authored a book called how to buy a house for one dollar he would exaggerate how easy the deals were and he would sometimes push the envelope in terms of legality the court found that otton made false or misleading representations that his students could successfully implement the wealth creation strategies that he taught about 3400 consumers attended the three seminars and a further 2 000 people attended the boot camps at the end of the event people were wanting pictures of rick they wanted his autograph we had people that were crying would be investors were given some information about the initial free session then more if they paid three thousand dollars to attend the boot camp or the 26 000 mentoring workshops rick otten was eventually sued for a record-breaking 18 million aussie dollars five months later he filed for bankruptcy that's the largest fine in australian corporate history bailiffs found that he had very little property listed as assets contrary to what he would lead people to believe it is known that between 2011 and 2014 he generated around 20 million aussie dollars in revenue from the training programs ottom taught real estate investment strategies that suggested students could buy a house for one dollar without needing a deposit bank loan or real estate experience using little or none of their own money to create passive income streams through property they were advised that they could quit their jobs to start making profits immediately in august 2017 the federal court found these claims were misleading in contravention of the australian consumer law with otton lodging an appeal the book authored biotin and websites included testimonials from students claiming they were able to buy a house for one dollar which the court found were false okay g'day i'm chris i'm julie we're a couple of old chasers from australia we were a bit slow getting started when we first came out of boot camp with rick cotton simply because we didn't do the things that rick said we were supposed to do that's right i had my head in this book and i had my head in the computer looking for the next hottest deal but nothing actually happened not until we actually went out there and started to make things happen by doing things like oh flyers and drop letterbox drops classified ads in the newspaper and magnets on the side of our cars yes and the um good old signs on power poles and fences and then it all started to happen that actually did the trick and we sold our first house in february yes yes and if we ever got stuck we got on the phone to rick or someone from the office straight away and there was always somebody there to help us it was fantastic and it's august now we're on to our fifth house yes that's right that's right fifth house and how many months would it be now oh okay quite a few lost count you've lost count yeah how are we ever going to make any money oh we've already made money that's true we have and we haven't had to spend a dollar of our own money that's right it's true and if us aussie old cheeses can do it then imagine what you can do justice jacqueline gleason's judgment said consumers enticed by otton were given a variety of strategies which included rent to buy a sandwich lease option involving a middleman and a sweat equity option where the buyer carries out renovations in lieu of paying a deposit so rick basically called the rent to rent strategy the sandwich lease option which sounds a lot more fun and enticing to me sandwiches are involved count me in that's more sandwiches than samuel currently offers science courses anyway justice gleason accepted that some of the strategies were theoretically possible but added there was no evidence that they had been used by its students successfully none of wbh's most successful students known as big kahunas big big kahunas provided evidence to the court to show what they claimed to have achieved the accc called nine consumers as witnesses to describe how they had never achieved success so rick otten's teachings even made their way to the uk and now many british gurus are even teaching his strategies someone even let me know that someone in my hometown is teaching rick otten's strategies in the uk this is everywhere so who should you believe you might have watched this whole video and still be in the belief that i'm just a hater or i've been brainwashed by a hate campaign against samuel but remember we've seen the samuel leaders of the past come be disgraced and go cult following will do anything to defend their leader people tend to think their own judgment is better than average including their judgment about whom to trust this inflated sense of our own judgment makes us vulnerable to people who can fake outward signs of trustworthiness it's not just biases inside our heads that skew our judgment we often rely on trusted third parties to verify the character or reliability of other people these third parties in effect help us roll over our positive expectations from one known and trusted party to another who is less known and trusted in such situations trust becomes quite literally transitive numerous studies have shown that people often overestimate the likelihood that good things will happen to them that they will marry well have a successful career live a long life and so on even when people are given accurate information regarding the true odds of such outcomes they will still tend to think that they will do better than average if all of these biases and illusions weren't enough we also have to contend with the fact that the very simplicity of our trust cues leaves us vulnerable to abuse unfortunately for us virtually any indicator of trustworthiness can be manipulated or faked some scientific signs of people wanting to create false trust number one smile a lot number two maintain strong eye contact number three touch you to make a point number four they feign openness during their actual negotiation part of my core value is transparency number five they prey on close networks where they build social proof number six they may introduce you to family to make you feel part of their inner circle number seven they may talk a lot about wanting to give back number eight when challenged or asked reasonable questions they may respond in a hostile manner or tell you that you are not the sort of person they want to deal with number nine they will use fear and greed to suck you into their world number 10 they discredit those who offer an alternative view to theirs i've watched probably every episode of dragon's den i've been watching you for years chef russell never heard of this dude they may start crying when they tell their ranks to riches story as they are so emotional about it and their success this is often false emotion to appeal to your natural empathy and this behavior can be used to close a sale number 12 they like to be photographed with celebrities or people of influence in the belief that it boosts their credibility number 13 often these people are very egotistical and competitive and believe their own hype at my funeral i want there to be thousands of people there saying look how many lives were changed number 14 they are sure to mention all of the charitable works that they do as this is part of their marketing strategy and getting you to trust them so if samuel decides to respond to this video just take notice of the points that he he he glosses over and the points that he decides to focus on and cause a frenzy over just because he was able to manufacture a convincing sounding narrative as his rebuttal he'll paint himself as the victim again and he'll say that people are being pressured to distance themself from him even though when in reality they're all slowly realizing the truth in my opinion you will carry on asking people to face you samuel because you're one talent and i and my cat's one talent is your mouth you will carry on asking people to face you in person and samuel because you're one talent and i repeat your one talent is your mouth you can quite easily make someone look bad in conversation if they're not used to being in front of a camera if they don't have the knack for debate the vulnerable people that you target these people in person or on the phone you and your brother wherever you can just use your voice is where you shine people will walk away just hypnotized by you we've seen it happen again and again you avoid facts important facts that people don't realize until after the fact because you've been steering conversations in your own direction just like an illusionist you're a master of misdirection you could have used those skills to become a successful magician and just entertained people for a living but you decided to go down this route instead you might be flying high now but it will all come crashing down with a massive thud and it is all your fault maybe you should have pursued your music career too because you know what this track is low-key a bop [Music] so in true eminem style because
