RICH Beach GOLD Deposits

you got his head buried right in the ground he's after a chipmunk come on buddy we're here to find gold let's go get it so hey welcome back to flower gold wizard channel i'm jason a part-time gold prospector based in wisconsin we're currently not in wisconsin right now we're going to work the beaches of lake superior for some gold and there's great gold to be had here if you know where to look this is my mind and partner rigby he finds the gold i dig the gold and believe it or not i have everything i need to be a productive beach miner with just a small amount of stuff i brought with today so let's get set up we'll take a look at it back in a bit all right we're getting ready to get set up here now the beach has changed since i've been here last and the deposit i worked last has since been covered up by tons and tons of the bank collapsing down on top of it and i'm not digging through all that so we'll just find a new spot well there's miles and miles and miles of beach here to choose from but you may ask well where do you start well i'm looking for some black sand because the gold and black sand are the heaviest things on this darn beach and they seem to coagulate together concentrate if you will in in patterns and deposits along the beach such as this one right here now i gotta step over a couple of logs here and there but that's no big deal so i got my handy little shovel here i found on one of my last adventures and i just did a little scraping in here this stuff's mixed with a a good variety of cobbles big small medium but this really nice looking black sand in there and if you can tell well i don't have anything to compare it against right now but this stuff this sand is almost blue colored now i don't know if there's any gold in this stuff or not but uh the last time i was at this beach we really did well in the limited amount of time we were there so i'm gonna grab my pan right there and do a test pan out of this stuff if there's gold in it we're gonna run it so let's do that back in a bit all right now i only brought this small uh 10 inch xp pan with me today but that'll work just fine now i've got about a cup of material in there we'll go ahead and run this out out to the water here we'll see if there's anything in it at all it's getting windy hope you guys can hear me i'm gonna have to go to that puddle over there it's pretty wavy too yeah we'll see whoa all right tell you what my phone just got wet so i'll pan this down i'll pick it back up in a minute and the results rigby isn't impressed only one piece and there it is right there i may have washed a couple out doing the panning process but uh i know for a fact that there are some really good gold deposits around here and just because it may not be in that first scoop out of there there may not be something in the bank a little bit further down up left right who knows so i'm going to take a couple more test pins out of there before i get my gear set up just to make sure we're on it test test test now we're starting to show some more deposits here as we're letting that sand drain down and as you can see it's kind of layered in there so we'll give them a check that's right oh rigby's up there he's on the hunt point of note always carry spare parts with you i was crawling around before one of my darn my wing bolts here fell out of this side but i always carry extra wing bolts with me so luckily i had a spare so we're going to get my little high banker set up we're going to get running that was a close call all right i do believe we found a decent spot in that same deposit we started at right there we just had to go down a little bit deeper and uh it's not absolutely jet black as you can see but there is plenty of black sand in there as you'll soon see see how black that is down in there black black black uh looks like i might be running pretty darn good already what you want to do with this bdr mat here uh that i got from infinity prospecting is try to keep those those drop ripples and little spinnerets about half full that'll give the material and the gold a chance to hit the bottom and come in contact with that mat and that's how you're going to trap it but maybe just it's starting to clear out just a little bit more than i care so i might tip this end up just a little bit more and uh start running this material let's do that yeah i'm shoveling i'm shoveling all right we're grinding away here this baby's dialed in perfectly as you can see i just now threw one in there and those ripples take just a little bit of time to clear out but they stay about half full as you can see in there it's half green and half black that is exactly what you want with this map that way that gold has a chance to get trapped down there and get sucked back into the vortices this way and back under up against that edge so now all we got to do is run a ton of dirt all right i was getting a little worried there i did a couple of test pans while i was running this material and you know one would have a couple pieces in it and then the next one wouldn't and i was getting a little concerned so i ran two of these small pails right here and i did a little clean out and i'll show you what i got it's actually looking better than i thought it was uh i don't know what those are that's probably two gallon peel or something so this is almost four gallons but there's some pretty darn good gold in there and they're really nice size pieces too i'm not finding much for absolute tiny micro gold but as you can see there's some pretty darn decent pieces in here now we were getting really nice pieces in the last time we were here heck i even picked one or two of them up off my miller table but um it had a lot more uh micro gold in it and some of this stuff is floating and there's still a little bit of gold in there but those are absolutely great pieces so i think we're just going to keep running right out of this pile right over here i'll show you exactly where i've been digging not too far away right in there right in amongst all these these logs up in here and all the sand the blonde sand keeps falling down on top of that but there's a really nice black sand deposit in here see that you're always fighting the sand fighting the sand but this stuff here has great gold in it we just saw it so i think we're going to take a little fiber maybe have a little snack and back at it think it a bit don't tell reiki this snack time break is brought to you by smokehouse original meat snack sticks rigby approved julia he's a hard-working miner hanging a bit all right we're still running here sun's coming out it's a beautiful day i think it's in the 60s no bugs and i'm still test panning now i'll give you an example of what i do when i test pan black sand on the beach it's extremely difficult pan so basically i'm just trying to slurry this material around and take off not excessive but good amounts of sand at a time so i can get through this quickly now as you can see the light sand comes to the top when i settle like that and that's pretty easy to get off of there which leaves you with this heavy heavy black gob now it's important to shake rigorous vigorously so as to try to settle the gold to the bottom or at least under a certain layer of this black sand now once i get it flattened out to about that much and all the blonde sand is gone all i'm doing is i'm counting i start fanning that material back like that and if i see a flash of gold i'll count it i'm not even going to try to snuff it up or nothing that's just going to give me a really good indication of what's in the sample that i took and so far i haven't seen anything yet i mean you're not gonna see every piece that goes over the edge of the pan either you know unless you really take your time but uh that's a numbers game and i'm trying to get through buckets so i'll count if i see any until i get it down to a manageable amount i can fan back in this little pan like such then i'll fan that remote back right there and if there's anything in there at all well that's a good sign because that's what we're after gold i don't see anything in this one just yet that's not to say it's not in here i went through a couple of pans already today i didn't see any but uh there was definitely gold in the sluice there is a couple of micro micro fine pieces in there there's one right there so we're still on gold but there's a couple more up there so i would say we're still in the money is it the best spot in the world maybe not but maybe i'm just a crappy panner i get all right well i got it down to i don't know roughly maybe a big tablespoon tablespoon and a half but i have no i have no intentions of handing that all the way down that's going to kill all my run time but i will however go ahead let me see if i can get in the shader that might actually work better i will pull it back like this and you can see the gold showing up as i'm panning that that sand back flashes for a quick split second and then disappears well i'm here to tell you when i get this in the sunlight there are thousands and thousands of pieces in there just it's loaded so i'm definitely not gonna be uh cleaning my my material out here today but i know we're doing quite well and they're nice big pieces too this stuff is uh real i think it's gonna be comparable to the last material we're on it's just incredibly hard to pan out here in the field i mean really hard there's you know i keep seeing some nice big pieces like that one there and then as soon as you start swirling it disappears but oh well all right we're on the money we're gonna continue running back in a bit my deposit has been buried again let's get rid of some of this darn sand there it is look at that all that blonde sand keeps falling down this hill sun's drying it all out but you can see this deposit goes way back in there let me get some of this scraped again here see that look at that deposit that's the good stuff right there i mean to tell you it goes back in there aways too so i'll just keep scraping this stuff up filling up pails hopefully i can get about i don't know 20 30 of those run and we'll have something yeah it looks like i got another audience today a couple of guys in airplanes we got matching airplanes a little water pontoons here that looks like some fun look at them guys hey fellas that's how you get to your secret spot here they come again [Music] that's cool video update i found the gold deposit i was looking for here's the big old bank right here i had to shovel a lot of sand to get down in there but here it is right here look at this here is that deposit right here look at that that is really really nice stuff right there and you scrape off the sand and it just turns nice and black and i did some test pans out of here this stuff right here has got about 20 pieces in dang near and a cup full this is the stuff i'm looking for right here all day long look it in there the only trouble is every time you go like this all that stuff up there comes down here and you gotta shovel it but it's worth it because this stuff here is the just what the doctor ordered perfect right rig bomb oh rigby here he jumped up spotted a couple of geese sneaking up on us over there big ones and a little gosling you ain't getting my gold come on watch him rig all right we're done we ran quite a bit of material including quite a bit out of that deposit we found at the end there and uh i'm gonna start cleaning this out and i can see gold in there right now all right i saw a piece right in there then it kind of fizzled out when i when i moved it here let's take a little look at some of these yeah there's some gold right in there absolutely so we got gold definitely in there let's take a look up in this silicone mat here can i see it in there now it's tough and i do see something scattered about in in there but once you rustle this stuff around it all settles to the bottom and you can't see nothing so let's get that cleaned up we'll take a quick little quick little peek then we got some scouting to do i'm gonna go look for a spot to do some you perlite hunting in a few weeks back in a bit well we've got that stuff in the pan my final clean out and it's nothing sort of stellar let's take a little look at it now again i have no intentions of cleaning this all out out here in the wilderness but you can see when i'm when i wave the water over that sand every time more gold shows up let me see let me get the shade again here one time here we go oh yeah there's some really nice big pieces in there too that guy this stuff is loaded loaded loaded with gold oh i tell you i wish we would have landed on that spot right off the get-go but no matter i'm just going to pack all this stuff up here and we still did great in the spots that we did find but it does paint a test test test so oh let me find a good spot to climb up this darn hill here we'll get the heck out of here well we made it back to the dusty road we did well we got a lot of gold today let's get home wash this dust out of my mouth clean up this dirt see what's in it all right we're back first things first that was one dusty road back there four hours ago yeah i tell ya so what we're going to do today is i got my handy dandy devin gold cleanups loose right here from infinity prospecting and we've got our concentrates right here black poison that's for sure so let's fire this baby up via my bilge pump speed controller courtesy of washington beach mining right here we go then we'll run some of this through there all right there's our container empty and we've got our machine down got the water off i can see gold all over the place in there down maybe halfway or so and then down at the bottom one there i see where's my darn finger here right there i see a couple of teeny weeny specks in there maybe one or two but nothing to get flustered about and i will pan the tailings sooner or later but right now what i'm going to do is take this to your camera and i'm going to set it up right here and i'll put that stuff in a pail so i can get the panning let's pop it right on off of there just like that i'll turn my speed control around a little bit just like this and i'll give her a little shake all right looks pretty clean let's pan it out and here's the gold got it all cleaned up nice and i've had better days out there and i've had worse days out there i'm happy with it now i've got my little macro lens we'll throw that on there we'll take a look up close and personal here yeah some of them bits are a little bit rougher than than others but a lot of this stuff is extremely extremely flat like there's a little cluster of three right there that got some texture to them but the majority of this stuff is just tin foil flat and that's one of the reasons it's so darn hard to catch out there that just kind of flitters on out here your system and i'm sure we did lose gold out there but i'm happy with what we got well that's gonna conclude today's episode of beach mining i had a lot of fun so did rigby it was a nice day out nice
