Reacting To Can 3 PokeTubers Beat Pokemon Platinum

what is up guys this is john aka pokemon and today i'm bringing you guys something a little bit different as i'm gonna be reacting with mikey and jack to the final episode of our three-way pokemon platinum project i edited this entire thing it took a long time but these two have not seen this yet and has not premiered on my channel and i really wanted to get especially mikey's reaction to the entire elite four run and we're gonna go through some of the best parts of this episode get reactions talk about it a little bit and have a nice ending for the series so mikey jack any uh comments before we get into this uh you said it hasn't premiered on your channel as of recording this right people want to watch the video in its entirety is available on your channel right now and they should especially mikey's reactions apart and and just us explaining why different things happened subscribe place an episode so i'm really in the dark of what pokemon mikey has what jack has done i barely remember what pokemon we even have i'm incredibly excited i'm incredibly nervous moment of truth oh my god i left it that bad but why is he in the pokemon center oh my god dude i didn't know the they get immediately poisoned and i was like okay if we have this strategy like none of us will lose any future battles because every gym leader we can poison all of their non-steel and poison pokemon i would like i would like to have bruce yes of course i don't know what the other thing is so lucky i assume it's something bad otherwise it wouldn't have been thrown into the the daycare so i'll take that too why not i don't know if i use sharpedo over lantern or the kingdra but sharpino is really powerful getting a dark type but it is john there it is wait a second what's going on here wait what yeah yo i thought i was just getting my third water type on the team i did not expect [Applause] did you notice the move [Laughter] iron defense oh wait no i didn't notice that wait i'm going back yeah you tried sneaking this in okay we had one heart scale which i was going to use on toxic spikes but then i had to use it here no yeah i don't i don't know how i yeah i forgot about the whole over overriding moves annoyance of daycare it turned out fine everything turned out fine we had one and we used it for good and by last gym i mean the last gym battle i'm going to do of course there's one after this but you know what it could all end here that thing has air slash watch out that's why i'm leaving my strongest pokemon lugia they get immediately intimidated but you know what when i get my rights wait guts guys oh well it won't matter they just gave me a guts boost now i desperately need you to get my hair what happened i i can't heal in battle and i got paralyzed i thought that first slash would have killed well he was intimidated oh so he's at minus one plus the guts boost which i don't know how much the guts boost is but i think it's 1.5 so i think it like pretty much cancels out or close to it jam it yeah it i think it basically just made it like normal all right playing it the critter knots guts ursa ring still got the job done really not too worried about investors wait can we just talk jack immediately goes oh no and then video john goes i'm not too worried about a vested friend i like i i saw vasquez like oh this isn't a big deal but the one thing i completely forgot about is flareon at this point doesn't have a physical fire move so that i can't really use that and while i can go for rock moves here press play a little bit more worried comes that bug buzz crit we do have rock moves here but if this does too much damage we're in a really yeah situation and it worked out because look how little that did i think this means we have to go into you so now my team is almost dead already screwed they're they're giving me the swagger [Music] oh my god i think what'd you say jack wouldn't strength do so much more than fire spin there so the fire spin gives recurring damage yeah i i was thinking that i'd be able to tank the hit super easily but vespa quinn's just i guess stronger than i thought it would be so it was doing way more damage each turn but like the swagger strength was unbelievably important as sad as that is the swagger is actually gonna allow us to do it it did we did it wow that is incredible oh no he's got aqua jet on sharpedo no i do not you don't no but i mean i can out speed i just have to sack a pokemon here we have we have kingdra i'm sorry it has to end this is why you didn't get farewell thank you for your service lugia you did good it could be anything could even be a real movie that would be an interesting twist of fate but it's a grand bowl that is something that caused because it's super important context okay now everyone's seen this part already but it explains my my thoughts in this moment i noticed that this was sniper kang draw now in competitive singles especially there used to be a set with focus energy scope lens and sniper king train you just cr every single turn and i forgot that sniper makes crits more powerful rather than happening more often and in a battle earlier when i noticed sniper i got three straight crits to kill a pokemon so i go for focus energy here assuming in my head i'm going to get a crit like i got three in a row i'm going to get a crit like guaranteed easy granble is nothing so that's the context that apply oh no it's her last resort pokemon and with that intimidate the only thing left to do is to get a crits it's gonna miss hydro pump the only thing left to do is get a crit hydro pump take us home king truck come on it's like 49 i'm like come on come on easy credit [Music] it worked one time why not again head butt that's not gonna do much at all they're gonna cry i lied i lied i lied a little bit i had to save this i said i wasn't going to use this guy as death fodder but desperate times come on oh my god this is reminding me of the raids we did with sharpedo where it's just terrible yeah it's just so it's a glass cannon but rough skin thank god yeah i mean because lazarus lazarus bullet punch mikey if i didn't go to the daycare center etching your name is sans of time i don't care whether or not that makes sense the battle is done lazarus has clutched oh three deaths everyone else almost dead that's oh oh that team you had the audacity to roast me for the team i left john and then you pull up with this yeah oh yeah i don't know why you didn't go back to the the pokemon center yeah oh okay i wanted to i really deserve an apology i you scared me that's all you frightened me you had a pokemon at one hp and what a eight that was poisoned okay well the thing is i know that you release pokemon when they die so the fact that i know it's because i had the ball capsule but the fact that one of them was dead and in the party i had no idea what happened like did you have a stroke at the end of your recording like what's happening wouldn't let me release them and i was too lazy to take the ball cap but that's why i was so confused yeah so we're gonna watch jazz hands of all full all right oh we're not actually gonna watch it evolve thanks john you you said woo when it was fun who can relate oh i can catch all of them what was that crying forgot about the other like i can this is how things go for me i guess it's crazy yeah how many pokeballs did it take oh like 40. it was a lot and like fainted at one point but it's like sounding like so i didn't care oh wait what you say here because it shows that this was super clutch good thing we had 99 pokeballs yeah i know right all right so sh you said it was your last hyper potion oh i got it yes oh i did yes yes oh my god forgot about the other lake well last high proportion oh you're gonna die here oh i got it oh my god all right and that that was literally my first try i would have reset the game until i got it but i didn't have to incredible is this wow all right and you put in one ball no no no he he cut it out i used i used a lot on this one too um but yeah so that was me catching uh arcos and giratina well that would have been real nice to use things might not have happened the way you know i can't say anything oh i think the best part of this is when i was editing it like because obviously i mean i can't this video be like multiple hours long and show every attempt that would be crazy and the fact that you got these two legendaries after the masks are bald legendary it's like i yeah master ball was as elf yeah i know i like totally [ __ ] i don't know i didn't know that pokemon was a lot all right i'm back in the sunny shore pokemon center everybody's healed up i'm not hiding lazarus this time last time i hit it in an effort to make it so that jack wouldn't find it and kill it and i wouldn't get to use it again but if jack kills lazarus now there's nothing i can do about it so might as well leave it here so that turned out to be not true you might be foreshadowing seeing me after mikey's part instead of jack and there's one easy explanation for that mikey gave me the save file just to make sure it worked normally oh come on jack and that was a foolish miscalculation as i'm gonna be going into this and putting the legendary pokemon i know mikey caught for the giratina encounter in the daycare i don't think he deserves a legendary i think he needs to prove it to me to mikey and you guys that he can beat the elite four with a rag tag team this playthrough has been chaotic whenever we hand it off to jack and we didn't really think about that before we gave him the elite forces no we really didn't maybe yeah we should give him a handicap and help him out but we can we just talk about like weeks and weeks ago when john was like like after we recorded the first part it's like jack's gonna have the elite four and i was like he's gonna have all of them he's not gonna have just like the first member and then john takes over like i am like 70 and 5 in nuzlocks with elite fours you know it's not the worst see i didn't know that because i've just seen your videos where you just lose platinum over and over and over again oh oh yeah elite four wise pretty good sleeplocks i've only lost one gotcha uh platinum platinum has your number man it's you're down real bad we we we we have i have fun with that one more than anything good that's my that's my fun run all right no he says he's the best pokemon player of all time prove it to me for now jack that you're not using an arceus there is no way you were wait well you knew i had legends when she did did you think it was just the one yeah no i i thought it was just one pokemon and the fact that there was three legendaries i didn't even know what to do my plan was to put one thing in the daycare and then all of a sudden there's three legendaries which i didn't even end up showing what i did with the azo because i i just thought jack would find it but he just kind of he ignored it which worked perfectly i didn't i first off i didn't see i i don't know if you show it or not it's uh it'll show like later when you guys are talking back and forth but in my in like the last second i'm like okay i don't know what to do with the a's elf i'm gonna put it in a box labeled sad next to stinkhorn and just see what jack does i i scrolled past it like twice not seeing it i literally filmed that two hours before my eye exam will you also and we'll get to it you mentioned aself the mikey who just he hears it he like remarks something on it and moves on and completely never brings it up again like go get it so i feel i feel very vindicated because mikey so the aself was like i benched the a's elf like yeah it's not good i like it so it was so freaking frail and like i was like jack needs some beefy boys you know yeah i was like who cares like it couldn't even like all it's only psychic move is future site and had to get like five more levels for it even learned extra sensory which if it isn't even as good as psychic so i'm like this is annoying me this aself is annoying me but anyways let's play using it arceus what do you mean mikey all right that wasn't even in a master ball that wasn't in a master ball i'm incredible how many legendaries did you catch how many legendaries are you trying to give to jackman it was it was it was genuinely just such a fun realization i was like oh i can go to the lakes and this is randomized let's see what they are and and before i edited this like i knew because you had told me that you got the legendaries because i mean obviously like my part is done i'm done with the entire series and i'm thinking about like how i'm going to edit it i'm like did he just decide screw that like any rules i don't have rules i'm gonna sit in the grass till i find arceus and giratina because they're like the best mascots of this game i didn't realize it was even possible for luck to be that perfectly good yeah i know right confused would have been nice okay so that's elf outrageous there is the master ball hello daycare lady yeah i would like you to raise one of my pokemon i think giratina would be best in your hands and you know what i think arceus over here would be safer with you or arcoos for uh people in the crowd so apparently i have to beat the elite four it says we have eight badges we've been on this game for 40 hours all right and now knowing i flew around so i didn't know where i went oh everybody didn't even look mikey has texted our group chat there were too many words i saved the run mikey what have you done why do we have a tailor what did he catch a legendary he had to have mikey what did you do and i know it was mikey too because you this dumb frame i gotta i gotta change it and set sub to m jtv not jet if you know you know well one thing we need it's a funnel i don't i don't every so in order to keep my adsense every time i say the b word i have my editor switch it out i recorded myself saying every pokemon that starts with the letter b so he just throws in a random a random pokemon every time and it's always a meme in the comments wow wow all right thanks jack and it wasn't even me i prepped you for success so well and it was freaking jon yeah well we find that out is this the draw is this the drama that shatters our friend group oh no but i i feel like the comments drama is more than this no because jack's gonna win it all and bring us all together so it's you know this is the calm or the i guess the storm and then we'll get calm i don't know all right let's play is we need to go level up now many of you may think it's best oh no instead we're just gonna throw everything in the daycare and do you want your pokemon back oh well it's occupied i guess we just wrote why did they leave all the puzzles to me it's it's so it's so bad that's so bad jack you don't even check what they are there's even a the worst thing is he saw the two pokemon outside inside them oh you thought the decorations i i thought that you put chad in the daycare so i was gonna leave chad in the daycare okay we get to catch a pokemon here and i'm hoping for something that can replace the talo i get two this counts as sunny shore let's start here what is our pokemon gonna be here we go it is a rapidash is pretty good come on boom pokemon john you left run we're going to lower its health a little bit now i can already tell so it should survive john edit that out don't show here we go yeah i thought it was steel type there's a steel type in the card game so it so it becomes steel type but not till it's an empoleon i i found that one out i also forgot i'm so used to random abilities i forgot the technician boosts false swipe at this point yeah so i was like oh there's no point in using it i'm not gonna kill this thing yeah we are on our way to uh to victory oh no you guys oh no it doesn't get much more why why isn't cliff getting this encounter right here you know what i'm like he's never seen anything it's too easy a swampert oh that's not this is my first battle now oh i have false swipe um good thing i've never used to use that so if we go ahead an x scissor a stab move with lazarus we should be able to get uxie now swamp i play this so well seems weak to leaf blade i think we we might be able to sweep this without them taking a single damage eight levels above and both of our pokemon being very fast swampert come on in one hit yeah that's not surprising that's what we like to see the yawn that was so bad excessive yeah i forgot that there was more than two pokemon here if that's just a taste of what's to come in the elite four then i'm excited cynthia oh i'm on my way jack shut up right now this could go very very it gets even worse we need to be able to one shot this thing it's defense yeah screeching is good don't use anything hasty like he's only made right now yeah so far nice but wait for it shadow tag speeds here i forgot about the come on it's fine it's fine we're gonna go ahead switch into quarantine the banette has shadow tag what up no the lava fed we're taking a shadow ball he's too used to randomizers yeah this time has uh can't attack i don't know so we are going to go ahead and false no i think i can kill i think i should have fallen oh i couldn't that didn't work i believe i can the elite four with these two pokemon in my first trainer battle i murdered both of them i mean i don't really i don't really fault you for it that much because dealing with wobba fett and nuzlockes is genuinely a big reason why i hate nuts logs there's there's nothing i'm going through all the boxes right now and they're sting corn he sees the edges off he's like wait hold on i gotta take a look at that that little stink horn i actually i did not see the aself there yeah no you're you it's like it's like a split second you don't know where they are you never see am i missing there's there's skip over you're so focused on the other two legendaries mikey hears that it's dead there's no way for it to have been dead and i i just love that because i i was so confused yeah i know like i was so confused about the fact that the like the legends were gone from my party that i was like a self in a dead box well i benched that loser anyways so like that's not what matters here i wanted him to have the giratina and the arceus how different this would have been if i had just not said oh it's occupied at the daycare oh yeah if you had never gone to the daycare you would like you it'd be a lot less embarrassing for you the elite four three videos hours of gameplay killing pokemon that's led to this you guys know you can run through that log oh no it's a tunnel it's a tunnel you can run more what this is pretty good you know what they'll never know they'll they'll never know that's scary eradicate oop oh that was so hard that was a that was a tough elite for me oh my god a tyranitar oh well i know that thing's ground type so uh let's go wait a minute oh yeah you don't do any damage that thing is also uh that the kill lapras so you know let's just kill it and cynthia i wonder what use parrish song that would be really bad all right bullet punch wow you have a wee vile too boom cynthia pause no no wait let's first ice pokemon platinum why yes yes we can so uh i did not see that coming i thought you were gonna win i did win yeah it was the first time and after after the second time is when i went into our group chat and said hey guys i won i desperately wanted to see your full reaction because i knew i was editing it didn't really matter he could he could win by a billion he could get a digimon in here and play with it like i would see anything there would be no surprises but i wanted to see your reaction and once i saw what jack actually did it this became a necessity mikey what are your thoughts i it's such a strange experience to be so simultaneously disappointed and proud like i'm i'm disappointed you lost but i'm also really proud that you just said screw that and did it again with level 100s because that's something i would do
