hello everyone and welcome to part three of our deep dive retrospective look at the best fights in bleach's iran car arc now this being the longest storyline in bleach we decided to split the arc up into three sub-arcs and then look at the top 10 fights in each of those segments before bringing it all together for one ultimate top 10 list of iran car arc battles firstly we looked at the iran car invasion then the waco mundo sub arc and we're finally here now at the fake karakura town section of the story however despite this being called the fake karakura town video in actuality we are going to be looking at the final third of the iran karak in its entirety from volume 37 right the way to the end at volume 48 meaning this video will also encompass fights and scenes from parts of the story like day aside and the final few skirmishes in waco mundo as before this is just my opinion so let me know in the comments below what you think your favorite fights are from this section of the iran car arc for me this was definitely the hardest list to make because i think it's got probably the best fights in the iran car arc by far for the most part anyway definitely some of the most interesting at least but i'd love to know your list in the comments below as always and before we get started if you haven't subscribed to my channel yet and you are a bleach fan make sure to hit that button now as you are in the perfect place for bleach content like this every single week give the video a thumbs up because it really does help with exposure on youtube and helps get the video out to as many people as possible i really would appreciate it if you shared it with people who you know love bleach as well and of course if you want to support me that little bit more you can go the extra step by visiting my patreon and helping me out over there a huge thank you goes out to everyone that has already done that i really do appreciate the support and it helps me bring these videos to you guys and one final thing a massive thank you for all the happy birthday messages you guys left me on the recent community post i really really do appreciate that that was honestly really nice so thank you all right so without further ado let's tackle the top 10 list of iran car arc fights from the fake karakura town section of the story and so coming in at number 10 we have the gote 13 versus ion now i've done a whole video on ion what makes him so effective and so terrifying and just the way kubo uses this character to really upend many of the conventions we had come to expect it's absolutely no coincidence that the fight with ion comes just after a pretty formulaic string of fraction battles and ion himself is nothing to be sniffed at in fact he takes out a number of vice captains like they were absolutely nothing dealing matsumoto still one of the most fatal looking injuries we've ever seen in the series wiping out hinomori beating hisagi and only finally being brought down by the intervention of the captain commander himself yamamoto it's a really great string of chapters like i said it comes after a fairly formulaic set of fights and it really helps bring that whole fraxione saga to an exciting and unpredictable close ion himself he's not the most interesting creature i do like how kubo built on his design with every different iteration revealing he has a massive mouth revealing his little skull is actually his nose he has huge eyes and this thing is just eldritch body horror at its finest something kubo absolutely loves to experiment with every now and then and i think this deserves its position on here for just how much it up ended those early fraction fights where things were looking a little bit dry this fight came in and it really did shake things up considerably however speaking of fraxion fights coming in at number nine is hisagi vs findor now this is a pretty weird one back in the day when it was coming out in the manga it wasn't all that crazy it wasn't all that impressive it was just another fraction fight except this time we actually got to see a brand new shikai being hisaki's kazashini and you know hisagi gains some really frankly brilliant characterization and also necessary characterization because i feel like looking back now it's kind of interesting hisagi was virtually an absolutely nothing character prior to this moment in the series kubo had done absolutely nothing with him and it was really these few fights he has in fake karakura that elevated him to the level of popularity that he's at today to the point where he can lead his own spin-off novel that's the kind of crazy amount of popularity he gained and it really does come down to these few scenes in fake karakura what makes this fight so special really is the anime adaptation they they had a crazy budget or something i'm guessing for this fight because it's just leagues better than almost everything else we saw at that point the soundtrack is phenomenal and hisagi himself like i said gets some amazing characterization about how he fears his sword if you don't feel your own weapon you don't have a right to use it i quite like findor as a character none of the fractiona that interesting at the end of the day but i do like his gimmick where he can shatter parts of his mask to supposedly become stronger but the best part about that is his own hubris towards the end of the fight when he thinks that he's the level of a captain but hisagi cuts him down immediately saying captain you were never close and i love that i think that's just so the whole thing is so badass but there's more to this fight than just pure badassery like i said hisaki becomes a fully fledged three-dimensional character in this battle and i think that's phenomenal add on top of that the incredible anime version of this fight and you have a real winner for showing off a secondary character so coming in at number eight on this list then we have the first espada battle on this list with soyfon oh mida and hatchy versus barrigan now this is a fight very much of two halves in my opinion i don't care for the first half of this fight at all really as i'm pretty sure i've talked about before it is a little disappointing in fact i've done an entire video on this battle in the past as one of my bleach battle analyses however we'll talk about it briefly here i think the first part of this fight is kubo really pulling his punches with a villain who deserved considerably better barrigan has an incredible design easily one of the best espada resurrections out there his ability respirator is just so it's so dangerous and like i remember reading it back in the day and just being blown away as it rotted soifon's hands to nothing i was like so if i'm supposed to be so fast this is terrifying and then the battle just gets neutered after that it just gets totally neutered it peaks almost immediately um i do like soy fun using ban kai and you do still get that chills moment when you see that she's strapped herself to the building using the steel sash um and then she uses bankai against barrigan but when you actually take the time to go back and look at this fight basically nothing happens it's almost a chapter and a half of just omida running around like a headless chicken while barrigan messes around with him this is all well and good but when this takes up almost an entire half of this battle the showing of your second despada that's a little disappointing things do change for the better however in my opinion once hatchi arrives when the vizards turn up and start aiding the goatee actually joins the battle against barrigan as i think many of us expected him to as i think we mostly expected his key though to be able to deal with barrigan's abilities it's really nice then the moment this fight starts barrigan breaks out the keto barrier and he's like you really thought that keto was ageless i love that that's again a really nice subversion of our expectations hachi puts up a good fight against baragon in my opinion soy fun's personality has always grated on me in this fight i don't like that she has to strike a deal with hatchie before she's willing to actually fight with him you know it's a life or death situation this is fada has literally taken your arm but okay but regardless it is really nice seeing true combo work coming together actually creating this massive keto fortress essentially to contain barrigan while siphon hits him point blank with the jackajo reich open that's the sort of thing i really like to see and that's kind of why this makes the list there's great visuals on show here and barrigan is at the end of the day just a really cool villain so that's why this fight gets a spot on the list so coming in at number seven and i wonder if this one might be controversial i feel like i say that a lot when it comes to my list but again feel free to leave yours in the comments below but this one is kisuke yoruichi and ishin versus eisen in his cocoon form in my opinion i like this fight otherwise it wouldn't be on the list but this is a prime example of one that kubo could have done so much more with and it feels like he is really again pulling his punches here and that's a recurring theme we'll see throughout most of the final few battles of the iran karak which is a big shame but you know he suddenly realized that actually there was way more they wanted from him in terms of creating a story for bleach um so he did have to pull his punches a little bit but it is kind of weird see when you think narratively kisque no ban kai against eisen yoruichi no zan park toe against eisen ishii no shikai against eisen i know some people have said that ishin is using inget sushi kai when he you know uses getziger against eisen but i i truly don't think that's the case unless it's been explicitly said somewhere that i've missed um i just think that kubo's drawing gets to go building on ishin's base sample that's all i think that is um again there's nice teamwork in this fight um i i do love uh urohara and ishin using those chains to bind eyes and while yoroichi then lands on his back and just absolutely pummels him with punches that's really cool eisen's cocoon form i never thought it was that stupid looking it did get relentlessly mocked back in the day um but i kind of liked it i think it actually worked well in the end i think what was important for the cocoon form was that it had good payoff i think if it didn't have good payoff yes it could have been mocked but i actually like that eisen does essentially evolve out of it that's cool and eisen himself even says that midway through evolution is always ugly it's really cool seeing keys k use incredible kidos like hardo 91 on eisen and that sort of thing that's really nice to see um but this fight is really just setting up the the kind of future of eisen in the day aside arc it's telling us that even these guys can't sense eisen's rayatsu they're not on the same level as him ishin hits him and he's like i can't sense where he is there's a really cool moment actually that i think is really understated which is when ish in breaks eisens cocoon and there's nothing in there it's just like this weird twisting mass of rayatsu because eisen at this point is not a being anymore he's reforming quite literally and i think that's understated but i think it's really cool um but this fight i like it i like the combos going on you know like i said uh kisuke using juzu tsunagi actually seeing him use benehime a bit more is nice the reason it's just down on seventh for me i do feel like kubo is really pulling his punches and and there's no real sense of urgency in this fight which is kind of weird as well um and eventually eisen just deals with all three of them essentially off-screen so that's a bit of a shame but i do like seeing these guys come together for one big brawl and then coming in at number six is the concurrent fight to that last one ichigo versus gene and i always look at this fight as a really pleasant surprise it's honestly not something i necessarily ever thought would happen but i like that kubo felt that gene was prominent enough a villain to have a proper sort of standoff with ichigo even if this fight is a little weird feels a little inconclusive and very broken up but i love what we actually get i love the initial standoff where geen lands in front of ichigo and says you know it's been a long time since we last fought then he uses bankai back in the day when i read that and he said bankai i think it's like chapter 399 or something like that honestly was one of the highest cliffhangers for me ever i'm not gonna lie as someone who was a big gene fan i was so excited for that and it was just so cool that he was getting to go up against ichigo of all characters the fight does take some weird turns from there and like i've said before in the past genes banchai initially was one of my biggest disappointments in the series ever just swinging a massive sword i was like surely there's more to it than this but i actually really loved how kubo built on gains bankai with every passing chapter then kind of told us that actually gene is an unreliable narrator really really just so character accurate for gene i love that that he was just lying to us the whole time about his barn car you know it's not as fast as i say it's not as long as i say is i really love that and again there's some great choreography here i love that guinea strikes it you go through the uh through the shoulder there's a bit of a song and dance between them as they're kind of fighting and clashing and ichigo's afraid that gene's about to fire off his bankai at any moment that's really cool geen feeling like that snake in the grass when he's fighting it to go there again just really good usage of geens barn kai overall the way you get really nice clash picture between ichiko and gene as keen pulls back his blade in time for them to lock it's just a really good sword fight and i think that the end of this arc actually really needed that you've got eisen essentially being a god and taking on three powerful characters at once this fight helps to ground the story again a little bit but obviously the main the coolest thing about this fight is that gene you know is essentially testing ichigo he's seeing where ichigo is mentally and if he goes able to take down eisen should gene fail and that's really cool because it adds another layer to gaines character and i like that ichigo starts out this fight very confident as well even though he does end up in a slightly bad place because he's afraid of eisen this fight lays a lot of necessary groundwork for that final battle without this fight i just don't think it would have anywhere near the impact that it does this is all part of gene's big sacrifice play and i really appreciate that and i really like the fight it's just got so many layers to it breaking into the top five of our fake karakura town final third of the iran car arc list we have kyoraku and ukitake versus stark and again this is another fight where it really feels like kubo is pulling his punches big time but that doesn't stop it from being a super enjoyable display of real power and skill in my opinion now maybe i'm a little biased because kiraku is my favorite captain eyes are not included and stark is definitely up there as one of my favorite is spada however i do wish that kubo had actually done a little bit more with both of these characters in this instance there's an appropriate amount of hype built up for this battle i think kubo knew that people were excited for this stark being the primer or espada kiraku being one of the most experienced and hyped captains at this point bear in mind up until now we have never really seen kiraki do anything which is weird to think now um but this fight is a little slower to get going than the harabel and baragon fights and kubo teases it out quite a bit and when it gets going it is pretty exciting stark's resurrection los lobos is cool as hell like you know it is really really cool you know i remember reading it for the first time it didn't initially like blow me away like barrigan's did when i turned the page and saw barrigan i was like that is amazing when i turned the page and saw stark i was like that's cool and then i took another look and i was like he has guns that's really cool so obviously stark takes on this lone wild west gunslinger look which is great the whole lone wolf thing kyoraku then activates katan kyokotsu and you really get to see it used properly for the first time takaoni busho gomer kageoni all these cool abilities coming out and then he starts working in tandem with ukitake ukitake draining starks rapid fire seros firing them back at him stark using his intellect to almost instantly work out how sogyonokoto ali works it is a big shame that ukitake was robbed of this fight almost immediately i don't i still don't feel like it was necessary to do that um but regardless the fight is still really entertaining and in my opinion this fight continues later on when stark and shinsui face off once more one final time so it's a little bit different to the hatchy fight hachi joins an already ongoing battle love and rose take over a fight that's kind of sort of ended kyoroku's like crashed down on the floor somewhere but he eventually rejoins after it looks like love and rose are about to lose um i do kind of consider the love and rose fight separate that's not a bad battle either to be fair but this is the final one-on-one duel between kyoroku and stark and i know a lot of people are somewhat iffy on this because kiraku is so underhanded stabbing stark in the back but he has no idea he's there but again this is similar to the hisagi fight for me in that it adds necessary layers of deepening characterization to kyoraku and again i feel like this fight is responsible for a lot of kyoraki's popularity moving forwards in the series in my opinion a thousand year blood war up does does loads for kyoraku more than more than loads of characters but this fight really starts the ball rolling great seeing him use moves again like kage only like ero oni which is just a really cool move we get flashes of stark's past overall it's just a really good fight my major downsides to this particular battle would be again no real feeling of urgency especially to the earlier sections and it's a real shame that kubo part of stark's characterization was that he really wanted to see a ban kai and it's just weird that he never did being the premiere at espada i really appreciate that he goes up against four shikai for captain shikai um i just love to i would love to have had him fight a bank he could have easily thought loves ban kai or in my opinion more fittingly ukitakes ban kai but it would never be unfortunately but this fight makes the top five on my list all right coming in at number four and we have the final battle of the iran karak ichigo versus eisen and it kind of pains me to put this at four because i just almost wish it had been higher but i still really like this fight and i like what this fight represents so eisen is transcending he has become a god-like being gene has tried to kill him and betray him and eisen has finished him off and now as matsumoto lies sobbing over gene's body eisen is walking towards them ready to kill everyone there ichigo's friends are bowing on the ground because of eisens rayatsu ichigo arrives and to this day it's probably still the highest ichigo moment for me at least anyway i think don guy ichigo holds a special place in everybody's hearts he just looks so cool it's one of kubo's finest designs in my opinion it's not it's not crazy it's not over designed it just looks really nice it's basically ichigo with really long hair he looks a bit he looks a bit older he looks a bit taller he has a chain wrapped around his arm his sword is almost like fused with his hand and that's it and it works wonders because you the moment you see him you're like this guy's on another level um and you know it's immensely cathartic it's immensely satisfying ichigo grabbing eisen by the face to just shut him up and then throwing him outside of karakura town everybody loved that i'm a huge eisen fan i freaking love that um that's a real catharsis moment and i think this whole fight is designed to be that way ichigo does spar a little bit with eisen previously just before ishii arrives on the scene but it's too separate from this to be considered the same fight in my opinion this is this is the singular showdown uh the big issue is too short that's my that's my major problem with it it is way too short i think it lasts three and a half chapters or something like that which for the big finale is disappointing now don't get me wrong kubo does eyes and justice anyway i think eisen fights for freaking ages before this um and that's fine it's just i think for the big final battle i would have preferred something a little more even that lasts for a couple of chapters longer but what we got is iconic you know undeniably iconic the final gets a gotencho mugetsu seeing the flashes inside ichigo's inner world saying goodbye to tensa zangets all that sort of thing brings so many memories back for me both in the manga and the anime both adaptations of this moment are really really good that final gets a goten show that just cuts eisen in two robs him of all of his powers and it's it's really it's just really really cool i i think it's it's awesome seeing this fight take place i love the initial clash between ichigo and butterflies and when they lock swords they block mountains and stuff it is like dragon ball z level craziness um definitely one of the absolute peaks of power in the series if not the highest peak of power i know a lot of people say that the final version of ichigo is up there as well and you know clearly he is because he kills the god version of you harbaugh but to me this has always felt like the peak of power and bleach like mugetsu is just like this world ending ability that just coats the world in black and i love it the visuals are off the charts the only downside for me really is it's too short and it's too one-sided but everything else i absolutely love and i know people kind of like to come in and make fun of this fight a little bit because kiki does kind of come in and just win the whole thing after ichigo has done most of the work but i think that to think like that would be to take away from the amount of effort ichigo has put in here and just how much damage he has actually laid upon eisen who basically is immortal at this point anyways so yeah i really do like this fight i think it will just forever be one of those benchmark moments that everyone remembers okay we're entering the top three now for our top 10 list of iran karak fights in the fake character final third of the iran car arc i hope you enjoyed the video so far don't forget to give it a thumbs up if you are i would really really appreciate the support but number three on the list we have a personal favorite of mine obviously otherwise it wouldn't be number three um but that is hisagi and komamura vs tosun and this is just a really emotional battle in my opinion written fantastically up until this point obviously hisagi and komomora both had real relationships with kaname tosun who reveals that actually he's been working for eisen the entire time he sees the seoul society as a morally bankrupt and unjust system that allowed his friend to die while their murderer got away scot-free can't feel your own world filling in some of those holes nicely um but it's cool because eisen obviously comes to towson with this idea of you know you're disillusioned i'm disillusioned i don't like the monarchy that's behind everything we can work together and i think that's really really cool and this fight is just so nicely done because you're supposed to think that komomora and tozen follow the same ideals um and tozen's betrayal shatters so much of commonwealth's belief he becomes a new man essentially you know doesn't hide behind his helmet anymore i was so always excited for this toes never been my favorite character i'm not going to pretend he is but i do like komomora a lot and i was always really excited by this notion of komomora saying to hisagi wheel open kaname's eyes and we finally got to this moment and you know tozen's using a hollow mask like that was like fan fiction that was like fan fiction prior to this that the bad guys would pull out hollow masks and become vised essentially um tozen's holo mask is okay it looks a little bit weird it looks a little bit bland but i do like how it transforms as the fight goes on and tozin becomes more manic more maniacal and falls further into darkness um it is cool seeing him fighting hisagi he's just ruthlessly attacking hisagi and stabs him through the gut and his argues like you know what are you afraid of you know what are you afraid of you taught me that you have to fear your sword in order to be allowed to wield it but you have no fear anymore you've become this monstrous being and tozen's like i am afraid you know i'm afraid of dying like one of you like a shinigami and then come on more activates ban kai great visuals again all round that shot of tozen turning around and watching as commonwear as bankai rises is just phenomenal in my opinion uh there's a lot of there's a lot of just great looking stuff in this fight but obviously predominantly this is a fight about emotions a fight about ideology and that's what makes it really stand out to me tozen's resurrection is a point of contention i feel like for people as is for the end of this fight in general but i have no problems with any of it personally i don't tozen having a resurrection is interesting it's weird it's a little bit weird i find it hard to believe to some degree that he would go that far because that is you know that's like pure corruption in the eyes of the shinigami at least anyway um you know there's a again there's just almost every sentence in this fight is a really nice like ideological question like tozen's like oh you know you look down on me because i got hollow powers and yet you you guys love ichigo and commonwealth is like yes but ichigo didn't ask for this you already had power and you threw away your friends in pursuit of more power you know commodore is like flat out saying you you profess to be on this path of justice but it isn't there's no justice here it's revenge and betrayal it's just really good characterization for characters that i don't think people ever cared that much about apart from his sagi um but anyway tozen's resurrection gria grigio i think it's pronounced something like that essentially turns him into a huge bug which i know people didn't really like but again i don't really hate it at all susan mushi has always had like a qriket theme um so i think that really works it gets to the core of of towson's imagery at least anyway um and i actually always thought this form looked pretty cool for the most part i think it looks really unique maybe the face is a little bit weird but everything else looks pretty cool again it ends quite quickly which thing is a bit of a shame but i also think the way it ends i've got no problem with it whatsoever it's it's it's obviously all about the imagery um hisagi lands on top of toes and stabs him in the freaking head and then uses kazushini to send a scythe out of his mouth which is like really gory drawn really well but i love that because tozen can see in this form and yet he's blind to his sagi's attack because he becomes someone that he isn't that works works for me it works on every level and the final moments between them where they almost like forgive each other and toast and like starts crying because of common more speech and he tries to feel hisagi's face and then he just blows up because like soul suicide it's a really good fight in my opinion and it kind of comes and goes it's like sandwiched between the espada battles and then ichigo arriving so i kind of feel like it gets overlooked a bit but i really like it nonetheless and second on our list is sosuke eisen versus the goatee 13. and this is you know this is probably my bias talking but i do love this fight and there's not really anything else like it in bleach i would have loved to have seen like uh taking on loads and loads of opponents because he clearly could have done but kubo does a great job here of just showing us why we should be afraid of eisen how powerful he actually is when he takes on basically the entire of the goatee 13's upper echelon of fighters now there's something to be said here about this i just want to i want to address this before we actually talk about the fight is it is it bad writing that eisen is left to deal with every single hero possibly because it just goes to show how ineffective the espada actually were however actually seeing this in action is undeniably really cool you get great character moments all around tengumaru and tenken coming together and clashing on eisen and and then as an eisen fan this is peak eyes and glory when he says to come on more things like no i think power you and i have completely definitions of different definitions of that word allow me to show you what true power is it just wipes out komomora then he wipes out love and rose um there's a really cool thing where he has like love wrapped around in rose's arm puck toe and cuts him down you get great character moments from the uh shinigami as well though however soy phone using her clones to like attempt to distract eisen kyoraku stabbing eisen in the back and rising out of his shadow looking really cool at the same time and then of course shinji using sakanade to reverse everything as hitsugai stabs him in the back again great combos between really powerful characters what alleviates this fight above everything though is the best eisen moment in all of bleach in my opinion when they think they've got him killed he reveals that actually he has at some point somehow swapped places with hinamori and they have just been attacking her instead ichigo's like what the hell are you doing and then it it's revealed that they're attacking the wrong person you the best eyes in line the one that became a meme before memes were even really a thing like way back in the day eisen was like you know shinji says uh when did you start using kyokusuigetsu you know because at the very beginning of this fight hitsugai remarks to eisen i commend you for not using kyoku so he gets you right off the bat immediately underestimating eyes or perhaps giving him too much credit eisen responds to shinji saying that's that's an interesting question allow me to give you one of my own when were you under the impression i wasn't using kyoku so he gets to and that's just so it's so good it's the ultimate eyes and troll because he's been using koko so he gets it the entire time and shinji is like oh i you know i didn't even realize i gave him too much credit he's been toying with us this whole time is it a little bit ridiculous that eisen takes out kyoraku soifon shinji and hitsugaio basically a single move probably um but you know kubo had to wrap this thing up somehow uh i like to i like toshiro's immaturity getting the better of him here as you know he's basically just impaled his childhood best friend um it's really really dark stuff i think kubo was just having a lot of fun with eisen here being a master just really punishing the characters and i love that are there some kind of inconsistencies and holes with this fight i'd say yeah i mean how does eisen actually swap the two of them around how does hinamori not die when she when she gets hit by like nigeki kasatsu from soifon because those attacks do actually hit you see them both land you see her pull away and there's blood on her hand you know maybe that's just a completely fake eisen and there's no hinomori there at that point that's definitely possible um that's another great eisen moment as well though when soy van thinks he's gonna die and he has just loads of shadows on his face and he's like i can crush your pathetic attack with my riatsu just just great eyes and moments all round a really nice coming together all these characters i don't think i necessarily expected it back in the day um but they all get systematically wiped out and it's it's it is cool to see and it's a really great skirmish that then leads on to the last set of battles and so we come to the number one spot on this list and i imagine at this point it is fairly obvious what it is i had a few people saying why wasn't it in the last video well it's because it doesn't happen during those uh that span of volumes it happens during this span of volumes and i said at the start of this video um that this fight is not just fake karakura town arc it also encompasses day aside and the battles in waco mundo but actually i only needed the one battle in waco mundo and the best fight in this section of the iran karak is of course ichigo versus ukiyora their final battle and you know this this is the 10th pole ichigo versus biakya fight of this arc it's the coming together of two characters who are sworn enemies completely opposite ends of the scale in many ways but perhaps more similar by the end of this fight than they would like to admit this is i think i want to say the single longest battle in all of bleach i remember counting it back in the day i think it comes to a whopping total of 14 chapters one after the other there's no breaks in this fight from start to finish and of course that makes it all the more impactful um this fight starts out kind of pretty standard fare there's nice choreography on show here ichigo fighting all kiyora essentially to save orahime a couple of interesting characters show up lowly and men only yammy uriu sharp it turns into a bit of a skirmish a bit of a free-for-all um that does take some of the focus away from that initial sword fight the fight obviously completely changes once ichigo and all cure end up outside the dome and that's clearly what is going for it starts out as a pretty standard fair wacom and espada battle and everything changes once they enter the darkness they enter the blackness of wakamundo the true waco mundo and i've mentioned in the past in the last couple of videos in fact the waco mundo arc is all about ichigo's fall from grace essentially his his descent into holodom he's taking on more and more of these hollow forms these hollow instincts the way hollows feel and fight and this is the culmination of that this is the ultimate climactic moment of that journey the darkness all around them symbolizes this the black heart of wacomundo itself all cures first resurrection murcielago i think it's pronounced something like murchilago i remember being a little disappointed back in the day i like his double horn helmet but i and i like his wings his wings obviously look amazing and i love the detail that kubo goes into making it rain like this black rayatsu and stuff it's just really really awesome and that's the kind of detail he's able to go into when he's afforded all this extra time uh but the dress i always thought looked a little bit weird however okiera's second resurrection that he activates when ichigo will not go down ichigo is determined to fight even in the face of insurmountable odds all cures says you don't know what true despair is and he activates his segunda etapa which in my opinion is one of the best looking designs in the series it's a little edgy it's a little bit kind of emo but it is also exactly what i hoped yora's resurrection would look like um and this quickly goes south it is like no other fight in the series and it is so dark for the hero again i've done a video discussing what goes on at the top of the dome ichigo's life and death situation and the dome fight is something that will stay with our heroes for the rest of the series and that is something i really really appreciate this is an intimate fight between demons this is an intimate battle that only involves a few characters each ego okiora orahime and uryu and they will carry this fight with them for the rest of their lives um and it's really great seeing something have real rippling ramifications in bleach you know that doesn't happen all that often um you know it's a big shame for instance the tsukushima stuff is just completely erased essentially after the fullbring arc but this is a memory that will stay with them ichigo being killed by orciora's second form just a hole blown through his chest by cerro oscarous orihime struggling to bring him back to life uri valiantly essentially giving his life knowing he doesn't stand a chance against little kia ora to try and buy her some time um and again people gave or he made a lot of a lot of hard time back in the day for the amount she was screaming kurosaki and kurosaki and yeah i get it it can be a little bit much i think this time it's actually warranted though she's just seen essentially the man she loves murdered and bear in mind these guys are only 15 at this point as well it's a tough moment and then ichi goes in a hollow or you know zangetsu essentially takes over his body really nice payoff for foreshadowing back in volume 25 where white says if you die i'll crush you and take your body that's exactly what's happening here essentially his instincts are now driving him um i've seen people call this you know vasto lordich you go this is a discussion for another day i don't think it is that at all i think it is just the purest form of ichigo's zam zampakto instincts essentially taking over but anyway he demolishes all kia ora we get this hellish fight between two monstrous demons essentially um you know there's there's a reason they're both horned they both have just claws and these monstrous appearances there's flames in the background it's supposed to look like an infernal battle between two monsters the peak of ichigo's fall this is taken even further of course when ichigo stabs uru in the gut and it's just a crazy crazy fight that never lets up and ends in my opinion a really satisfying manner i like that ichigo is freed from his his crazy hollow form by all kia ora um you know otherwise potentially there was no way he was ever going to get out of it again and i like that all cura whether he meant to or not or he's just doing it for self-preservation inadvertently saving uryu and just the rest of them and it's just a really really powerful fight and obviously orihime seeing that new form of ichigo being afraid of him will stay with her she's afraid of that in the very last battle with yooha she's afraid of letting him die again as she mentions to rirukas so this fight does stay with these characters and that's what's really important here all cure turning to dust as he finally understands what a heart is as he holds out his hand and asks or he may she's afraid of him now or cure i'm not going to pretend is the deepest character in the series some people probably would have you believe that but he's not really but his actual realization as to what a heart means to these people just as he dies is is great it's really good stuff and it allows for a really emotional fight a finale um to an incredible fight and easily the best fight in my opinion of this particular section of the story oh another long video down guys i really hope you enjoyed it please let me know in the comments below
