doing the hubell of diamond rally this is a charity event the run is from Vancouver all the way up to Pemberton then an airstrip where they're gonna be doing some gentlemen's I think drag racing and the you know attempt the world record for the most supercars on an airstrip I believe it's 250 so we have a new car that August luxury motorcars has given us for the rally I've saw on social media some of you were like congratulations it's not a congratulations for a new car we didn't buy this thing but you know our love for a 458 runs deep so today none other than the four five eight spider behind me thanks to august luxury motorcars is going to be our diamond rally DD car official DD car and they made it official by going all-out last minute they had just a custom gray multi tone gray and yellow camo wrap and they put the DVD logo on the side and then we have right there the August logo and we have our diamond rally logo all right mrs. didi there's only one thing to do we have a four five eight spoon I believe that is to make it a spider go go gadget didi car ah little puddle here down fans on your Township No traffic mess up bars everywhere cars over this is my boy Cliff's wide-body Porsche just finished building it looks and seen on the road I think we found the event start rip free rally fun shenanigans are that Christopher Pagani is here again he was here last year was official guys we are under way 2019 diamond rally see guys following the Sena a little bit more about the rally so it's a charity event it's a partnership with Children's Wish they grant obviously children in the hospital in need a special wish and it's a very near and dear thing to my heart I love helping children's charities so a great great cause we're basically going from Vancouver to Pemberton it's about two two and a half hours depending on how you drive we'll be following the rules [Music] okay guys little rally update we are on what's called to see the sky highway it literally goes from the ocean down where we were like Horseshoe Bay where we take the ferry actually from Vancouver Island to get to the mainland all the way up to Whistler Blackcomb world-renowned ski resort in the winter and downhill mountain biking in the summer and that amazing so this is one of the best this hands down one of the best drives in all the Western Canada [Music] so I was just informed by the camera guy there you saw in slow-mo that the hood is currently popped open which is dangerous because on this car it literally comes up this way at the windshield so as soon as we have an opportunity to pull over safely on the side of the road I need to close the front hood that's like it's pin spot my hoods popped open there we go and he's arrested damn one down one down whoo [Music] and I know that from the year of ownership until the car got he rest in peace a little slower of a section but look at this view mountains snow on them still we might not be going very quick but you holding these are these like downhill mountain bikes what are they downhill mountain bike the only way you put more carbon fiber on the camp hell of it for a full carbon bike this is really cool so we were talking what are the odds he they were asking me what are the odds that this would stay on for a high-speed airstrip run today and I'm feeling a hundred percent confident now I'm telling you it took well in excess of 175 miles per hour and over ten hours and me doing well over a hundred to rip off the ski box and keep in mind the ski box ripped off not not the C suckers it was the little flimsy plastic cab so let's have a look at what's holding this on what are the odds I think I think honestly you need to do you need to do a run you need to do a run we're gonna film it you're gonna do one run and we'll have our own world record the first McLaren to do two hundred-plus with bikes on the roof dude probably is Shawn in the house look we're in the clear Vancouver looking good what the 458 Spyder and of course now the Spiker the Spiker has been an amazing little drive back into downtown Vancouver which we've just arrived at again Craig stone you put it on an amazing event my man diamond rally 2019 huge success had a blast racists in against a helicopter but you know what this logs going to come to an end and I'm gonna take YPO wife he's been an amazing copilot all day just
