Qualities of a Prophetic Person

Resurrection Sunday was crazy cool not knock who's there ether ether who ether bunny I don't know why I just thought of that you know when Ben was 3 he thought our 5 or I think he's like 19 he thought that was the funniest thing you've ever heard in his life yes I'm just want to say a great big thank you to everybody that came out and joined us over the weekend it was incredible we had just under 3000 people join us here and the Spirit of God was here in such a great way and I'm so grateful so many testimonies so many salvations so many healings so many new beginnings absolutely absolutely stoked about the tribe and what God is doing here now guys what we do on prophetic Wednesdays is I will bring either a prophetic word or I will teach upon prophetic things and I haven't done anything like this in a long time and I want to share with you part of my school of prophecy now school of prophecy is something that I offer to all of my partners at Troy Bertie V people who helped me save there right now and I want to give you a little bit of some of the stuff that I teach on whenever I teach on you know I want to just say this to you I think God for people who who broke ground years ago I know that whenever grahamcooke first started teaching his prophecy everybody's like you don't teach prophecy either either you're a prophet or you're not a prophet and that's just baloney that's just baloney this is a skill set these are gifts that must be practiced or exercised as the Bible talks about these are things that must be developed everything that is prophetic must be developed amen I want to say that again everything that is prophetic must be developed whether it's the gift or the understanding right on or the way that you present it or the way that you demonstrate it these are gifts my friends that must be developed today guys are gonna be talking to you about the qualities of prophetic people because if you're gonna live a prophetic lifestyle there's going to be certain qualities and certain values that you're gonna have to constantly hone in on you're gonna have to constantly blow those things up and make those things bigger and bigger and bigger and I have a whole bunch of the qualities of prophetic people that I'm bringing in my school prophecy but you know what today guys I want to talk to you about practicing the presence of God yeah practicing the presence of God the presence of God and being aware of the presence of God is something that prophetic people do in an extraordinary way they know how to practice the presence of God so well God's every word yes God is everywhere but God has not manifest everywhere and God is not being cooperated with everywhere and God is not being partnered with everywhere it's one of the reasons why religious people cannot answer why is there evil if God is good and it's the lack of partnership is what it is it's the lack of submission it's the lack of his kingdom come even though his presence is here when his presence has made manifest that means his kingdom has come amen my friends I promise you the sky is not falling the kingdom is coming a man that's a prophetic phrase that God gave me two years ago and it's something that I say often but practicing the presence of God has to do with cultivating an awareness of God and I have to be more aware of God's presence and more aware of what God is excited about then I'm aware of the bills I have to pay the the measure of depths of darkness that we are involved in with all these girls that are literally slaves all over the world you don't want I know their stories I see their faces my heart breaks over them but I refused amplify and magnify evil and that's something I want to tell you you cannot be making a big deal about God if you're making a big deal out of evil you the Bible says oh magnify the Lord you know what it means to magnify something makes it blow it up it means to go from a size 12 font to a size 3,000 font boom you know it goes you go too big letter addition whenever you magnify something I want I promise you friends that that prophetic people are people who learn to magnify the Lord they learn to make a big deal out of anything that God is doing they do not make a big deal out of evil that's why you need to be careful about how much news you let into your life because I was talking last week about different leavens and one of the leavens that God says that we need to avoid that Jesus says make sure that this 11:00 is not in your house is the leaven of Herod and the leaven of Herod is a political agenda that does not have the kingdom in it you know you I have a lot of friends that they're all about you know things that I'm all about listen I am all about freedom I am a freedom fanatic and I can't stand it that there's so many people that were actually protest please let us give up our freedom please like Oh what fools oh my gosh they're so deceived no no no no no you don't understand and maybe maybe some of them actually do understand they're just I don't know they're just bad messed up but I want to tell you I am NOT gonna sit around 24 hours a day getting as much news from you know Fox News are the NRA or any of that kind of stuff by the way I love the NRA I'm not against the NRA I go NRA god bless you guys but but I'm not somebody who's like I need to know every single thing about no no listen I need to know what the Spirit the Lord is doing with me I need to know what what am i no need to do what is the Spirit of God bringing to me what am I paying attention to how do I practice the Spirit of God the Bible says that if we acknowledge him in all of our ways then he will begin to direct our steps that acknowledging him it it it literally means to have an intimate encounter with him that's what the word acknowledge him in all of your ways actually means you we know that there's two other parts that also precede that but what's real is man know the presence of God I got to know what God's happy about I got to know what the joy the Lord is as soon as I wake up every single day that I wake up I wake up with a song I the Lord started doing that with me like 20 years ago sometimes I wake up with the praise and sometimes I wake up even with a secular song I'll be singing some silly sentence secular song and you know what the presence of God is in that and I'm like okay Lord it's kind of like the morning theme as I begin to seek the Lord I'm like okay alright Holy Spirit Here I am good morning I've got zoo breath I need to go brush my teeth and I'm already aware of the presence of the Lord if you're gonna be a prophetic person you're gonna have to be much more aware of the presence of God than you are of anything else and you're constantly constantly constantly seeking the Lord constantly I love that we have to cultivate an awareness we have to talk to him throughout the day we have to ask him for guidance grace and whatever else that we need we have to thank him we had to praise Him we have to glorify Him and we have to do these things in our heart we had to do these things that our mind we do these things vocally we think of him before we take a step before you open your mouth you man you let him shape your thoughts man this is what it means to be aware of the presence of God you know David was expressing how he had learned to live in the manifest presence of the Lord when he said in Psalms 139 verse 7 he said he said where can I go from your spirit where can I flee from your presence you know what Liana and I sat down on Monday night we fought down in front of the television and we started watching this silly show what was it I know it was it was how the lottery changed my life and boom the spear of the Lord jumped all over that and Lyanna and I ended up talking about it all night long the next morning we got up we talked about it my staff maining my staff meeting was based upon the whole thing of of the principles that we'd actually learned in that in other words I can't even watch a silly lotto show without the Spirit of the Lord being there right that I'm aware is all you need to pay attention and say Detroit my presence is in this hey Troy I need you to know this I need you to know that all right well here's the deal you cannot practice the current presence of God when you're constantly reliving the hurts of the past that's correct you cannot practice the current presence of God when you're constantly reliving the of your pass guys hurt people hurt people and I want you to know that the picture of a cursed life in the Bible is that of a wound that will not heal numbers chapter 3 verse 19 says nothing can heal your wound because your injury is fatal what is that talking about it's talking about it's a picture of permanent destruction listen prophetic people do not have open wounds but they still have scars okay keep your scars get rid of your wounds Amen Jesus keeps his scars why because he's an overcomer he overcame the cross right on and he keeps his scars you know he get he is a glorified body and he can look like anything he wants to look like he can do anything he wants to do but he keeps his scars why is that because he's a warrior yeah yeah he's a warrior friend I want to encourage you to practice the presence of God Psalms 147 says he heals the brokenhearted and he binds up their wounds hey prophetic person do you know Jesus like that where you say Lord I still have this wound I still have this open wound within my life the Bible says he binds up your wounds he becomes your supernatural stitches that's what it is that he does for anyone I encourage you today to be so aware of the presence of God and don't be afraid to practice the power of closure amen practice the power of coat of closure so that you can practice the presence of God dude that is a big deal looking unto Jesus the author and the what the finisher of our faith see if you're not gonna ever allow closure you're not gonna ever allow a new beginning I'll say it one more time if you do not allow closure you will not allow a new beginning and I love that I'm gonna close and just say this that you need to learn how to operate in the gift of goodbye in some things prophetic people learn hey that was then this is now and I'm going to change my my wineskin for the new flow of the wine that is flowing within my own life prophetic people learn the gift of goodbye amen well you know what I'm gonna close on this and just tell you that that when I think about the presence of the Lord within my life is sent since I am a prophetic person I'm constantly thinking about the president got there is nothing more scary there for somebody to show up in my life and I have no anointing for them I have no grace for them I have no you know to be somebody show up sometimes men from the other side of the world come all the way over here because they watch me or they listen to me or then they'll show up and they're like pest Troy I've always wanted to meet you man I've always wanted to do this and I'm just letting go I have no anointing for this guy all I have is me yeah right on what you and I have to offer that is so special and so absolutely amazing it's how we carry the presence of the Lord friend you are so important to King Jesus you are so important to him and how you carry the presence of God I'll tell you this you cannot be too aware of Jesus within your life you just can't man you can be too churchy you can be too religious you can be too right-wing you can be too left-wing you can be too political you can be too whatever but you cannot have too much Jesus amen okay that's all the time that I have for today it's today's prophetic Wednesday that you are going to sent since you are a prophetic person you're going to be constantly aware of the presence of God within your life hey let's me and you make our hearts available to him right now in a whole new way King Jesus I want to pray Lord God Almighty in the name of Jesus for a higher prophetic value for your voice upon our lives and a higher prophetic awareness of your presence within our lives or God Father I pray in the mighty name of King Jesus god that we'd be much more aware of your goodness than we are of any form of evil God that would be much more aware of our destinies more than we are of our past and God that we'd be much more aware of how you love us instead of our critics and and all of our haters I love you Lord and I praise you father God sir we want to make our hearts available to you in a whole new way Lord a whole new way father I want to I want to lift up every single person that is joining me live online right now and also in the future that's actually watching this I called them blessed and I thank you Lord God Almighty sir for a greater prophetic awareness of your presence God that you grow us in the qualities of prophetic people in Jesus name Amen all right guys justice and for protection and like here's a good example of this hang on saying I turn 50 and somebody turned out the lights okay here we go for just as a protection the poor cried and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all of his troubles you are Jehovah you are the Lord of Hosts you are my protector you are my battle for me that's first Samuel 1:3 I pray Psalms 19:1 supernatural hedge of protection and on it goes actual prayers and scriptures on this side and then a declaration on this side again this one is for justice and for protection I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper I declare God that you are my strong tower I declare an all of that that's what these are we've got one in here for I don't know we got we have eight of these these are now available at
