QATAR 5-STAR HOTEL COMPARISON: Staying in Doha’s most luxurious Marriott hotels

[Music] hello and welcome from sunny Doha today we're about to split off and go to three different hotels they are all Maria properties all at the higher end I'm staying at the shark village of ritz-carlton hotel I'm staying at us and Regis I'm staying at the W Hotel I think John's gonna have a bit of party time by the time and we're gonna split up now we're gonna see what these three hotels are like against each other Marriott [Music] welcome to the shark village and spa ritz-carlton hotel and one of the Marriott properties in Doha Qatar I'm gonna show you around this place all the rooms in the hotels are set up in different villas like this and this is my Villa villa number 6 [Music] welcome to my room this is a deluxe room at the shark village and spa right first things first let's test this bed oh my god it's actually so so comfortable it's a four-poster bed these sheets are impossibly soft there's actually a down comforter underneath the bottom sheet amazing I stayed in Ritz Carlton beds before and I actually think they're some of the best beds out there at least for me to my taste so big win on the bed let's see what else for you is this little sitting area a desk or messy with all of my charging stuff one fantastic thing about the room is I have a balcony with a lovely and actually the balcony even has a seating area here which is really nice because out relaxing some and watch the world go by [Music] alright so this is my room I did W Hotel in Doha nice bed a bit hard super lodge nice little bar all this stuff by the way it's not free it's quite nice a little bit around what is this each for this what I mean by a party boys mini bar nice so very expensive so I'm not gonna have it here we have one very big wardrobe like a fit to me and here Percy Percy Kangas that's a lot hey guys liam here from TP guk and this is the Sun Regis Hotel Doha let me show you around [Music] welcome to the room at 436 Atlas introduced oh ha let me give you a little tour of my hotel room so as you can see here I've got my nice big white bed which is very comfy we've got one two three four pillows all of which are plush big heavy you know filled proper perfect for a good night's sleep in one corner of the room you've got this nice big sofa which is perfect for kicking back relaxing along with this lovely rose and dates which were compliments from the hotel lovely the room also comes equipped with a bed facing TV kind of small but not bad over in this corner of the room you've got your nice big table your workstation perfect for getting a laptop out and just doing a little bit of work you also got your room service phone here where you can order food coffee booking a massage from the spa facility so it all really handy stuff much better follow me so here we are inside my nice big bathroom let me show you around so down here you've got a nice spacious bath you've even got a mirror that turns it into a TV so you can kick back get some bubbles going and watch TV here is the bathroom made this kind of wonky angle so I can fit more in but there is what a toilet maybe you can't see that and you can see it now toilet feed a sink shower and a bath in here and finally not bad for one anyway welcome to the shark village and spa a ritz-carlton hotel [Music] gorgeous blue water tiny little islands or palm trees in the middle beds everywhere loads of space beautiful place to sit in the Sun it's even got beautiful beach look at this a 350 meter private coastline with a beach and all sorts of little things like football posts out in the sea and a volleyball court and also the pesto resistance a 6,500 square metre spa facility this entire building is the spa [Music] [Music] one very cool thing I've discovered this is the balcony the dog restaurant the pool is right down there but right behind me are these little pots and inside it's like a private little shisha smoking dining room with lovely views of the pool this is so cool [Music] [Music] and this behind me is a simple not massive because I think this place is not really like a resort you know there you can walk around and different buildings it's one building quite tall maybe 12 floors and this is the outdoor the pools for just over there there's another bar over here this is the gym very clean pretty big types and compact but otherwise good I think much nicer than the gym it's what I'm about to check out now the changes places clothes is really cool I would just say like loud in life through the people never have to come back one day [Music] so for me the coolest thing about its hotel the thing that really makes it stand out is the fact that it has its own private beach where you can come down order from the restaurant relax your own see in front of you your own sand which on a day like today is absolutely spectacular [Music] now mr. Regis toheart also features a spa room and a beauty salon unfortunately the beauty salon is only available for women which is a shame as I could really use it off your workout you come and relax in the baking hot [Applause] [Music] [Music] everybody loves the club sandwich especially me and I've just got back from the gym and I'm gonna order room service pull the short of some room service please hey I order some room service please are you please order a club sandwich please could I get the Sabritas club sandwich the pappardelle do you have a fresh orange juice and no Nugent's thank you all right close to a ginger ale as well please thanks Cheers oh thanks so much right thanks very much okay thank you thank you let's see how long it takes right they said 25 minutes it's gonna be that punchy I think that's very quick room service I better get in the shower quickly I'm sweaty from the gym I'm gonna get changed and hopefully I'll be here in 25 minutes let's go [Music] that's the doorbell it's been 16 minutes and I'm in my dressing gown if this is it we very impressed hello good evening please come in please very very quick indeed hi good evening just anywhere here is perfect thank you I do have a nice evening it took 28 minutes from order to delivering so pretty good pretty good time for the service it looks really good presented really nicely right so this is room service took really long actually about 40 minutes a very delicious what looks beautiful [Music] I will give this overall including thinking about the price fifteen quid for room service a big hefty meal is not bad and the fact that I came in under 20 minutes it's a day out there [Music] so what do I think in this place the W Hotel in Doha is the place to go if you want something different so guys that was room 436 Atlas and Regis Hotel in Doha first up the bedroom really nice a little bit dated but here you're gonna have design and fashion but passes all the tests and the bed is incredibly comfortable the bathroom a particular feels really nice and luxurious the public spaces here are to die for grand huge the two pools are amazing the long stretch of beach is brilliant as well the dance side it doesn't really have much space outdoors there's the boys pretty small and there isn't really anywhere else to go in terms of you from the hotel room you've got Beach you've got the sea you've got these skyscrapers in the distance my room doesn't really face anything nice and that was my room at the shark village and Spa thank you for joining me [Music]
