Eurostar vs British Airways: Racing from London to Paris

[Applause] [Music] hey Queenie how has another Queen humble okay are you ready I'm ready [Music] we are outside Buckingham Palace is 10 to 11 and today Sean and I along with Liam are going to be racing to Paris Buckingham Palace to the Eiffel Tower plane vs. train who is going to win I'm ready I think it's time time [Music] Sean you cannot get a lift I've time to go faster so I've left [ __ ] impalas left Sean behind and now I'm heading up to Green Park station so my plan is to take the tube from Green Park to Paddington Station where I'm going to take their leader Xpress smooth we gotta get in the sky Green Park station to Sun Bank rests on the Victoria Line that should be pretty easy and then get the Eurostar from that to regulate the service delayed very hard on the Victoria Line illegitimate ridiculous way we're stuck because the signalling problem is five-minute today problems on the Victoria Line I'm gonna change to the Picatinny line and it'll be faster [Music] we Paddington Station now top tip for you you can now use contactless to pay the Heathrow Express and go straight through the barrier pretty significant actually so the fact that were in a rush it makes quite a big difference that I can just run straight through these barriers to straight on to the next train this is a business class lounge time for this [Music] the business lounge is for business course passengers or if you have a question an American Express card which is my keys because I am will go in economy standard cheap but because I have American Express person I have access to okay so on the Heathrow Express now let's talk about shoes because I could have brought you that she would have cost just over three pounds for the whole journey and this option costs about twenty clear palaces 22 quiver poppy ticket just 21 minutes from Paddington to Heathrow and Peter Express which is very spacious lots of legroom Wi-Fi they show the TV it's just a very nice pleasant place to be especially in the summer when the tube is very hot [Music] welcome to some bankers international this is my Eurostar train the 1224 to paris and go [Music] [Music] I just love trains the none of this Airport bureaucracy and like fasten seat belts and stuff like that I mean I love flying but train is so nice being at Heathrow especially Terminal five so fresh and large and clean and nice it's an exciting place to be but we've got about an hour till our plane departs and if get cracking I have British Airways gold status which means we can use the first-class wing and the first-class lounge so adds an extra nice touch to this experience you can learn how to get status to a British Airways on the points of our UK - because that's what could give you actually this the security lines might be quite long further down the terminal we're going to have a private security line where we're probably not gonna have to queue at all good for a race okay we're in galleries first lounge don't have very long it's 12:30 I am moving pretty fast already and I don't know how thick Indian doing but I think I'm gonna win this race we are approaching the gate so there's quite a few people at the gate but we're going to take the priority lane number one there where there's no queue and we can just board straightaway happy days I'm crossing the English Channel man so Eurostar has but within the euros within the English Channel is reduced to 160 girls per hour for safety reasons so we actually running almost half of the top speed of the Eurostar right now but that's part of the schedule that's fine and I am still way ahead of Nikki pretty much halfway through Paris now and they haven't even motive we get some [ __ ] [Applause] that's why we might be departing early and the flight time is going to be a quick 40 minutes [Music] this is very weird we literally stopped [Music] [Music] we have just taken off we've also just heard from Sean who got stuck in the English Channel no one is in French territory we are definitely not there a bit quick we also left on time I think we're gonna balance running Minnesota schedule race is really on now okay we are running again that was the longest 15 minutes ever we literally stopped in the mirror the English Channel for 15 minutes and nothing happened the only announcement was that we stopped the train but actually they didn't say why we love the train but I need to be moving now is that parents of incoming France [Music] [Applause] okay we're in Paris we love it early it is now 2:35 actually French time 2:35 we need to hotfoot it now get through passport control Jean will have done that already London but we have to do it now get out of the airport and taxi as soon as we possibly can it's free 15 garden or and five minutes behind the schedule also not too bad but I think the boys are right on their way to the Eiffel Tower I don't have tickets for the train well I've even achieved and get taxi toy felt we are fifty minutes away but we just heard from so close what do you want stopwatch are here here's one okay I think we might done actually crossing we are pairing it there it is we have I'm here before the boys although here being here for okay we made it to the Eiffel Tower we are here in Paris and the winner [Applause] yeah trainee was everything okay up until the channel we got I got stuck there for 15 minutes for no reason or they didn't tell me the reason so it was very unlucky for that everything else great was fast to get to the train then regarded noise to be exposed here I managed to be getting to the business class lounge using your MX platinum right I'm explosion yeah was fun we had a very smooth journey so we beat you by about ten minutes so your delay probably was the clincher actually there and we had a particularly efficient journey so journey to he grows okay we left on time we landed early there was no queues immigration and the car but there was not much traffic that was the key bit I think have we been held up went through security in Paris that's where I thought we could lose it but that was just literally straight through and yeah here we are now one thing is for sure there is no very clear distinct winner here and little changes in schedules and problems with road rail taxi whatever it's gonna mean the difference between being quicker or not loser yeah all right let's go see some a parrot whoo one more thing please subscribe to our YouTube channel and like this video leave a comment and thumbs up [Music]
