I can't even explain you how excited I am to see Doha幸运的是这个航班不会飞太久，我无法形容我现在有多激动，马上就要到多哈了！ It is 5 p.m. And I finally made it to Doha the flight was actually really good现在是当地时间下午5点，我终于到多哈了，航班非常顺利。 I don't know if it's because I'm so excited and like positive about everything or if this light was just like actually good我不知道是因为我太激动了然后觉得一切都很好，还是因为航班真的很顺利。 I don't know but super excited我也不知道，但是真的很激动！ So now I just have to get my luggage and then what do I have to do that?所以现在我需要取到我的行李然后干嘛呢？ And then I just have to get taxi and go to my hotel. Why is it so empty?然后打个车去酒店。为什么这什么都没有？ Literally like my biggest travel fear is事实上旅行期间我最害怕的事情就是 Not getting my luggage. That's also why I travel with this freaking huge backpack because I have all like my necessary in this bag行李找不到了，这也就是为什么我经常背这么一个超级大的背包，因为我所有的生活必需品都在这里。 So like I have my swimsuit, I have a set of clothes for like warm weather my toiletries例如我的泳衣，还有夏天的衣服，个人洗护用品。 So like I mean, I hope it's not gonna happen. But if my luggage is not gonna make it I can still live所以我当然希望这不会发生，但是如果我真的找不到我的行李了，我还是可以活~ For a little bit. There it is. I一段时间的~行李找到啦！ Got a cap and I'm on the way to the hotel now and I must say just logging this刚打到车了，现在在去酒店的路上。我在录视频（司机以为我在跟他说话~） Hi Okay, which floor am I 20th floor搞定，我的房间在20楼。 I'm gonna give you a quick room tour. So there is a buff room on the left赶快来看看我的房间，一进门左边是卫生间。 Left up浴缸 Let's continue the journey and this is D room继续往房间里走 there are two baths here, which I don't need but what else I cannot be bothered to tell them and房间里有两张床，其实我并不需要，但是这点小事，我就不麻烦酒店工作人员了。 the beautiful view窗外的美景！ So I am flying to Bali on Monday but since my flight my connecting flight was here in Doha其实我周一要飞往巴厘岛，但是我要在多哈中转 I was flying from Warsaw to Doha and then from Doha to Bali I figured that I can as well我从华沙飞往多哈，然后再飞巴厘岛，所以我觉得可以 Stay in Doha for two days and see see the city. So basically plan for today. It's already pretty late是一个超级大的折扣！今天虽然很晚了 So I'm just gonna go to a mole. There is a mole connected to my hotel 要去一个商场，我住的酒店旁边就有一个商场 So I'm just gonna go and grab some food there and then try to go to bed early probably 我就去那吃点东西然后早点回来休息 Pop by the pool because there isn't very nice here 去泳池看看，因为这有一个超棒的泳池！ And then the plan is to wake up and sunset tomorrow 争取在日出的时候起床~ Yeah, like as soon as I said it I was like that's that's that's a little bit too ambitious for me 好吧，这句话刚说出口，我就觉得不太现实。 I'm basically not其实我不是 I mean, I wouldn't say I'm not a morning person, but I have a hard time getting up in the morning 我不能说我不是一个习惯早起的人，但是早起对我来说挺难的。 Which I guess means that I'm not a morning person 好吧，我承认我不是一个喜欢早起的人。 Anyways, the plan is to wake up really early and see as much as I can of Doha in one day 计划是尽量早点起，然后在一天以内尽可能的把多哈玩一遍。 There's an ice skating ring 这有一个溜冰场 Good morning, so I was supposed to start the day bright and early 早安！我本应该早点起的 I mean it is still bright and early, but I was supposed to head out as soon as I wake up 其实还是挺早的，我本来希望一睁眼就准备出门。 But that didn't happen because I mean fuck it. I'm traveling it alone and I could do whatever I want I 但是没有实现，不过，管他呢，反正我一个人出来玩，我的世界我做主！ Decided to come to the pool for a quick dip because the school is just too good 我决定到泳池来涮一下，因为这个泳池真的超级赞！ It's just too good to not not dip in it. Okay, that's just look at this. Look at this 让人无法抗拒，你们看看这泳池！ Just want to quickly show you what I'm wearing so I am 想让你们看看我今天穿什么 Well wearing what you can see right here. And then I also have a hat because it is freaking hot outside 我的装备全在这了，还要戴一个帽子，因为这太热了。 I am finally out I made it I made it 终于出门了！ Oh my god, you know for a second I was like, oh my god 我天！ I shouldn't go out with wet hair and then I used my brain and I was like it doesn't matter anymore because it's summer 我一开始觉得我要把头发吹干了再出门，但是后来我想了想，无所谓啦，反正是夏天。 It's always so funny when you go from cold to hot 有时候我们从冷的地方突然到了热的地方 like a part of you your brain just cannot get it at the outer part of your brain is like what is winter even just 就感觉我们的脑子一时半会儿转不过来 Take a look at what I see in front of my eyes 快看看我眼前的是什么 That is unreal 太不可思议了！ Before we jump into the vlog let him tell you a couple of quick facts about Katara Katara is a very small country 在继续我的旅程之前，让我来跟你们聊聊关于卡塔尔的一些事情，卡塔尔是一个 located in the Persian Gulf with only位于波斯湾的很小的国家 2.8 million citizens and 人口只有280万 Approximately 88% of Qatar's population are foreigners 在卡塔尔大约88%的人是外国人 Qatar is considered the richest country in the world with a per capita GDP of 卡塔尔是世界上最富有的国家 $132,000 人均GDP13.2万美金 there's no force in Qatar and it's the second was flat country on the 卡塔尔国内没有森林，而且是世界上第二平坦的国家。 After the Maldives with an average elevation of 28 meters 仅次于马尔代夫，平均海拔只有28米。 The capital and the biggest city in Qatar is Doha and the city is well known for its futuristic skyline 多哈是卡塔尔的首都以及第一大城市，这个城市以她满是高楼大厦的天际线而闻名 Which by debate is? Absolutely mind-blowing. I literally cannot click on real. How is that even real? 这简直是令人震惊。这怎么可能是真的呢？ But Doha is definitely not all about the skyscrapers 但是多哈不仅仅只有摩天大楼。 There is also a whole different site to Doha like the old 多哈还有她的另一面 Historical part of the city or you can explore the more traditional site of Qatar 比如多哈老城，让你可以发现传统的卡塔尔。 this is Absolutely unreal, I cannot believe that I'm here. Oh my god, sorry for the excitement level, but I just I don't know 这真的是不可思议，我不敢相信我在这里，我太激动了，不好意思让大家见笑了。 I'm just so happy right now. Looks like I will be the only person walking around Doha today because it is freaking empathy 我现在太高兴了，看起来我是唯一一个在路上走的人。 I Just don't think it's the place where people really walk I would imagine they just all drive also because gas is really cheap here 我觉得这的人应该不在街上溜达，还有可能是因为这的油特别便宜。 So obviously even though Qatar it's a very modern country at the same time. It is still quite conservative and 尽管卡塔尔是一个很现代化的国家，但是也有她很保守的一面。 locals do cover up 本地人包的还是很严的 So I think as a tourist visiting any country, really you should adopt to the country's customs 所以我认为作为一个游客，无论去哪里都要尊重当地的习俗。 Also, if you are coming to Qatar during winter, it is not that bad 其实如果你冬天来卡塔尔也不错。 The weather right now is around 23 Celsius degrees. The only thing is that the Sun is just really strong 现在的气温是23度，阳光很足。 So it's not super hot. It's just 不是热到受不了 Yeah, it's just pretty hard 但是也够热的 This is that crazy round building that I was like 这是那个圆圆的建筑 Obsessing about into hog hobbyist and I can see the freaking round building from here 我昨晚在热水池里泡的时候痴迷的那个。“我从这可以看到那个特别圆的建筑！” The first stop off today is gonna be the corny trip promenades 今天的第一站是The Corniche Promenade（滨海大道） Sorry, if I'm mispronouncing it, the corny tree promenade is basically f5 kilometer 如果我发音不标准，不要怪我。这个Corniche Promenade 是一个5公里长的 Coastal promenade that connects the new part of the city where we are right now 链接城市两端的沿海大道 This is like that business part the financial center 一边是金融中心 And then on the other side of the bay, we've got the old part of the city 一边是多哈的老城 Whoa, look at the color of this water. It's just like the light blue 这海水的颜色是浅蓝色的 I was even considering doing this whole distance 我本来考虑走完整个的沿海大道 It is five kilometers, but I already gave up this plan a long time ago 一共5公里，我很早就已经决定放弃了~ I'm definitely not walking five kilometers in this heat. I'm just gonna walk for a little bit and then I'm gonna try to get over 我肯定不会在这么热的天走5公里。我先走一会儿，然后打一个优步。 This is already like the best day I had for a while I'm just so happy this place is so 很久以来这是我最开心的一天 Put there Duquette weak. This place is just so beautiful. And you know, I actually like the fact that I'm alone 这里太美了，而且我很享受一个人的旅行。 obviously, it's not I like to travel with friends and family, but 即便我也很喜欢和家人朋友一起旅行 Sometimes it's also nice to be alone and just like be with your own thoughts and do whatever you want 但是有时候一个人待着也挺好的，做自己想做的事情。 you know stop as much as you want and just 想停下来的时候就停下来 like Fully be in the moment because I think some things if you're traveling with someone 充分享受每一分每一秒，因为有时候和别人一起旅行 You're obviously going to talk and it's just a different experience, which is obviously a great experience as well 你肯定要和别人说话，会有很不一样的经历， 当然也应该是不错的 But sometimes when you're alone 但是有时候当你一个人旅行的时候 You're more in the moment because you don't really have anyone to talk to 你会更享受这个时刻，因为没有其他人和你说话。 I've noticed that when I travel alone 我注意到当我一个人旅行的时候 I often tend to notice more around me and I just tend to like appreciate things even more 我会经常注意到更多的细节，而且我会欣赏到更多的东西。 So I just ordered uber and my over should be here in like three minutes and I'm gonna go to the old part of Doha 我刚叫了一个优步，估计还有3分钟就到，然后我会去多哈的老城区 to finally eat 终于可以去吃点东西了 I haven't eaten anything yet today, but I'm just like so excited that I'm not even hungry to be honest 说实话我今天还一点东西都没吃呢，但是因为太兴奋了，所以也不觉得饿。 But I'm going to this traditional Qatari restaurant 我现在去一个卡塔尔传统的餐厅 I've been told that uber is a very safe and a very convenient way to 我听说在多哈优步是一个非常安全而且方便的交通工具。 Travel around Doha and it is also fine. If you are a solo traveler. Hey, is that my uber? 对于独自旅行的人来说也是。好像是我的车来了。 Yes, that is my 就是我叫的优步 Thank you 谢谢 So we made it to the old town and I already got a little distracted by all these pretty things you can buy here 一到多哈的老城我就被这些好看的商品吸引了。 Definitely a good place for shopping and now I have to find the restaurant because I am starving 这绝对是一个购物的好地方，但是我要先找家餐厅，因为我太饿了。 bowling starving 饿死我了！ This is the place I was looking for and that was a little tricky to find but hopefully it was worth it 好不容易找到了这个餐馆，希望不虚此行。 It's a change of plans a duck place didn't have anything that was not meat 计划赶不上变化，这个餐厅的菜全是荤的，没有素的。 So I'm not gonna answer. But yeah, I have to find somewhere else 所以我要换个地方了 It's like this is a thing here where they have these small station on babe repair watches just really cute 这里的一个特色是这些修手表的小摊，挺可爱的。 I've never seen anything like that before 我从来没见过这个 Try out this place because I read about it on internet as well 来试试这家店吧，因为我在网上看到过。 I think it is very oh my god. It is so beautiful sold 这里面太美了，就这了！ I'm about to have lunch and it is a little bit of a fail because this is not a traditional, Kentucky restaurant 马上就要上菜了，但是我觉得有点失误，因为这不是一家传统的卡塔尔餐厅。 I'm having lunch at a Persian restaurant. But to be fair. I was just getting too tired 我在的这家是一个波斯风格的餐厅，但是说实话我太累了，就不动了。 I was getting a little too hot and I just couldn't be bothered to search for more 天气也太热了，我懒得再找其他地方了。 The other place I went to was really nice 刚才那个餐厅其实也很好 But then all the dishes were with me 但是他们只有肉菜 And I don't want to eat meat so gonna be the laborer who eats Persian food in Qatar, but to be honest 我不想吃肉，所以要在卡塔尔吃波斯风味的餐厅了。 I'm also completely fine with being in this place because it is so frickin beautiful 我觉得这地方真的挺好的，因为真的太漂亮了！ So this is what I'm having for lunch some eggplant with egg and then this is like a homemade yogurt with spices 这是我点的东西，一些茄子和鸡蛋，还有自制酸奶和一些调料 And then some veggies and cheese and bread so I fed it heard of 以及一些蔬菜和奶酪，还有就是馕饼，我很期待这个馕。 Just look at this, what is this even 快看看这个，这太美了！ The food was so good 这的吃的非常棒 I very highly recommend this restaurant 我强烈推荐这家餐厅 Especially if you're looking for vegetarian options because they had plenty my eggplant dish was so good 特别是如果你吃素的话，这家店有很多选择，我点的那个茄子真的超赞。 And now I'm gonna head down to the coast and I'm gonna check out the famous pearl monument 现在我要去海边，去看看著名的 Pearl Monument （珍珠纪念碑） Also if I can find it I will I will check out some camels that is not a confirmed information though 还有如果路上能看到一些骆驼就更好了，不过我也不确定能不能看到。 I just like Google stuff to do in this area again 我就随便搜了一下这附近有什么 I mean I've done that before but I just like did that again just to make sure I'm not missing on anything and 我一般到一个地方都会这样搜索一下，不想错过什么。 Apparently there is a place here where there are comments, but we'll see about that one thing 这里应该有个地方有骆驼，所以我们来看看。 I must say is that oh my God, all these pigeons are attacking me. Okay, they're not those alarm one thing 这些鸽子好像朝我飞过来准备攻击我！等会儿~好像也不是。 I must say is that Doha is so clean and there's so many people on the street cleaning the street 说实话多哈真的太干净了，很多人在清理街道。 Yes, I don't really know what's the aim of 我其实不太明白 Coming here. We're obviously in the middle of the city 为什么骆驼会在城市里 I don't know they're being used to something but then when I came close eros 我不知道它们在这是干什么。当我走近看它们的时候， It was actually said as it always is with animals to be honest as it always is when they're not in the wild 感觉动物不在大自然里的时候挺可怜的 They're tied up 它们被拴住了 Which I guess makes sense that huge animals like that are not just like really 不过它们这么大，在城市里拴住它们也有道理。 Walking around my first reaction to seeing animals is always like being excited about seeing them 每次我一看到动物都很激动 But then it always ends up being a little like wait a second like they probably shouldn't be here. I 但是看了一会儿就觉得它们很可怜，感觉它们不属于这里。 Did it I made it to the famous 我终于到了~这个著名的~珍珠，这还是值得一来的。 Door but so the reason why this thing is famous, it's still back in the days actually 这里有名的原因是因为在很久以前 Majority of Qataris used to live off fish and girls fishing pearls. Is that how you call it? 很多卡塔尔人都以钓珍珠为生。珍珠是钓的吧？ So in general there are definitely not many tours here 一般来说没有很多游客来这里 There are some tourists but not that many 会有一些游客，但不是很多。 I've been approached a couple of times by people selling like boat tours 有些人向我贩售乘坐游船之类的。 Or I don't know what they sell but I must say as soon as you like wave your head and you say politely no 或者我也不知道他们在卖什么，但是我只要一旦向他们摇摇头或者礼貌性的拒绝他们 Thank you. They they leave right away. They're not 然后他们就会走开 What's the word like they're respectful? 他们还是很尊重你的选择的 If you say no that they're just gonna leave they're not gonna try to convince you to buy their boat or whatever 如果你说不要，他们就会走开，绝对不会强求你购买他们的服务或者什么的。 So if you are into art 如果你对艺术感兴趣 This is definitely a must-see in Qatar because apparently this museum holds not only the best collection of Islamic art in 你来卡塔尔绝对要来这里看看，这个博物馆不但有卡塔尔伊斯兰艺术最好的藏品， Qatar but also in the entire world and it was designed by a very famous 这些东西也是享誉世界的， 而且是由著名设计师 Chinese 美籍华人（贝聿铭） American architect the same one who designed the pyramids the glass pyramids in front of louver in Paris 设计的，他还设计了巴黎卢浮宫前面的那个玻璃金字塔。 I Don't know I thought a thing is kind of funny look at the description here bucket top 我不知道这是什么，但是看起来很有意思，来看看这底下的介绍，~水桶~ Well, it is a bucket very pretty bucket 好吧，就是一个水桶，非常漂亮的水桶。 So I made it to probably the last stop of the day the pearl 我到了今天的最后一站 “The Pearl” （卡塔尔之珠） Okay, so I thought this would be more of like 我感觉这个更像是 Yeah, I actually don't know what I thought it would be like, but basically it is just a residential area 我也说不上来，但是基本上就是一个居民区， But it is a very cool residential area 但是是一个很酷的居民区 I mean I can totally picture myself living here 80 percent of people I see here are foreigners 我觉得我完全可以住在这。我看到的80%的人都是外国人。 So I guess maybe this is like the place to live if you are a foreigner living in Doha 我感觉这就是多哈的一个外国人的聚集地 So I'm back in the hotel the day is over but it was such a good day 现在我回到酒店了，今天就这样结束了，但是今天真的很棒。 So I thought I will sit down and answer a couple of questions that people might have after watching this video 所以我觉得我要坐下来回答一下大家观看这个视频可能产生的问题。 So first of all, is it worth to travel to Doha? My answer would be yes 第一，是否值得来多哈，我的答案是肯定的。 100% you saw how excited I was today once a friend of mine are not really a friend of mine 百分百值得，你们看我今天有多兴奋就明白了，我有个朋友，其实也不算朋友， Whatever someone at work told me that he is Vindi Doha and he didn't like it 或者说就一个同事，跟我说他来过多哈，然后觉得他不喜欢。 Because it's just a desert and skyscrapers, but to be honest, I figured all depends on your attitude 因为他认为这里只有沙漠和大楼，但是我说实话，喜不喜欢这里取决于你的态度。 Yes there not as many 确实多哈这里没有很多 touristy things in Doha 旅游的景点 After our and let's say Paris, but for me doesn't mean that it's not worth to travel here 比如和巴黎这些地方比起来，但是我觉得不能说这里不值得来。 I mean for me the skyscrapers and the desert alone are a reason to travel to Qatar 对我来说，沙漠中的摩天大厦本身就是吸引我来卡塔尔的原因之一。 I mean, we don't have deserts and skyscrapers like that and worse off 至少在华沙我们没有沙漠和摩天大厦 So that is already something it really all depends on your attitude 所以说这已经是有些东西值得一看了。真的取决于你的态度。 Like you can totally just like hang out by the coast 你可以就在海边转转 Take a walk watch the skyline as I did you can sit down in a nice restaurant get yourself some traditional Qatari tea 看看天际线，就像我做的一样，或者你可以找一家餐厅坐下来，喝一杯卡塔尔传统的茶 I personally loved it and I already think that I would love to come back 我个人是很喜欢这里的，而且我很愿意再过来。 I think I will definitely come back to Qatar if I ever have a chance to 我肯定还会再来，如果我还有机会 Do another extended layover I 100% do it. Is it safe to travel to Qatar as a solo female traveler? 在这里转机，我肯定会这么做。单身女性来卡塔尔安全吗？ So that was probably the number one question I had even before I booked this trip. I 这可能是被问到最多的一个问题，即便在来之前 Googled it 我在网上搜了一下 I wanted to make sure that it will be okay for me to walk around the city 我想确定我可以一个人在城市里溜达 Alone after the day that I spent in Doha today 经过今天在多哈的经历 I would definitely feel that it's completely fine for women to just walk around alone here in Doha 我可以说女性完全可以单独在多哈的街道上走 At least I did not experience anything today. That would make me feel uncomfortable 今天没有经历任何让我感觉不舒服的事情 I saw a lot of local women and also a lot of foreign women walking around the city alone today 我看见很多本地的女性以及一些外国的女性游客在城市里单独出行 So I really don't think it's an issue here. As long as you're respectful as long as you cover up 我觉得这真的没设么问题，只要你尊重这里，而且不要过于暴露，就没问题了。 I think it's fine. How do you get around Doha? 在多哈如何出行？ The easiest way to get around are obviously taxis and uber uber is working really well here. I took both taxis today and uber 最简单的方式就是打出租车或者打优步，我今天都试过了。 But I must say uber is not really cheaper here 但是我觉得优步在这里并没有便宜多少。 I think uber and taxis are like literally the same the taxis are really easy to spot because they're all blue 我觉得优步和出租车在这是一样的，出租车很容易辨认，车身都是蓝色的。 So it's also really easy to see a taxi and finally it's Qatar expensive 所以很容易看到出租车。最后的问题是卡塔尔消费高吗？ So since Qatar is one of the richest countries on the planet, I would say hmm. That's a good question 因为卡塔尔是世界上最富有的国家之一，所以我觉得吧~这问题挺好的 So price-wise I would compare Qatar to a European city I spent 价格的话，我觉得跟欧洲城市差不多 50 euros today and that includes two overrides one taxi one lunch 我今天花了50欧元，包括叫了两个优步，一个出租车，还有一顿午餐 expensive lunch though because it was a very touristy area but whatever and 挺贵的午餐，因为是在一个旅游区。 A ticket to the Museum of Art so I still have to eat dinner though, but I'm just gonna go down to them 还有一个博物馆的门票，我还要吃晚饭呢，我就去楼下那个商场随便吃点吧。 Oh, I hope you enjoyed this video.
