POPBOB'S CASTLE (2b2t.org)

fit emcee anyone who is familiar with the history of the oldest anarchy server and minecraft knows the stories of pop Bob despite having such a silly name he was one of the most feared players of all time he was also one of the most misunderstood any time his name is found on an artifact or at an old base I take a cautious interest about one month ago I received a random message out of the blue from a player claiming they had discovered an old base that belonged to pop Bob they sent me a screenshot of what appeared to be a castle I was skeptical at first but upon examining the screenshot I didn't see any modern blocks in it and the style looks similar to some of pop Bob's previous builds so I asked for coordinates but of course this is 2 B 2 T so there was a catch he agreed to give me coordinates allow me to tour the base and take a world download in exchange I would have to film in griefing the base it's been five years since pop Bob got his only kill on me I was fishing and I wasn't prepared for combat that was half a decade ago I'm not gonna take part in this grief but I'm also not going to stop it these chunk borders were at tell me we got to be getting close this is some old terrain but maybe this base tour is gonna give us an insight into the mind of pop Bob what was he like is just a normal player you know looks like there's something over this way I think we may have found it oh yeah what is this that's floating lava just in the middle of nowhere all right this is definitely suspicious already just a random chest room underground with a crafting bench and it's floating lava this system all right this place is already giving me the creeps I kind of want to see what's in those chests I can take a quick look-see okay good there's a staircase going right to it anything hot some average stuff I guess at least it's something but we have to be close I think the coordinates are really close to the ones I was given so we just gotta get lucky now I think if we keep moving in this direction we should stumble right into it now this village is pretty established so this has to be part of the base and keep following this pathway here I know we're gonna run straight into it so let's go I'm excited oh there's something up there all right this looks promising it's all quartz it's a quartz build but hey quartz was around back in the day so oh-ho-ho it's real look at that it's actually real pop Bob's Castle exists look at that I gotta go into freecam for that this looks in sane holy cow you know what I got a screenshot this this is a thumbnail oh my goodness turn off nametags look at that it's a real place I didn't think it would be real I thought this was gonna be in a big scam I thought the guy was just trying to get you know a rise out of me but this place is legitimate let's take a look inside [Music] stay here pony alright you're more valuable to me well dead than alive with all these signers all my goodness but this looks like the playlist chronicle of rey meals watch so this is the actual name of the base it's not pop bob's castle it's rimi ah who all based here let's see whoa spike King Louie oh wow I have not heard that name in quite some time oh lo Feakins okay cam for those that don't know cam is the person that founded cam town which was quite famous back in the day it was one of the only bases left on the server the head of working end portal I even used the hacked in end portal at cam town back in I think 2014 although the base was kind of in ruins by then there's only one portal block left pop Bob of course and dr. line see pop up joins the fortress June 11th 2013 that's the summer I started playing on to be Tootie I can't believe it over five years ago but half a decade pop-pop joined this fortress oh my goodness what do we got over here hold on it historical lava do not renovate I you know what I knew it when we saw that lava back on that beach I knew that we were on the right track that there was a chance this place was legit and it is sure enough where do we even look first look this place oh if we could find an artifact there seems to be a lot of chests in this place already if we can find a lot of artifacts take them like a written book or something oh not seen anything that useful so far but they're all old blocks I don't see a single block passed the year 2013 so let's take a look around oh there's some chests over here bane of arthropods five wow they went all out with that little secret wall gallery do not remove please well it's gone now it's an interesting little formation this place is it's weird this entire cast we were dying yeah that's that's what I like to see a lot danger beams of light there must have been a beacon here at one point going all the way up this way yep sure enough but there's snow on top of the glass huh sure that was unexpected West halls this way your adventure begins now what which way to even go okay so this is like a spiral staircase we'll come back to that [Music] alright this seems to be on the other side of the mountain here okay just kind of lets out although there's random cobble there I've noticed so far there seem to be random places where like cobble was thrown down I can't tell if it was lava casted or if it was actually just put down by hand I don't know let's see okay there's something down this way just help I'm falling this is just keep going down I don't wanna waste my time oh wow this goes all the way down to this this quarry down here I'm guessing all these chests have to be just old cobblestone and stuff yeah I'm not going to bother to look now let's see what we have back over here now I want to take the spiral staircase yet because there was a hallway this way all right oh we got some chests anything at all let's see it they have a lot of red wool I've noticed like a ton of it I don't know what they were using it for me we got some brewing stands here and they're still fueling up okay so someone has been using this station recently there would not be fuel not the thing if they were just left vacant it's this way Oh an old anti afk pool so what you do is long to turn off my juice attacks you sit in it and normally well you know normally it's supposed to carry you around like that so even back then they were using this little pool to get past housemasters little plugins what huh that's interesting we have over here alright just goes down to this cave here all that's kind of cool oh wow look at that it's like exposed it's like an actual in mountain cave The Lost growth is a cool little place all looks like there's plenty underground we have yet to see I don't want to spoil too much with free camp all right so if we go let's see I don't did we go alright here's like a little balcony area looking out alright I was looking around and we pretty much have to go either up or down the spiral staircase let's go down first oh it fit shoot it oh so that's okay boomers will not count its wait a minute it's a target practice range look at this huh let's see if we can hit this oh that's that's gotta be a bull's-eye let's check it out arrow didn't even show up yeah I'm just gonna say that was a bull's-eye for sure all right so let's see what else we got around here it's this oh this is where the beacons work this loops around okay the wheat farm is here lots of food here wouldn't go hungry if we stayed here you got cook salmon too I'll add that to my collection okay so the farms were legitimate down here see interlude what is this let's see it's like a it's a minecart station other any mine carts left wait this is a this is a manual mine so look at that so it was actually taking things and then there must be minecart chests that are rolling that's got to be the case haven't seen one of these in a while look it just goes and goes wait what is this [Music] what is what do we have here it's a weird room I there's like no rhyme or reason to it that's odd I see a chest through here nothing this leads to outside sure enough it does and here's the entrance of the base and we haven't even looked at the outer part here yet we still have to go back and do that but still alright so ok so we need to get up that section okay how do we get up to that section now it looks like yep okay so we're kind of we were going the right way oh wait maybe not look at all this unexplored stuff there still is [Music] so you gotta pack my bags and leave this home start walking so it's just it's literally all signs and like lyrics and stuff King Louie's bedroom man this place is a little Posey I bet the King never thought he'd have his bedroom showing off on YouTube in the future half a decade later that's funny oh we got a bunch of chests here anything good come on any artifacts what hold on wait a minute sponge a wet sponge was that a 2013 you know what I think that that technically was 2013 wasn't it I don't remember it no I don't think it was and as 2014 at least nothing really that useful what's up here whoa now this is looking fancy up here we continue to climb what's in here oh is this like the actual okay this is the actual castle here with rooms but there's nothing in that item frame maybe there will be something left in these item frames if we keep checking every nook and cranny I don't know what we're gonna find in the rooms here oh wow that's the village we started the tour and now we could still see it from up here that's quite the distance away alright let's just use freecam to speed this up it doesn't look like there's anything left in this tower let's go to the other Tower now although let's take a little shortcut shall we all I need to eat look at that oh my all this stuff so it's like a nice little loop there little flower garden in here oh my hello chest [Music] yep I'm not seeing anything worthwhile here I was worth a shot yeah see there's more that Kabul that was randomly placed that's what I'm talking about it's really weird all right so let's see if we can hold on up we got more stuff in here decent ball in there I guess it wouldn't be awful if it's all you had good looking like it I really like the library in here it's a nice little punch most secret journals and diary and love notes all kept safe and sit away this obvious ingest well nothing left for us to take would have been cool if there was like a book in there or something but hey if there was one in there I'm sure it's long gone by now I just want to make sure oh yeah from stuff to go up the main staircase still plenty that we have not seen that we have to take it up this way right no okay there's we went down this way already that's the staircase we went up so there's I think this is the one we have to go up yup aw it's a lot of melons anything left in there look like it more dirt so now let's climb to the top of this tower this although you know just the lava just in plain sight that's a little dangerous I don't know if they could get this place and shared with all this floating lava everywhere oh my why not good and I gotta say it's it's a weird place look at that just random you know it's a cool build I love it but it's just kind of sad it has to get destroyed you know but on the other hand this place was gonna get blown up anyway so at least I have to show it to you guys before the griefer decided to blow it up you know a very cool fine but like 2v2 tee like anything on this server you build a sandcastle eventually the tide is gonna take it [Music] the griefer is here so it's time for me to hold up my end of the bargain You got to make gym tips video some time, perhaps a series you know. Since so many kids watch you send admire you, I'm assuming that series to go well as a change since your much more into that field. Maybe a full schedule for week 7 clips. Who knows man.

Loafykins here - On a whim, KingLouisXIV and I decided to log into the server and see how our base was doing. Upon seeing the destruction, a quick google search lead to your video.

I can not thank you enough for this video. It nearly brought me to tears, this was more than I could have imagined. It's too bad about its fate, but you captured the destruction in an unparalleled Chariots of Fire glory.
