Pokemon Brilliant Diamond But It's a Hardcore Nuzlocke!?

hello there i'm twigg and in this video i'll be attempting a pokemon hardcore nuzlocke in the brand new pokemon brilliant diamond if you have no idea what a hardcore nazlak is the rules are on screen this time for the gen 4 remakes let's finally get into this starting off me and my rival dark cry head to lake verity where we elude professor rowan's briefcase just like the punks we are i obviously choose turret wig because it's inarguably the best starter let's start a hashtag team church wig chain in the comments right now i name my church wig elton that ledge is one way jump down for a shortcut to twin leaf town uh is this dude telling me to go jump off a ledge i finish the catching tutorial and the first thing i do is head into the tall grass where i find and catch a shinx i name a freddy freddy has the ability to intimidate which is gonna be so good to have i then head back to route 201 where i bump into a badoof i decided to deviate a bit from my naming theme here because there really is only one acceptable name to giveabidoof despite what happened in my previous video so i name her hm i then head to route 204 where i find a starly to add to the team i catch him and name him elvis once he evolves he'll not only have a slick hairdo but also acquire the intimidated ability which once again will be very good to have finally i also make sure to catch a zubat in the ravaged path that i named jon so after training up my team i decided to challenge my rival darkrai all right let's challenge mr darkrai over here he's going to lead with starly which is fine all right starly you ready for this don't get cocky kid bro is this is this 11 year old calling me a cocky kid i started going for a quick attack which doesn't do much and thundershock that's take solid starly nice all right chimchar comes out next let's go for thundershock once again you ready for this you better be ready for this chimchar going for scratch that doesn't do much let's go ahead and tackle all right chimchar using scratch that does still a surprising amount of damage and the tackle takes it out bye bye chimchar that is our rival dealt with as always darkrai never stood a chance i arrived at our brick city where i immediately head to route 207 to catch him at chop which will help us out against rock type gym leader rourke i name him ozzy instead of fulfilling his duty as a gym leader rohrk spends his past time smashing rocks in a mine shaft so i have to go fetch him and after doing so it's finally time for my first gym battle okay rourke here we go come on and he sends out geodude okay let's go elton come on let's uh withdraw come on nice boosting our defense and he's gonna go ahead and set up stealth rock which is totally fine razor leaf and oh it's so close to a one one hit another razor leaf oh going for a potion oh but it's not enough a razor leaf bye bye geodude that's rourke's first pokemon dealt with okay onyx is out next yes yes dirty that's unlucky but it's not full health so theonix goes down that's rourke's second pokemon all right rork what are you gonna do last pokemon mold breaker cranados let's go for another razor relief headbutt how much is that gonna do oh a lot of damage and a flinch i flinched come on quick claw let me go first headbot dealing a lot of damage but a razor leaf one hit kos that's it for cranidos we defeated gym leader rourke our first gym badge let's go after beating rourke and getting my first gym badge i meet professor rowan in jubalife city sweet now we get to watch him roast team galactic in 3d on my way to floroma town elvis evolves into saravia and freddie evolves deluxio i also stumble upon a cellos outside of valley windworks so i catch him and name him jimmy he has the ability to storm drain which will be great for pivoting into water type attacks after beating up some team galactic grunts i get to battle team galactic commander mars alright we're gonna fight a weird looking commander let's do this come on alright sending out zubat first sure let's lead with freddie all right inner focus sure sure now let's take it out with a thunder shock but it does get the paralysis let's go okay all right a thundershock took out zubat perfect nice alright mars sends out our ugly cat let's go we then send in elvis go elvis intimidates gonna lower its attack yes it did go for fake out then we're gonna eat its berry with pluck oh probably using growl that's fine that's that that's totally fine great we get the oranberry now i'm gonna switch back into freddy double intimidate pivot now we've lowered peroglies attack twice brooklyn's gonna go for a growl again that's fine and now i'm gonna send in ozzy and for ugly is a scratch how much is this gonna do not too much great probably using scratch once again and this revenge should do a ton of damage let's see how much it does oh and it's a one shot what a nice job you did there ozzy let's go an easy mars battle i do some more training and after a bit elton evolves into a grottle i make my way through a turn of forest together with cheryl once i made it to eterna city i immediately grabbed the explorer kit and head to the ground underground i am so excited to finally explore it i find a hound doom in a volcanic area that i catch a name michael having a hound doom this early on is almost unfair he even has a modest nature which will make him an absolute powerhouse in another area i managed to find a crow gunk then i named bruce i then encounter a familiar face and even in chibi style she still looks as menacing as the grim reaper himself i head over to the eterna gym where i get to challenge gardenia all right gardenia let's do this oh i kept you waiting huh okay posing are we okay um she sends out to ruby and i come on elvis lower that attack well i can always set up why not dazzling gleam what that's an actually good move i'll set up one more double team and then i'll start start sweeping all right basically this is at least a little more lower now but it still connects of course it does the race should take us up to some health at least let's start to do this all right that's to ruby done with now she sends out church wig it pains me to do this but turtwig you're going down i'm sorry down to your final pokemon gardenia rose raid now the question is does she actually outspeed or not she does but grass knots not going to do anything we even avoid the attack the double team come in and clutch one pluck doing a good amount of damage and we steal the citrus berry so that should take us to a good amount of health oh i do have your coronary cord gardenia another grass not and we avoid again but it really wouldn't have done anything anyways so that is an easy win nice bye bye gardenia after getting my gym badge i go to the team galactic building and eternal city to challenge jupiter alright let's find let's fight commander jupiter and get more stupider all right inner focus zubat that is completely fine because we'll just get it we're just gonna take it out with a spark one shot nice all right skunten comes out oh really okay i'm just gonna go for a spark um i think it's fine to stay in how much is that gonna do okay wow that does nothing jesus do you have anyone with bronte moves or no well yes but it's not strong enough yet that's not great i'm gonna stay in actually um hit it with another spark it already has flamethrower what yes we got the paralysis okay oh no but it has a berry all right i think it's just time to switch out because i do not want to lose freddy to a crits all right let's switch into elvis intimidate doesn't really matter since gun tank does focus on special attacks how much is a flamethrower gonna do it's non-stop so oh a decent chunk we do put ourselves in risk of a crit but oh i do have speed no way it is paralyzed of course without speed pluck come on please allow us oh no of course but scan tech is paralyzed so we're gonna be fine we're gonna be fine okay i think a quick attack should be enough to take it out let's just be safe about it yeah cool oh aftermath oh no okay nice one we did it i then head over to heart home city where i totally forget about a rival fight here's how that went yeah all right let's take on dark cry once again oh wow he still has a starly low on levels are we huh only level 19. okay this should be fine then oh okay going for endeavor wow okay huh oh what a hit perfect that was a critical hit of course it was nice we gotta level up all right where zelia's out next yeah i'm gonna have to switch out donna so we switch into elton and then we start setting up with curse let's take it out with a bite this one shot right yeah okay he does send out his inferno already that's not great yeah i'm definitely gonna have to switch out here let's send in jimmy ooh how much is this gonna do a decent chunk but not hard enough mock punch oh no that did too much let's take it out with a water pulse zone i do some more leveling up until finally freddie evolves into a luxury i then run into harrison ford reprising his role as indiana jones it seems his pokemon is as ancient as he is i decide to take on crasher wake before maylene so i head to pistoria gym so uh any good catches lately having great coverage against water types i feel confident enough to challenge wake let's do this week let's go awake bro this guy's eyebrows what is going on there fight him crash awake okay he sends out gyarados sure let's go freddy okay you might intimidate me but i'll intimidate you as well uh let's go for a spark we should definitely add speed crunch doesn't do much though so it's fine a spark i'm pretty sure it'll take it out yep that's a one shot easy one shot nice gyarados faints cool all right quagsire is out next of course that's fine let's just send out elton okay go elton let's go oh yeah and what i'll do is i'm gonna set up a reflect just to be safe you know quagstar is gonna go for mud shot that's fine that's gonna go ahead and lower our speed but that is fine let's go for a razor leaf this should definitely take it out yup and a razor leaf takes it out in one shot nice alright so flo till comes out that's fine we're gonna go ahead and switch into freddy again all right go freddy and intimidate it's gonna lower its attack that's nice so that should mean an ice fang shouldn't do anything please do not freeze okay it'll likely go for uh okay it's gonna go for brian okay it doesn't deal too much that's cool or spark and it's a one shot nice that was an easy win as always all you'll ever need against wake is one grass type and one electric tithe after the battle jimmy evolves into a gastrodon which is just in time before we challenge the fighting type gym leader meilene all right let's do this hello meleen this should be a hard one not gonna lie but okay maelene sends out her meta type first of course um golbat should be able to out speed pluck come on take it out oh it's a one shot nice okay just like calculated perfect okay gym leader meleen has a joke um so i'm gonna go for pluck likely not gonna do too much but well a decent amount okay how much is a rock two i'm gonna do shouldn't take it out nice okay we do leave it our speed is lowered but the machoke is that slow we should still be able to take it out pluck nice okay melina's done to her last pokemon lucario and this is a powerhouse we won't be able to out speed at this point so what i hope to do okay we'll send in bruce what is it gonna do metal claw that did way more damage than i would have wanted it to it'll likely go for another metal claw so i do feel safe sending in michael yeah it does go for metal claw we are supposed to out speed so flamethrower should take it out in one michael willow speed and it's a one shot nice okay so we should have done that from the start but we do manage to win the battle what a win as i cure some psyduck from their headache cynthia asks a favor of me yeah i'm not gonna say no to her you know btsp actually turned out pretty good the cheapy art style is growing on me and the new underground was super cool i mean they even got rid of that pesky fog oh come on a bit later elvis finally evolves into a raptor and so after taking care of cynthia's errand i head back to hart home city to challenge fantina finally all right let's fight let's fight let's fight let's fight fentina sends out blimp let's go michael now uh we have choice specs on him so i fully expect a shadow ball to take out uh the drift blim yeah easy one shot nice and no aftermath because it's a special attack all right gengar is out next um shadow ball again i guess gengar is actually gonna go ahead and hit us first uh oh confuse ray that is not great at all yes we pull through okay shadow ball this should easily take it out yeah it does oh no cursed body activates let's go her last pokemon miss maggias so i'm gonna have to switch out now geez i assume she's gonna go for shadow ball i'm gonna send out freddie she's dazzling gleam she has that wow i'm gonna vault switch i think so if we don't hit ourselves we can get out of this freddy come on no okay i'm gonna switch into michael again all right michael let's see what she does dazzling gleam again okay how much will this do not too much great now let's go for that shadow ball we out speed no we don't outspeed oh my god that mesmages is so fast don't quit oh she didn't crit okay no she actually lives wait will she go for a potion now won't she yeah she did go for a potion okay so fentina will heal up all right let's take her back down with a shadow ball oh and the special defense drop will allow us to take it out in one shot it did matter it did matter the special defense drop did matter we oh let's go good game fantina michael came in so clutch there and made that an easy fifth gym badge i then head to cantalave city and once again forget there's a rival fight oh god and we once again forgot i don't i don't expect it to be hard it's just star cry anyways let's hit with a flamethrower this should easily take it out nice he's gonna send out heracross next okay sure do you want to die all right let's hit him with another flamethrower flamethrower is gonna one hit easily weaseled out next let's send in jimmy uh and take the attack boost great let's go special attack boost storm drain i think a surf should still do a decent chunk so well let's take it out with another surf okay where zelia is out next we're gonna have to send in bruce don't we okay let's go for poison jab oh okay not enough let's switch into elvis pluck amazing so last out is monferno i think another pluck should do the trick easily oh yeah that's easy that's that's that was and another easy darkrai battle after once again crushing darkrai bruce evolves to his final form toxic broke so with that i challenge cantaloupe city's gym leader byron yes i've defeated your son all right here we go leading with bronzer of course this absolutely obliterated oh yeah easy one shot alright so celix does have sturdy which actually works in this generation so i'm going to switch out to jimmy and then we go for surf now and i believe this could very well be a one shot oh never mind it does it of course it has sturdy um right now please do not oh it's well i i don't mind that byron's gonna heal up but that's fine we're just gonna we're just gonna use surf again yeah take him right back to one hp he's healing up again okay sure i'll just take him back to one hp all right how many times are you gonna heal up still or can i finally just finish you off now yes nice bye bye stelix bastion is out uh and now we send in bruce he's gonna go ahead and use flash cannon sure sure how much is that gonna do okay a decent amount of damage i'm gonna go ahead and use drain punch here that's gonna take him right to one hp of course and that's gonna go ahead and heal us up to a full hp so we should not be bothered by a critical hit at all okay it has a citrus barrier not a chesto berry in this game it will use iron defense which is absolutely useless there we go that's it for a steel type gym leader he sure is easy i gotta say no matter the circumstances byron was is and always will be a total pushover i'm then asked to head north to check on lake acuity so i figure eh might as well battle to him later candace while i'm at it well shouldn't be too hard let's do this so gym leader candace sent out snober we will lead with michael because we can just go ahead and use a flamethrower so uh snover goes down uh alright so she's gonna go ahead and send out sneezel next i think it's gonna go for a dig but let's see oh yeah it does go for dig now i really don't want to get hit by that dig so what i might do i'm gonna send an elvis okay so intimidate works apparently even though it's underground cool we take a little bit of damage to hail uh let's see if we can um okay so we're definitely faster than both sneasel and mericham so so let's stay in that close combat is going to wreck sneasel's world okay sneezel faints i like that they actually put items on the pokemon in this game candace sends out meta champ next that's totally fine now let's get out of here with a u-turn cool that does a ton of damage too oh it was oh we got a critical hit perfect it'll probably go for rockslide won't it yeah we're going to send in jimmy oh it went for ice bunch actually well that's fine it could very well go for brick break so i'm just going to send an elvis and it went for brick break perfect now what i'm gonna do it's at such low health that a u-turn should be enough to kill so we're gonna use u-turn okay so medicham goes down and then we're gonna return to raptor and the only thing that's left now is obama snow so we're just gonna send him michael again we should out speed we should very much shut speed and we're gonna and that's obviously enough to take it out quite effective plane thrower takes out obama snow and that's it we won the we won the ice ice type gym later that was fairly easy actually gosh dang this joke is old but i'll say it anyway candace there's nothing here and that's what makes us unique that's definitely one way of looking at it this place sucks but that's what i love about it i then head back to valeston city since it turns out that's where the team galactic hq is who would have known once there i face off against galactic boss cyrus let's do this let's see what you can do against the mirror child oh here we go battle versus cyrus wow the background looks amazing okay here we go spark all right spark takes out murkrow okay so goldberg comes out next that's fine another spark should do the trick easily heads up with a poison and we actually of course we get poisoned why wouldn't we yeah oh the spark didn't even take it out okay i'm gonna go for a volt switch here so that we can pivot out of here nice that takes it out uh and we're gonna send out bruce my last pokemon here we go sneasel and here we go drain punch nice that was easy once i've defeated him i take on commander saturn 2. okay well let's fight this guy men's got the blue devil horns so he leads with cadabra so i'ma send out freddie well i have bite i'ma i'll go for bite why not okay so cadaver's setting up reflect that's sure i'll let's see how much this does okay half health that's fine let me just go for a bite again what is he gonna do rain dance okay but there we go okay commander saturn sends out bronzer i'm just gonna go ahead and spark okay we get the paralysis nice extra sensory i'm gonna go ahead and use volt switch oh that did a lot of damage actually okay so we take back freddy i'll send in jimmy okay bronzer is gonna go ahead and use confuse ray let's see if this is a levitate bronzer oh okay it is oh extra sensory not doing anything okay so we snap out of confusion this rain dance boosted skull should do a lot it did cool all right he sends out toxic croak now so let's go for earth power nice it's a one shot and that's it for toxic croak and so we beat commander saturn cool but even after i beat them all in battle they still don't give up so i chased them all the way to mount coronet's summit where i for the third time have to face off against commanders mars and jupiter okay now all will end okay let's see what we can do to stop you oh wow okay all right let's take it on with darkrai crossover episode me and darkrai fighting together all right they're gonna lead with their uh bronzors okay elton okay elton we're gonna go ahead and use a substitute cool all right so they have light screen and reflect set up munchlex is actually gonna go ahead and use bite okay and they're gonna use payback am i gonna munchlax what okay that's weird so elson's gonna go ahead and use woodhammer let's see if this oh it's not a one shot okay well that's not great and content is going to heal up with its citrus berry okay oh yeah she's withdrawing skunk tank okay so golbat's gonna go back and mars is gonna send up ruggly that's perfect because now we actually um leech street of the perugaly now let's set up a goldberg's gonna go ahead and use giga drain oh my god thankfully we used ice beam so we're gonna take it out on this turn anyways nice and that's it for golbat a commander jupiter sends out scun tank probably is going to go ahead and use body slam straptor is going to use close combat killing for ugly okay so for ugly fans all right commander mars sends out our last pokemon gold bat skunk is going to go ahead and poison us both but at least we're going to go ahead and take out this gun tank with earth power okay well that's this gun tank dealt with oh quick attack sure that's going to take it out probably yeah we defeated commander jupiter and commander mars what a long fight that was and i can catch a break because right after that cyrus wants to have a word with me as well okay well i guess we're gonna go ahead and fight him right now i didn't realize we're gonna fight him right away but i guess we are let's battle team galactic boss cyrus well let's send in freddy all right so intimidated is gonna lower its attack okay we off speed and uh that's a one shot nice freddy lander oh my god the friendship thing is so op in this generation i guess okay so gyarados will hit uh and intimidate it actually has earthquake though so we're getting out speed so i'm gonna go ahead and hit a spark this should still one sh oh no no no no no no no no come on we live on 34 hp oh my god i was way too sure that that would take it out so it's gonna go for earthquake again i'm gonna send out elton that's not gonna do much so let's send in michael to take an ice fan and this should also hopefully bait out waterfall michael switch out come back great and then uh we're gonna send out jimmy let's hope that he actually did go for waterfall he did okay we get the storm drain boost crunch isn't gonna do much and we're not even gonna drop our defense but we're gonna use an ice beam that okay that does a decent amount of damage he did use the fuller store 10 chance for a freeze if not maybe a critical hit no all right ice beam how much is that gonna do he lives on red hp i'm gonna switch and bruce he's gonna use a super potion okay well i'm gonna have to switch out again it's totally gonna go for earthquake so i'm gonna bait out but okay well he landed a critical hit i'm gonna send michael oh and even freezes michael but now he's likely going to use um waterfall again he's going to use earthquake this time yeah we live on 15 hp and we're gonna go use recover and heal back up okay then we're gonna use ice beam that should take him down to low health and let's take it out with an ice beam great and that's fine with the gyarados done with okay so team galactic cyrus sends out we vile next it's gonna use a dig that shouldn't do much no it doesn't and an earth power is gonna do a devastating amount and that takes out the wii vile and finally crowbat comes out i'm going to go ahead and use recover just to be safe here robot's going to use u-turn shouldn't do too much damage doesn't uh pretty pretty sure an air cutter would do more damage but you do you that ice beam is going to take it down to low health and we even get the freeze wow yeah that ice beam takes it out great we've defeated team galactic boss cyrus after a hard cyrus battle i've finally defeated team galactic once and for all but i'm not completely in the clear yet i still need to take care of dialga dialga hits very hard with a roar of time but thankfully jimmy lands two earth powers which are enough to take down the god of time after all that drama i can finally go to sunnyshore city where the next and final gem is located all i have to do now is beat the self-proclaimed toughest gym leader in sinnoh here we go yeah yeah i'm an i'm arrogant blah blah blah blah let's do this let's fight volkner we're challenged by gym leader volkner so he's gonna go ahead and send out raichu and we will send out jimmy all right i'm gonna go ahead and use um earth power okay it lives which is almost good in a way because it's probably gonna go for surf again and boosting our special attack one more time he's gonna go for a full restore which is well that's fine all right earth power how much is this gonna oh it's obviously gonna take it out all right ambi pump comes out next okay well it's gonna go for fake out obviously yeah that did a lot of damage actually wow okay now we're gonna retaliate with a scald oh it takes it down to one hp nice and we're gonna go ahead and recover our health all right so it'll go for double hit again which is fine oh we have honestly this this mechanic is just overpowered all right artillery comes out now i'm gonna go for earth power oh and it lives on like it lives on low hp that's what it does so now we're gonna take it out with an earth power now vulchner is down to his last pokemon he's gonna send out his luxury we're we're fine we're fine now let's take it out with an earth power nice and just like that we've beaten all 8 gym leaders in sinnoh and as always volkner really isn't too tough at all it's then finally time to head over to the pokemon league once there i of course completely totally forget about the rival battle as i've even left freddie the luxury in the pc let's see how this goes oh no whoops guess we're fighting him now unprepared against dark cry so he's going to lead with raptor and i i guess i'm leading bruce oh no i left freddie in the pc that's not good okay so let's send in jimmy so he's going to lower his defense for me which will likely mean that i'm going to be able to one shot him oh i went for okay so we take out rose raid with a flamethrower so darker is gonna send insta raptor so i'm gonna go for flamethrower again no i sense so we take outs to raptor okay so now infernape comes out i'm gonna go ahead and send out elvis i think it's best to just go for braver at this point oh and for nape faints is the recall gonna be enough we live on one hb oh my god oh no and he has his hair across okay we're gonna switch in jimmy rockslide that probably won't do much at all no it didn't oh he's gonna go for thief oh i guess i guess we avoided it oh skull doesn't do we get the burn no way okay so now we can stay in and go for another skald he's gonna use thief sure oh skull takes him down to okay the burn kills oh mike oh my we okay we killed heracross okay snorlax is next let's send in bruce please don't have earthquake on that snorlax he's gonna use yawn okay and we fell asleep okay that might oh that is that is overpowered we woke up because of friendship nice and the drain punch is a one shot nice i'm gonna stay in and use drain punch i think no thank you this uh friendship system is just completely overpowered wow after the traditional victory against darkrai i can finally head into the pokemon league this is where things get hard first up is bug type user aaron welcome to the pokemon league all right here we go let's challenge aaron he sends out his dust stocks first sure all right go on michael let's see so this should be quite an easy sweep with just flamethrower all right nice it's a one shot so next out is heracross i think a flamethrower should be enough still so let's see but if we can pull it off oh yeah easy one shot okay i think that that's like pretty much the only threat that iron had all right next up is beautiful eye so let's use flamethrower again i'm pretty sure this will one shot yeah nice nice and easy okay vespiquen is up next let's see what we can do against her i guess flamethrower yep and it's a one shot once again and vespercon fainted all that's left now is his drapion i think what i'm going to do is i'm going to pivot into yeah i'm just going to send in jimmy directly he's going to go for earthquake but without stab it's just not going to do as much as for example at night slash would so this is the better better pivot all right yep that didn't do much at all oh my god we avoided the move all right let's use earth power and that's a one shot as well great we defeated elite for aaron having cleaned my first victory in the league i head to the next room to face ground type user bertha we're challenged by lead for bertha go on elton let's do this come on so we're gonna go ahead and use substitute right away okay so that means we're gonna go ahead and avoid that toxic so he's gonna go for surf actually oh no way we actually avoided that let's set up leech seed oh we are actually faster okay now much is the surf gonna do let's see okay substitute stays there nice and now we can start to set up with scald question is does bertha have two full restores if she does then this is just stupid intimidates gonna lower its attack that's really good oh my really you're really gonna do that i'm gonna do the the double uh intimidate pivot here so now that's that its attack is very low i feel safe to send in jimmy again so let's take it down to one hp again with a scald and then scald again okay and so the golem faded okay last that is a power down just in case i'm actually going to go ahead and uh pivot back and forth again send in freddy you should go for an ice fang yep and he does intimidate the powder and he's going to use earthquake nice i feel ready to send in jimmy now and let's use skald shouldn't one shot but yeah it does deal a good amount of damage oh and we get the burn nice so now even if it is a critical hit it won't do anything and we're going to use scald and that is bertha done few what a battle we we lost we lost our starter losing my starter in a top-notch pokemon in general hurt but there's nothing we can do now except avenge my fallen friend the rest of this pokemon league is dedicated to ultin and next up we take on flint okay here we go we're gonna fight flint who looks like a clown let's go we're challenged by elite four flynn's pennywise looking guy flint's gonna lead with rapidash and uh we're gonna send out jimmy in response now the question is will an earth power be enough to kill i um i don't think so oh it's gonna land a hypnosis of course it will that's fine though because it can't hit us hard anyways so he's gonna use iron tail how much is that gonna do not much at all we're still asleep oh we woke up nice gonna use earth power oh and it is a one shot nice okay low pony is out next now the question is i think the best move is to switch into bruce here oh but we avoided the high jump kick nice oh that is a lot of damage it doesn't really matter because we would have been able to one shot anyways but i'll take it so let's go for drain punch great and it's a one shot little punny fainted all right stelix is out next i'm gonna send out michael here we should be safe it's gonna go for iron tail but okay well we avoided it and then we're gonna hit back with a flamethrower is this gonna be enough to one shot it doesn't have sturdy so oh nice okay it is enough to one shot i wonder if a flamethrower is enough to kill i doubt it's no okay oh but we we do get the burn so that's good okay so driftwood's going to eat the citrus berry heel up which means that flint won't use his full restore but it it will go for minimize which is much at all no it didn't all right so the thunder wave is just basically a safety precaution in case i have to switch out again i'm gonna stay in and use spark yeah which is gonna one shot nice it's looking pretty favorable right now okay so he's gonna go for willow wisp sure i don't think that matters anymore at this point i'll still be able to one shot yes and we do and so we defeated elite four flint finally there's just one more elite four member left lucian let's see if we have what it takes to beat the sino elite four alright nerd let's battle you who reads books anyways all right here we go battle against lucian elite four lucian's gonna lead with mr mime okay so sludge bomb gonna take him to half health okay we do get the poison nice oh no he went for light screen it does take it out nice okay so medicham is out next he will most likely go for high jump kick yes elvis and he's gonna go oh but we avoided we avoided the high jump kick no way yeah we do out speed and we do take him out with a brave bird so giraffe rig is out next okay well we still do out speed so let's take it out with a u-turn that did a ton of damage come back here i'm gonna send in freddy now to take that thunderbolt oh but he's gonna go for trick room what that's not great for him because he still has that alakazam so we're gonna go ahead and use crunch take out the giraffe rig and now he's probably gonna send out his alakazam yeah we're gonna be able to out speed this alakazam yes so trickerman's gonna allow us to outspeed that alexa zam and take it out in one hit no way okay so alakazam goes down because of a huge misplay by illusion all right so he's gonna send in his bronzong we're gonna send an elvis here okay so we're gonna avoid that earthquake nice he's either gonna go no he's gonna go for payback or gyro ball i'm guessing gyro ball let's lower his attack even further so he's gonna oh he's gonna use payback okay sure okay let's volt switch then and we're gonna switch in elvis just to get that extra intimidate off i think it's time to send and michael here he's going to use payback which probably won't do much damage no it won't maybe we don't want to risk it yeah let's keep on pivoting just in case yeah and he's going to go for earthquake which doesn't affect us i'm gonna send in freddy then it might be good to stall out the trick room okay there's still a trick trick is selective so let's send in elvis and he's gonna use earthquake nice and the dimensions return to normal well i'm gonna go ahead and u-turn now i think i'm gonna change plans here because he's just gonna keep trick grooming so i think what i'm gonna do here is i'm gonna send in jimmy instead we should quite easily be able to um take anything that the bronzong's gonna throw at us let's see and so we can just safely scald which isn't gonna do a ton of damage but it's the safer option okay and he gets burned as well so he's gonna go ahead and heal up with a citrus berry and we're gonna use scald now is that burn gonna be enough oh no it lives on one hp he's gonna use a full restore but that's fine and we're gonna go ahead and answer that with a skald and he's gonna get burned again nice we can hit him with a final scald oh but he has another full restore well let's use called yeah that's gonna take it out but we defeated lucian so that means the elite four is done with after having beat all members of the elite four we head into the final room where we face off in one of the most iconic battle in pokemon history against champion cynthia okay here we go let's battle the champion okay she's gonna lead with spirit tomb so i'm gonna send on michael we're gonna use flamethrower no it's not enough damage no it's not enough damage oh but it can't hurt us it can't hurt us and i avoided it i avoided the attack we're good we're okay but i don't think another flamethrower is gonna take it out actually okay it is enough it is enough nice perfect so the spare tube goes down so gastrodon is out next so let's send out elvis so yep we avoided that earthquake nice uh we're gonna send out so she's gonna go for rock two yes very likely yeah let's send out freddie so gastron's gonna use rock tomb so now we're gonna send out elvis and it's gonna go for earthquake yeah so i'm gonna u-turn that's gonna do some damage ah it was a critical hit no way so we're gonna go back to us i think jimmy's the best bet not gonna lie just gonna go for rock tomb okay yeah that did minimal damage let's go ahead and use earth power that's fine oh when it was a critical hit too so what's she gonna do now rock doom again okay so oh she's gonna give us the attack boost well then an earth power probably will take it out right no okay let's let's use her earth power again yeah she will heal okay so cynthia's gonna heal back up and we're gonna use earth power now nice okay so let's go for another earth power maybe she's gonna no she's gonna go for sludge bomb it's not very effective don't poison no it poisoned okay an earth part takes her back to red that's poison damage though let's use recover and that earth power is gonna do enough roaster raid comes out now that poison on jimmy is just not good but we're going to send in michael so she's going to go for energy ball sure how is she faster wha how is rose raid faster i've invested ev's in my speed too what that is that's that that's cap that's cap okay so we're just gonna take that sludge bomb i guess how does she deal that much damage i guess we're just gonna sacrifice ourselves here but that's that's just that roast raid i swear so at least she goes down now but so will elvis yeah she sent out lucario sure so we're gonna use drain punch here she's gonna go for flash cannon okay i'm just oh my god that does so much damage oh great we get a one shot amazing i can still do this somehow so milo take us out next okay what's she gonna do scald oh okay that's really nice so that flame orb is gonna activate marble scale meaning she will have more special defense now let's let's do sword stance let's dance with the swords so is she just not gonna go for ice beam then okay we can uh we get plus six attack now now let's go for a very hard hitting drain punch oh and she live is still amazing and we're gonna use drain punch again nice okay so let's go for drain punch again and let's take her back to low health and low hp just gonna use recover okay you know what let's go for drain punch again so myelitic goes down now comes garchomp okay we're gonna hit it hard with a sucker punch how much is this gonna do oh not enough not enough no it's gonna go for earthquake that's gonna take us out we had a good run we had a good run bruce we had a good run okay so now is ice beam the move i think it might be even though she's holding the berry oh no she's gonna go for swords dance okay so she's setting up attack that barry's gonna oh no she's not gonna die is she yes yes yes we win we actually do win oh my i thought that wasn't gonna take it out i don't know why but oh my we won yes we won our first playthrough of brilliant diamond let's go and just like that we beat our first nuzlocke in the new remakes i gotta say i was so positively surprised at how much fun i had with the remakes sure it might have been a bit too faithful to the original games but all in all i had
