Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Rather than doing this in the original files when Iβve needed to do something like this Iβve done it similar and analysed the original file using amplitude statistics but applied the noise gate in the multi-track.
Same result but no destructive editing so no need to duplicate files as the originals remain untouched.
Important to say if doing it in the multitrack it has to come at the start of the effects rack before any compression etc as otherwise youβll end up sucking up the bleed and making the removal virtually impossible.
Wow. You deserve a cup of tea for this. Thanks for sharing!
YOOOO thank you for this!
thanks for sharing!
Nice take on the hidden pitfalls of podcasting and getting clean audio
Well done!
Thank you so much, Iβve been trying to find a work around for some mic bleed and this was exactly what I needed
You're an absolute legend Mike! I can't overstate how much your tutorials have helped me
This is great. I wish I saw this 2 days ago when I was doing it all manually.
Does anyone know how to replicate this process for removing mic bleed in Reaper?
