Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Didnt his family also fly cross country for thanksgiving
I feel like a boomer. I know James and Noah Beck but who are these other people?
What is so hard about staying inside of your multi-million mansion for a couple of weeks? Especially in LA! You can have food delivered to your door and not even see anyone. Also not to drag him to hard but wasnโt he a makeup channel at one point?? He couldโve been locked in his studio creating looks but no, he decided that he should break lockdown rules and collab with people.
Honestly, Iโm so tired of these influencers having no regard for this pandemic. Like I wish they were a piรฑata and I had a baseball bat.
The video is just a vlog-style compilation of James and his friends playing Among Us, the mafia-esque space murder game, but in real life. They go around doing little tasks and laugh/joke with each other while doing it. This would be a perfectly fine, cute video, if it weren't for them all breaking the California COVID restrictions.
Currently, in LA County (where I believe James resides, but correct me if I am wrong) , COVID is widespread. There are heavy restrictions on social gatherings and businesses. At the time of posting, California has over 1 million reported cases.
Social gatherings are very, very limited. Social distancing and mask-wearing is a must for all attendees, shouting/cheering is strongly discouraged at indoor gatherings (technically prohibited, but that's definitely not the easiest to enforce), and you must limit gatherings to people from less than three households (source).
Yet James and his friends think they are above all of that.
They break everyone single one of these restrictions. No one is wearing a mask or social distancing. There are at least 12-14 people in that house, none of which are from the same household (AFAIK, please correct me if I am wrong), and they spend the entire video screaming, jumping around, and cheering.
This isn't the only collab he's done. He has seen countless other beauty gurus and friends during this pandemic, clearly not giving a single shit if he is following any guidelines.
What sickens me the most is the clear lack of care for so many people. So many have died from COVID, have lost family members and friends and loved ones. Why the fuck does James think he is above this? Why does he think he has the right to break all these guidelines for a 20 minute video?
It's so discouraging to see how much people have suffered and lost this year due to the pandemic and restrictions, while influencers bounce around from party to party. It's so fucking clear he doesn't care about others. God, it's so disgusting.
Thoughts? I'm pretty clear on what I think, but I would love to hear if you have other opinions.
The worst part is how they can afford to isolate and choose not to, people are living check to check and have lost there job and spoilt brats like this keep running the covid cases up. I honestly would adore watching a Among Us Stream (it's all that's keep me sane right now) but why do they need to do this???
Is it just me, or is the concept of this video not even that good? I have nothing against among us, but it's not that interesting in real life. The imposters don't know who the other imposter is and it took forever for them to find bodies. It's honestly just annoying to watch.
I also agree that anyone doing in person collabs with people who aren't family (or in a small pod situation- like Manny and Laura come to mind) is just lacking creativity at this point. There's a lot of content you could do that doesn't involve in person collabs.
I know this is about James Charles but that Larray kid is 100% the worst influencer at social distancing. He was on the freaking Dolan twins snapchat at their house 2 days ago. And he was the one that threw that birthday rager back in spring that all the influencers got in trouble for attending. Ugh heโs the worsttttt
Joey Graceffa also does this. Im sure James Charles got the idea to do this from Joey
Why does everyone else look 12
