I Did My Makeup Horribly To See How My Friends Would React *Prank*

hi sisters james charles here and welcome back to my youtube channel okay now you guys are probably looking at me and thinking james what the heck is this makeup look it actually has literally nothing to do at all with today's video but i just finished doing it i just finished taking photos i'm feeling super super cute and i really wanted to wear it for the intro of this video just to prove that i can do makeup because in today's video it might seem like i can't do makeup i thought it would be so much fun to do my makeup as badly as i possibly can and then facetime a bunch of my friends and see if anybody realizes what's going on i'm honestly really excited and also super curious to see what my friends are gonna do when they see my pad at makeup some of them may not say anything at all because they don't want to hurt my feelings some of my closer friends might literally tell me that i look busted and disgusting right away some of my friends may not even notice the bad makeup at all and if that happens then we have much much larger problems at hand so one last time i want y'all to take a really good close-up look of this artistry on my face the colors the blending and the details because it is now time to wipe this off and create a much much much worse makeup look let's get started [Music] all right you guys we are back the makeup was all wiped off and now it is time to put some makeup back on but like a whole lot worse i feel like i should stop saying worse let me explain this since i put on some foundation the shade is definitely going to be a little bit too orange for me that's for sure i am really debating like how oh wow orange i'm really trying to figure out like how bad i actually want to make this look a lot of times when i'm doing my youtube videos they're doing makeup challenges i'll always say like on camera like oh my god this is looking so bad or i hate how this is looking it looks like this looks disgusting yeah this looks like and then all of you guys cloud me in the comments saying like james this looks fine shut up which i always appreciate but obviously you guys you know my job is a makeup artist so i'm definitely a perfectionist and if something isn't up to my standards i'm just very dramatic and i always say that it's bad but this makeup look today needs to be like bad enough to the point where you guys or anybody that sees me doesn't look at it being like this is perfectly fine but it also can't be so awful to the point where everybody looks at me instantly and is like what did you do it has to be like a subtle bad but if it's so bad to the point where i look like disgusting everyone's gonna pick it up right away and then this video won't be funny and i feel like this is this is bad but i need to start over okay i'm gonna wipe this off i'm actually just gonna leave a little bit of the excess like really on there oh oh no just putting it on there oh okay that's better bad but better this pimple really is trying my life right now oh yeah now should i do some concealer i don't really know what i'm doing now let's go ahead and set this beautiful base in a place i'm gonna make this look really as splotchy as i can the neck really is getting me good that is so bad okay i'm like literally like digging into my palette [Music] oh no let's see here's put in a toaster oven and baked at 350 degrees okay now blush okay let's make this nose look nice and big oh my god that looks big now for brows i'm gonna go ahead and grab my dipbrow pomade this is what was really the reasoning for the past boy if you don't make them look nice and thick oh god that's triggering i can't believe i used to do my eyebrows like this every single day and thought that i was just killing it muay the [Music] should i add on century freckles but just do them really badly too that could be good right [Music] i'm gonna leave my eyelids looking greasy like this but then i'm gonna add a really really bad wing okay let's do a nice warm tone smokey eyes you guys this is crazy okay so i'm just gonna add some nice green to the lower lash line really just you know my least favorite color should i make the freckles more intense or something is this ooh enough for you louis okay you guys now that the makeup look is all complete it is time to start facetiming my friends and seeing what they're going to say i'm honestly so so ago and your freckles i'm not even going to talk about the freckles what kind of splatter i was trying out a new technique okay cute it's a technique you should never try again god you're a real one i'm doing a video where i do my makeup poorly and seeing if my friends will catch on yeah manny's one of the funniest people i've ever met in my entire life next i really want to call my really good friend kade and is one of the best makeup artists that i've literally ever met so i feel like if anybody's going to tell me that it's busted i really hope that it's him hi gorge what are you up to um i'm doing nothing i love that i just finished filming this cute little look what do you think oh i really love your um disgusting eyeliner what it's a little uneven what no it's not you don't think it looks good um i think you're lucky you're pretty i'm trying out some new techniques yeah i don't fix what ain't broke me i just wanted to share it with you to get your thoughts but i'm glad to know i
