hi guys it's Gordon and I've got a little twist on a delicious rib eye for you today now I'm making a coffee and chili rub rib eye but instead of using a grill or a pan we're cooking with air in the Philips airfryer an air fryer you're going to get those delicious flavors locked in and keeping all that juice inside the rib eye without the grease onto the rub this is exciting when you're using coffee mix that with the sugar got that nice sweet and sour bitter flavor but this is what takes the rub to a different level Aleppo pepper now that's a very very powerful spice now with the rub the best thing about this the longer you put this rub on the more flavor you get inside that steak seasoned the plate first steak on and then coat it now the reason why we do this on a plate is that we can literally mop up all that wonderful rub and make sure you go around the sides secrets to make sure that this whole steak is locked in press it down now then you get that done 15 20 minutes beforehand the difference in flavor is night and day set that aside and pre-heat your air fryer 390 for at least three minutes before once you've marinated that rub on that ribeye take out the basket and that is your grill pan accessory this locks in and seals in that flavor but more importantly puts a lovely color on the ribeye straight in and that should take between eight to 10 minutes from their garnish we've got these amazing little new taters just leftover ball potatoes we're going to wrap that up and take them to sort of almost like a delicious sotae potato first off cut your potatoes in half from there get your pan nice and hot barring my potatoes already cooked so what we want to do now is just literally get a nice and crispy teaspoon of olive oil in potatoes in I like cut them in half so we get the nice color on those potatoes we've only take two or three minutes because they're leftover ball potatoes skins you can leave on flavors in the skin touch of salt touch a pepper and then just take a little pinch of your rub from your rib eye and season that over the potatoes that brings the flavor potatoes little bit closer to the rib eye once you start to get color on there in with your chopped garlic plenty full get a garlic really nice and crispy and then your onions now nice hot pan keeping them really nice and crispy once we've got a color on the potatoes in with your butter great way of utilizing leftover potatoes more importantly a wonderful addition without ribeye now let's take a look at a steak you can hear that there isn't that I mean absolutely incredible but look at ribeye look like it's been cooked on the grill this is what makes this device so unique Philips created rapid air technology with a patented starfish design it circulates heated air 360 degrees all around your food so it's like being cooked in oil but it locks in the juice and the flavor is extraordinary really important let the steak rest you never slice a steak piping hot slice the steak piping hot we can alou's all the goodness let it rest let it reabsorb into itself now potatoes before they come out a nice sprinkle of fresh parsley that gives that really nice sort of earthy flavor to the taters gets an even more crispier just going to sit them in the middle it's a beautiful way of finishing off a ribeye and for me it's sort of family style and the secret behind a great ribeye doesn't need a sauce we're going to finish this with a compound butter but watch that's the ribeye take the ribeye from there that's the rib cap this is the eye this is the the beauty of tests but the heat a wonderful smoky flavor from the coffee that is delicious don't slice it to thinly slice an angle keep the knife point at the top and then from there look open that up on to your steak and then finally the beautiful cap or the ribeye this is a sort of Sheppey bit here it's a bit that all the chef's woman take that and place there and then finally our compound butter compound basically means just a really nice flavor aromatic butter gotcha lots garlic passed in there slice that nice and thinly secret here to the butter to sit top of that ribeye and melt and implement even more flavor that's my delicious coffee and chili ribeye done and the most amazing sous chef the Philips airfryer enjoy now for my delicious recipes please go to Philip comm forward slash airfryer ere is the new oil innovation and you Phillips
