[Applause] let's meet our next position [Applause] [Music] my name is Kyle Merlotte's and I live in Las Vegas Nevada I think magic is more powerful with things that we all know the magic I do normally is all with organic items like items you find around the house cops and shaving cream and things like that but my mom and dad have been very supportive but my dad he loves magic and he hasn't really got to see me on TV a lot but he's actually gonna be at fullest I'm very excited about it and it's a really great opportunity because recently my dad was diagnosed with cancer so for me to go out and try to Fulton and tell her this is the first time he's been able to see me shine in this big of a surrounding I know he's gonna love it we're just having him there then the audience is going to be a really special moment for me to show him everything I've accomplished because of the support that they've given me [Music] please welcome Kyle marlak [Applause] my name is Kyle Merlotte's and I am a magician I do tonight we're doing something really awesome and I need the help from two people I thought they loved me Alison might be able to help me in the lovely pin might be able help me give them both a round of applause good to see you again Cuddy speeds relax chill out uh doing good you know each other you go way back all right so I have their cards here all different I'll mix up all difference all mixed up all different mixed up now I need one of you to pick a card but here's the thing I don't want to play favorites I don't want to be that guy I would be that guy so I thought the best way for you guys decide who picks a card is to play quick one round game of rock-paper-scissors okay so get in the starting position okay ready I'm gonna throw a rock just me okay so I am gonna throw a rock okay ready I think he's messing with you I think you go for rock okay ready is that go he's say [Applause] he said he was gonna Allison we all can't be winners I'm sorry uh I'm gonna refer my thumb down the side deck I just want to call out stop whenever you want sure stop right there yeah great now I wait to notice this is the car that you're gonna get that's the card you stop Dougy the key no hearts now you guys could probably tell but the people here the theater and the people home might not be able to notice that I work out why are you laughing I will prove that by taking your card the keen hearts and Alice I'm gonna tear this card but I want you to see in here I'm actually tearing this card hey you can hear it yeah you see it then you can see in here she'll be ripping the card right so I'm gonna finish it but here's the thing I don't want to finish the tear all the way I want to leave it on just a little bit and that's because I want you to finish the tear cuz I don't we think I'm doing any monkey business or anything like that home okay so go ahead and finish the tear until I take it yeah go ahead that really keeping that card right I'm sure Sam sir do you lift those listen press it so hold on that corner we're gonna get to in a moment I'm gonna take your car at the King Hart's missing the corner presser right here and the low deck yes I'm gonna put it right here and I'm not gonna touch it you keep an eye on if you wobble you guys drink tea you tea drinker drink tea right so I didn't know what weird make up a tea by didn't know what type of tea you guys like so I brought five different flavors of tea excuse me pardon me perfect five different flavors right yeah we have a green mint lemon peach and black now each 10 has about 20 or so teabags in it okay that gives you guys the option of over 2,000 teabags to choose from I thought if I tripped it for you my math would obviously not yeah then there's five tins of tea go ahead and pick whatever one you want it doesn't matter well are you I will gobble pit I'll pick go ahead yeah the whole pick mint go ahead take it okay and we don't need these don't we know okay all right and we don't need that okay so do we very open it up I will very strong okay you can see there's a bunch of bags in here yes not only the best for you all right your favorite reach your hand out an Oscar Allison about t-bag else it was like a teabag that came off way worse than I thought it's great - okay okay so you want to change your mind you can change your mind but to not take pens learn hold in the direction different direction I thought it was going to thrown to people that's all but that's the one you want yeah sure okay uh you can change your mind okay ping we'd uh we don't we don't I also have a cup yes empty Cup let's go if you got yes uh with your left hand you meant holding it by the handle the yeah your left you know I want you hold it up like you're like you're toasting pan like you're like Cheers so I leave you're holding up just like that don't move okay hold it perfect red take the wrapper and pin you can have that that's for you you're welcome uh and you can have the rest of it here with them we're gonna put the tea bag inside and can you put your thumb on it so it doesn't fall in like that occur fect okay I have some warm water it's not hot don't worry I'm sure we have liability here somewhere yeah you try to pass off making tea is dangerous to the steam sauna okay so that's it good thank you uh I ever got to write card okay so you picked the keen of the space yeah hurts creepy not this next video okay has been ahead touch it and touched it like how I see that you got it okay yeah no it's cool okay there we go really if you don't mind oh sorry you can now see that that King of Hearts is completely gone we have the QinetiQ diamonds key not clubs Kiev we have a keen of everything but the hearts right like it's gone Alison you can you can see yes yeah oh yeah yes okay every of ladies I like to throw things yeah Allison I haven't touched that cop break I know pain hasn't touched that cup I don't know you wouldn't know if two dudes came at you trying to get that cup right you fight us back yeah yeah if you would with your right hand grab the stream yes and slowly pull up [Applause] that you can see that there's a card you can see there's a card it happens to be the king hearts missing the corner you just so happen to be holding I do I on the corners if you guys would come together and see if that matches a hundred percent Wow great daily shall be enjoyed [Applause] I think that's what we enjoyed a lot um wow that was wonderful thank you yes exciting to be here in Vegas [Music] [Applause] tonight yes so my pop is here it means a lot to me he's never seen me seen video of me doing stuff but really has where is he ready I got other classes [Applause] [Music] ready I'm gonna check in with um great all right mr. pen mr. teller um your dad should be very very proud because that's gonna law to work going into it yeah I mean a lot of work going into it you know I I do love tea and I'll tell you you said something about there being thousands of tea bags there and there weren't of course that was just a little joke but I will tell you that tea was very very special and that tea takes a long time to make that team and you said I had a free choice of any canister I did and when you said she had a free choice mini tea bag in that canister she did but boy it was a lot of work and I'll tell you it looked like there was a lot of chance involved but I will tell you right now the chances that she was gonna pick the right tea bag out of the right can with the right card in it were a hundred percent it was all entirely under your control I'm gonna say something uh that actually I think you know but you may not know and it's fascinating sometimes magic and criminal activity overlap in cards obviously we have the gambling cheat share who use some of the same techniques the card magicians use but this technique that you use with the tea bag is a technique that's actually been used very successfully by people who are running numbers did you know that I think I know what you're saying yeah so you think you know you think you know what I'm talking about I think you know that although you did a great act and your dad should be very proud totally original effect and a lot of work maybe the hardest work there in anything we've seen on this show but you didn't fool us is that right that is correct you didn't fool them [Applause] we can later in the show and until her work their magic [Applause]

It's not that he says "I'm going to throw rock," it's what he motions that he's going to throw that tricks her.
