"That was one" was his best line. I cracked up
What is that instrument called? I've heard it in the San Andreas intro and I've been looking for it ever since: https://youtu.be/TTB6eEHCAko?t=27
That was really good. Made me chuckle a couple of times.
I'm torn about acts like this on Fool Us. I watch this show hoping to see impressive and difficult tricks that legitimately attempt to fool penn and teller. Acts like this, while really entertaining, are more of an attempt to get exposure than really fool penn and teller.
On the other hand, I was entertained, so it's more a minor irritation than a real gripe.
"I've been around food my whole life."
Dear Dairy...
Amazing performance.
Here's my guess as to how it's done. Basically, after the 10 "cards" are counted, he does a sleight of hand to remove 2 from the first stack, and then hands the stack to the first guy. In the second counting, he adds 2 in a sleight of hand. This is why it is crucial to have over 20 "cards". It's also important to add/subtract 2. If you add/subtract 1, the participator might halve the stack and recognize the halving is uneven.
Bring your own trophy... I'll do that.
