it's Joel ward and I am a comedy magician like grew up in San Diego you know being a Californian kind of an impromptu lifestyle I mean you think about it you know it's a very laid-back I love yoga practicing yoga is very similar to practicing magic technique is very ancient and it's just adapting and changing certain postures or techniques to fit a modern time Sungjong my name's Joel ward let's borrow her for this okay just one ring this is great oh wow okay this is great alright here we're gonna try a trick here that's gonna be a lot of fun Jimmy there with your right hand I want you to make a fist okay okay hold it out yes okay what we're gonna try to do is we're gonna try to make this ring disappear from this cloth it's gonna end up inside that hand okay okay here do me a favor I want you to pinch the ring through the cloth with the video done okay you got it yeah thank you make it happen right there alright she's gonna fool both of you all right here on the count of three one two three open don't have been good though right don't even yeah yeah that was just does just a quarter don't worry see I'm palming your ring in my right hand see it's it's right it's uh oh that's cup that's the quarter uh I'm sure that's what the ring cost yeah Alice I grew up in the hood right I grew up in La Jolla California which is a beach community of San Diego and you know growing up in the hood was hard right I was I was headed for a life of surfing and carne asada burritos and the only way out was through sports as a kid I had to choose something so so I chose tennis and I thought we would try a little tennis trick this will be a lot of fun do you play tennis at all uh not well not well okay all right that's all right I'll tell you why here we have a couple of items here this will be great here do me a favor uh play a little game at tennis how bout a little headband there or I'll take the quarter but yeah I have another show tomorrow this will be great okay all right here we go here we'll get a little headband going and let's see oh yeah this is great okay let's see what else to play game of tennis we got a couple of tennis balls here do me a favor Allison just uh point to one anyone you like but you asked me to juggle this that one this one here the round want a yellow one nice choice right good call right yeah well in La Jolla tennis balls are very rare and as a kid I would have to sign my name on them otherwise the other thugs would sealants okay let's do this I'm gonna have you just autograph that tennis ball if you don't mind that'd be great okay cool that has nothing to do with the trick I just wanted your signature okay alright this is uh this is great how about a little happy face too this is a very okay happy San Diego style trick okay cool all right so here we go sign tennis ball and let's see what else do we need to play a game of tennis we need of course a racquet yeah that's right a tennis net perfect okay here hold onto that okay yeah if you would just just hold it up a little lower yeah just up a little lower you're doing just great okay all right this is fun okay all right Alison what we're gonna do is we're gonna take your sign tennis ball right we're gonna try to ricocheted off the back of the theater it's gonna land right there inside the net I got it I got this all right here can I get a little tennis city music all right up a little higher this is good I think I know what happened sometimes tennis balls deflate you know like like footballs in the NFL you know they sometimes deflate right here once you take that off here I'll take that back here look I have a brand new tube of tennis balls in here why don't we just try this trick one more time here do me a favor can I get you to examine that can there it really check it out right make sure it's just a regular can of tennis balls you see the top there where it's sealed yeah can I get you to pop that open I also hate this part I'll have my tennis partner do this and here I'll take the lid okay this is great and if you would go ahead smell them right smell-my no smell them okay uh they're brand new okay this is going here pour them into the net there oh look at three balls in the net let's see there's one signed ball is that your signature yes all right that's awesome right that's for you thank you yeah forgetting something uh well let's try this uh no way could it be maybe probably that's my job right there's a two-year that there's I do there is something in there yeah yeah that would be good here let's try this here hold onto this okay I was I was online the other day and uh and I picked up this they said it was Oh Jay Simpsons this is just a cut-resistant clubs actually it's for cooking so you don't cut your hand is there any hidden compartments in there and he spots to place two rings or anything it's just a chainmail glove yeah okay great we also have this now here too are you left-handed or right-handed awesome all right right-handed go just place your right hand right there okay okay yeah just the fingerprints are great thank you so much all right no kidding okay no uh no here let's uh let's let's go in inside that ball there there is something inside okay let's do this here we'll just slice right inside hold out your hand Oh thank you so nice yeah do you do any more tricks or develop sports yes portray yes sport and some people say look like somebody I know oh yeah that's right this is like an episode of How I Met Your Mother right ya know I get that a lot right alright penn teller what do you think Kivar the other sister he absolutely wins best costume ever on full very few other magicians who show their legs sir and your your there your your full life and loyal you know it's always nice when you have a big bag on stage you can reach into that covers a multitude of sins say that what you have here is a couple of wonderful things you have a wonderful presentation of the bill in the lemon is it is essentially what that is yes and but a ring is better because the ring enough to have signed or anything we all know the way to vanish your ring in the handkerchief and having the thing we're all ready for something else for that thing to just get her across the stage where we could see it really funny really good it works kind of the same way it's just smarter and better and more deceptive to everybody but us and so I think we've covered it we can give you more but we'd like to just praise you and say the James rule is one precept thank you guys hen and
