I will also teach you different ways on how you can sell this for your business. So if you are interested in this video, join me as I cook. Tipid Tips Atbp Peach Mango Pie Ingredients for Peach Mango Pie Ingredients for the Pie Dough 1 kilogram of flour. Any flour will do. All purpose flour, bread flour, or cake flour. ½ cup of white sugar. 3 teaspoons of baking powder. 1 teaspoon of salt. I will use evaporated milk. But you can use water as well. 410 mL. But if we need it and it is still hard, I will add water. I will just tell you later how much I used. 300 grams of Dari Creme. You can use butter or margarine, or you can use lard. This is what I used. Dari Creme. That is 200 grams. I used 1 and ½ of this. This cost 53 pesos for 200 grams. Ingredients for the Pie Fillings We will use peach. This is 850 grams. When you drain the liquid, it will leave 480 grams. But we will not throw out the liquid and we will use it as well. ½ kilogram of ripe mangoes. 5 tablespoons of cornstarch. ¾ cup of white sugar. If the mango you bought is quite sour, you can add more sugar. We will also use 1 large egg for brushing our peach mango pie before we fry it. We will also use oil for frying. Now, we will start. I will use a mixer. But you can knead this by hand. Just mix all the ingredients and when the dough is smooth already, that is okay already. Let us now put all the ingredients. Sugar. Salt. Baking powder. Butter. Let us put half can of the evaporated milk first. Then later, let's pour in the rest while we mix it at the same time. Let us set the speed at number one then we will change it to a high speed. The dough is okay already. We are done mixing it. I didn't add water in this anymore. 410 mL of evaporated milk is enough. It depends on the flour that you will use. So we pour in the liquid gradually so that we will not overdo it, and it will not be so soft. The dough's texture should be quite rubbery. There. We wrapped our table with cling wrap. We will knead the dough until it becomes smooth. If you will manually do this, just knead it until it is smooth. Then, it is okay already. When it is smooth like this, it is okay already. Let's cover it with plastic on top. Then let's place this in our refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Let the dough rest. While the dough is resting for 30 minutes, let us cook the pie fillings. Let us drain the peach. While we are draining it, we will slice it in small cubes. Let us slice the mango into cubes. We are done slicing the peach and mango. We will now cook. Let us start cooking the pie fillings. This is the liquid from the peach. There. Let us just wait for it to boil. While waiting, let's dissolve this with some water and we will mix it here in the liquid from the peach. The syrup is boiling and we will gradually add the cassava starch. Let us put in the sugar as well. Let's taste this. The sweetness of this is okay for me already. But if you will make this, you can add more or lessen the sugar depending on your taste. It will just take a moment to cook this. Then we will turn off the fire. You can add yellow food coloring or not. But I will put a little amount of this. This is okay already and it has boiled a bit. I will not turn off the fire. And we will wait for this to cool down. Okay, 30 minutes have passed. And we will now slice our dough. And of course, we will be needing a rolling pin, dough scraper, a fork, and our weighing scale. I will be measuring 30 grams of dough. Let us first divide the dough into 4. Then we will roll this again. Let us cut all of these first so that we can continuously work. We are done slicing everything. And now, we will roll this into circles. Put your two hands again. There. And then, start rolling it. Let us first roll these into circles. We are done rolling all of these into circles and we will now flatten all these. And then we will put the pie fillings. Our tray, which we greased with lard, is ready. But margarine will do as well. This is to prevent the peach mango pie from sticking later. If you need to dust it with flour, you can do so. This has already cooled down. Let us start. What we will be needing today is not circular in shape just like the empanada. We should shape this into a rectangle. Let us lengthen it. Then let's close it. Let us enclose the pie fillings. There. Press it with your fingers. You cut the sides so that it is even. There. Let us just put pie fillings in all of these. These are the trimmings. We will combine all these and we will knead it again until it is smooth. And we will add these again. We are done putting the pie fillings in all of these. We were able to make- [counting] 67 We were able to make 67 pieces. I will return this to our refrigerator first. We will let it harden and then we will repack it so that it is not difficult to repack. Now, we are done making our peach mango pie. The next thing that we will talk about is how you will sell it for your business. Just like our empanada, The first method that we will do is what we call "ready-to-fry." So what we will do now is we will repack first. And what we need is this plastic bag for repacking. The size of this is 5 inches by 10 inches, just like the one we used in the empanada. And we also need this sealer. I will place 5 pieces in here. But if you will make this your business, it depends on you on how many pieces will you put inside. But for me, I will put 5 pieces. So now, let us start repacking. We will put all of this in the plastic first so that later, we will just seal this continuously. Let us repack all of these first. We are done repacking. With the 67 pieces we were able to make, we were able to repack it in 13 packs. And there are 2 pieces of excess. But I only repacked 6 packs. The remaining 7 packs, that will be the ones that we will fry later. We will now seal these then I will directly store it in the freezer. We are now done repacking it. Just like what I always mention before, you will place a label. I just can't show it to you properly because our printer was left in the other house. You will just put the name of the product. For example, "Tipid Tips Atbp Peach Mango Pie ala Jollibee," and your contact number on where they can contact you so that when someone wants to resell or get supply from you in bulk, they can contact you immediately. You can also include in here the cooking instructions that it is in the freezer first before cooking it. Then, also include a note that brush it first with egg before frying. The result is much better. Later, I will show you how to cook this, the better way of cooking this. Now, let's store this in our freezer. The next method that we will do in selling this, if earlier it was ready-to-fry, this one is ready-to-eat. Before frying this, you need to have one egg. There, one egg. We will add 1 tablespoon of water. Then beat the egg. And we will just brush these with egg then we will fry it afterward. Before frying the frozen pies, brush it with egg first. And now we will heat up the oil. As I always say, your strainer should be ready. It has to be deep-fried. We are now done cooking. Here it is. And we need a tray. It already depends on you on what you like to use as a container, the one that is appealing to your eyes. And I place a parchment paper in it. I will just place all of these. There, see? It is just quite dark due to frying it. It was overwhelmed by the fire. We are now done placing the peach mango pie in this tray. This is the difference when we brushed it with egg. Let me use my hand since my hands are clean. This is what it looks like when you brush it with egg. It has small bubbles in it. I also fried one which I didn't brush with egg. It is this one. This is what it looks like. It is just smooth like an empanada. There, right? This has bubbles on the outside while this has none. It is just smooth. You can opt not to brush it with egg. But for it to look nice just like the one in Jollibee, brush it with egg. I asked someone to drive-thru Jollibee to buy a peach mango pie so we can compare the two, the peach mango pie of Jollibee, and the ones we made. I asked them to buy three pieces. But their peach mango pie is placed in choco-mallow pie box because they run out of the packaging. Even Jollibee run out of packaging already. They don't have stock. There. This is the one from Jollibee. This is the peach mango pie from Jollibee. And this is the one we made. There. The frying of the pie from Jollibee is quite pale while ours was overwhelmed when it was placed in the hot oil. There, right? It's just the same. And now, let us slide the insides. Let's start with the pie from Jollibee. There. Okay. This is the pie from Jollibee. And this is ours. There. This is ours. Right, they are just the same. I placed a lot of filling. Now let's taste it. It's delicious. You can taste the peach and mango very well. It is really like the peach mango pie from Jollibee. And the bread is delicious. When you bite it, you can taste the butter. It is tasty. It is really delicious. You will surely like this. The crispiness of the outside is just right. This is delicious. For those who like peach mango pie, this is our recipe. Make your own because with 1 kilogram or ½ kilogram, you can make a lot already. For those who will ask, "what if I will only make a few?" Just divide our ingredients and it will also result in this. No joke. This peach mango pie we made, and the peach mango pie from Jollibee, their taste is not far from each other. So I hope you can try our peach mango pie recipe. How much can we really sell this since the one from Jollibee is 30 pesos each. So now, we will do the costing for us to know how much we can sell this and how much can we earn. So now, let's start. We will first calculate the ready-to-fry pies. It is this one. Let's start with the flour, 30 pesos. Sugar, 6 pesos. Evaporated milk, 21 pesos. Butter, 79 pesos. For the baking powder and salt, let us estimate these at 4 pesos. So the total capital for the dough is 140 pesos. Now let's calculate the one for the pie fillings. Mangoes, 50 pesos. Peaches, 85 pesos. Cornstarch, 5 pesos. ¾ cup of white sugar, 9 pesos. The total capital for the pie fillings is 149 pesos. Now, let's add the capital for the dough and the capital for the pie filling. 140 pesos plus 149 pesos. Let us also add our expenses for the gas and electricity, 30 pesos. Let us also add the labor, 50 pesos. So the total capital for the ingredients and other expenses is 369 pesos. For us to know the price of one piece of the peach mango pie, the capital of 369 pesos, divide it by 67 pieces we made. Our capital per piece is 5.50 pesos. You can sell this for 10 to 12 pesos per piece. That depends on you already. But I will price this at 10 pesos. Each pack has 5 pieces in it. So this costs 50 pesos per pack. That still depends on your location. One pack can cost 50 to 60 pesos but that still depends on you. I will just price this for 50 pesos. Multiply 50 pesos by 13 packs since we were able to make 13 packs earlier. So we will earn 650 pesos. Then we have 2 pieces of excess. Let us add 20 pesos more. So the total earnings that we will get is 670 pesos. Now let's deduct our capital that costs 369 pesos. But we will still add 50 pesos there for our repacking, the plastic we used, and if we will use a label. So our total capital is 419 pesos. The 670 pesos earnings, let us deduct 419 pesos there which is our capital. So we will still earn 251 pesos. That will be our income. That is from 1 kilogram only. What more if you are making 2 kilograms in one day. Let's estimate it at 2 kilograms, for the products you are able to sell every day, for example. The 451 pesos earning, multiply it by 2. So you can possibly earn 500 pesos per day with 2 kilograms. Let's multiply that by 30 days. So we can possibly earn 15,000 pesos by repacking. Now, for this ready-to-eat, you might ask how much we can sell this. We will now compute for this. Our capital for the raw product is 369 pesos. For the cooked one, we will add an additional cost for the oil, 20 pesos. Let us again add 30 pesos for the gas. And let us add 30 pesos again for the labor. But a while ago, we already have the labor cost. We will add an additional again for cooking and frying it. The total is 449 pesos. The 449 pesos capital, we will divide it by 67 pieces that we made. So our capital for one piece of this is 6.70 pesos. You can sell this for 15 to 20 pesos. The price in Jollibee is 30 pesos per piece. I will just price this at 15 pesos. 15 pesos times 67 pieces, we will earn 1,005 pesos. Let us deduct our capital of 449 pesos again. We will still add 50 pesos for repacking such as plastic bags. Just like this. I bought a quite smaller one. There. You can place 1 or 2 pieces here. I bought this for 25 pesos for 100 pieces. Sour 50 pesos estimate is too much already. Our earning worth 1,005 pesos, let us deduct 499 pesos, which is the total of our capital. So we will still earn 506 pesos when we cook it. What more if within one day, you are not only selling 1 kilogram? For example, 2 kilograms or more. Let's just say 2 kilograms. The 506 pesos earning, multiply it by 2. That will result in our possible earning of 1,012 pesos within one day if you will be able to sell every day. Let's multiply it by 30 days. In one month, you will earn 30,360 pesos. That is your income already, since we have deducted our capital, labor, electricity, and repacking. You will earn 30,360 pesos. As long as you will include hard work, perseverance and some strategy, we will surely earn from our peach mango pie since it is just very easy to make. At first, it looks like it is difficult to make. But once you try it, it is just very easy to make. It is not sensitive to make one. Unlike the others that have a specific dough-rising requirement. With this, you don't need one anymore. As long as we chill it in the refrigerator, then that's okay already. Don't sell old products so your products will be popular and your business will last. When one buys from you, and was satisfied with the taste of your peach mango pie, he or she will advertise it to their neighbors, or to their friends, that in that store, there's a delicious peach mango pie like the one in Jollibee. And it's much cheaper. Right? Now, I will just show you, so that your peach mango pie will look fancier, you can take orders online, or to your workmates, you can place it in a box. I bough a box. The size of this is 4 inches by 6 inches by 1 inch. I bought this for 6.50 pesos each. I bought it in packs. 1 pack contains 20 pieces. There. You just have to assemble it. Let's place pies in our box so that I can show you. There, see? Our peach mango pies fit well. Just put a ribbon. There. You already have an order for your online store or for your workmates. You can now sell this for 50 pesos or 55 pesos. The depends on you already. In Jollibee, the 3 pieces pies placed in a box costs 89 pesos. In your store, 50 pesos, that's reasonable already. Your income is already big there. So the price is up to you already. As long as it is in your strategy already.
