okay folks we want to show you how quick and easy it is to make a half a gallon of wine one of what you do a pert near half gallon when I say go it's what I want to start and I'm just going to look right through it but then then I'm going to it will slow it down I'll do another batch so you understand a little better be a lot more clear to you I'm just going to show you how fast so pawpaw can make yourself a half a gallon of wine all right well let's go I'm going to put half a teaspoon of yeast in my cup and a half of sugar and I'm going to take my two gallon jug of I mean my two core java juice and I'm gonna pour out two cups now there's two cups of Virginia's so that is good for two helpings of fruit for vegetables that you need today then I'm going to pour my cup and a half of sugar and my half a teaspoon of yeast into my jug of juice right here I'll put the cap back on it and then all you have to do is just shake it up until it's dissolved good thanks a lot more shake it to Matt and then you'll listen the cap to where you could hear air fizz out of folks I just made a half thing out on the why I'm not there that's cranberry flavored of course I got to shake it that's all there is to it how long did that take [Music] well how y'all doing pop off here again I'll tell you what I have certainly had a lot of questions over the past year or two about the homemade wine and and I've answered all of them several times and I wanted to make this video for you this is absolutely got to be the easiest way to make homemade wine gotta be and I want to show you show it to you is just a few simple steps what you see right here in front of you is all we need to make us just about half a gallon of wine plus give us two servings of fruit that we need to do all right I'm gonna run through it right quick and then I'll talk a little bit but after I show it to you you probably say well I've seen everything I need to say he's gonna hang up but I have a 2-quart a bottle of juice 100% juice two quart bottle I have a 16 ounce glass I know that's a 16 ounce glass because ahead of time I measured 16 ounces with my measuring cup and pour that water put water in here and I pour it in there to come right to the top so I know that 16 ounces now if I had me a quart bottle I'd used me a quart jar or something like that but I know that 16 ounces and I've got some East here that's a bread yeast it does not have to be wine makers yeast I don't care what anybody tells you you can listen to pawpaw and I've earned our tea here in a few weeks you will love this one everybody that makes this wine absolutely loves it I mean loves it okay all we're gonna do is we are going to put a cup and a half of sugar [Music] okay a cup and a half of sugar okay cup and a half I'm going to pour out some of this juice for fall and we'll shake it up a little bit make sure if there's any set of the day that we had a good juice mixture and well I'm going to pour out two cups and two cups 16 ounces and I'm gonna pour in a cup and a half sugar like I need to fall back you should have got a stick and a half a teaspoon of yeast well let people tell you you got to have winemakers yeast you don't have to have it might make a little stronger this one right here is going to be between 16 and 20 percent alcohol okay now that's all the ingredients this now the the good folks that think they know all there is to know about nutrition and what's good for you they say you should have 5 or 6 servings a fruit and vegetables a day well I reckon I'm gonna help you get healthy because that 16-ounce glass is two servings of fruits so whenever you go to make you a batch of land you pour you out a 16-ounce what a see you got a couple of servings afraid for the Betty how's that you know so you make you up a half a gallon of wine and everybody you keep getting your servings of fruit and vegetables now when you think you've got this all resolved all shook up real good shake it up some more one harder thing well this shake food out of all we're doing is dissolved and sugar yeast and this is the last time you're going to shake this Jill you need to go shake it again you ain't going disturb it gonna leave it along set it somewhere warm set it somewhere dark if you can okay and then what you want to do is you want that bottle loose enough account loosen up that you can hear air come out of it whenever you squeeze it and if you watch carefully you see little cow jumping up and down one of my viewers said that I think you think about that but the whole idea behind this leaving this cap on will bit loose is to keep bugs out of it that's all it's force to keep bugs out and you have it loose so that the gas can escape now what I have done right there is I've mixed us up about a half a gallon of wine notice that I've got my headspace in here because I pulled out two cups of juice and I put back in one and a half cups of sugar but your sugar will condense down to two one so what I mean by that is one cup of sugar when it's wet will condense down to a half a cup as far as volume and so by taking out the two cups of juice and then a cup and a half of sugar we've got our headspace built in because if you had this full it way up here and it starts working and foaming and a foam out you get and your lid get its tug and it's sealed this thing starts swelling up boom beer down green wine all over the place when is it done when can I drink it pop Paul will it get you drunk well here's here's answers to a bunch of questions number one when can I drink it you drink at any time you won't tell you but if you don't want to get to run and poops to the toilet wait until it's done how how do I know if it's Dylan the top of this wine will look like a stale cup of coffee it'll be just a smooth across the top there won't be the first sign of a bubble anywhere I mean it to be dead calm well they gave me drunk this line will be 16 to 20 percent alcohol the line you buy at a store is 10 to 12 percent so you do the figure for each sale this is 50 percent stronger 50 to 75 percent or more stronger but it's so sweet it's so good I like it now this is a sweet wine if you prefer your wine not to be quite as sweet despite my batch first make it like I show you first then experiment with it you will find that different juices will have different sweetnesses because some of them inherently have a lot of fructose in them before you added the granulated sugar you can do this with any liquid there is period any liquid even water look at my most peculiar wine video if you they're all based on the exact same formula here I just show a few different techniques but I wanted to go ahead and get this simplified just as simple as I could possibly get it so anybody can be successful making their first batch of homemade wine so I'm sorry just to sound like a repeating of a stunt record here but I'm going to tell you one more time now it's so very simple pour out 2 cups pour in a cup and a half of sugar pour in 1/2 a teaspoon of yeast put the lid on it shake it up real good shake it shake it shake it shake it - all the sugar in it has dissolved when it has dissolved when you're done with it loosen the cap just enough that when you squeeze the bottle a cap a jump like that right there or you can click here to adhere it I bought this juice at the local Aldi grocery store you can find 2 quart bottles of juice all over try this don't try to go out and make 5 gallons at one time try this first see if you like it then if it's too sweet you'll cut back on your sugar on the next batch not sweet enough at you I promise you you will like this one you will become a winemaking food you won't ever buy no more my wife I think she likes wine she likes that one and she'd been buying that inexpensive wine and walmart and everywhere else and she got in a one batch of ice - oh this is good so now she really likes it so I hope I've helped you I don't mean to run my mouth a long long time but I just want to show you it's so simple don't don't be scared of it try what have you got to lose two dollars and a half on a jug of juice and 30 cents worth of sugar nickels are
