you may be seated proverbs 23 this is an often misquoted somewhat misquote adverse but it's not really hard to understand and it's a profound word from the wise writer of Proverbs paraphrasing it a bit when you sit down to eat with the world when you have to interact with the world and all the powers and the riches and the different elements that exist in this world be very careful when you do that verse number 6 puts it this way eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye neither desire thou his dainty meats now if you catch verse 4 look at it it says labor not to be rich cease from thine own wisdom wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not be careful don't pursue something that isn't real or that it isn't satisfying it doesn't work it doesn't provide salvation it doesn't provide peace doesn't provide hope so will thou set the Heian eyes upon that which is not for riches certainly make themselves wings they fly away as an eagle toward heaven he thought not the bread of him that hath an evil eye neither desire thou his dainty meats and then we come to verse 7 for as a man thinketh in his heart so is he eat and drink and saith he to thee but his heart is not with thee now there is a very deep and challenging thought be careful careful about this world its philosophies its thinking be careful how you look at riches and position and power and influence and all the things connected with the world because it's possible that the world talks to us in a way in which we cannot fully understand it just as the wisemen describes it as setting with the certain sort of man this selfish kind of worldly person who does not really reveal his heart doesn't really tell you who he is he speaks to you in lies be careful you when you set down with his dainty meats that you understand that he's not giving you the full measure the full revelation of his heart as a man thinketh however in his heart not how he speaks not what he says but what he thinks in his heart that's who he really is so you as a child of God as a righteous man a person that's interested in things honest and holy be careful because as the world thinks in their heart so is the world it's not all together what they say it's what they actually think now how can you know what a man or a person is thinking in their hearts someone said it it's not in the Bible I don't think exactly this way but actions you do know that don't you actions it's one thing for a man to say I am thus and so I am this or that but actions speak louder than words what people do reveals to us what they really have in their heart if we love people we express that love for God so love he didn't love it from some distance we couldn't even describe where heaven is or where God dwells where is the darling place of God but God wherever that dwelling place was did not remain aloof he did not remain distracted he did not mean he did not remain just a creator that looked down upon us and felt sorry for us but God so loved us his creation that He gave His only begotten Son he came because he loved us and died for us that we might have life and I know the explanation in a doctrinal or theological sense is more complicated than I will say it today but let's just put it in the way that we can really appreciate it that's what Christmas really should be about especially for us is that God loved us he gave himself for us that we might have life he not only taught the game of love he acted it out and here's the crises here's the crises for our day as it pertains to Christmas as it pertains to spirituality as it pertains to church as it pertains to our lives our marriages our interactions with one another here's the main thing what is really in our hearts that's always the big question that's the big question in every business deal what is this man really thinking what is in his heart that's the question when a person comes to the altar that's the question that God is trying to get you to acknowledge he doesn't just want you to come and sign the book and say well I'm willing to join the church he's interested in knowing what is in your heart you understanding what is in your heart now God looks on the heart he knows a man by what is in the heart we have to wait for the man to act before we really know but God knows your heart before you act he knows who you really are if you love your wife and if your wife loves you you're going to know it by their actions their sensitivity and all those kinds of things so here we are here we are in this complicated world and we can't Bishop much we can't just sit down and have a conversation with the world as if we can kind of work it all out because we already can see that when the world decides to express itself I thought it was interesting when the world decides to express itself it kind of weighs out where are the numbers how can we get this done according to our own agendas and ideas we're fighting a great battle now with what we sometimes referred to as the homosexual agenda but it's different than that I noticed the paper today had another huge story the Indianapolis Star I'm not sure if you should even take the Indianapolis Star it's getting a little wearisome and I noticed there was a little pushback today by Kurt Smith who is Kurt Smith is the president of the Indiana Institute he says now we're coming up to a new General Assembly here in Indiana and some are threatening to do this or that he's got a long article about threatening more and more of the rights of Christians more and more the ideas of righteousness and holiness he says and we have put a new lawsuit into place against the state of Indiana this lawsuit serves notice that we are ready to fight back our founding our founding freedoms must be protected for all Hoosiers and includes all Hoosiers regardless of their bent sexually or regardless of their religious beliefs he's talking about all all people he's also talking about Christians and he makes note that something really horrible is happening around the country and also in the state of Indiana which is very evident if you could get close to politicians you would know that this is true there is a and he puts it this way he said there is a Stila t to people of faith in in government and it's beginning to show up in government a hostility toward Christianity see you can't just sit down with this world you can't set down with Hollywood and say well you know we're gonna be able to get along we're gonna be able to get along with all the manufacturers of the video games that our children are almost inevitably addicted to in some cases we can't just set down casually and think we can believe everything that Hollywood says to our children and to our minds and hearts and certainly know just stay with me on this is a Christmas sermon it's very important you know that we we we understand the Christmas story more in the con not just in the context of the camels and and Bethlehem we need to understand that Christmas was about a message it was about an act of deliverance it was about the redemption of the world through the coming of Jesus Christ it was about a hope for mankind it was an answer to the sin problem can I get a witness for God so loved the world he came to this world to redeem the world that the world through him might be transformed and made into new creatures but you cannot just sit down with this world and believe everything that the world says to you in the old the old wise men said it in Proverbs yes you can sit and you can eat the dainty meats and you think that you know but you really don't know until you analyze carefully what is in the heart of the man with whom you are having dinner for it is in the heart that you discover the real nature of the problem in the situation it's in the heart of our culture it's in the heart of our people in there is where we discover what I appreciate everybody that's trying to solve please don't take this the wrong way I do understand all the people maybe many people are honest and sincere about gun control other people are sincere about this action were sincere about education of course and helping and poverty and all those things but the real problem of our of our society today is the of the human heart because the hearts are turned toward the world the hearts are turned to work in morality and unrighteousness and godlessness and until we can fix the heart as a man thinketh in his heart how do we know he acts it out he lives it out when someone can just walk into a room and slaughter and rape and kill you've got to say how can this happen it's an affection it's more than affliction it is a disastrous calamity in the heart and the mind of the reasoning and the rationale of a human being this is not a game we're playing today this is serious business what's happening in our schools is serious business I personally was happy I understand it I can I can rationalize with the woman teaching the geography class this past week and she gives the assignment she called it geography and she gave the assignment of writing out the conversion vows of Islamic religion in calligraphy how many saw that article you saw that article and this was a little effort to help in her idea of it the teacher's idea of it was that young people could be taught that there was a difference between Christianity and Islamic ISM and so forth and this would be good and so we'll have all the kids write in calligraphy they'll copy calligraphy and the calligraphy the message of the calligraphy will be of course the opening statements of a conversion and there was a little girl that just said I will not do that I don't know who she was I don't know what church she went to but here's another young person thank God for young people with conviction like our young lady down in Kentucky that says I'm sorry I just won't do that so here's another little girl says no I'm not gonna write that down I'm not gonna take that bow not even gonna write it I understand it's a geography class and finally the whole town gets stirred up thank God thank God somebody's saying I'm glad that mr. Smith was that his name of the family a family group here I'm glad he's sending out the warning to all the politicians we are planning on doing a little kickback here we are planning on saying wait a minute we object to that because we know we can't just listen to what you say aren't you kind of tired like most Americans of people that tell you they're going to do such and such but they do the very opposite they're gonna protect Christianity and values and religious freedoms but they do the very opposite they're gonna lower taxes but they do the very opposite they're gonna reduce your health bills but they do the very opposite what kind of chaos is developing while Bible says it this way you can't really know a man's heart until you watch his actions you're not a Christian if you're lying to your friends and your neighbors and your wife and your husband that doesn't make you a Christian your actions speak louder than your words as a man thinketh that's the way he really is and we've got to get a hold of this because these are very serious times can I get a witness now maybe I should just stop right here we all go home and you have to forgive me for this and thank you for the Christmas gift I'm glad I got it before I preached and that was a joke I don't know if anybody I could preach to that's more supportive but listen even those of us who consider ourselves the most spiritual there is a possibility that we could lose our nerve and our verb in these last days there is a possibility that we could just get weakened in our soul and in our mind because it's hard to get hammered every day by your parents and hard to get hammered every day by your friends and relatives it's hard today to go to a shall we say a family reunion this is not true in every case but in many cases people are going to family reunions and especially holiness people and apostolic people you're getting hammered your children are getting hammered sometimes your old uncle your old brother your old brother-in-law will take your own little children inside and try to indoctrinate them we live in a very wicked word I've got a question for this world today what's wrong with holiness not everybody that practices holy holiness is participating in self righteousness holiness is an expression of what is in our heart an expression that says we want to do the will of God we want to walk uprightly we want to walk in honesty we want to walk in purity not that we're perfect not that we're self righteous but we know that God has done something in our lives that's transformed us and made of us new creatures oh I wish somebody would preach with me just a little while today it's time to get our nerve back it's trying to get our witness back it's time to get our faith back it's time to get our power back and open up our hearts and open up our Bibles and open up our mouths and preach the word because I can hear the Holy Ghost say if I be lifted up I'll draw them in somebody's got to find a church somewhere that will preach Christ and him crucified somebody's got to find a man or a woman somewhere that will take a stand and say here's where I draw the line here is the place where I stand to fight the good fight of faith to resist the devil to flee from unrighteousness and to teach and train my family in the right way and in the proper way you say well I got a computer but your data is not enough you need character the computer cannot save us we're on a path of damnation with the computer in a matter of fact because more evil men have controlled it than good men it didn't take them long to get a hold of it god help us we need the strength and stamina to keep on keepin on this is not a time to go to church less for Satan not be assembling of yourself together even though more so as you see in other words intensify your efforts the were the world gets the church ought to be reaching out with a strong and saying we better get to an extra prayer meeting we better throw in some revival we better get some we better get rid of these 15 minutes servants and get some one-hour sermons we you know come on stay with me now you know what I'm trying to say come on church you need to get ready for this fight you need to take a stand something needs to happen in your heart something if it happens in your heart will happen in your home if it happens in your heart it'll happen in your culture to happen on your job God wants to bless somebody in this place that wants to help somebody in this place God wants to transform somebody's life and heal your heart mend the situation in the circumstances well you say I just feel sorry for people be careful parents that you don't just pity your children guide your children I love that article III love it because it in a self-righteous way justified my whole parental philosophy Wall Street Journal this week says when you're playing Monopoly with your children do not let them win now I practice that all of my children I tried to help him win but if they were that stupid I didn't I just went ahead and whoop I just went ahead it's a bad trade I would give him advice deny give him advice but they wouldn't take the advice and they lost and I just and sister Mooney could they can never beat her because she well I ain't to say it but she cheated most of the times yeah she had we had to work on that because she had an extra an extra stack of money that she you know you could go to the store in those days and just buy monopoly money yeah so you can have some extra hundred she never ran out of hundreds even I couldn't figure that out for years how does she get all these hundreds I didn't see you get that well don't misunderstand the point just because of the humor here but on the more serious side it was an interesting article probably can get it on the Internet Wall Street Journal just a couple days ago the idea was not about monopoly of course it was about the concept of how you rear your children be careful there's some advice that we need to take not only as Christians but as parents and really buckle down and say look we're in a we're in a real serious age right now a real serious time let me just say this I don't think parents should make the salvation of a child the least important thing in the house I don't think you should coddle children at the expense of righteousness if your son is a smart aleck and a bully in school take care of them if he goes to school and he uses nasty words take care of it if you don't you should and will and I will because you don't coddle your children and make them believe that righteousness is not important coming to church is important I didn't have to get up on Sunday morning and wonder if my folks were going to go to church we just started getting ready early too because we had a long drive 40 miles I wish I had some help peace on earth goodwill toward men series time parents don't ever sacrifice don't ever sacrifice the idea the principles the thoughts the teaching of salvation set standards in your family we will be in the house of God it is well noted you can look this up for yourself children seldom rise above the convictions of their family they seldom rise above the attitude of their family that's a terrible thing even the maturity level is often controlled by the maturity of the parents themselves they have to be careful with this whole thing monitoring being with our children healing them and helping them and administrating them and we must never lose our nerve the church must never lose its nerve a church it preaches holiness and righteousness and lifts up the ideas that were presented to us and acts the second chapter you must never lose your nerve to preach that preach it in season hello preach it in season and preach it wouldn't its popular to reach it if it becomes unpopular just keep on preaching it know who you are what you stand for because until we are prepared to acknowledge that we do not know this world we're starting to find out more and more about this world and our politicians and our leaders we're starting to find out more about how many undercover are non-christians agnostics and atheists who hate everything connected to religion and righteousness and maybe it is time to fight back in ways that are pure of course and good I can tell you this no preacher no father no mother can change a church a family a culture unless you really have it in your own heart unless you have the passion to take a stand you will never change anybody you have to have a caring attitude and you must have an intellectual hunger for children to know the truth you shall know the truth and it shall make you free let me put it to you a different way you will not change a smart-aleck child until you get fed up until you finally say let me tell you this darling daughter let me tell you this you bratty little boy we're not going to take this any more you're not gonna come in and insult your mother you're not gonna come in and lie to us I can I can still see my mother leaning against the door when I was trying to explain something towards she knew I was lying and so she said you know I can't believe that you would stand right here she was leaning against the door and my mother was never a real small little lady she was just leaning against the door she said let me tell you something to chew on let me tell you something to think about you're standing here lying to your mother I gave birth to you one of those really horrible speeches that ever child that speech that goes like I brought you in I can take you out but she put it much deeper than that how could you lie how could you stand there and lie what kind of child are you and then mother asks this question what is in your heart anyway what kind of heart do you have see she knew to attack the issue of the heart you said well I would never talk to my child like that why so just let him lie let him do this let him get away with everything don't ever confront them is that that's your philosophy it will not work until you get enough passion and enough desire to say something like Jesus said when he walked into the temple and saw them trading saw them cheating saw them what was he doing to the money they were twisting the money they were cheating people in the money exchange is what I'm trying to moneychangers and he said something not in this house not in this house he knew what was in their heart because they participated they went along to get along not in this house he says there's a difference between you and I I have to give an account for every word that's preached of course not only must I save myself from this untoward generation but I must give an account of everything I say to you is that not right that's why I say to young men unless you're really called to preach don't take that assignment because you're gonna have to be responsible for what you preach not only what you preach in terms of some technical element but in terms of what you preach and if you preach in such a way that causes people to believe a lie it's duplicitous and much preaching today as duplicitous you're not really sure what the guy saying so or you're left to draw your own conclusions because some things are with enticing words men's wisdom and it's double it's kind of a double whammy it causes you to believe see I cannot be saved unless I preach the truth preachers if they have any sense of consciousness of all should not be preaching unless they have a calling and if they have a calling they're going to be judged by that going I hear one preacher saying woe is me if I preach not the gospel woe is me if I preach not the gospel of Jesus Christ and him crucified I can't just preach about Christ as the sea as the positive CEO like the good book it's not a bad book but it's not a right book because Jesus didn't come to just give you some pattern of positive thinking he came to set you free free free from walk free from sin he came to make you an overcomer he came to give you peace and joy and righteousness in the Holy Ghost he came to put a song in your heart he came to baptize you with His Holy Spirit that you might walk uprightly and wake up every morning with a song in your heart and with an understanding that heaven is the gold heaven is the gold and it's gonna make a way for you so I say parents until we get until churches get to the point where we say that we hate sin and we hate the things that are evil we will not change churches we will not change lives we will not change our children can I get a witness alder Isaac wrote a book about Steven jobs simon and schuster 2011 the famous multi multi multi billionaire perhaps one of the most influential men in modern times Steven jobs he talks about death in his garden he talks about his study of Buddhism he begins to talk about this is shortly before his death reincarnation and spiritual power he said I'm in my 50s late 50s he was and I'm kind of uh I'm kind of unsure about God he said I'm kind of 50/50 most of my life I felt that there must be more to our existence than what meets the eye I'd like to think that something survives after you die he said it's strange to think that you accumulate all this experience and it just goes away so I really want to believe that something survives maybe your consciousness will endure of course here he's reflecting his study in Buddhism he fell silent for a very long time but on the other hand he said it's like an on-and-off switch click and you're gone then he paused for even a longer period of time and to his biographer biographer he smiled gently and slightly and said maybe that's why I never liked to put an on-and-off switch on an Apple product he finally capitulated on that interesting maybe there is something else this brings up a powerful point it doesn't matter how hard you try to practice atheism it doesn't matter how hard men tried to practice this religion or that religion that puts them in control of their own spirituality and today's young people has a very nice little phrase that they somehow ease their conscience with by saying well I really don't go to church and I really don't know if I believe in God but I'm still spiritual I still have a spiritual side to me and they invent their own spirituality maybe maybe we need to just understand that even though you can say that and in an argument somewhere in a coffee shop or at Starbucks it all sounds so very cool but Jesus looks down way down God looks down into the heart and he determines what your real motives are and what your real desires are and most people that want to get a counter idea about God some kind of alternative concept of God are usually desirous of some kind of life in which there is no authority there's no word there's no righteousness there's nothing absolute and every day the indoctrination of our students both in our public schools and in our universities continue to pull down the high ideas and drag our children to the lowest possible point and we sit around sipping and wining and dining we pull up our chairs to the screens we buy into the philosophies in the hopes of this world and the wise men said be careful there when you eat those Daini meats you don't know the heart you don't know the heart this world has a heart it has an objective it has an agenda worldliness is a dangerous thing and you cannot be neutral god you got to know that you know and you've got to be completely committed to it or it's never ever ever gonna work out for you and job said you know I've always tried to avoid the on and off switch cuz he said really deep down I don't believe it's just on and off I believe it's deeper that it is appointed unto man wants to die but don't stop there it's appointed unto man once to die and after death the judgment and job says that's why I always fought the on and off button you will meet God you will give an account for the things done in the flesh that's my job on this Christmas on this christmas service to remind you that Jesus did not come just to give us a great festival on December 25th we don't know it when he was born anyway but we don't need to call it that it's all right to celebrate the birth on December the 25th suits me fine but he did not come to give us a holiday he came that the world through him might have a solution might have piece by piece and that piece is delivered to us through the power of the Holy Ghost every Pentecost a lot to know that just going to church does not give you peace I love maps but we do not need just flat maps all together sometimes you need a map that really shows you everything a relief map for an example is different than just a map that you buy the drugstore a map it's just an atlas that shows you where the roads are and everything looks flat if you get a flat map that you buy you can look at going across the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and it just looks like any other highway shooting across Colorado but if you get a relief map it's totally different the relief map is shows you how high the mountains are and we're the little curves and the valleys are and you can actually take your finger in a relief map and you can say wow look at that military doesn't just use flat maps they use relief maps what I'm trying to do for you today is to give you a Christmas gift don't try to play out your life with a just a flat map and say oh nothing to this because every one of us have trials and maps are ups and downs our map of life is filled with all kinds of things things have a beautiful godly sister felt today last night the middle of night broke her tailbone I think hip broke her hip they're gonna operate on her she was in a brutal automobile accident it's almost killed her and then on top of that the man was standing over her with a gun prepared to shoot her to make sure she had died in that car accident this is what I mean by a relief map how could you live for God all of your life and if all you looked at your life and your life was just a flat map you never would have seen the hill that you were going to face after you were already 77 years old you were gonna face this horrible his horrible crash and then this horrible man this demonic person standing over you thank God a neighbor arrived in time to say what are you doing what is that gun all about there's no question he was there to shoot her he had two million dollars worth of ammunition and guns stored in his house he would have gone to the Greenville Police Department he was on his way he was loading his car with automatic guns and rifles two million dollars worth that was how much they drew in the sale he had spent a lot more money than two million dollars he had that much ammunition he was headed down to the end to the Greenville Police Department and his wife said you can't do this and he said I'm gonna go down and I'm gonna kill every police officer in Hancock County he couldn't have done that of course but he could have gotten a good number and he wasn't a Muslim he grew up with hatred he grew up sipping the wine and eating the delicacies never knowing what Satan's agenda was as a man thinketh in his heart so is he this is what Christ came to do he didn't come to give us another row of jingle bells he came to deliver us from sin that we might have life and you can resent wholeness and holiness preaching all you want to but I pray that you never get to me as much as I love you I want to be saved so God helped me to find the courage to preach the word and to be instant in season and out of season so his wife not knowing what to do grab one of his own guns it was loaded and she picked it up he was standing there just as goofy-looking as could be described so she tells the story and she said I'm gonna shoot you tell me you are not going to go down to the police department mr. Wilkins he refused to give up his darkness and that woman took her gun his gun and shot him and shot him until he died when the police finally got there and saw that arsenal of weapons for the very first time they didn't even press charges when you sat down to eat at the table of Hollywood in this world when you want less god less Church let's worship less this lest that I warn you I warn you that when you dine with the devil you're going to discover what's in his heart and it will not make you happy but I hear the Holy Ghost a Jesus has a table spread where the saints of God effect he invites his chosen people come and dine isn't that good because we know what's in his heart we know that he loved us that he cared for us that God the Creator I know it's hard to get your mind around all the imagery and we have so much imagery don't don't really fight the people that you know drew up a lot of imagery that dominates us today I'm talking about you know the manger scene and all that remember back in those ancient times they had no way of really communicating many people could not read imagery was the way they communicated we got stuck with some bad imagery but it's okay because now that the Holy Spirit speaks to you you kind of know you kind of know it wasn't a perfect little stable you know kind of no it wasn't a perfect little scene you get the big point Jesus came to spread a table come and dine I don't know Steve Jobs art but I hope he found God somewhere I really do I hope everybody finds God I hope you find him can I get a little witness here how many are glad you went to a meeting and God filled you with the Holy Ghost how many are glad that you know Jesus in the power of his resurrection you know him as the giver of life and even though he did not just give you a flat life he gave you a life filled with all kinds of hills and mountains and turns and curves but nevertheless brother barkis his peace his help his strength you say well why can't we just do away with the trials in the upsets I don't know I can tell you one thing my sister is communicating with her family at a level she never communicated with them before sure that I'm sure that you think people miss it they don't miss it if you're faithful and you have a right attitude and I'm not talking now to self-righteous smart-aleck Christians I'm talking about people that walk humbly before God and consistently before God it may not be tomorrow but someday your family will figure it all out and they'll know that you made the right choice I'm glad to be saved I'm glad to be it's not just a Christmas it's not just Christmas it's a revelation the master call us come and I like this you may feast Jesus [Music] [Applause] [Music] stand with the calibers singing with me the master [Applause] look at this you may face dear baby Jesus table [Music] [Applause] [Music] we're gonna sing that through again and when we get to that line to the hungry call us now if you got the situation you need to sit down and talk to God about it you know what I mean you need to talk to somebody you can trust somebody whose heart has already been demonstrated he lapses for God so loved the world we already know the dimension and the means by which we love so when we get to them I'm coming down to stand with you even now I'm gonna stay up here but I'm down with you because I got a lot of things I need to talk over with Jesus I got a lot of things in my life I'm not living on a flat map flatmap are you are you walking on a flat mat is your life just flat come on now we got curves and when you run you really live your life you can feel it like this is a relief oh god this is gonna be a rough day getting over I got to get over the Rocky Mountains today but you're gonna make it and if God be for you who can be against so come master now we're getting ready feast Jesus [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] the Holy Ghost right here tonight juvie this morning you can get a praise through that [Music] [Applause] [Music] now Brad Crawford is going to be baptized in just a few minutes ready his brother ransoms grandson let's thank the Lord for that and if we will get ready the baptismal team that has prepared god bless come on make a little noise so happy [Music] coming down coming down everybody here this needs to be baptized this would be a good moment come and die ahead of your life you may be statues [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] now is there singing softly I want you to believe with me I feel later the Lord just to pray a general prayer for all of us you're on that you're really starting to get a revelation of the fact there's a few bumps in the road you know what I'm talking about there's some hard things in the road but that's alright that's the way God makes you stronger without tension you never get the muscles to build them that's why you take little children make a walk if you leave them in the crib yo and if God leaves you without testing and trials you will become crippled you will never know mentally psychologically spiritually that he's away maker if you came and talked to me today and said I'd like to have an appointment I have to resist the temptation every preacher knows what I'm talking about brother turn you have to resist the temptation saying well I went through that you know I know a little bit about that you try not to do that because you wear people out but all of us have been through trials all of us have had to fight through the storms all of us have dealt with this effect could I tell you something it's gonna be all right cuz God's honest with you dine master he's honestly I'm gonna pray raise your hand if you need a touch god I'm asking you we know we're just a few days away from Christmas but help us to take a deeper look and what this is all about your coming your birth we don't need to rehearse got all the traditional stories to be a celebrant at Christmas but we do God need to look to you so as these are lifting up their hands here this moment needing Marika's needing answers needing intervention I pray for them God I pray for mothers and fathers that are struggling with rearing of their children just fighting these the spirits that are in the world too many olives I pray for those today that are just up against tremendous financial situations break loose every chain that's keeping them from prospering and bring prosperity in their life teach them the principles of godly financing and help them to overcome in the name of Jesus we pray God we pray for those that are sick those that are sick in ways that they never could have imagined they never could have dreamed we all know what that feels like that I'll help us and give us straight to get through the battles to fight through those that have been separated from family because of their faith lack of understanding restore relationships God and I pray for this beautiful group of young men and women in this church over 80 some children were in that little choir God at the beginning of the service and touch those children helped us to be good parents of my parents and these teenagers that are here this morning bless them and touch them Jesus name come brother barber God as he feeds this group of young people give him strength and Monti Jesus name we pray for victory in this church god we thank you forever policeman we thank you forever firemen we thank you forever good and honest politician and there are many that are struggling with the problems of our culture but God we know that it's going to take a revival of your anointing pour out the Holy Ghost on the city of Indianapolis in Jesus name Oh in the name of Jesus Church said a man do you know that one night there was such a big crowd at Christ temple that they call the police people were standing outside speaking in tongues blacks and whites were worshipping together it was a according to the paper [Music] it was a black one of the black bishops was break for a white girl trying to rebuke the spirit a police officer came up a racist came up and tried to tell this man get your hands off of that woman and when he did that there was a great fear that came upon the police one man claimed that he saw some kind of light stood over Christ in her this was never verified but he emphatically made the statement and the policeman became so frightened by the anointing of the Holy Ghost that they walked out and as they were leaving according to the newspaper they said leave these people alone something's in this booze would you like to see God do that one Jesus has it tables now I'm not trying to build up some kind of tradition you know we're not gonna duplicate that but for our day and for our time God knows exactly how to move to awaken the city and I believe this is a good place for great outpouring of the Holy Ghost this next year maybe we'll start with just some old-fashioned healing services and just praying for folks to get them in here so we can talk to them about Jesus and put everything in the hands of God cuz I know we can trust the Bible we can trust Jesus so one more time let's just ask God
