joyful noise unto the Lord and stop [Music] hallelujah the Bible said dance before the Lord [Applause] leap and pour the law clap your hands before the Lord raise your arms before the Lord hallelujah hallelujah God you deserve all our praise yes yes yes yes I don't have a clue what Sunday night football game is on right now and I really don't care either but let me tell you what there's folks at that football game that's outdoing us there's folks that right now if we had a TV in here and could turn it on the camera will be going around a stadium of 60 80 thousand people and there'll be people screaming louder than you are clapping harder than you do jumping higher than your jumping beaten a person beside them on the back because somebody got a couple yards that's all we're not talking about bloodshed at a football game we're not talking about a life give it we're not talking about somebody that died for my sins we're not talking about somebody that made me free that made me home we're not talking about somebody that's so transformed my life that I'm not I used to be oh you ought to be giving it all you've got right now don't you let some football fan I'll worship you [Applause] [Music] somebody somebody for glory [Music] [Applause] how's he ever healed two bodies has he put your marriage back together did he save your children and he saved yourself did he give you a better job a better place to live did he pick you up out of the miry clay and set your feet up on a rock to Spain [Music] yes yes yes yes yes oh my lord what a way to end 2019 we're accused of a lot of things around here you know that right you know what we've never been accused of nobody's ever referred to Bible world as the First Church of the Frigidaire nobody ever refers to Bible world as twice dead plucked up come on somebody I'm glad I belong to a church that still believes in worship I said that still believes in worship I like that old song I don't know what you came to do but I came to praise the Lord [Music] halleluja halleluja my I'm glad you're here tonight I'm glad you came to worship tonight does anybody beside me feel the wonderful spirit that's in the house of the Lord what a beautiful beautiful presence of the Lord what a beautiful people that God has given us to go to church with turn to somebody and tell them you and God make this a great Church to belong to would you do that and then you may be seated praise God praise God I do want to remind you before I start preaching tonight that on Tuesday night New Year's Eve night at 11 o'clock I will be in the sanctuary praying and I'm inviting as many of you as can or will to come and join me for prayer on that night we'll be praying at least till midnight probably to a quarter after 12:30 but we're going to pray the old year out and pray the new year in anybody that asks you when you go back to work what did you do New Year's night I want you to be able to tell him I was in a red-hot Apostolic prayer meeting that all right I have said that it's fine for ladies mothers of small children especially two to stay at home and pray at home if you'd like to I sure don't want any ladies out on the road by themselves that late at night it is the number one drinkin tomfoolery night of the whole year and so ladies if you will come with your husband or father or something like that or carpool with different groups so that our ladies are not out by themselves that late at night but everybody that wants to join me here at 11 o'clock on Tuesday evening and we're going to have us an apostolic prayer meeting can you say man are you excited about what God is doing at Bible World Church are you excited about the door of opportunity that God is opening for us my subject tonight is walking through the open door tonight walking through the open door tonight I'm not going to ask us to consider walking through the door sometime in 2020 I'm not going to ask us to take a week or two to think about it or pray about it and it's another Bible study but you know there's some things you don't need to pray about hello there's some things that don't require one syllable of Prayer for example if it says it in the book what are you praying about hello and so I'm asking you tonight to walk through the open door tonight elbow your neighbor gently and say tonight in the book of first Corinthians chapter 16 and verse number 9 the new english translation of the scripture it says a door of great opportunity stands wide open for me a door of great opportunity stands wide open for me that's what I feel in my spirit God hadn't just cracked the door I got a feeling God has swung the door wide open and it's ready for you and me to walk through the door 2nd Corinthians 2 and 12 says this when I came to Troas Paul is speaking when I came to throw as to preach the good news of Christ the Lord gave me a good opportunity there a door opened for me by the Lord in the book of Revelation chapter 3 and verse numbers the amplified version said and to the angel the divine messenger of the Church of Philadelphia right these are the words of the Holy One the true one listen to this who opens and no one will be able to shut and who shuts and no one opens revelation three and eight the next verse God said I have set before you an open door which no man shall be able to shut now I'm walking away from my notes because there's a couple of things I want to say at the opening here tonight that I want you to hear me clearly on and that is that we are standing in the divine presence in a divine time and we're hearing a divine word from God I want you to understand how powerful the moment is I want you to understand how many churches today of all stripes just had Church they're still in holiday mode they're not worried about 2020 they don't have a word from God they don't even remember the last time they had a word from God but that's not you you're part of a church that God speaks to often you're a part of a church that God shows up and allows us to feel his spirit every time we come together he said we're two or three of you are gathered together in my name I'm going to be in the midst of you does anybody feel like he's here tonight oh I do and I've come to tell you tonight that God has opened a door before us that there's not a devil in hell that can shut maybe I need to preach there for just a minute maybe some believe it and some don't do you know the Bible said greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world hold on before you shout the shouters have got it let me preach to the non shouters are you ready for this greater is He that is in you then he that is in the world I'm going to declare to you tonight there is not another power in this universe that is great as the power that's in you there's not not in the not in the Supreme Court not in any military not in any country not in sin not any devil anywhere there is no power equal to the power that dwells in you greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world he said behold I give you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all a ll o all means all hello all means all and over all the power of the enemy and God said and nothing shall by any means harm you what are you trying to say brother Cunningham God told me God put it in my spirit he said I'm opening a door before you that no man can shut there's no devil can shut it there's no authority in this earth that can shut it what God is doing in us and for us no man can shut it somebody clap your hands and shout yes I guess I should forewarn you tonight that I am preaching with a very specific purpose I have come tonight to challenge you and me to willingly walk through the door of opportunity that God has opened to us I've come tonight to challenge you I'm gonna use all of my 300 and none of your business pounds I'm gonna I'm gonna put everything I got in it I'm gonna put every ounce of my strength in it I'm gonna cry I'm gonna pray I'm gonna laugh I'm gonna jump I'm gonna stomp I'm gonna swing my arm I'm gonna do whatever I got to do tonight to get this church to step up and say preacher I'm stepping through that door tonight I'm walking into a new dimension tonight I've made my mind up it's not any time to sit back it's no time to wait it's no time to consider it's time to step through the door somebody shout yes I've made my mind up as long as I am pastor of this church I am going to be laser focused on Bible world becoming the most powerful Apostolic Church possible I will never be content with yesterday's victories I'm thankful for yesterday's victories but I am NOT content with yesterday's victories I'm thankful for what God did yesterday last week last month last year last decade we're going to testify about it we're going to build faith about it but I promise you I don't think I've seen the greatest he has to offer yet I don't think I've yet seen the greatest miracle I don't think I've yet seen the biggest number get the Holy Ghost I don't think we've yet built the biggest building we're gonna build I don't think we've yet seen how God wants to turn a city upside down somebody needs to hear me it's burning inside of me tonight it's about time to walk into a new dimension it's about time to get a hold of what God has for us somebody shout yes shout yes I want this church to be a biblically correct apostolic church I want us to be a James 1:27 caring Church Bible said pure religion and undefiled before God and the father is this to visit the fatherless and the widows in their affliction I want us to be a caring Church and hear me when I tell you I am never more proud of this term then when we're doing that when we're showing that we care genuinely care about people when we're showing that we're people that are not so self-centered that we can't see beyond the end of our own nose when we realize that we're people that were willing to share a slice of the orange when I told you that story of that little boy I was told it's a true story of a little boy in an orphanage it got no orange all the other orphan kids each gave him a slice until he had one whole orange itself and I said to this church wouldn't it be wonderful if we just share a little slice of the blessing that God has given to us to people indeed I didn't take an offering I didn't put out an offering basket I didn't exciting 'king even that anybody was going to give but do you know that this great church brought up over three thousand thirty one hundred and fifty dollars in cash and online that would be given we helped so many kids gave every kid a hundred dollar Christmas present we went shopping for him we packed it up and wrapped it for him we didn't say from Bible world we made the gift from mom and dad and delivered him to the house and told mom and dad just give them to the kids we took groceries to people we took stockings to people we paid people's bills that were ready to be put out of their residence I want us to be a book of hacks Church I want us to be an Apostolic Church I want us to be a James 1:27 caring Church I want us to be a Matthew 16 and 18 Jesus named church I said a Jesus named church jesus said to Simon Peter upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it somebody here tonight ought to thank God that you have a revelation of name of Jesus somebody here ah to thank God that you're in a Jesus named church somebody here ought to thank God tonight that you know the power of that name that there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved somebody here tonight ought to get excited about whatsoever you do in Word or in deed do all in the name of Jesus somebody shout yes what's the big deal about the name this isn't the only big deal but this is one of them the Bible said at the sound of that name at the sound of that name every knee shall bow of things in heaven of things in earth and of things under the earth the things under the earth are devil the things in the earth are humans and the things over the earth or in the heaven is angels and he said every time a child of God uses that name every knee is going to bow yeah that means every angels going to bow when you use that name human spirits have got to bow when you use that name every devil in Hell has to bow to that name we're never going to get tired of hearing about the name of Jesus around here can I get a hearty amen we're not going to get tired of heaven Jesus preached about and the power of the name of Jesus preached about I want us to be a first Peter 1 14 and 15 Holiness Church [Music] Bible said in first Peter 1:14 and 15 but as he which hath called you is holy so be holy in all manner of conversation because it is written be ye holy for I am holy the gods you serve as a holy God he expects us to be holy people to the very best of our ability do you know that your Bible says holiness without which no man shall see the Lord now let me explain something to you about holiness I don't need a second scripture that one just kind of makes it plain to me if I can't see God without holiness then somebody tell me how to be holy because I plan to see God hello I want to see God I intend to see God I'm living to see God I don't have any other greater goal then I want to see him face to face but the book said holiness without which no man shall see I want us to be a book of Acts Church I want us to be a biblically correct Church I want us to be a Holiness Church I want us to be a second chronicles seven and fourteen church a praying church somebody said a praying church second Chronicles 7:14 said if my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then everybody holler then you can't have the after the then unless you do what's before the then then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land honey we're living in a nation right now that needs healing oh you didn't hear me we're living in a nation right now that needs healed I listen to for young men I don't even know who sent it to me somebody sent me a video of four young men sitting on a stairway the most beautiful harmony I've ever heard I don't think I've ever heard better harmony than these four young men that were singing but do you know what they were singing they were singing god Bless America land that I love stand beside her and guide her through the night with the light from above and as I listened to I listened to him several times but as I kept hid and replay and listening before long the tears are running down my face and it went from being a song to a prayer you're looking at a preacher that wants to see revival in America I want God to bless our land I want him to start right here in Tidewater I want him to bless Virginia I want him to bless the East Coast I want him to bless america can I tell you how that's going to happen if my people which are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I want it to happen I'm hungry for it to happen I want us to be a 1st Corinthians 1 5 through 7 spiritually gifted church the Apostle Paul writes to the Church of Corinth that in everything you are enriched by him and all lettering sand in all knowledge so that you come behind in no gift I want the gifts of the Spirit to operate in this church in 2020 like they have never ever operated before I bring in a lot of guest ministers that operate in the gifts of the Spirit and I see how you respond to them and I appreciate that it makes me know that you believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit but we've got to move from special guest operating in the gifts of the Spirit to you operating in the gifts of the spirit we've got to pray that God gives you a word of wisdom a word of knowledge or the discerning of spirits we've got to pray that God will give you a tongues and interpretation or a prophecy we've got to pray that God will give you faith and healing and miracles the gifts of the Spirit have got to operate among us say oh brother Cunningham if you opened the door for that and I am opening the door wide tonight for that if you opened the door for that you're going to just have all kinds of stuff that's right hello my little grandson Ashley's just starting to walk around I told he's dead mom when he took the first step they're holding on to him and everybody's all excited he's fixing to walk I said you know what you're all excited about it now but when he starts and then he goes from walking to running and it seems like with him it happened in one day seemed like one day he's walking just wobbly and the next day he's outrunning everybody everybody chased him all over the place you know what he does when he's just starting to walk he pulls things over and breaks them he gets in ladies purses that are on the floor that he shouldn't get ahold of he got in a medicine bottle the other night and scared us all to death I'm telling you when you get started there's going to be some junk around here that we're going to have to figure out but I'm telling you God said open the door God said walk through the door we'll figure it all out we'll do some Bible teaching will train you what to do and what not to do but we're gonna walk through the door [Applause] somebody shout yes somebody shout yes I want people to say a Bible world that in everything you're enriched by him in all utterance and in all knowledge so that you come behind in no gift I want that to be us can you say man I want us to be in acts 19 and 10 evangelism Church the Bible said in this continued by the space of two years so that all they which dwelled in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus both Jews and Greeks can you imagine what kind of passion and fervor they must have had as an early church that they had such a revival that all of Asia the largest and most populated continent on earth even then all of Asia the Bible said heard the word in just two years could you imagine all the Chesapeake Suffolk all of Hampton Roads here in the word in two years how about all of Virginia here in the word in two years how about something getting a hold of God's church in North America that all of North America hears the word in just two years I want us to be an evangelism Church I want us to be a church that cares about the lost a church that wins the loss I want us to be a church that knocks on the doors of our neighbor not to borrow a cup of sugar but just talk to them about your relationship with God and what God has done in your life somebody say yes say yes I want us to be an evangelism Church I want us to be a Matthew seven and twenty four word church I want us to be a word church therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine and doeth them I will liken him unto a wise man which built his house upon a rock I guess if you want to be a wise man or woman that is on a solid foundation you got to love the Word of God you've got to hide it in your heart David said thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee the Bible said to heaven earth is going to pass away with a fervent Heat but my words gonna stand forever that old book said search the scripture for in them you think you have eternal life and there they that testify of me come on somebody this is a word church if we're not going to be a word Church let's change our name we don't have a right to call ourselves Bible world if we're not going to be a Bible Church now hold on it's the only place I'm gonna get ornery tonight are you ready got your seat belt on y'all ready for it look at your neighbor make sure they look like they're ready if we're not gonna believe the Word of God you need to look for a new preacher if we're not going to believe the Word of God I promise you God will write it too bod over the door of this church and depart from us say oh we're great worst first preacher that ain't why he's here so we give preacher that ain't why he's here look at the building we built he didn't come here because of this building I'm telling you he is here because his word is preached here he's here because we're people that love the Word of God I don't care what the church down the street is doing I don't care what some charismatic snood I don't care what some compromisers doing we are going to be a word Church or we're going to close the doors somebody said he man the orneriness is over I got it out of my spirit maybe I want us to be a Luke six and thirty-eight giving Church the Bible said giving it shall be given unto you good measure pressed down and shaken together and running over shall men give into your bosom for with the same measure that you meet with all it shall be measured to you again I want us to be a giving Church do you know the only place in your entire Bible where God challenges us to prove him oh I hear preachers say it all the time why don't you try God see if he'll heal you why don't you try God see if he'll do this or that there's no Bible for that it's not in the Bible there's only one place in your Bible that says try God or prove me here with he said pay your tithes and give your offerings prove me here with see if I won't open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing you don't have room enough to receive preacher you're gonna take an offering no we've taken the last one of 2019 I'm gonna preach a little bit knowing we can't take another offering no matter what your practice has been in 2019 why don't you make sure that you walk into 2020 with your mind made up I'm gonna be a giver I'm gonna prove God I'm gonna pay my tithes and give offerings if a missionary comes through and needs something I got I'm gonna give it come on somebody what are you saying brother Cunningham I'm saying I want us to be an apostolic church I want us to be a truly Epis taluk Church I don't want us to be apostolic just because we've added that moniker to who we are I want us to be truly apostolic a biblically apostolic church your Bible has got to be more than just a book you love or just a book you read or a book that you reverence or a book that you consult the Bible's got to become our roadmap for direction for our life Bible said that that word of God is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our pathway the Word of God has got to be the final authority in every decision we make okay I guess all the ordering is hidden going I don't care what your college professor says I don't care how much you're paying for that ungodly anti-god education I [Music] don't care what an jane and Uncle John says I sure don't care what the TV preacher says I don't care what the latest charismatic book says oh my lord I don't care what your psychologist says or your psychiatrist I think it says something about that crew that they're the number one people on earth that have to go to a psychiatrist what are you trying to say brother Cunningham I'm saying if you want to make it in this troubled world if you want to make it in this troubled hour if you want to make it at a time that everything is turned upside down if you want to make it at a time that the enemy is coming in like a flood honey you better plant your feet on the Word of God and let the Word of God be the final authority in your life because that's the only things going to stand when everything else is gone when everything else is on fire when everything else is falling apart somebody shout yes come on somebody shout yes that word of God's got to be the manual for life and for living that word of God's got to be a textbook for your ministry you want to be used in the gifts of the Spirit do like the Bible says you want to have a ministry do it like the Bible says say man somebody God spoke four powerful promises to me for this church for 20 20 I shared them with you this morning let me repeat very quickly what I said this morning number 1 God spoke to me that there is a shifting coming there is a shifting coming and God said the discomfort the shakiness the easiness in the spiritual anxiety you've been feeling is not from the enemy it is designed by God to prepare you for a major spiritual move the second thing God spoke to me as God is bringing forth the wealth everybody say well God is bringing forth a wealth of spiritual physical financial and emotional blessings can I tell you that God spoke to my heart that on the other side hear me on the other side of the shifting is blessing God put it in my spirit to expect victory and restoration I believe that these miracles victory and restoration is coming to the church coming to the ministry coming to ministers families coming to church families in 2020 there is going to be victory and restoration come to Bible World Church come to you in 2020 does anybody want it the most powerful word that God spoke to me is the fourth thing that he said to me and I'm giving to you them to you in the order he gave them to me the fourth I believe is the most powerful because God spoke into my spirit stand strong in the present attacks the personal challenges and the uncomfortable circumstances and this is what God said everything will work out in your favor in 2020 does anybody got something going on in your life right now that you're anxious to have God workout in 2020 he said everything is going to work out in your favor in 2020 after I presented those four things to you this morning I told you that all of those wonderful promises are dependent on your and my response dependent on your and my response when God opens a door of opportunity the questions we must answer are number 1 am I going to respond number 2 and more importantly am I going to respond right and number 3 am I ready to walk through the door of opportunity it's one thing for God to give us these promises it's one thing for you to sit there and thank you Jesus oh I appreciate that Lord and then not change it's one thing for you - they're not quit in church they're going to help me with something that's why they're moving around it's one thing for us to sit there and just appreciate it's yet another thing to respond right hello what God has promised us requires a response what God has told us that he's going to do requires a right response I've come to preach to you tonight that the right response is we're going to walk through that open door tonight we're gonna walk through that open door tonight now put your attention on me just forget them over there for a second give me your attention I'm challenging every person hearing me tonight to get prepared to walk through the door before you leave this house tonight the Apostle Paul said to the church at Corinth follow me as I follow Christ and I'm asking the same thing of this great church tonight whether you're here in person or watching online I'm asking you follow me as I follow Christ I'm specifically asking each of you to join me or follow me in making five commitments in 2020 I've already made these five commitments I wouldn't come and ask you to do something I'm not willing to do myself but there are five commitments that I'm asking of you in 2020 we're going to help you to do to make those commitments listen carefully I'll go through them as quickly as I can commitment number one I'm asking you to join me in focused personal prayer in 2020 and those cards out will you go quickly thank you I want you to look at those fellows every person 12 or 13 years and up give them one of them cards everyone whoever sitting on the end help them out let them give you several when brother Brian Kinsey was here preaching in our called conference during the day he preached on the subject the rule of five the rule of five and in that message he told us that every day of the world he prays five prayers in the morning these are for himself if you didn't get a card hold your hand up they'll bring you one if you didn't get a card twelve thirteen years old and older let's make sure all the older ones get him before we give them out to anybody else hold your hand up if you didn't get a card thank you man you guys are fabulous give all these boys a good hand they're doing a good job now listen carefully to me but the kinsey talked about praying these five things I wrote down the five things he said and then I got to thinking that there are things that I've prayed every day I never put them in any real order and I've never ever put them all together in one place and maybe I pray about one one day and another one another day but there are some things that I have prayed for literally for years and some of them on a daily basis and so I started working on a rule of five for Bible World Church and on that card that you have you'll see the rule of five on the front of it the rule of five Bible world 2020 we had it made in a hard card so you can put it in your wallet put it on the dashboard of your car put it on your mirror where you shave or comb your hair in the morning put it put it on your refrigerator or coffeemaker most of you won't miss it there in the morning but put it somewhere you're going to see it every single day of 2020 and the five things that are on that card that I want you to pray every day listen carefully let me have your undivided attention boys listen to me everybody watch me listen to me while I tell you these five things you don't want to miss it number one live to glorify God now this is one I prayed every day for years my wife and my daughter and my family and my staff have heard me pray this literally for years everyday I say the words I shouldn't say everyday there may be a day or two that I miss but most days I say the words god I want you to get glory out of my life everything I do everything I am everything I say everything I believe my priorities I want you to get glory out of my life and so I want you I'm asking you to tell God I want you to get glory out of my life commit your words your actions your attitude your principles your priorities and your life to bringing God glory how many of you will make that commitment wave your hand at me commitment number two learn to reflect what do you mean by that preacher you can't fix anything or anybody until you fix self every single day we need to pray God helped me see myself like you see me help me to see the good help me to see the flaws help me to know where I need to make changes learn to reflect number three is lift and encouraged this come from brother Kenzie's list for the kinsey said I pray everyday God give me a blessing tongue the Bible said in Proverbs death and life are in the power of the tone and so every day brother Kinsey said I pray God give me a blessing tone my momma used to say if you don't have nothing good to say don't say nothing hello give me a blessing town help me to encourage people help me to lift people help me to cause people to have a better idea of themselves and and make them feel better when they've been in my presence let them walk away feeling better than they felt before I'm asking you to pray that every day how many of you would pray learn to reflect taking a look itself how many of you will pray lift and courage God give me a blessing tongue number four is love the word I want you to pray every day god help me to fall in love with your word again help me to apply your word in every area of my life I want you to pray every day to God help you to love the word here's why it's important you love the word it's this most serious scripture in your Bible there's none equal to it no other verse as powerful as serious and maybe even as scary the Bible said because they had not a love for the truth because they had not a love for the truth read on it says God gave him a reprobate mind to believe a lie and be damned and what was what was there wrong they just didn't love the word just didn't love the word I want you to pray every day god help me to love a word and number five is I'm asking you to pray God help me to be a leader in faith help me to lead in faith ask God to help you to lead the people around you in faith ask him to help you to lead your husband your wife your children your family your neighbors your friends anybody that he puts in your path that you would be a faith builder help me to lead faith are y'all still with me how many of you would make the commitment brother Cunningham I'm going to pray those five things by the help of the Lord I'm going to pray those five things every day of 2020 would you put that hand up god bless you the second commitment that I'm asking you to make five of them all together this is number two the second commitment that I'm asking you to make is to participate in our weekly somebody say weekly 30 hour prayer chain now we've made some changes in our prayer chain we've come a long way in praying as a church 16 years ago when I became pastor we prayed randomly we had times that we prayed together as a church we had random prayer we had quarterly prayer where we did 24 hours of Prayer once a quarter and then we moved a bi-monthly prayer every other month we had 24-hour prayer chains and then we moved a monthly prayer a few years ago every month we had a 24-hour prayer chain and then a year or two ago we moved to bi-weekly prayer chain that every other week twenty six times a year we would have a 24-hour prayer chain now I'm challenging this church to make the commitment that we would have a weekend 24 hour not 24 30 hours from Friday evening at 6 o'clock to Saturday midnight that we would have 30 hours of continuous prayer every single week of 2020 we made a couple changes we've told you you can pray at home or at the church whichever you prefer we would like very much for families to pray together when that's possible if you can get together as a family in your home or in a fan as a family here at the church whatever there may be two or three generations of your family but if you can get together for prayer I want you to do that if the - want to get together the singles the youth if different groups want to get together all the Sunday School teachers want to get together one time for special prayer whatever you want to do or however you want to do it we want to have 30 hours of prayer every single weekend of 2020 now we've tried this twice we tried it two weeks ago and then we just tried it again this weekend I'm happy to tell you we and usually when we did 24-hour prayer we had 18 19 20 that participated and we had some that had to take two hours or more but can I tell you with the 30 hours of Prayer we had 65 participate and we had 80 participate in 30 our prayer we had some hours that had five or six people praying I am so excited about this I would ask you this if you're going to make a commitment for 2020 this is really asking something of you but I feel like we got a church it's going to rise to the occasion I wonder when you make the commitment say well I'm going to pray 11 to 12 I'm going to pray 11 o'clock to 12 o'clock at night that's going to be my hour can I ask you to take that hour all 52 weeks of the year that when you sign up for the prayer chain don't just sign up for this week would you sign up for the next 52 weeks when you sign up would you tell them this is going to be my hour for the next 52 weeks you can pray it at home you can pray it at the church you can pray it with your family you get together with friends however you to do it but I believe Bible World Church is big enough strong enough and spiritual enough that it's time for us to take prayer to the next level somebody said amen you can you can sign up for prayer on our Bible World Church app is that right sister Jane on the app there's a place to sign up put your name there what our you're going to take and let them know you want to sign up for 52 weeks when you sign up the third commitment that I'm asking of you nobody's going to have a problem with this one I'm asking everybody between now and January 1st to choose one person that you're going to pray for every single day of 2020 and here's the caveat I'm putting on it it's somebody that you don't want to see lost you got that somebody that you don't want to see them be lost you might have a brother or sister that's unsaved you may have a child that's unsaved you may have a parent that's unsafe you may work with somebody that's a great friend but they don't know the truth they're unsaved you may have some extended family that's unsafe somebody that you love that's unsafe I want you to choose at least one person now you might choose two or three or four I'm afraid if you choose 50 you won't pray for none of them okay I want you to pray for one at least maybe two or three I don't want you to choose so many that you won't pray every day and pray fervently that they are not lost now on this one I'm not asking for a hand wave how many would stand up and say preacher before January first I will pick at least one name that I'm going to pray for every day of 2020 would you do that anybody here willing to make that commitment my lord what a beautiful beautiful representation you may be seated beautiful go ahead and clap your hands the young men are running again one of these forms gentlemen for every family would you do that give one to every family I know that may be just a little difficult if the families aren't sitting together but try to give one to every family commitment number four I'm asking Bible World Church to read through the Bible in 2020 to read the entire Bible in 2020 what they're handing out to you right now is a bread Bible reading enriches any day a bread Bible reading chart and that chart gives you the scriptures to read every day you check off what you've read and if you do that every single day of 2020 at the end of the year you will have read the entire Bible how many would raise your hand and say pastor I'm gonna make that commitment in 2020 I'm gonna read the Bible through in the coming year god bless your heart commitment number five and I'm done commitment number five that I'm asking of this great church follow me as I follow Christ I'm asking you to be faithful to God first I'm asking you to be faithful to your church and I'm asking you to be faithful to your family why preacher because we're living in a world that is more disloyal than any generation that has ever inhabited this earth I'm not talking about any age group I'm not talking about teenagers I'm gonna talk about - I'm not talking about young adults I'm talking about everybody hello everybody and I'm asking you in 2020 if it takes a change of mindset if it takes a good old-fashioned praying through if it takes you looking at yourself real straight and realigning some I'm asking that every person in this church make a commitment I'm going to be faithful to God I'm going to be faithful to my family and I'm going to be faithful to church in 2020 if you're willing to make that commitment would you lift your hand and wave it in this place today god bless you I'm telling you the response here tonight is absolutely fabulous why are we doing this brother Cunningham because it's one thing to talk about walking through the door y'all with me I'm preaching about walking through the door going to a new dimension I'm preaching about what's next for us and we're all woohoo jumping clapping stomping we're all excited but you see at that point it's just verbage at that point it's just words and one of the biggest mistakes we make in an Apostolic Church is we get all excited and we dance and we shout and we scream and we sing and we holler and then go home and do nothing about what God allowed us to feel and so I decided I'm putting some meat on the bones and we're gonna get some real commitments so all the churches down the road don't do all those five things then go down there hello oh brother Connie in there I know some other Church there they're even kind of like us and they don't pray every day and they don't read their Bible every day they're not I'm not their pastor God spoke to me for you and I believe it's time for us not to just talk about walking through a door not just clapping our hands about walking through a door I believe it's time for us to stand up and say you know what I'm gonna do some one-two-three ABC I'm gonna do some things that's gonna change my life praying over those five things on that card you can do that in about a minute or two if you do it every morning let it be the first thing you do put it on your bed stand put put that card on your bathroom sink put it somewhere you're absolutely going to see it and then take about two minutes and say it out loud god help me see me god help my life to bring you glory God calls me to fall in love with your word I want us to pray those things every day again it's I'm not asking for an hour prayer meeting now there may be a day that you'll pray about one of them and it'll just explode and you may be there an hour but every day of 2020 I want all of us to start our day praying for those five things now I'm going to explain them in more detail in the month of January before we get to the end of the month of January I will have preached all five of those as a sermon learn to reflect will be one sermon all by itself let God get glory out of your life that'll be one sermon all by itself by the time we get to the end of January I will have preached all five of those to you as a sermon but for right now you know enough about it just start praying it on January 1st amen how many of you is going to go home and put that somewhere where you can't miss it if you got to tape it to your favorite coffee mug put it somewhere you won't miss it and every morning you'll pray it before you do anything else you'll pray it you're going to pray for one person you don't want to see lost you can do that riding in the car you can do that taking a shower you can do that while you're shaving your face ladies you can do that way you combing your hair but every day pray about somebody that you don't want to see lost and the third prayer thing is I'm asking everybody that will to participate in our thirty hour prayer chains start weekly this coming Friday night this coming Friday night will be our first one of 2020 and I hope by the time we get there that we've got so many on every hour that there's literally hundreds praying 30 hours every weekend if you believe we can do that would you clap your hands would you clap your hands to the Lord I do believe we can do it I want to invite sister luster and her team to come and start getting us ready for communion I'd like for the men the ministers that are serving communion to come and take your places the men you'll be out in front of the tables if you will the ladies will be behind the tables we're going to do this kind of like you do offering we have three setups this time three different stations this time and you'll be marching around this section we'll go to this station center section we'll go to this station that section over there we'll go to that station and we think that this is going to be at least a third faster than we normally do it I told you this morning I'm not calling it a communion service well then what are you calling it brother Cunningham I'm calling it tonight a commitment service I want us to make a commitment to God there's nobody in here I don't believe that would argue that he didn't give all for us hello can I get an amen on that he gave it all for us God became flesh and dwelt among us he literally carried your sins and my sins to the cross he became the the lamb for sinners slain not a one of us would be here without him I owe everything to him does anybody agree with me I owe everything to him when you come around tonight the man that has the fruit of the vine that man is going to say to you this is his blood that was shed for you if you've been in communion before you know that's what they always say when you take of the unleavened bread that man is going to say this is his body that was broken for you now normally that's all the talking that takes place during communion but tonight while you're in line I want you to pray the prayer that I've put on the screen Jesus I'm grateful for all you have done for me and in response to your goodness and with your help I will walk through the open door tonight with your help I'm going to put these five commitments into place with your help I'm going to believe that you're going to use me and use this church in 2020 like we've never seen you work before I want everybody praying that prayer I don't want anybody talking I don't want any playing around I think this is the most solemn occasion we ever have annually in an Apostolic Church is when we receive the fruit of the vine and the unleavened bread that signifies his blood and his body that was given for us and he said as oft as you do it do it in remembrance of me not only are we doing this tonight in remembrance we're doing this tonight in Thanksgiving amen we're doing this tonight as a commitment to him Lord I want to be used of you in 2020 I want those promises you gave me to come to pass Lord I want my life to be changed in 2020 say brother can I'm already a good man can you stand to be a little better I'm already a good woman can you stand to be just a little better because that's all this is about God saying hey just come up a little higher come up a little higher I got a little more for don't you ever get to where you think you've seen all God has for you don't you ever get into thinking you've seen God's best you haven't that's what this is about tonight could we stand together and before we start marching the ushers will give us directions in just a few minutes but before we do that I want all of us to pray I don't want you praying for anybody I don't want you laying hands on nobody I want every person under the sound of my voice to be praying for self would you do that God help me tonight to be what you want me to be could we all pray together God help me to think the way you want me to think to act the way you want me to act help me tonight God to please you help me Lord God to do what I know is right what I know your word wants me to do God created me a clean heart and renew within me a right spirit I pray oh god mold me and make me into what I ought to be help me Lord God to be sincere before you help me to be honest help me to be transparent and open before you tonight I pray O God forgive me for every wrong that I've ever done any time that I've ever displeased you with my attitude with my actions with my words anytime God I've ever transgressed your Holy Word forgive me for that tonight Lord forgive me for all my sins and all my transgressions over all of my life I want to stand before you God forgiven forgiven thank you Lord that you said if we confess our sins you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness thank you Lord for the promise of redemption thank you for the promise of forgiveness thank you Lord for the promise of cleansing I love you Jesus I love you Lord Jesus I magnify you Lord Jesus uh sure Ziff you will would you start moving our rose toward the front our men are ready to serve you while you're waiting to be served I want you to pray the prayer that's on the screen I want us to understand that we're receiving Communion tonight as a commitment to him that gave everything to us everything we are and everything we have we owe to him and so tonight we're receiving communion with that mindset hallelujah to the lamb of God hallelujah to the lamb of God brother Eddie stand right there if you will and direct traffic that way thank you thank you this way right over here thank you right that direction hallelujah to the lamb of God praise God praise God praise God there you go Sunday night service we had tongues and interpretation a couple people gave tongues one person gave an interpretation and I commended them that night for trying commended them for being willing to step out to have the faith to do that it was that night that God spoke to me I tried to say it in my message in a little broadened format but that night standing at this podium God simply spoke to me and said turn him loose turn him loose it's all he said turn him loose I tried to say a little more diplomatically than that and my message tonight but I want you to know that God is dealing with me about encouraging you to be used of God turn you loose turn you loose to be used in the gifts of the Spirit to pray for the sick to operate in the supernatural I know it's a little bit scary for some and we're all going to make mistakes we're all going to make mistakes I could it's not appropriate I could have you laugh until you fell down in your seat telling you some of the mistakes I've seen and gifts of the Spirit operation in my lifetime we're going to make mistakes right and guess what that's why in the chapter about the gifts of the Spirit it said let the elders judge the elders standing by oh say you know what we need to do that a little different next time you know what here's what the scripture says about that's not telling you not to do it that's saying let's just modify it a little bit let's bring it more in line with the scripture but I want you to know I have a divine mandate from God to turn you loose to operate in the gifts of the Spirit how many of you are hungry for more yep I can't be content with what I've done yesterday what I've seen yesterday I can't go through 2020 talking about what happened in 1990 come on somebody because I believe God's got greater things for us in 2020 than we've ever seen before in our lifetime does anybody here want that do you want that god bless every one of you thank you for being here if you have any questions at
