Painting My Mini Squishies With @bellamena

[Music] hey it's me oh my gosh and it's me i am hi guys hi i have another human being with me today this is marissa she has a youtube channel as well it's called bellamina what do you do on your channel tell them i do art okay yeah yeah yeah a lot of different art videos a lot of the same kind of things that i do here i did a q a and said my biggest dream would be to collab with mariah elizabeth i think we all can probably guest and assume my biggest dream collaborator is mariah let's make this happen you are coming with me so i thought the perfect thing for us to do would be to paint some squishies i'm excited let me show you what we're gonna be doing you can just just stay here i will just wait okay bam look at this you guys have been harassing me for a long time to paint my mini squishies clearly i have a lot of them so we're gonna paint every single mini squishy right we can definitely do this that is a realistic goal okay we're not gonna paint every single squishy sorry clickbait let me bring in something else that's large and obnoxious i specifically requested that this was incorporated [Applause] also i love how she wore her blob shirt i did not tell her to do that she made me you need to be wearing your blob shirt we're going to use this to help us choose what to paint or how to paint what we paint makes sense so we came up with some different options three color blindfolded that one seems impossible swap random themes we're gonna do three rounds who spins first though me i spin first okay you're supposed to argue with me round one [Music] no i folded how do you feel about this i feel like i won't be able to see the big question is are you a bear or a bunny i'm a bunny a pink bunny yes 100 a pink bunny wow you said you were a bunny i can be a bunny okay also i hate putting blindfolds on with makeup yeah that's what i was thinking life is really really hard when you have to put a blind hold on over your makeup i'm gonna hold a bin of squishies in front of marissa and then we'll switch i'm so nervous put the blindfold on oh yes you look at it all right all right it's in front of you go ahead oh you guys what are you doing i just want to really get a good feel for what's in here i want something that makes sense this one feels like an ice cream cone yeah this one this one that's marissa's selection the green cone that's pretty doable you had the foot in your hand for a second i was like yes yes my turn i'm going under i know exactly what this is it's the little cracker that i painted in the first squishy makeover and i'm doing it it's like a cookie sandwich literally one of the first makeovers i did it's also got hair stuck in it yeah yeah we have our squishy selections that we chose at random even though marissa spent like 20 minutes feeling around and i knew exactly what this was but still next we're gonna choose our colors and we're gonna allow ourselves to just pick whatever colors we want and it's gonna be okay with you do something about it whoa you're doing the full rainbow blindfolded i figure if it's in order i can like go like red orange that's true okay you guys i've also put heat guns right here easy access is that easy enough for you she did it we're going to use those to kind of speed up the drying process blindfolds on okay oh this is i've already panicked i'm panicking i already forgot did i put the white on the left or the right oh my gosh a paintbrush i'm lost you can't see me i can't see you i can't tell if i have any paint on my paper i feel like i got a good white coat i'm gonna do a heat gun what the heck how far have you gotten i'm just doing a white base coat oh shoot this is actually harder than i expected it feels like i'm painting with air did you burn yourself yes i'm okay [Music] why am i struggling right now oh no i wonder oh shoot all right i think i have a purple color the bottom of the ice cream cone is gonna be purple i think this was my purple brush is it upside down wow that's hot oh you always realize what i didn't put my purple back into my rose so i don't know where oh everything is ruined i was gonna do chocolate sauce i'm doing chocolate sauce right now i think oh no i'm attempting to do like a pink sandwich cookie with like a white cream filling dipped in chocolate and then i'm going to attempt sprinkles that's intense is it that's a lot okay this is probably terrible why is it so sticky all right i think we're done are you ready to take the blindfold off ready is all over oh okay three two one oh my gosh okay what the heck somehow they're like kind of coordinated yeah i have like no purple on mine and i literally thought i was painting purple that kind of works though it kind of looks like a cone but i don't know how it happened i was attempting to do chocolate sauce but apparently i mixed the pink and the brown that is our blindfolded challenge i would not recommend everything was sticky everything was gooey and these are disgusting but in a way they're beautiful on to round two and we're back to the lovely wheel and i'm gonna give you the honor careful careful it's a wheel it's a rainbow wheel of specialness oh death [Music] i believe this was your idea so i kind of thought of it based off of my squishy top chef makeover series so for this i thought if we themed after squishies that mariah already created that might be fun yeah it would be fun so we can choose whichever squishies we want unless one of us takes the squishy that the other person wants then we have to battle it out i kind of want to do shelley and usus's child i was thinking of doing the peanut butter and jelly chai oh my gosh i need a cat for that oh here's a cat this is shelley and eustis's child i love it and it's holding a heart that's adorable let me try to see if i can find like a hamster i mean this isn't a hamster it's a bear but i feel like if you painted it as a hamster i mean i feel like the bear is your best bet yeah i agree we have both decided to create offspring of these two squishy couples which i'm gonna be honest i never thought shelly and uses would have a child and marissa has chosen the peanut butter and jelly hamsters i'm just looking at it and i'm like are you peanut butter or are you jelly he's gotta be one caller are you are you squishy maybe i think mine is a little boy and he takes after eustis but he's gonna have shelley's heart i feel like this one is more pressure why because i i wasn't involved in like making these i feel like people like like them a lot so that i feel like i have like a pressure yeah their child so i need purple definitely i'm trying to recreate the color of girl pb j hamsters jelly jelly jelly her name's jelly did you just make that up no and this is pb that's pb of course i'm going for the painting me too let's go it looks like he broke his knees wait what happened to it it's just that's where he was someone broke right at the knees broken this is a long paintbrush it is those are new paint brushes that i got for this studio and um and you're you're a nice back scratcher it's not the same color are you kidding it is the exact same color same this is different it's the same it's not look look you're crazy this is different i have covered my little guy in a eustis but a little bit later he's a baby eustis i like that yours can stand mine with two broken knees he's up there like strong where's the fat dotting tool did you laugh with it the squeezing paint noise yeah adults we are adults yeah we are both 20 27. did you know i was actually in the womb for 10 months what my mom fell down the stairs at nine months pregnant pushed me further up oh my gosh i was 10 months in the womb is this the same color i think it is yeah it's hard to tell is it always there is it with the glare are we going to obsess excuse me kind of the half and half thing going on here oh that's cute i like that okay thanks i have the base i think it's a little chunky oh what's his name he has no name yet who is this little being he's a combination of a grumpy cat and a creepy cat so what does that mean kind of angry but happy about being angry okay much okay so a little like crazy exactly flash forward to when everything's been cleared away and they're finished do i have to paint in my hair uh you do um i saw it earlier okay thank you for letting me know that's fine i'm just wearing it so we have our little children made that's the child of pb and jelly yeah pb and jelly that sounds weird well because you just made those names up oh that's nice shelly and eustis's child derek he gets into some trouble here and there but he's still lovable yours is freaking adorable i love the face i love it thank you oh sorry let's move on to the final round round three three who's gonna spin this time we have an odd number a duel okay rock paper scissors i get to spin go [Music] three color okay this is a good one it's fun because there's a finite set of rules and we just abide by them and then we have a good time exactly what she said i include black and white within those three colors because black and white aren't really colors they are shades we'll choose the three colors at random those are the colors we have to use on the squishies plus black and white [Music] a mushroom is cute yeah this guy that's very cute i've painted that one before a flip-flop flip-flop flip-flop flip-flop definitely not a flip-flop oh this is cute possibility i know you've done this one already i have not done this one already i'm gonna do this one no i'm second-guessing do the pig i got the pig maybe a fish a fish might be you got the color she suggested the fish the fish a fish has little like things you could that one's cute which one should i choose what about this guy what is that it's a column put one on either hand and i'll pick until you're okay this one that is the pear so now we have to choose the colors do you want to go first look away oh okay look away number one this one alright brown number two blue number three pink that's actually that's good oh this is a good combo oh good okay i'm gonna go now orange [Music] red and blue okay well those are not as great as the ones that you got this is the rule we trade now okay now i'm stuck with these we have these three colors but we can also use white and black and did we establish that we can mix colors too yes it's still limiting you if you missed yeah i'm cool mixing we are gonna be mixing our paint with popsicle sticks marissa oh no i put the popsicle sticks on the table and she's like what are those for i always mix it with my paintbrush when you mix with a paint brush the paint gets so far up in that brush it's going to take forever to get that paint out oh see i don't know if i care about that i will mix with a popsicle stick for the sake of you are we ready to paint let's do it i'm debating if i want to make this strawberry colored or blueberry color oh i'm going strawberry if that impacts your decision at all oh no blueberry is fun okay so i'm just sitting over here using this entire tube of white all right i'm going in for the paint so let's talk about what everyone wants to talk about let's talk about me let me ask you this were you shocked by my personality off camera after just knowing me from my videos no you come across pretty much the same i think something people would be surprised about actually both of us is that we actually are comfortable with silence that's something i know about you yeah that's great good blue or pink purple i'll try a periwinkle oh oh my gosh i splashed myself in the mouth so i have paint on my face now yep popsicle stick has rejected me oh is that why you're having issues yeah like this if you need to use your paintbrush i'm going to really yes wow there goes the brush that's the color i've decided on it's cute you're making me regret going for basic pink so i did not have a plan for the orange i just realized i think i'm gonna add it to my pink oh that is nice pink salmon i like that cookie oh my gosh oh that's cute you don't like it do you i think it's cute what's wrong with it maybe where do i want you to be looking buddy do you want to be looking straight ahead to the left to the right in the middle you're giving him a lot of options here you can look anywhere you want buddy it has a face oh me makes a bird cold all right i think they are complete and somehow we have a very similar very similar similar color scheme once again even though we started with completely different colors how is that possible i don't really know honestly i like yours way better than mine though just staying i'm not that happy with mine but like okay okay i feel like they need names that kind of coordinate yeah jenny and jane that's jenny ask me how i came up with those names you just you just ask me how just they came to you ask me how how they just came to me i guess we should clean up this mess now ah okay you know we almost finished my entire mini squishy collection so close so close we did get six squishies done total i like yours every round better than mine but the point is we had fun didn't we it was it was the best day of your life i had some say yes no i did it was really awesome now we have to go and do a paint tour from marisa's channel i'll leave the link
