Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
I liked the longer format because there was a lot more info presented than usual and if I wasn't interested I just skipped a bit, but what I wanted to see was covered in more detail.
I watched this yesterday. Great video. I like how he was using his grandma's refinished axe too.
I appreciate these longer videos because we get to see the whole process of working on a series of skills. When you get to watch a few of these from a variety of different bushcrafters, you get to really see each person's individual take on the "art and science" of bushcrafting.
However, I also like shorter, more episodic content that is more focused and to the point at times.
All in all, I guess it just depends on one's mood and time.
Can I put my name down for both? I like that he does not have a set format. Makes things more interesting.
Love his longer stuff. Watch his vids at home on the tv or mobile device while eating dinner and the short stuff ends too soon. I can always skip parts I don't like.
It's too long for me in one sitting but I love it. I watched it in bits last night while doing other things and I found it really interesting and informative. It's a nice change up. I think his videos are well made and I gravitate towards watching more in the usual YouTube rabbit hole!
I have been hoping for a while that Joe would make a longer video so it was a nice surprise when I saw this last night. I watched the whole thing in one sitting and very much enjoyed the video. I liked the longer format. :)
One of his best, imo. Longer format was fine with me.
Heh. I've been watching Joe's videos for the past couple of days now. Went to /r/knives intending to research some bushcraft knives but then saw this sub linked in the sidebar. Low and behold when the page loads, Joe's video is the top link, lol.
